A few months back I brought my Mini in for service, a car which I had purchased from Century Mini, and bought a service plan. I had to wait 2 hours to have it serviced, plus the hour drive to and home. The multi-point inspection said all was great. However, 10 days later my brakes were grinding into the rotors! They had past inspection, but now I had to replace the brakes and the rotors. When I reached out to the service department, their response was Oh, so sorry. No offer to pay for the brakes, or any compensation. My only offer was to cancel my service plan. So disappointing!!

He made me believe in the ultimate buying experience turned into The Ultimate Driving Experience for Mini Cooper. His knowledge of the vehicle was outstanding being a service technician at one time he was able to talk about the car like he owned it. Nice and professional and informative from there website to meeting the Sales Representatives in person. Process of buy a car from there is peaceful and comfortable. They do not make you feel like your are not wanted or too busy to answer questions or understand your needs. Took my car in for one thing, got charged $3,000 to put in parts that didn’t fix my original issue and then was sent home with my car. I brought my car back in two more times over the course of a couple weeks and they finally figured out the issue but wanted another $1,600 to fix it. To fix the ORIGINAL issue. I found a different mechanic who replaced the part for $200 and now my car runs great. Never again will I take my car here for repairs.
I purchased my 2022 Mini in July 2021 at Century MINI. This was by far the best car buying experience my husband and I have ever had.Baynes Norton was our sales person ~ he is excellent - low key, knowledgeable and professional. Despite the 3+ month delay when ordered, the pandemic glitches and the the change of orders, Mr. Norton kept us informed, up-to-date and promptly replied to all our inquiries.I especially liked the fact that we worked with Baynes alone and were not ‘passed around’. He was the only contact person for anything we needed and was up front, direct, yet personal. I would gladly refer him to anyone looking for a top notch car buying experience.As well, I highly recommend this dealership for the car buying process utilized.
Honestly I’m so upset by giving this review. I haven’t even been there yet! I called 4-5 times trying to speak to someone regarding my Mini Cooper and left 3 different voicemails over the span of 2-3 WEEKS I have yet to receive any information from anyone. I truly believe nobody actually works here.
Im a long-time MINI owner. I bought my first Cooper in 2007. Ive subsequently purchased 3 more. Ive had my 2017 Clubman serviced here 4 times in the last 12 months and the service of my vehicle has never been a problem... the customer service is lacking for me. Theres no welcoming friendly atmosphere at this dealership. Ive had my cars serviced at Sterling MINI in VA, Fields in Orlando, FL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Edison, NJ and Wesley Chapel, FL. So Ive had many service appointments with this brand and I can tell you that Century MINI is not up to par in providing a pleasant customer experience as the above locations are...Ive always had talkative and knowledgeable service advisors who were just as passionate about the brand as I am. Not my experience at Century. I received an email from Chase Cronin telling me about the specials in July and that they were interested in my 2017 as a trade-in. I responded saying thats great I have a service appointment on this day at this time and Ill be waiting for my car... please come see me in the waiting area...that didnt happen. They had maybe 5 new cars and maybe a dozen pre owned vehicles. Its a depressing and sad state of affairs.
I have never had a better car buying experience in my life! Everyone on the Mini team there made us feel like family. Kevin has this talent for making what is usually a stressful experience a calm and fun time. We never felt rushed or like we were just another number for their sales. I purchased a Mini Clubman for my wife, yesterday and I need to express my profound gratitude to Team Century Mini, specifically, Sale Manager Kevin Klocko and General Manager Chase Cornin, for the excellent customer service and the no haggling over price and servicing.The Mini, was priced well below the market value, but there were no short cut taken and this vehicle was fully loaded and well maintained, by the previous owner. And General Manager Mr. Cornin, reinstated the maintenance protection plan, as an added bonus. This generous gesture, will save me thousand of dollars, out of pocket cost. Thank You Sir.I would be remiss if I did not mention that Kevin, had the vehicle cleaned and prep, for my test drive. And as an added touch of class, the vehicle had a placard with my full name, displayed on the front dashboard.After test driving the vehicle and determining that I was going to make the purchase. I presented my debit card to Kevin, to secure the car until the next day.Kevin, extended his hand and stated that we have a gentlemens agreement to sell and buy. No down payment was requested or demanded. Tell me what dealership will hold a car for you without any monetary consideration or skin in the game, NONE! My only requirement was that I would return on the next day with full payment, to complete the transaction. It is refreshing to know that a hand shake and a mans words are still respected and honored.I am posting this review today, even though I purchased the vehicle, yesterday. My wife and I drove the car to Durham, North Carolina today, and it was a wonderful and smooth ride.We are still trying to familiarize ourselves with all of the cars bells and whistles. Patrick was ready, and had preliminary work done, and when I arrived he readily introduced me to Chase and Angela. Today, the battery of our 2017 Mini Cooper died. We needed urgent replacement. We tried to reach the service department of Century Mini several times, but we got always transferred to voice mail. The receptionist was useless, as well as the lady in the Century BMW service department, we spoke with. Finally we left a message with the request to call us back with information on pricing and availability. Nobody called back. Very disappointing! Especially as we were used to get better service in the past. At the end Battery and Bulbs helped out, got the business and replaced the battery in no time including programming and 5 year warranty. A one hour job with no appointment and no waiting time, and our Mini rocks again. You may just have lost a loyal customer.

