My fiancé went to get her ring cleaned before our wedding in a few days. The sales clerk was not pleasant in any way. So she dropped her ring off and I came back to buy those Wonder Woman earrings without my fiancé knowing. The clerk was again rather rude in that undercover way. I’m from Ky and the sales there closed. I can understand why if service is similar. To top it off when my fiancé came back to pick up her ring it didn’t look like it had been cleaned. So my fiancé hand cleaned once she got home and the amount of tarnish she pulled off was ridiculous considering it had “just” been cleaned. Overall horrible experience. Only thing good was the Wonder Woman earrings... all well. It’s sad that good companies are going out of business most likely from the experience created by the staff and not the products.
My husbands wedding band shattered into pieces while he was at work. We took the warranty paperwork along with the remains of the ring and we ordered a replacement. The ring came a couple weeks later but was not rose gold like we had ordered. So then we had to get it reordered and wait another couple of weeks for it. My husband trusted that they had ordered the right finish this time. He took the ring and went on his way. A couple of days passed by and I looked at his ring and told him that it still wasnt rose gold. He took the ring back and told them that it wasnt rose gold and he did not get a pleasant response from the zales employee. She trird to tell my husband it was rose gold until she actually compared it to a ring that was rose gold. Then she went on to blame my husband for it not being rose gold. She asked him if he uses hand sanitizer. He said, Well of course I do. She then precedes to tell my husband that the hand sanitizer took the rose gold off of the ring. (I work in healthcare and use hand sanitizer several times per day. My rings are still rose gold.) My husband said, Well I dont think hand sanitizer would do that but if it did, I dont want your cheaply made jewelry then. He asked for a refund and had to jump through hoops to get it.

The employees are hit or miss. Sometimes we go in and theyre friendly, other times not so much. Rose in Altoona Zales helped us before it closed and she went above and beyond. Not sure if she ended up transferring to this one or not, but she is the greatest.
Debby was beyond helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable! My budget was pretty low, and she was respected that. Plus, they were able to have my ring sized and back to me just in time for the Holiday. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you, Debby!
My now-husband and I LOVE this Zales and have had no reason to shop anywhere else. We purchased the engagement ring from Debbie and got an incredible deal (and we are both is sales, so we know how it goes). The ring is gorgeous and they take excellent care in cleaning it and will literally wave me down from walking by and ask me if I want to have it cleaned. And theyre not pushy, they listen to what you like and dont like and are always happy to help.
My fiancé bought my wedding band on their website during a black Friday sale. Great price but when we got the ring it was obvious someone messed up. The photo and description of the ring clearly stated it was supposed to be “white gold with rose rhodium”. We got it because it matched my fiancé’s ring. Well when we opened the box there was no rose anything anywhere, it was just silver and even looked dirty. We took it straight to the store to return it and the woman from customer service even said she ordered a birthstone ring from them and returned it THREE TIMES and every time she got back a ring with the incorrect birthstone. She said this happened because the online inventory is located elsewhere and not 5e same as the store inventory, which I do understand. You would think somewhere in the production process someone would say “Gee does this match the order?” I don’t know how they can send these out and expect people to be happy with them when it’s CLEARLY NOT what the customer ordered. Considering the issues she had, I didn’t think it was worth messing with and she was able to just return it and give us a refund. Two stars because she worked with us well and we didn’t have much hassle in the process.
We went picked out a ring. I have good credit my fiance has horrible so i made the account. the ladys there said they will call my fiance when it comes even wrote down his number and said call Brandon so it would be a surprise. they even handed him the receipt that says what day it should get there so I wouldnt know. he hid this paper from me... just for them to freaking call ME!! I told the lady you werent suppose to call me thanks for ruining it..well he goes picks up the ring tells the ladys that helped us that they called me and not him so then they lied and said we never said we were going to call you its her account..So thanks for being lying a-holes and ruining the surprise.
