Prices are high and they have political stuff posted *everywhere*. Im of the opinion that at work, you dont talk politics or religion except where it directly influences the transaction, as it is unprofessional.But the sales guy was friendly enough and the inventory is okay, I suppose. Some of their prices on used rifles are truly eye-opening. I mean, I saw a mosin-nagant m91/30 for something like $500.I try to stick with local shops, but I think Im going to have to stick with the big sporting goods stores going forward.

Ive been in many times over the past few years. They have a smaller selection of firearms but the website offers more options. Lots of AR15 parts and magazines. Ive had them install a free float rail system without any issue.

My Hispanic husband, his Hispanic friend & I started the day off looking to buy a firearm at scheels today. Unfortunately we experienced first hand appallingly rude customer service. They stood in the gun section for 20+ minutes, asked to be serviced several times, even asked to purchase a specific gun & nobody came to their assistance. We left angry, upset & disappointed. In today’s climate you’d think that these employees of big company’s would know better. Instead, we went to Mitchell’s supply & were warmly welcomed by kind & courteous people. We got assistance immediately, were greeted promptly & walked away happy with a firearm today. Wayne was incredibly helpful, kind & a great example of what customer service should be like. Thank you for being a drop of graciousness after this morning’s frustrating beginning.

Every time I come in, it is a wonderful experience. Everyone is always happy to assist in whatever questions I might have. The staff has always been super helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend anyone who is looking for something to check here first. whether it be to purchase, information, training classes, etc.

Ive bought, sold and traded with Jim and Wayne on several occasions and have always been treated very fairly! They have worked on a couple of my rifles as well and were fast (as in same day turn around!) and very reasonably priced. Thanks guys, keep up the good work!

I didnt buy anything here, but used them as an FFL to ship some firearms to Alaska for my drive through Canada. I came in here last summer, and have to give them a good rating for their service. Theyre really easy to work with, and did exactly what I asked. I left some ammo at their store that I couldnt take with me, and they said they would hold onto it for me. When we drove back through from Alaska we got in sort of late, and the store was closed by then. The employee working that night said he would open the store back up to give me my ammo back which was a nice gesture. Great people in this place! If I ever come through Great Falls again, Ill definitely stop by!

I would like to start out saying these are some of the friendliest people you would ever meet. Ive laughed and joked with these guys right off the bat. If you are a introvert its probably not the place for you. Jim is the best on trade ins here in Great falls. When purchasing a firearm his prices are pretty dam good. Im glad that I can spend my money at a local business and I will continue to support Mitchells Supply.

Ive been here a few times to look at guns, both on my own and with friends. Each time, the staff was very friendly, and answered all my questions (and then some!) without talking down to me.The prices are good, and the staff isnt pushy and is very straight forward with information.Ive purchased ammo from here a time or two, and I defiantly plan to look here first for my next gun!

Best gun store in town, the staff always goes out of the way to help. Great used and surplus selection, as well as parts and ammo. One of the only class III dealers in Great Falls. Buy, sell and trade which is great, fair prices.

I have been too busy to properly take down my AR since it rode 2200 miles from GA. I dropped her off to have it cleaned and gone through. Very reasonably priced and knowledgeable staff. I would recommend to anyone. Mitchells will be my go to gun store!

The staff has always been friendly with me the few times Ive been in the store. Their prices, while not the lowest in the world, are certainly reasonable. The variety of what they carry is balanced with the market here in the local area. I have had them recommended to me by many other people and Ill recommend them to others myself.

Jim has always been outstanding. Selection, customer service and stock have always been top notch. Support local, stay away from Scheels and other big name outfits in town. This is the only place I get my guns, parts and ammo from. Dont pass it up!

Ive been shopping here for years, and this is by far the best gunstore in town. Unlike the chain stores, Jim pays fair prices on guns he buys, and he was the only place in town not to gouge when prices for ammo skyrocketed. He also cares about his customers, and will bend over backwards for his regulars.

Best place to get your gun needs/wants in great falls. Friendly service and very helpful. Ill be back!

Not friendly or supportive.

Mitchells supply has the finest arminets of all kinds from historical arms to even modern arms as well. There ammo is priced reasonably good. There service is pretty well a shop worth checking for those of the advocate gun collectors and enthusiast.

Even though they specialize in modern sporting rifles, they are the best place to find surplus firearms. Good prices too.

Very poor service walked in looking for a rifle was not greeted until getting ready to leave, was then stopped and told the rifle I wanted could be looked up and ordered, so I waited to only be standing around waiting on this dealer who was not looking my rifle up, who was joking and showing movie clips to another customer, not only was my time wasted but I also felt disrespected I feel as if they didn’t think I had money or see me as important prices are high and they wil not see me or any of my close family members or friends there are much better deals and customer services out there

Great shop with a good selection of modern and older firearms as well as accessories. They charge $25 for FFL services.

Walked in for the first time to see what was available. The employee looked right at me and said not one word. Prices were high, so I went to leave. Employee once again made eye contact and said not one word. My email concerning this incident was ignored. I vote with me feet; theyll never see a dime out of me, and Ill deprecate them at every opportunity.