Friendly staff, I made an appointment and didnt have to wait and my car was ready in time.
Diagnostic check was $162.12. They drove my car and did something I could have got done for free at Auto Zone. No work was done on my car. Didnt even get a car wash or vacuum. Nothing was wrong with my car but labor was $139.88 and misc charges were $20.98. What the heck! Not coming back. After this experience two of my tires popped which they should have seen they were in extremely unsafe conditions and my car stopped working.My car is yet again not operable after spending almost 500 to tow it to them and almost 4,000 to have them fix it over a span of 3 weeks. Not good. After giving them a second chance to redeem themselves I do not recommend taking your vehicle here. I just got my car back on October 19th from you guys. I paid close to 4000 and you guys had my car for 3 weeks. My battery light came on and a loud squeaking started as I was driving. Took it to autozone and a mechanic here said the belt is gone. Something was not put in correctly (something with the tensioner) and the belt came off. He said this is something you guys should have noticed. This is the second issue I have had with you guys. I will be needing my money back or I will be getting a lawyer involved. My car could have stopped while I was driving on the highway.

I bought my first Mini Cooper at Century back in 2010, and when it was time to upgrade recently I knew Id be taken care of back at Century! Everyone is so friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. It can sometimes be annoying and intimidating to be a girl trying to buy a car, but I never once felt that way at Century! I love that Century is a Sonic Automotive dealership. I know that Im getting a great price and customer service from an awesome company. The whole process - finding a car online, taking a test drive, and the paperwork were all streamlined and enjoyable.

Made an APPOINTMENT for a Oil Change and to Check the Tire Pressure - Nearly 2.5 hours later the car was finally done. Not sure why it would ever take so long to do an oil change. There was only one other customer there. They rinsed the car off and moved Both Front Seats all around. Why would you move both seats? If you are like me.. I cant stand someone to move my seat. They did not vacuum the car .. so why move the seats?.. My Appt was right at lunch.. so did they all go to eat and leave the vehicle and me sitting there? Not a happy camper !
Very easy to deal with, good service and responsive. It took some time to get my Mini over - but it was still faster than with other brands. When I ordered the car I was some kind of disappointed how easy this was. Paperwork came finally with the hand over. But this was very well handled by Tanner Madson. I can really recommend Century MINI and the team.

