I have a 99 Accord coupe and had the windows tinted in May 99. Recently, the tint began to bubble on 2 of the 5 windows (pretty good for being on, 20+years). Unfortunately, the original tinting company no longer handles this tint and so, I found another dealer, Masters Car Stereo and Tint. Took my car to their Greenville store, gave Tim my original receipt. They confirmed with LLumar and now my car has new tint on all 5 windows at no cost to me! How about that for honoring the limited lifetime warranty! Masters did an excellent job, and were knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them. What a terrific experience! We had out Mini tinted and everything was great from pricing to service. WHATS MORE- We had a decal on one window that we wanted to save. When I picked up the car, I saw that it was gone and assumed they couldnt save it. BUT- The tech had carefully peeled it off and relocated it to the top middle of the windshield. I didnt even notice until I got home. That is service above and beyond.

I paid over $700 for an aftermarket headlight installation in April of 2020. Purchased expensive LED bulbs for hi/low and fog lights. Returned three times for headlight issues and now Low beams are flickering. Canceled my fourth appointment and did it myself. I find that I paid for LED lights that are stamped October 2015 from the manufacture as well as the voltage regulation harness. One star for at least wiring the LED day time running light which was the main reason I had Master’s do the installation.

Took my 2016 Fiesta ST up there to get an install done from Memphis Car Audio and they killed it. Got there early, got my car in early, finished early, and the workmanship was flawless. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

WOW. Great experience all around from these guys! I worked with Tim on my 2019 Truck. They listened to what I wanted, the team was prompt and the final product was perfect. Tim never oversold me and actual saved me money when shopping other audio stores here and in Charlotte. I rode back over a few days later and Tim helped with a few technical questions as well.
Super helpful staff. Always answered my questions about any issue I may have with lifesaver or their equipment. They took the time to train me on how to use the device. Even when I needed extra training they were patient and knowledgeable. The establishment itself is always clean and tidy. They even provide a small lounge for guests to watch TV have coffee snacks and use the WiFi. They always helped me when life saver tried to mess up my appointments. And send me places that I didnt belong. They took care of my car when the device itself was reading write. At the end of the day this is just a machine and they as humans can only do their personal best to satisfy customers, and in my opinion they did a very good job. I would recommend this place for all your interlock ignition device services as well as tinting and radio/speaker/ accessory installation. They definitely know there business and work hard to provide the customers with an affordable effecient service. Thank you guys for putting your effort into my vehicle. Ive always had great service and great products from this store. Around five years ago they put some speakers in my door and they have been great no problems. A few months ago I had a friend install some rear speakers. They were okay but something wasnt quite right; took it to Masters, purchase some better speakers. They installed it, educated me about my old speakers and the new ones, and gave me a great discount. The work was fast and professional. I highly recommend them.
The staff at Masters are knowledgeable and polite. Tim and Patrick can hold there own in a conversation and never did I feel like I was getting lip service. The window tint came out great and I highly recommend them.
I wish I would have contacted Masters before using Rogers Stereo for a $3,500 speaker install nightmare. I had to make 5 different trips to Rogers for issues, and Masters solved them all in a matter of hours. I will only use Masters for all stereo needs moving forward, highly recommended!!
Would give 0 if possible. Took vehicle in to have a very expensive (although a few years old) radar detector removed from one vehicle and installed in a new vehicle. Get a quote for entire process. Show up, leave it all day. Pick up..upon driving home I realize it is not working. Call back the next morning..get the owner (she has zero personality) she never apologized simply said bring it back. My husband discovers that they had not removed or installed the rear end part. Take it back...finally call late that afternoon...owner says. Yea. It’s ready..still no apology. Before I leave the parking lot, I activate the detector, still no sound! The installers come out and say “well, we don’t know where the speakers are”. Well...did you read the manual? Ah...no, didn’t know there was a manual. They work on it an hour..finally we have sound. Bring it home...only to discover that it can’t be turned off, and as you know, detectors will pick up a lot of city interference. Call back and schedule yet another appointment. Carry it in, they work on it an hour...it’s fixed! Or so they say! The problem was they had wired it to be on constantly, so I’m told have a nice day and pull out. Fortunately, learning from experience, I try to turn the detector on...once again...NO SOUND! Turn around...go back...this time, I’m not quite so nice. After sitting there another hour, the lovely owner comes out and tells me that it’s my equipment and not their installer. Really??? Equipment was working fine when I pulled in! That woman is the most negative, sour person I’ve ever met. How she is running this company I have no idea. I came home and went straight to my bank and put a dispute of the charge on my debit card. After several weeks, I received a full refund. Whatever you do, find another place to get your radar detectors, stereos and tint done. Anywhere but here.

