Chris was an absolute angel. I was traveling from my home in Eastern NC to the Mountains and ran something over on 40 in Greensboro. I had gotten everything out to change the tire myself when Chris pulls up, unsolicited. When the roll up door of his truck opened, my mouth dropped. He had a floor jack and impact gun out and in 5 seconds flat my tire was changed. He would not take any payment, even though he was a god send to me! Highly recommend, seems like a stand up guy!

Man Im am very impressed not only with the setup like no other mobile service has but the quality of repair on the suspension work these guys did is bar none the best around and the best price ... Over half of cost that was quoted through NTB or Firestone..... Will be spreading the word but these guys stay very busy and thats cause of the honesty and quality thats provided through Brakemaster Mobile..... They charged 40 to come out to diagnose it but it was applied to the repair and the parts was given to me with their high discount .. no shop will do that !!

Car battery died at work the day before and I had to leave it stranded for the night. He met me at my job site at the exact time I asked without me even having to call to remind him. Used Brakemaster for the first time today to have the master and slave cylinder replaced in my Accord. Ill definitely be calling them again the next time Im in need of a mechanic! I had them come out to change the Right Front Wheel Barring and CV Axel on my 2004 Toyota Camry. My husband knew how to do it, but didn’t have the tools to press the barring in. After I called around to a few shops and was quoted around $800 several times I knew I had to try to find a cheaper way. This service came out and didn’t the work for A LOT LESS then I was originally afraid we’d have to pay. They did the work quickly and right. I read a lot of reviews (and had a few bad experiences) before reaching out to Chris. The reviews saying he is rude do not take into account that he is busy and efficient. Keep that in mind and respect his time and he’s got you!I was told that my head gasket was gone and I needed a new engine (in an old beater I haven’t had for long). Chris came out and fixed it for a great price (part at cost plus reasonable labor charge).He didn’t try to put more into it than my car needs, or I can afford. I also asked him to look at my roommates Volvo and he was very honest about what he won’t work on (specialized tools are needed).This company was such a breath of fresh air and after 3.5 years in Greensboro I feel like I can finally say I know a mechanic that I can trust!

These guys are the real deal...they come right to your driveway and do prompt work and dont rip you off. I saved over $1,000 by using them instead of the dealer. There was no need to replace and entire control arm and they did if for a fraction of what it would have cost. They are my go to for auto repair.

I have. 2007 Volvo XC90. I called Brakemaster and they came to where my car was and found the problem and fixed it quicker and a whole lot cheaper than they would at the dealership where I normally take it. Will definitely call them again when I need a mechanic.

I contacted brakemaster about a week ago for work on my car. My car needed a crankshaft position sensor. I spoke to him on several occasions and he told me $100 for the job.I also needed my belts changed and he was charging me $50 for that. He came in today, my first doubt was when he was confused about the part having two ends, shouldnt he know more about car parts. He worked on the car for an hour and calls me to say, he has to hike up the price to $400. The job will take longer, despite the fact he was totally aware of everything wrong before hand. I told him i couldnt afford it and he just up and left, HE DIDNT PUT ANY OF THE PARTS HE HAD REMOVED BACK IN THE CAR!!!. He never called to say he was leaving, he left my car keys and $200 worth of parts in the car. I have no issue with him not wanting to do the job, but why not put my car back how he found it. The belts he already removed were on the floor of the car. There were bolts everywhere. Some of them I had to pick up from outside the car on the street! It is just professionalism to live the car how it was. I had to immediately find another mechanic, who did the work for $200 and actually put new bolts in my car because the brakemaster had misplaced most of them. The job took the new mechanic half the time is brakemaster had quoted to me. These people are rude and do awful business. Order their services at your own risk. There are many capable mechanics in the area.

I have an old car thats been modified a lot, and they quickly discerned what was wrong and fixed it without the usual well you need whole brakelines/system, etc. They were super fast and efficient, even sprayed brake cleaner when they were done! And it only cost $80 total for him to come to me and do the job. He has a fully equipped van, and is prepared for anything. They were very professional, honest and friendly on the phone and in person. I highly recommend them!