This is the second time I have had my Mini serviced here. The service attendant, Bonnie Parker, is great. She is so friendly and easy to talk to. The service is done in no time at all. I was emailed and sent a text when my car was ready, along with a copy of the invoice. This is the only place I will ever have service done on my Mini. You are treated like a friend who has come to visit.While they were servicing my Mini, I test drove a Countryman and ended up purchasing it. My salesman, Ryan Lassiter, was superb. He was verypersonable and makes you feel at home. When I purchased my new Countryman, the dealership owed me a pair of bonnet stripes. They were delivered to my house in less than a week. In my past experience, you cannot always count on what a dealership promises you. Well, Century Mini came through with flying colors. I give 5 stars to the service department and the sales department of Century.
Was kind of hard finding out where the overnight key slot was at. Service was fast and accurate. The guy answering the phone though didnt seem very informed of what was going on when asked simple questions. The complimentary car wash and detail was nice!
Dont deal with them on a car unless you are local or able to come to the dealership to pick up your car. I first contacted them a couple of days ago about a low mileage used car, and told them on the first contact that I was not local, and would not be able to come to the dealership. They said no problem, and even provided me a shipping fee. When I asked about financing, they told me that because it wasnt a BMW, they couldnt help me. They suggested that I contact my bank, which I did. I applied for, and received loan approval. When I got back to them to purchase the car, I was told that I had to come to the dealership, sign the paperwork, and drive the car off the lot myself. I have purchased other cars long distance, and all the paperwork was handled by next day mail, which they would not do I was told that this was Corporate Policy. I wish they had told me that BEFORE I went through the trouble of getting loan approval. Dont let them waste your time like they did mine.
We recently purchased a used Mini Convertible. It needed some general maintenance repairs due to its age. Josh, the mechanic, explained these repairs in detail, and seemed to be genuinely passionate about Mini Cooper cars. He treated me with respect, and I appreciated his knowledge and skills. Bonnie, the scheduler, was very efficient, keeping me informed about this repair progress. She responded to my texted request in a timely manner and sent messages when changes occurred. The great attributes about Century Mini is that they provided me with a complimentary loaner car, and the facility is super nice, very customer friendly, and convenient. Overall, this experience was pleasant.
The recall was apparently the reason the check engine light was on even though the service advisor said the car needed 1200.00 in other repairs. I feel that was just his way of getting 145.00 to scan it for codes. I had the car scanned after I came back to NC and it didnt have any of the codes that he said it had

Century checked and serviced the car--they did not have the part but assured me that the car was safe to drive home and that I should not have any problem. They couldnt have been any nicer or efficient--a great dealership.

If I could give to less than ZERO stars I would...We bought a 2019 Mini on February 23, 2019. Today is April 23rd and we still have NO TITLE on the new car to get our tag. Enough is enough, you certainly did not hesitate to take our money but apparently we are not worth the time or trouble to fix this issue.

Sad. Had an apt. Brought my countryman in because my speaker was out. Was there for nearly three hours. They said I needed a new speaker. Big surprise. Took them three hours to figure that out. They said so sorry. We are busy today. But if you have an apt why would being busy make a difference. And to add to that they are the closest dealship 45 minutes away. So great ANOTHER VISIT. I won’t be getting another mini!
Service department was very nice and very helpful with getting our car fixed and transporting us where we needed to go, the service staff was very friendly and keep us updated on the progress of our car. The sales person we talked to seemed knowable but we had to kinda pry info out of him when we were test driving different cars, but overall the experience was quite pleasant.We would recommend there service again.

Took the Cooper in to have recall work and Mr. Shirley was super nice and explained that there was other small stuff wrong with it.. and did not try to pressure me at all and when I picked it up there was absolutely no charge for anything..I declined the small things because Im also a mechanic.. great guy! The technicians and mechanics are very helpful with any questions I have. They are happy to explain things to me to get to know the engineering of my mini better. I always receive some good tips on keeping my mini running great and giving it a long lifespan too.
I stopped by Century on a whim to see if I would even like the mini. Needless to say I have one in my garage now. Angela was the best ! It was pouring rain Saturday but she didn’t hesitate to show me cars. Explain the differences in the models and help me with my purchase ! Superb customer service !
My R53 Mini has 180,000 good miles on it. Almost all the service has been done at one of South Carolinas two Mini dealers. A room full of mechanics who work on Minis all day long every day is what keeps my car almost as good as when I got it new. This time I got a new power steering pump. Century uses OEM parts, their price was a little better than what I found on the Internet. Labors not cheap at a dealer, but worth it at a good dealer like Century.

My husband and I purchased a used vehicle at this location with the exceptional assistance of Ryan Lassiter! I was able to test drive the vehicle the day before with Ryan and schedule an appointment for the day, first thing in the morning, when my husband was able to be there. Great Job !!!! Had some warranty work done and check for a coolant leak they completed the warranty and inspected the entire car found the problems and told me there findings at no time trying to force any of the repairs ( as we all know some do) just quoted the work and let me decide what to do. I took my new, lightly used MINI Countryman in for its first 10,000 mile service at Century MINI. It also had one problem that I wasnt sure could be fixed: the tailgate would open at random when I was in a store, restaurant, mall, etc. The service people went straight to work to get to the heart of it. It turned out to be a programming issue with the car itself, not with the key fob. It took them a while to research the problem and solve it, but I was comfortable in the waiting area, with coffee and snacks provided, working on my laptop, while they figured it out. And they DID! Now I can say that my new MINI is perfect for me, indeed.