This places fixed my radio for dirt cheap and very quick! Steffanie upfront deserves a raise! Very friendly and social, amazing at explaining the process in an understandable way. The mechanic Mike that worked on my car deserves a raise too! Good guy and got my car in an out fast. Whole thing cost $35. I hope both these wonderful people that made my day get a raise or at least a bonus!

Wow, an honest audio shop. Whod a thunk?Have an Hyundai I was readying for sale and took it there to see if the radio was draining the battery. This was the perfect opportunity for them to slap a new radio in and declare problem solved for $300. Instead, Tim, the sales manager, explained what could be causing the problem beside the radio, had the techs pull the radio and leave it on a meter for two days, and found no problem. Techs put the dash back together without a scratch, and charged me only a standard diagnostic fee. Honesty IS the best policy. Ill be back.
Paid to put speakers and amp in car that I had told them I wanted it installed in the trunk of the mustang. They call a few hours later and say can we put the amp under the back seat we said yes because it was going to be under the seat and we wouldn’t have to worry about it. WELL what they ment to say was under the front seat at the back so anybody who sits in the back has to place their feet on top of the amp. When we noticed we called for them to fix and they said No unless we pay them $120 more to fix their screw up DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. They was a few buck cheaper than where I normally take it Rogers Stereo and BOY do I regret it you get what you pay for!!!!!

Masters is the only place I trust to purchase aftermarket items from them. The one thing masters is horrible at is calling the customer back. It always seems like you have to call them because you know when they say we call you back for a guesstimate or for any question us customers have and they say they will call you back. Now Ms. Stephanie and Mr. Zane are the only 2 people at masters that will put effort into calling or responding back to a customer. SO THANK YOU STEPHANIE AND ZANE FOR CALLING BACK. They are both great customer service representatives. Going to Masters while they are working are makes me feel like Im getting the best deal and feel satisfied with my purchase.

This visit wasn’t good at all. I had a car stereo installed in May of 2017 and what do you know 2years later it goes out. Everything was purchased from here. The warranty was only for 1 year on the car radio (pioneer). This pass weekend I stop in around 12:30-1:00. I was ask to bring it back by on Monday or Tuesday morning when they opened. Make it there this morning and they want to charge $50 just to look at the radio. The same radio that they installed, hasn’t been worked on by anyone else. Needless to say I don’t have music in my car. They wanna charge me a total of $150 to allow my radio to work again. I’ve never heard of a radio going out within 2 years of having it.SMH. FML.
Well after an excessive waiting time while their experts installed my car stereo, I returned later in the day to pick up my car. After paying for my installation fees and parts purchased, they tell me I have a lifetime warranty on the installation just to make things easy. I excitedly walk out to my car to hear the new system, but my car is dead. Nothing. It wont even turn over. They so graciously jump the car and assume that it was a fluke in the ignition. Well I drive over to RadioShack to pick up an auxiliary cord, try to start the car again. Dead. I call Masters and they claim that my battery, which had been running smoothly prior to the installation, one year old from the factory, is faulty. They refused to take responsibility and only referred me back to my car shop. They told me that the battery wasnt working during their experience which was strange because it worked fine for me. Their lifetime warranty ended up useless, and so did my car. Thanks Masters for being respectful and responsible.

Stereo and amp installation was very pricey for my vehicle compared to others I’ve since talked with. Stereo came with remote that must’ve been lost during install as well as usb cable that was in the box. I verified this before dropping off my truck. After only a few weeks my amp wouldn’t work, only for me to realize that ground had came out of the lug. Easy fix but I shouldn’t have to re-do these kinds of things so early. Amp was not mounted, rather just sitting under my rear seat. Don’t see myself doing business here again.

