We went from trying to stay cool in 80-degree weather to feeling too cool in 100-degree weather and having to turn down the system. Called on Saturday morning with one unit pushing out hot air. Gary came out right away. Before he came he explained the off hours charges to ensure we still wanted him to come out. The charge was reasonable for a weekend and Gary had the unit up and running within an hour. Have been using Authorized for over 20 years because of their professionalism and reasonable rates

After having some work done by another local company and not being super happy about it, we called Authorized. Luis is absolutely wonderful. Friendly, professional, and great at explaining what he’s doing and why. Showed up super quick and took care of my family on a Saturday morning when my mother in law was in town and we had no A/C 🤦🏼‍♀️ And set us up with a maintenance program to help us try and get a few more years out of two older units. I will never use another HVAC company and cannot recommend this one highly enough!

I called this company after having issues with a different one. The previous company we used kept trying to tell us things were fine so we would keep paying them to recharge our system with refrigerant. After paying them $1,100 in two years for a still broken system, Im really glad I called Authorized. The technician was very friendly, professional but conversational as well, and he explained everything so that it made complete sense. My experience with who Im assuming is the office manager was also great. I called around 11:15 on a Monday morning with no AC on a 90 degree day. They told me they were booked solid and it would probably be the next day before they could come, but she said she would take my number in case someone finished early and could make it out here. She said she would call me either way to let me know just so I wasnt sitting around hoping. I had already called some other places and they all said they were booked until tomorrow, but she was the only one to offer to try and squeeze us in if possible so I immediately knew I wanted to go with them. Sure enough, she called a couple hours later to let me know someone would be able to come later in the afternoon and that she would call again when she had an exact time. She called a third time to let us know when the technician was 20 minutes out. Fantastic customer service all around. Its only been a day so Im still waiting on our unit to arrive and be installed. Ill update my review if there are any issues, but as of now I definitely recommend this company. Its hard to be nice when youre sitting in an 87 degree house just sweaty and miserable, but so far they deserve the positive feedback.PS: Their diagnostic/service fee is comparable with every other place I called; its $10 more than some, and $10 less than others.

Authorized H&AC responded quickly and professionally to my call for help. They were able to see me the following day and within an hour had analyzed, explained, and fixed an AC flow issue which had existed since the home was built. Wish I had called them sooner !!!

Gary did a thorough inspection of our system. While he was not able to identify an issue, he made extensive notes regarding this visit. He will come back in the fall for our regular maintenance, and will check for any potential problems.We had our HVAC system installed by Authorized and have regular maintenance with them. We are very satisfied with their service.

Authorized heating and air has been coming out every fall and spring for many years to provide preventative maintenance to our HVAC unit. This fall, Gary discovered a faulty (worn out) part in the unit. The part was not available in Greenville, so had to be ordered. It came in promptly and Gary returned to install it. Of note he is the person that installed this system new many years ago! I highly recommend this company. The office staff has worked with me and my work schedule to get things done. They communicate well in making appointments and letting us know what is to be expected. Excellent all the way around!

Authorized Heating & Air installed my Trane system 24 years ago and have serviced it twice a year since. They have had to replace the exterior fan motor once and the interior fan motor once. Both repairs were fast and reasonable. The technicians that have installed, repaired and serviced our system, these many years, have been polite, professional and personable gentlemen.I will continue to use them and recommend them to friends, family and everyone else!

I called Authorized Heating &Air for a repair quote around 9:00am, they gave me a 2 hour appointment window for that same day from 11:00-1:00, called at 10:40 to let me know Gary was on his way. Gary arrived at 11:05! He was professional, conscientious, very clear and transparent as to what should be done, gave me a very reasonable quote + even got Matt (the Owner) involved on a question regarding county codes. Matt went so far as to reach out to the County for clarification and was in touch with me directly on how to proceed! Very impressed with the level of care + service.

Very pleased with the service we received. Last year Matt helped us select an new Trane heating & cooling system for downstairs. This year he helped us select the appropriate upstairs unit. Installation technicians arrived on time and were courteous and knowledgeable.

To me, having such good comfort and confidence level with this contractor, while an intangible, is worth the $$ premium.UPDATE ao 9/28/20:Installation of 2 complete replacement Trane XL16i AC/Gas furnace systems, complete replacement and balancing of the downstairs duct system, and improving the intake side for the second floor unit, were all completed 9/23, taking just 3 days. Juan and his install team were SUPERB. The 2nd floor was especially challenging, necessitating using the enlarged intake duct port to get the old unit out and the the new unit into a very cramped attic space. Everything came together perfectly, and was totally stress free (for me at least).Came off without a hitch, with no mess, no damage, both systems working perfectly, and very quiet operation inside and out. I’m extremely satisfied with the result!It has been a pleasure working with the whole Authorized team, and I would highly recommend these folks for any and all HVAC needs!

