Install people were on time and friendly. Also the electrician wasquick with what he needed to do. Install went without any problemsand did not take that long. I am very pleased with the whole purchaseand install. I would recommend A1 to anyone asking.

Weve used A-1 Heating and Air Conditioning both for general maintenance of our cooling/heating systems and for repairs. Their technicians are professional, friendly, and helpful. I know them to be trustworthy, too. We had a thermostat seemingly go dead, and had them out to replace it. It turned out that there was a battery back--up on the thermostat, and that was what was out. A battery replacement was the fix . . . demonstrating that A-1 put the customer first and not the opportunity to profit from our not-knowing!

AC conked out overnight.I called around and was not able to get anyone to come out same day or same week in most cases except for A-1.They were very prompt in setting up an appointment. They gave me a time window in which they would arrive which they made on the early end. The technician Aaron kept me informed of his ETA.Aaron was extremely professional explained everything he was doing precisely. He even cleaned out some parts he wasnt working on for us.I would definitely be using them again if need be.

We had Lighten Up Plumbing, Heating install a new furnace and A.C., they fell far short of doing the job they were hired for. Our A.C. wasnt working correctly, we tried & tried to communicate with Lighten Up, they never cared and certainly had no integrity or concern for our situation. So after suffering intense heat for a couple weeks, we finally called in A-1 Heating & Air.Within 3 minutes Thomas found that Lighten Up had not completed the installation they were paid for, by not even wiring the A.C. unit at either end. So basically we were simply circulating the air around the house with NO COOL AIR involved.Thomas said a few time, I cant believe they did this to you.Anyway, in a short time Thomas from A-1 completed the A.C. install and our house actually started to cool immediately. Thank you so much Thomas, my wifes nerve condition is doing much better now. We will call you folks for all our heating and cooling issues from now on, thank you. Michael

Furnace went out. Been on the fritz for a few years. They quoted quickly and could install new furnace and a/c unit pretty much immediately. The guys called when they were on the way. I got them situated and they worked 10 hours to get everything installed and working. New furnace is great and thermostat as well. Hard working crew. Cleaned up when they left. They did a nice job.

I called A-1 Heating & Air Conditioning Services (And 2 other companies to compare prices) to replace my furnace and air conditioning unit. They came the next day to give me a free estimate - which I received later that day via email. The estimate included 3 options with different levels of units based on their energy efficiency, along with a Cash discount option and 2 finance options. I decided to see if I could qualify for one of the financing options and Slade took my information over the phone and submitted it to the finance company for me. I was approved and they installed the units a few days later. Very impressed with the quality of the service that they provided and I would not suggest they change a thing about how they operate their business. I would Highly recommend them.(As for the 2 other companies - they were scheduled to come out to give me estimates the day after A-1 installed my units and I called all 3 on the same day.)

I recently bought a home that was only using a minni split system for heating and cooling. After having 3 hvac companies come look at it, A1 heating and air gave me the most straight forward answers with no fluff. They helped fix the issues I was having with the heat pump, but due to the unreliable aspects of the heat pump and heat that it produces they also gave me a quote to install a furnace and a tankless water heater along with all the duck work. it definitely made a huge difference to get this all installed and was a huge project. They did a fantastic job, in a timely fashion and are all very professional and communicate well. I would strongly recommend A1 heating and air.

A-1 has always been Fantastic to do business with. We got our central A/C system installed by them and they evwn came out to inspect it when things werent working right. What a great experience we had with A-1. Our furnace was over 25 years old, and our A/C was installed in 1978!!! Both needed to be replaced. Fantastic job installing our new furnace and A/C units. They were quick to come out when we found out the furnace gave up and quickly diagnosed the problem. Recognizing the age of the furnace, they gave us options and things to consider. They did not pressure us one way or another, but allowed us to make our own decision. After reviewing our options we decided a new system would probably pay for itself and decided to go new. The showed up the next day, professional, courteous and set up our home putting down protection for our hard wood floors, tile floors and carpeting. The crew worked quickly and efficiently. Between the guys that showed up and the owner working with them, they were able to complete replacing both the furnace and A/C unit, show us how to operate everything and told us to call if we had any questions or concerns. Considering the cost of replacing both, we were so happy with the result and a warm home. I have a rental AC that stopped working and another with a pretty old furnace I needed inspected to make sure it worked, was clean and was safe at its age.The tech name was Aaron. He communicated well and called me 30 minutes before he arrived. Worked well with my renters and kept them informed of any findings. Called me when the work was done to let me know causes, issues and reports of the work. Work was done in a timely manner.Cost wise falls in the middle not the cheapest not the most expensive either. Will go to again in the future for any HVAC needs. Favorite part is excellent communication which is great when I can not be on site to meet someone.

The A-1 Heating and Air Conditioning staff do a great job servicing our furnace and AC units. To access our furnace units they must remove a few ceiling tiles to reach them in the above crawl space. They always do a good job cleaning whatever debris is created. Give these guys a try.

Very fast and efficient. Showed up early to both appointments. Our service technician Thomas was very knowledgeable and professional. Great service and really afforadable. Paid 600 for a new motor, 12 amp fuse, diagnostic, and he even did a free tune up. Will definitely call them again if needed.

A1 did an excellent job on our furnace and ac replacement after our old unit failed. The new unit also seems to be keeping the temp better regulated and the filter already looks filthy indicating it is doing its job unlike the last setup. Slade has been our furnace repair man for the past several years. My husband and I could not be more pleased. He ALWAYS comes immediately when we call -even giving us his cell number in case we had an problem after a particularly large repair. He knows us and our family and is always very professional and efficient. He always spends time trying to explain the repairs that are needed and we have never had to wait for repairs to be performed. On this particular occasion, he upgraded the unit he repaired but actually found us a discounted part saving us a few hundred dollars. Slade has never disappointed us!

I needed a new central air unit and this company went above and beyond my expectations! They ended up needing to do quite a bit of extra work unexpectedly since the western company who originally installed all the lines did a horrible job and had to be redone. A-1 did the extra work without additional charges and were very professional and nice. I highly recommend them and will only use them in the future.

A-1 is listed as a Heil Furnace Repair expert, and they have always been my go to repair company. In January, I was having problems with my Heil and Brent came out to look at it. He said it needed a special gauge that he didnt know if they had, but he would get one. I called A-1 twice to see about them coming back and never heard back. Its been two months...Luckily the furnace will work if the fan stays on.

I understand the service charge, but the cost $378.00 GOODMAN FURNACE CONTROL BOARD B1809913S which can be purchased for $125, I find that a bit of a rip off. For that reason I would not recommend you to anyone,