THE REVIEW DONE BY......( J M ).......( jazzmire mccain)...Is from a customer that her boyfriend tried to install a starter on her car, he didnt tighten all the bolts up and ruined the starter by breaking the teeth off the starter.......they called chris...he drove to winston from greensboro, took the starter off the car and took it to oreillys and got them a new starter for FREE! on his good name as a company who does lots of business with them (which by the way he didnt have to do, but he was trying to help this lady out as much as possible), came back with new starter and installed the new starter, but informed J M that she needed a BATTERY also, but she wasnt trying to hear that so she test drove the car, and paid for his services.......a week later she drove the car to greensboro, (still no new battery) and when she came out of a store the car was dead and the battery was done, (((she called chris at 930 PM ON A SUNDAY NIGHT!!)) at night and demanded he come there right now and fix her car, well as she stated, yes he was at the movies on a date at 930 PM!!, and he told her where he was and said he would be there first thing in the morning, but this girl thought she had some special entitlement over his business and once again demanded he come there asap, and when she saw he wasnt she had the car towed to a shop where they installed a new battery the next day and of course tried to get her for more money, so she has come on here and done a bad review and had 4 of her friends write reviews who has never met chris or had any work done by him, the names are......KEYONA GRANT......VERNON COWARD.......JESSE JACKSON JR.....hows that for a fake name..lol......AND TEMPEST HALL, also a fake name...........he told her his business hours are mon-fri-8-5 but that was not good enough, so keep this in mind and read the other REAL REVIEWS and let Chris save you a ton of money like he has 1000s of others in the triad......he asked me to write this cause every time he tries to write a review to dispute this review on his own google page, it is taken off by google, hopefully this will stay up and you are informed of the situation . thanks for reading and please read all the other reviews and he has over 4000 references to be called if needed.

I called The BrakeMaster @ 9:00am. Chris and his technician were at my home within 1hour, replaced my starter with a lifetime warranted part, and my car was running by 11:30pm. He also charged $50 less than I was quoted by another mechanic. Thanks Chris! Such a hassle free experience.·

I wish I could give this business zero stars! I enlisted Brake Master Mobile to fix the starter on my car about a week ago and since then have had more issues with the starter in addition to issues with my battery. Ive had to pay another shop to fix Chris errors because he wasnt available to look at the car (although his ad says to call anytime and he claimed to me that he offers a lifetime warranty on his services) because he was on a date! Thats literally what he told us. After paying over 300+ to get my car fixed AGAIN, I called Chris to talk about this to discuss a full or partial refund. He refused to even talk about it stating it wasnt his fault and once I asked him for his business address so that I could take it to smalls claim court, he refused to give it to me and hung up on me! PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN. He was highly unprofessional and provided POOR customer service from my first encounter with him to the last. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!Update 07/23/16: The review posted under the pseudonym Tony Haynes is an example of Mr. Chris Kinyouns unprofessionalism. It also eludes to dishonesty, as in this post he gave his own business a five star rating under a name that is not his, which makes it questionable as to whether the other reviews can indeed be trusted. This man hung up on me, after 5 minutes, as I was trying to talk to him about resolving this issue and did not respond to my messages stating that I was just trying to come to the simplest resolution, only to post under my review and refute my claims. I found Chriss company on Craigslist and it could not have been any easier. He was very prompt in getting back to me (within an hour) and scheduled for the next morning to fix my starter and troubleshoot some other problems which prevented my car to start. All in all the diagnoais, a trip he made to the autopart store, replacing the starter and fixing the other poblems, in the end took about a hour and a half. Excellent service and great experience.

I have an old car thats been modified a lot, and they quickly discerned what was wrong and fixed it without the usual well you need whole brakelines/system, etc. They were super fast and efficient, even sprayed brake cleaner when they were done! And it only cost $80 total for him to come to me and do the job. He has a fully equipped van, and is prepared for anything. They were very professional, honest and friendly on the phone and in person. I highly recommend them!

Complete liars. Do not fix cars and dont come when they say they are. Will never contact them again. And my car still doesnt run!
