The guys in back did a great job, the mattress is top quality and fits perfectly. The checkout was easy and they even loaded the mattress for me while I spoke with one of the managers. I had called and asked questions a couple times. I went to the store and Glenn was available immediately. He was helpful and explained the types of mattresses. I was not looking for anything high end as I was making a purchase for very occasional company, and most likely it would be children who would use these beds. I dont like pushy sales and this was very low key. I made my decision, paid, and have FREE delivery all set up. They will call the night before to give me a better time frame. The prices I was quoted on the phone were honored. Im very pleased with my experience at Verlo.

Was told 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. Called 3 and a half weeks in And was told it was four weeks. Call to five weeks in and was told rather rudely that I was informed when I purchased it that it would be six weeks, which I im fact was not. I have two witnesses who can vouch for that because they were there when I purchased it. The rudeness I received when I called merely to find out the status is the worst part of the experience.
Updated 6/19/2020Five Stars. We could not be more impressed with Jeff and his team’s commitment to getting things right. After 2nd delivery the bed came back laying as it should on the box foundations. No more ridge and firmness we expected. To top it off Jeff is personally delivering a pillow to me today that we were waiting on as it was back ordered.Updated 6/11/2020Jeff the owner of the store came to my house to inspect the mattress. Agreed that it was still not correct. They are picking it up again next week to get it fixed. He is committed to getting it right and to the best possible standard and will be overseeing the process from now on.Great follow up and looking forward to final outcome.My wife and I just purchased the V9 king size bed. Top tier bed. Upon delivery there was a noticeable elevated ridge running through the middle of the mattress. Thought it just need to lay flat. Still their after 30 days and the bed is showing noticeable body impressions on either side. Verlo did pick up the bed today to fix the problem. Unfortunately upon return delivery the ridge still exists and it seems like the mattress was barely touched. We have had no follow up from our salesperson or the manager I spoke with who scheduled the pick up and “repair”.Really expected more from their top line mattress. We were excited to support a local company during the Covid situation, unfortunately we are now feeling we may have made a mistake.
Wonderful company! We received excellent customer service & loved learning about how this company does mattresses differently (made to order, made there at the store/Green Bay!!, will make alterations/customizations after purchase). Will gladly recommend them to anyone we know.

We visited Verlo during the tent sale on Labor day weekend. My husband and I purchased a mattress (Sunday) and was told it would be delivered the following Saturday (9/7/19). The experience was great. We both like the salesman, he was very knowledgeable and not pushy, which is exactly what we wanted. Come Saturday 9/7/19, my husband cleaned out our bedroom, moved the bed and mattress all in preparation for our delivery. Around 12:30 p.m. I called Verlo as I had not heard an estimated time the mattress would be delivered. I was informed that the salesman marked our mattress to be delivered for 10/12/19! Obviously, I was upset as we just tore our room apart in preparation for the mattress. The person I spoke with did reschedule me to Tuesday 9/10/19 for after 6 p.m., since this was their error, which I appreciate, but he also said he was going to talk to the original salesman and see what could be done. I assumed this would lead to, at the very least, an apology call. I received nothing. This is very disheartening. This mattress was expensive. I guess I expected more for the price we paid for the mattress. I hope everything goes well tomorrow. Moral of the story, double check your receipt to ensure the date is correct.UPDATE: I just spoke with the salesman. He was not notified I called as he was off Saturday. He did make this right. I am happy with the service we received and the outcome. Thanks Verlo!
Updated 8/25/20: Jeff came to my house to inspect the matress and explained why it didn’t feel like the matress from the showroom. He had the matress picked up and fixed to our specifications. They returned it the same day. Now it feels like every other Verlo matress I’ve purchased (5 of them). High quality! Great customer service too. Thank you.Previous review:I purchased a queen V5 pillow top on 8/25/18. It was an “enhanced soft model” and I asked that they make it even softer. The bed was delivered on 8/31 and it wasn’t really what I expected but I gave it some time.One year later I called Verlo to see if they could make it even softer. Customer service was good - they came and picked it up, made it softer, and returned it the same day. No charge.It’s been two years now and I feel like I have lived with this matress long enough to write a knowledgeable review.My advice - save your money and don’t buy a V5. I bought a twin V1 pillowtop for my son and it is much more comfortable (4 stars). I’m almost tempted to cut the V5 open to see if it’s truly what they claim it is... but $1400 is a steep price to pay for that experiment.

Love this place!! We bought a used 1994 Challenger 5th wheel travel trailer last fall and placed it on a permanent site at the Peshtigo River Campground in Crivitz. We threw out the used mattress and box spring. After many of the Covid 19 restrictions were lifted, we visited them with the dimensions we needed for a new mattress set. We tried out several, and found one in our price range, and Verlo made it to our size. We ran into a problem when the box spring wouldnt fit into the bedroom of the trailer, but the guys cheerfully took it back to Green Bay, where they trimmed 4 inches off it and restitched it and wrapped it in plastic for free. Greg and the crew were fantastic, and we are so pleased with the mattress set and the excellent customer service. If you need custom mattress sets for home or your RV, dont hesitate to call them.

Their customer service is beyond exceptional.i have never had any complaints here. If you are looking for a bed stop here to look they make the beds in store, and are willing to help in any way possible. The even had a showroom model that was 2700 marked down to 1000, because they had a new model.

