IDK how big of a purchase one has to make for company to care. I guess 7k is nothing for them. Repairs on a brand new ring take forever, repairs seem to be done by someone in their basement during their free time with a soldering iron. Sales people dont care about any issues after the final sale.
I always trust Kay Jewelers to know the best for my jewelry and get the best results. They have taken care of my jewelry for a long time and I cant wait to see how my grandmothers engagement band will be sized to fit me for my wedding!
My wife and I walked in to see about getting new bands to celebrate 25 years and didnt get a hello and the next customers that walked in behind us not only received a hello but the full attention of the sales person. Sadly the other couple was window shopping, just felt disgusted in left.

I needed help with a custom ring order and I kept having to call in and stop in at the store because nobody was giving me updates like they said they would and always acted like they had no idea what was going on with my order. This is not the first problem I’ve had at Kay’s and I do not feel this location gives quality customer service.

Always had a great experience until my last visit. Had my wife rings inspected by a very nice and helpful young lady. She informed me that the ring had a chipped diamond and the warranty will cover it. The manager then stepped in and yelled at the employee and asked her if she was sure that the ring had a chip and demanded the ring from her. The manager then looked over the ring and barked I dont see a chip. The nice young girl informed her where the chip was located and the manager said oh I see, its just so small. The manager then told me my warranty was void and couldnt fix it. I was dumbfounded because I have my rings inspected every 6 months. I questioned her as to why it was void. She preceded to yell at me the customer saying she was only filling in today and didnt want to be the manager and she didnt even want to be there today...wow...I left and went to another kay jewlers location and they preceded to fix the ring provide me the great service I was use to from this company. Stay away from the Westmoreland mall location when this lady is working.