The 19 year old Trane hvac unit died and I had a new Trane hvac unit installed. The workmen were on time, did a great job.

When we bought our house in 2004 Authorized replace the heat pump for us. They have serviced our system twice a year and taken care of any issues. They installed a new system with new heat pump and gas furnace for us recently. They are a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them.

Gary the technician from Authorized Heating and Cooling was recommended by a friend and new neighbor. Having several choices of companies I went with them. The annual contract price was $229 more than my previous company but so far the company has very professional scheduling, very responsive, and tech Gary took his time to explain the system and older thermostat to me as I acclimate to my new home which was built in 1996 with the original systems and monitor them until I can budget for a newer one.

When our AC quit on a very hot day, we called Authorized. On a sat. John came and found the problem and had it up and working again, very much appreciate his professionalism and knowledge.

Authorized Heating & Air installed my Heat Pump several years ago and have been doing my maintenance on it. The come twice a year to do the maintenance for one low price. Ive only had to call them once during all this time for a service call. They were there rapidly and repaired some lightning damage. These people are courteous and experienced. I would recommend them to anyone who wants someone reliable!

Recently my AC quit working. Authorized Heating and Air came out and explained my options. They they told they could fix my current system but since it was older explained the risk of the fix not lasting. Since my system was older I asked about installing a new unit. They explained my options and didnt try to sway me to choose either one. I decided to replace the system since it was older. I thought the price was reasonable and the installation crew was very friendly and careful. Overall there wasnt anything that that I was unhappy with with my dealings with them. Ill definitely call them again for my heating and cooling needs.

I told Brian that I wished that the thermostat was programmable, and he informed me that it was in fact programmable. He programmed it for me. I really appreciate it!

Luis was the technician that was sent to our home for the repairs needed. I would first like to mention how professional and respectful he was with our home. He came wearing a face mask and slipped on some shoe booties when walking inside the house. He was in and out of the house and every single time he removed and put them back on. Ive had people come that would put the shoe booties on when they get in the house and then leave them on when they go outside and proceed to walk in the house with them which absolutely defeats the purpose. The pricing was fair for what was done. As stated on their website they will tell what they need to do to fix the problem and tell you the price before proceeding. One thing I liked is that he didnt try to sell us any B.S. stuff. The only thing he quoted us on was the parts that needed to be replaced. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done. I will be using them in the future for all my Heating & Air needs.

I called Authorized to look at our heat pump as it was making a good bit of noise and thats not the way it usually sounds. Gary came out and checked and found the problem right away. He was personable, polite, and masked. Authorized put in this heat pump 23 years and it has been a good one.

Diagnosed the problem with my HVAC quickly, and the fee for the service call was very reasonable.

I have an issue with my heat pump and I have gotten a couple reasons as to why its not operating properly. So, I decided to call a HVAC company myself. I got a nice, friendly lady on the phone who answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about how the system should operate. It made sense once she explained things. Some of the things she said another person said the same thing. I truly thank her because she did not have to share the information. I was really expecting a guy to answer. So ladies call and speak with the lady. I didnt get her name but tell her I said she was awesome!!

John installed a new thermostat!!! He was professional and very helpful solving my thermostat problems. I will ask that that he is sent anytime I have a problem with my heating and air. Knowledgeable and answered all of my many questions. Five+ star!!!

I contracted with Authorized Heating and Air to replace both of my 20 year old HVAC systems in my home. Since the home was built, I had opened up the layout and the original HVAC no longer efficiently conditioned the air. We always had areas that were too hot or too cold because the ducting was wrong,Authorized installed two new systems and zoned them into five separate zones -- each with its own thermostat. Now, the master bedroom can be heated/cooled separately from the rest of the second floor. Additionally, the two story Great Room, which has a sun-facing wall of windows in the morning, can be cooled without freezing the other side of the first floor.The system has fixed a lot of comfort problems and I cant say enough good things about the Authorized team. They were prompt, professional, and provided quality work. I got multiple quotes for this job and selected Authorized. Looking back after the job is complete, I know I made the best choice.