Very Good Customer Service. They are very patient and take the time to try to get your mattress exactly as you would like it. The delivery drivers are very friendly as well. I had some difficulty getting my mattress just right but we have finally found the mattress that works for me. The Owner of this store is quite generous as well in trying to help you find and build your perfect mattress.
Do not listen to Hal Kitzmiller and get your mattress from the Lumbar Yard, unless your also interested in swimming in the East River in NYC with Kramer to alleviate your back problems. Avoid getting your mattress from the same store that sells 2x4s and paint or from the other real mattress store with the cheesy name that seems to be on every corner. Instead go to a Wisconsin based company in which a franchise is locally owned and operated and your mattress is made right in-house and delivered to your door. They have top notch customer service, knowledgeable sales staff and low overhead that seemingly allows them to pass the savings onto customers while providing a wonderful mattress. Save 100s or even 1,000s of dollars and visit Verlo of Green Bay. Thanks for the custom mattress and quick turnaround. A+ all around. Finally according to Hal Kitzmiller, avoid park benches, they are bad for your back.
Best mattress quality. The staff is awesome and they know the products. Their computer system keeps your information so when you have an issue or its time to buy again you dont have to answer the questions all over again. We shop around and then always go back to Verlo.
I have bought many mattresses from Vernon and other stores in the area. Berlon by far has the best service. We moved this past week end and the mattress memory foam shifted. The movers dropped it off at 5 pm Friday night and I got it back from them at 10 am on Monday. Outstanding job and no fee!

We have been working with the Green Bay store for several years now. Each year a child goes off to college we purchase a new futon for the move. In a move home this spring we lost half the hardware for one of the futons.I stopped in at the GB store this week to see if I could purchase new hardware. Within a matter of minutes their staff happily scrounged up the parts that I needed. That is my idea of customer service!We also have a regular Verlo matress that was purchased over 5 years ago and it is holding up nicely.
We were in today and Ryan assisted us. Answered any questions we had. Our current mattress is a verlo and we love it, but is old and needs to be replaced. We will be back in to purchase our next mattress next week. Will do another review when we order and receive our new mattress. Thank You Ryan for your time and assistance!
The salesman was easy to talk to, no pressure. Gave us plenty of time to check out the mattresses. After we decided which one we liked he explained how it was made and showed us more of the same that cost less or more. Then gave us more time to check the other ones out before chosing one. Hope the mattres is as good as the sales experience.

Was in about 2 weeks ago. Employees said hi. Never talked to us again. They were more interested in the football game (wasnt even the Packer game) and not really interested in helping the only customers in the store or even trying to sell the merchandise.That was my first & last visit to the store. I will be buying from a different local business, as their employees wanted to talk with their customers and not watch a football game.

Back in about 2008, I went to Verlo with a request. For years, what I have found is that almost all mattresses, even the best and most expensive ones, eventually sag in the middle and often do so alarmingly quickly. With my back problem, even a very mild sag is a problem and immediately noticed by me. Putting 3/4 inch plywood under the mattress and not using a box spring helps to delay the inevitable, but it is still frustrating how quickly a brand new mattress becomes a problem.As a result, I went to Verlo and made a proposal to one of their mattress engineers (not sure if that is their actual title, but they demonstrated to me that they take the art and science of mattress fabrication as seriously as any engineer approaches their work). I wanted them to design and build a special mattress for me that had a much greater number and strength of springs in the central part of the mattress than at the two ends. We discussed the pros and cons of this and multiple relevant design elements. They expressed concern that such a design might be very likely to lead to an exceptionally firm mattress that may even prove to be unsuitable for my particular needs. I appreciated their concern but still wanted to proceed with the proposed design. They agreed and we agreed upon a price that I felt was extremely fair given the special customizing that I was seeking. But clearly it did at Verlo. They built the mattress, I paid for it, and took it home. As I hoped, it was perfect for my back. But I also have a neuropathy in my right arm and under certain rare circumstances, my arm will go numb when I am sleeping. Within a week of using the bed, this was happening almost every night. Clearly, I was not going to be able to use the bed as it was. I sheepishly called them back and explained the situation. I expected them to say that they told me so, that the deal was final, and that was that. Instead, I got a call back from that same engineer guy (I wish I could remember his name). He very kindly listened to my situation in detail. At the end of our conversation, he recommended that I bring the bed back. We considered ways that we could somehow fix the problem. In the end, we agreed to open the mattress back up and insert thick internal mattress padding and reseal it without altering the spring design at all. We agreed that I would pay for the material cost of the padding but he refused to charge me any additional fee for the extra labor to do all of this even though it was clearly not Verlos fault that the bed did not meet my need. They did the work and I took the bed home. I have slept on that mattress more than 90% of the nights since I bought it and the mattress performs every bit as well in 2016 as it did the day that I bought it. For my body, this is the absolutely perfect bed. Within a month of getting it home the second time, I had complete resolution of the arm numbness and it still worked perfectly for my back. Plus, it was now super comfortable. After years of dealing with bedding problems that were now gone, I was thrilled ! I went back to Verlo and gave them an additional $150 because I was so pleased with how they handled the situation and how well the bed was performing. It took considerable convincing for them to accept the additional money and they finally took it more because I think they were afraid I would be insulted if they did not.I cannot say enough good things about the experience that I had with Verlo. If you have unique body circumstances that demand specialized bedding that can have a huge positive impact on your quality of life, effectiveness at work, and comfort, then I do not think you will find a better place that will honestly get to the bottom of your need, design an ideal bed for you, and do so for a fair price and with excellent service. If I could give 6 stars out of 5 to Verlo, I would do so. In a world of nearly pure mass production, thanks to Verlo for still giving the customer the option of meeting his or her special needs on an individual basis.