I just took my one year old BMW X5 in for its first service. Jim Cody, service advisor was great. He explained all the services that were to be done and had the car washed, vacuumed and ready on time. I could not have been more pleased. Great waiting area as well.

Bonnie is great! She doesn’t try to sell you something you don’t need like service folks at other dealerships do. I feel comfortable going to Century Mini for service on my car because I am treated fairly.
Excellent customer service. We always get the best care, even advises us on things that need fixing. Always go our of their way to help on our older BMWs that are constantly needing things fixed... Top notch service. Theyve worked with us so many times on costs and repairs... Love these guys & gals.

Stopped in just to check out the Minis. The salesman, Marcus, was informative, helpful, polite, and not overbearing. We fairly quickly found two cars on the lot that met my needs, took them both for test drives, and I was sold. The sales manager on duty worked on the numbers with me - came back with a great price on the Mini, and did what was necessary to come up to the dollar figure I was after for my trade-in.It was the first time Ive ever gone in to look at a car and left the dealer the same day in that new vehicle. Top-notch act from start to finish!

There are no words to describe the AMAZING service I received at the service center for Century MINI. My car needed extensive work and Hagen helped me the whole way through. Hagens customer service is above and beyond excellent. When my car was first towed in we did all our corresponding over the phone or through email. Hagen made such an impression on me I had to drive to Greenville to meet him personally. I would encourage anyone to use Century MINI service center and to ask for Hagen when you get there!

Great Service - Clean FacilityWe have an older MiniS and have had Century perform upkeep type maintenance as well as a few repairs that came up.Century is a great dealership / service facility that we would recommend to our friends and family.
Bonnie is the best thing about this place. I needed to take my car in for service and called numerous times over 2 weeks and only talked to a person once- otherwise it went to voicemail, or just rang and rang with no answer. When I took it in and chose to wait on site for the 2.5 appointment I was disappointed the coffee machine had a message needs cleaning so I asked one of the sales people to tell the person responsible and she shrugged it off saying its just when someone gets around to it. I also asked the person behind the parts counter and got the same answer. So when I saw the saleslady with a piping hot cup of coffee she said she just walks over to the BMW waiting area to get coffee and I should do the same. It looked like Bonnie was doing the job of 3 people.
It was a pleasure ordering / buying a new Mini Countryman at Century Mini.Ian Long salesperson had a good knowledge of the Countryman and took the time to help me build the vehicle that suited my need. After my order was placed Ian kept me updated on the status of delivery.Once the vehicle arrived I was picked up at GSP by Ian and was at Century Mini less than 1 1/2 hrs to complete financing and the deal. Very pleasant and easy experience. My salesman. Ryan Lassiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful in the purchase. I highly recommend him! The manager was also helpful in the process. Nick Gubitosa, the check-out man was certainly helpful going through all the whistles & bells in these electronic marvel machines. The building was new, and beautiful. AND... the MINI is a great fun car! My wife and I are in our 70s, have had a Ferrari, so we know what fun is!
Chad is working hard to regain respect for this dealership. His word is solid as he does exactly what he says he will do. Alicia in the service department is also a gem. She takes good care of the customers by following up and keeping them posted as to repair needs. I am very pleased with the team at Century. That is special because service goes beyond the sale.
BMW was an excellent choice for servicing our Mini. We usually take it to century mini next door. Mechanics have always done a great job at century however what made the difference this time was the people at the desk for check in. Service at the Century mini is consistently rude and not very helpful while at BMW John was kind, efficient and helpful.
Friendly staff, excellent service. Took my 2012 Mini Copper Hardtop in for an oil change and tire rotation on a Friday afternoon. Service was fast and well done. I reccomend Century for your Mini service.
I recently stopped at Century MINI when my check engine light came on as I was traveling home from MINIs on the Dragon. They got me in right away, diagnosed my problem and did a complete service on my MINI and had me back on the road in no time. I was very pleased with the friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism of Bonnie in Service.