We used them at our primary residence for the last 8 years, and have used them at our rental townhome properties for repair for the last 6 years and for repair and a maintenance agreement for the other rental townhome for the last 2 years. One of our rental townhomes heat stopped working on Monday, so we called and spoke with a technician Monday evening to get service for Tuesday (1/12/21). The technician was extremely nice and polite while taking the information, and said the office would call us the next morning as to when a technician could come out, but it would probably be in the afternoon. As of 8:30 Tuesday morning (1/12/21), we had not heard anything from the office, so my husband called them. The office said they would call him back when they figured out when he could be worked into the schedule that day because they were very busy with calls. At 12:30 pm, we still had not heard anything, so my husband called the office again. He was informed only at that time that the technicians did not have time to make the service call at our property that day, and we would be taken care of the next day. This is NOT the type of customer service that you give a customer that has been doing business with you for 8 years. My husband called Absolute Climate Control after reviews that he saw from some of our neighbors on our community FB, and the office told him that no matter what a technician would get to our property today. He received a phone call about 2 1/2 hours later from the technician that he was headed to our property to give my husband time to drive there also. Not only did Absolute Climate Control install an entirely new HVAC unit 2 days later at that property, but we moved our 2 other maintenance agreements to them as well because we were so impressed with their customer service. Authorized Heating & Air lost the business of a new HVAC install and 3 maintenance agreements all due to the poor service that we received from the office on Tuesday, January 12.

Gary came to my home Friday afternoon to give me a quote for my unit as a storm caused a tree to fall on it. He was so knowledgeable and so kind to explain everything to me. I woke up to a No Heat situation. I called Authorized Heating & Air first thing in the morning and they said they would send someone out to look at my Trane furnace which they did about a half hour later. The technician, John, looked at the furnace and quickly determined that I needed a new blower motor. He installed a new one in a couple of hours and I had a warm house again. Many thanks to Authorized and especially to John for quickly solving my problem in a professional and fast manner.

Weve used Authorized Heating & AC multiple times over the last ten years, and weve always been happy with their service. When our heat went out this morning on our very old furnace, I called them again. John arrived within a few hours and fixed it so we had heat again. John was polite, pleasant, and efficient. We are satisfied customers.

I read the negative reviews. Please ignore all of them. Yes, sometime people are slightly delays or miss calling back, but we are all human. These guys put their best foot forward and care about their work. It doesn’t get better than them in terms of quality and value. They provide several thousand in savings for same equipment and install and had one slightly lower bid but from a less reputable company which could tell was taking the cheap route. The cleanliness of the work that they did was amazing. Everything was mounted and organized neatly. I have never seen this quality it if an hvac contractor. They spend the extra time to get it done right. They tell you the truth of how to weigh options and are not pushy at all. They were almost not trying to sell me new AC. If your looking for the job to be done right or if you want to weigh all the options, look no further. They have gained my complete trust and I have got my go to hvac guys. They should be proud of how they run their business.

Surveyed the situation up in the attic and determined that condensation was building up on duct work and leaked through the insulation and created a small wet spot on the dry wall ceiling. I had already put a catch pan under the duct to catch anything more. It was suggested that the duct should be re-wrapped when they come back in December to perform the winter maintenance.

John is a man that I trust to do a thorough and comprehensive job in a very professional manner, yet is very easy to talk to. I always feel like my HVAC is well taken care of.

My landlord called the company yesterday about fixing my gas leak, and they scheduled me in today 9am-12pm, which was great. This morning, John gave me a 25-min. heads up that he was on his way, which was really helpful. John was very friendly and let me know what he had to do to get the job done, which included making a couple of phone calls, which he did on-site. He also had to leave and come back with parts to fix the leak, which he did promptly. As he was finishing up, he suggested I contact the gas company to have them come over to turn the gas back on and check that all was OK, which I did. As he was leaving, the gas guy showed up; so John stayed and collaborated with him to make sure everything was up to par. John even called me a couple hours later to see if my heat was working. Wow. Thus, I would highly recommend this company!

Id give 10 stars if I could! I had an issue with my unit leaking and had a terrible experience with the last company. Authorized came out right away and properly diagnosed the problem, provided a temporary fix to slow down the issue and then did a phenomenal job fixing everything. Just had to replace an older HVAC system for my residence. From Luis, my technician, to Matt the salesperson, and the installers; the process was efficient and professional. Luis was spot on in his recommendations and Matt provided more in depth explanations and offered a few more options. Our house, which is 20 years old, has some issues. Particularly in regards to the HVAC system. The returns were not optimally placed, nor were they sized correctly. Matt spent the time needed to gather all the information that he needed to ensure the new system would operate optimally with enlarged returns and duct work.