I had good experiences purchasing products (mostly harnesses) and getting advice there. I got an Escort radar detector repaired through them (they didnt do the work, just sent it to Escort for me). It took a while, but the price was reasonable. They even gave me some scrap wire for free when I asked if they sold a particular length that I needed. Always had good service from the shorter gentleman who wears glasses. The one time I had a bad experience, however, will probably keep me from going back. Last year I needed some old auto tint removed from a rear hatch glass and I knew it would be a pain, but I didnt shop around for prices since I had somewhat of a relationship with them. The tint guy quoted me $150, which is about what a normal complete tint job is. The guy with the glasses looked at the guy who quoted me the price, wrote something down on a piece of paper and whispered you know thats the normal price, dont you? The tint guy just grinned and shrugged. Something didnt feel right, but I needed that old tint off, so I left it. I left and saw another tint shop right down the street with their number on the sign. I called them and they said they charge $50 to remove old tint (I explained where it was so we were talking apples to apples). Turned back around and got my car. I told the guy with glasses what the other place charges and said I dont understand why your tint guy tried to charge me $100 more than someone down the street charges. He said I know. Im sorry. Took it down the street and they (Tint Solutions) will get my business going forward. I dont plan on going back to Masters, even though, again, most of my experiences were positive. Do as I shouldve done... get multiple quotes for any kind of work you need.

My wife and I have had two separate bad experiences. (I know my fault for giving them a second chance.)Nut shell:1st job (tinting) took 4 days for a 4 hour job.2nd job (radio installation) took 7 hrs for a 4 hr job.*See below for details.*March, 2019The first was a routine tinting after purchasing from a dealership. We scheduled for 09:00am to allow time to wait for the 4 hours they said it would take. We show up and they hadnt picked up the car much less started. They picked up the car 4 hours late and promised to be done by closing. At 30 minutes prior to closing they had only just started. It took them 4 days to finish a tinting on a basic car. No special or odd requests; basic. The whole time the dealership generously provided us a car because of the ordeal. Masters Radio only blamed the dealership for their problem.6/24/2019Today I had an appointment to get our radio installed at 9:00am. They told me 4 hours. At 1:45pm I asked how much longer and was told 30 minutes to finish off putting back together. 30 mins later I asked again. They informed me 2hrs. Im scrambling to getting my kids picked up from daycare as I have my car here and am waiting.If it takes 6 hours to complete a job, then give the accurate timing. Typically you should add more than needed. This is twice now.I do not recommend them. They wouldnt adjust the price or offer any discounts for future business. Nothing. No sorry either.

If I could give them no stars I would after the experience I just had today. I just left this place and they have no basic customer service skills. I am a black female. I went in the store to purchase a car DVD player for my children. One employee is on the phone and the other is with a customer. No problem. The employee with a customer finishs and says nothing to me standing there looking at the DVD players. He walks away and picks up the phone. He gets off the phone and continues to not greet me. A white couple comes in the door. He gets off the phone and greets them with how can I help you. Really. I will not go back in this store. I will make sure everyone knows how bad their customer service is with woman of color. Do not shop at this store.

Fool me twice, shame on me.Hired Master Electronics to install an accessory USB port, being very clear about its location. I even took the time to review location, for the second time, with the installer before installation. When the work was completed, the USB was not where it was to be installed, was not installed plumb (straight,) and was secured with drywall screws. On top of that, they left their installation trash and metal shaving in my vehicle. Very JV install.So. I give Master Electronics another chance with a stereo install. They are so close to my office, the convenience of their location makes it hard to pass up.I hired Master Electronics a second time to do a simple stereo install. Days later, the stereo unit has no power so I drop by to have them check things out. They explain someone, somehow, rewired my stereo since their install and thats why it no longer worked. I would need to set an appointment for them to repair the wiring. Im very skeptical at this point. Someone rewired my stereo? What?I pull the unit myself that weekend and find that the stereo unit was DEAD. Wiring was as it should have been. I installed another unit to the existing wire setup and have had a working stereo since.Ive contacted Master Electronics twice about these issue and have not gotten a reply.Horrible company. Stay away.

This place was so wonderful! Phillip, Mike, and Tim helped us fix my dads car for his bday and even stayed after on valentinesday to help us. Mike was so helpful, kind, patient and wonderful and even helped by drawing me diagrams to help me. We installed a new stereo system and sub for his big 60th then when we got problems and couldnt finish it ourselves they fixed it for me the next day! I would highly recommend them. They are patient, kind, and very helpful!
Absolutely horrible. I lined up an install for a new radio and back up camera for my car. When the salesman told me the price, I told him that he was the highest of the 3 places I called. He then offered to drop their price a little. It was still more than the other 2 quotes I received, but masters was that closest one to me, so I lined up the install 2 weeks out. The morning of the install I dropped my car off and had my wife take me to work. An hour later the owner calls me and says that she can not honor the price that her employee gave me. She also told me that they did not need my business and if I didnt want to pay the full price to just come get my vehicle. This was over a meer $30 difference her employee quoted me and the retail price. I decided I would rather them not have any of my money and just went and picked up my car. If you want to pay the highest prices in Greenville and receive horrible customer service, I suggest you give Masters a try. If not, look elsewhere.
Terrible customer service. Got a new Phoenix audio system for my truck. 2 tens with a truck box for my F-150. Had them put it in. No problems at all at first. They installed it and it sounded nice. Bought a 3 year warranty with these subs just in case anything happened. One day not soon after theyve been installed i notice my bass sounds soft. I pull over on the side of the road and flip my box up and its smoking. The subs blew. Didnt even have them turned up 50%. I was listening to rock. Not anything that hit hard with bass. So I called masters and went back down there and told Alexa what was goin on. She honored her statement and fixed them for me. Took the truck down there the next week and had it worked on and fixed. Got it back. Drove around for about another 3 months then they blew again. So I was like what in the world is goin on here. Took it back down there again and told them. Had to wait an hour and 15 minutes to speak to a manager. When I got a hold of her. She came out and looked at it. Tried to blame everything on me and said it was my fault that they blew. That I tampered with the amp . I asked for a full refund because of the nasty attitude and the disrespect i received trying to talk to them about this whole thing. I was told I cannot get a refund. Worst experience ever.

UPDATE: Got to Florida with the new stereo and found that the voice prompts from the nav system didnt work. I called up to to Masters and explained the situation. I expected the You will have to deal with it down there BUT without hesitation Patrick said he would find a trustworthy car dealer near my location and would call me with where to take it. He called 2 days later, gave me the information and I called. He was expecting my call. gave me the next appointment, and fixed with no hassle, no charge for me. I now have 2 places where I will take my vehicles for electronics. Thank Masters Car Stereo for the great service before and after the deals!Made a car deal which included installation of an after-market Kenwood nav-radio. The particular model was very difficult to find but Masters Car Stereo kept searching. We were moving and we had to have it installed Monday as we were leaving that afternoon. They found one (dont know where) had it shipped overnight to the UPS hub outside of Greenville, SC. They made arrangements to pick it up Monday morning at the hub so it would not spend the whole day on the delivery. They asked us to have the Jeep there by 8:45 AM so they could start first thing. We went out for breakfast and by 11:00 AM we were driving our new Jeep with our new Kenwood nav-radio.Have never had a store go that far out of their way to get the job done.If I ever have to buy a sound system again, I will drive the 600 miles back to Masters Car Stereo in Greenville, SC to have the install it. Worth every penny and then some!

This is by far the worst around, heard them brag about how they’ve been in the same location for 38 yrs. You would think when you first walk in the place would look modern like it should be, yet it looks like it should be condemned. Not only that but the manager (guy with the ball cap shorts and crocs on lookin real professional) doesn’t know his pricing or his equipment and said he’s been working there for 2 years and still doesn’t know anything. Not only that but when i went in to get the status of my amp to get fixed (under warranty) and they still haven’t even sent it off it’s been 3weeks. I told them to replace it cause it’s broken and they said no they sent it off for repair but a guy went to the back and showed me it was still here. Customers understand you get busy but come on seriously 3 weeks collecting dust my blame goes 100% on the staff. Not only that but they have new guys coming into work for them just about every other month because the crocs guy was bragging about how he gets people fired??? Y’all can believe what you want but this place needs to be shutdown for shady business, poor customer service, and a lot more. Look at the reviews everything in the store is over priced cause going online and finding and even with shippin is much cheaper than from them. They’ll try n sell you in oh but you get a warranty from us, don’t buy it you’ll regret it. You’ll also have a warranty from where you bought it Too! Honestly go anywhere but here PLEASE!!! I’m not telling you to just give a bad review. I’m genuinely trying to save you money and prevent you from being stuck in a bind. Listen they don’t care how they get there money as long as they get it and if it means you going into debt by financing it’s all a scam! Let he who has ears listen.

Deserved a 0 star rating. Made an appointment to have a basic touch screen radio with backup camera into a 2007 Toyota tundra that I already had sold to a customer. I was quoted $630 for everything, this included the integration of the steering wheel radio controls and the factory jbl stereo. Made my appointment on Wednesday to drop the vehicle off Thursday morning at 9am when they opened. Dropped the truck off right at 9am like I was supposed to, was told it would be a 3 hour job. So 4 hour pass, no call, I call them multiple times and get put off. Finally when I call at 5pm I am told the truck can be picked up Friday morning. Pick the truck up Friday morning, my porter tells me as we pull back in to my office 15 minutes away that the radio isnt picking up any fm stations. I immediately call back get a young guy on the phone who doesnt seem to care Im having issues and doesnt have any idea what hes talking about. The soonest they can look at the truck is the following Monday. So Monday comes around, we drop the truck off to tell them there is no fm reception and the steering wheel controls do not work. Hours later with no phone call from anyone we call them to check the status of the vehicle. Were told the vehicle will be ready around 6pm. We close at 5:30. So Tuesday we go to pick up the truck,. get there the steering wheel controls work but there is still no fm reception. Leave the truck there. About 4 hours later after still NO phone call from anyone at masters I call and the truck is ready I was told I wasnt doing something right. Go to pick up the vehicle still very poor reception. Karen the owner tells me first that is is normal for the vehicle to only pick up 3 radio stations. And it was due to the cheap radio that was purchased. The 3 radio stations it picked up in there parking lot were lost as soon as the vehicle was moving. So we take the truck to the other masters in Easley Sc To replace the radio which is obviously defective for a different one of the same price. Try to up charge us $140 more for a better quality radio long story short after multiple trips to and from both of their locations 0 phone calls back from anyone in any office during any time the truck was there and a very poor install (butt connectors and old wires all over the floor and electrical tape stuck all over the dash) we finally were able to have the radio and equipment removed and a refund. Took the vehicle to Rogers Stereo to have a kenwood head unit and backup camera installed which is steps above the quality masters was selling us for $30 cheaper. Masters doesnt have the worst customer service Ive ever seen, They have NO customer service. I wouldnt recommend anyone have any work done here. No phone calls back, rude owners, incompetent help and over priced services for low quality products.

I had Masters install the new Apple CarPlay in my Jetta. Since the product is very new there were definitely some glitches... but Karen took care of me. She had my car picked up and dropped off and the took care of the problems. Good follow-up customer service.
I have recently bought a pioneer radio worth $1000 from Master Stereo. When I went to get a quote about putting it in, I was told that the whole process would take about 1 hour and 30 mins. Well I took it to them at 1pm and didn’t get my car back until 5pm. Now my radio is making a popping sound every time you turn it on.
They are such great people that work there. Not much of a selection of systems but great prices!
I absolutely hate this place. LIARS, LIARS, LIARS!!!!! They say one thing but do the total opposite & they charge a arm & leg. My keyless entry was done & then realized it doesnt beep, called them back & was told $30 wow, really! So I got it done, now it doesnt beep anymore. I was told to come in told at lunch, I come in but now Im being told it will bw like an hr wait to get to it, wow really. They are horrible & shouldnt be trusted at ALL, DONT WASTE YOURE MONEY, I PROMISE!!!!

Dishonest, misinformed, overpriced, and unintelligent. They declare themselves CB experts, and quickly proved that they had no experience and no desire to please the customer. I bought my antenna and radio on my own because of their awful prices in store, and I knew first hand that they were top of the line. I install everything and need to get my SWR tested, a 10 minutes process. I drop the car off at 11, they say they cant get to it for a little while because theyre busy. Thats fine, I was told less than 2 hours...but 2 hours later I go to see when it will be ready.....and my car hasnt moved. I talk to the manager again, he sends his CB guy out to check it out. He brings a magnet and within 10 seconds, he says Bad ground, cant test it and that was it. I drive the car home, fix the ground, and bring it back. Well, another hour later, they are still stumped as to why they cant get a reading. He pulls out another antenna that they sell, tells me mine is crap, and shows me that he can get a reading. I tell him that he should solder that connection which I had originally suggested, and 2 mins later I had an antenna that read better than his without modification. Well, I was told it was going to be $15 to do the SWR reading, and I wouldnt mind $5 for the solder, but instead I was charged $45 dollars. FORTY FIVE DOLLARS.Dont forget, Im dealing with the manager the entire time, who was nothing but unprofessional and rude. I wouldnt bring my worst enemies car to this shop. For CBs, I will now always use the TA on 85, and for radio I have and will always use Rogers Stereo.

Ive been to this place a couple times over the years only reason I was disappointed with my last visit is because I was looking for a box to go in my trunk and they were trying to charge me $800 to build a box because they said one wouldnt fit from them not could they order one but I got one from a competitor that fit right in the trunk for a $100, and that is the reason for my 3-star rating which has always been a five.
Seemed all about installing my new alpine into my audi. Ordered parts saying theyd take about three days to ship. Called a week later and was told parts still hadnt come in but that theyd call soon. Two weeks later ive gone elsewhere.
