I love Ulta. The only problem Im having is sampling the products. I know it is necessary to do what they are at this point, but Ill sure be glad when I can see the actual product on in the store! Their return policy is very good, but I really dislike taking things back to any store 😕!

Love Ulta they carry my favorite Ralph Loren perfume.

I am always greeted at the door with a smile. They ask if I need help and they are very knowledgeable about their products. My cashier today was Savannah and although everyone was great, she stood out to me because she helped me out and listened to what I wanted. Also, the guy at the MAC counter is absolutely fabulous and I will be back just to visit with him and get a makeover.

I will never shop at Ulta again because of an awful experience in the salon. When I booked the appointment, I was quoted $85 for the service requested & when I got to the salon, I agreed to 1 $20 upgrade. When the stylist finished, she handed me a ticket for $170! The color was not what I wanted & she refused to fix it!!!!

Went nervously in for a major cut and color, Beckey G was awesome!!! She was extremely friendly, professional and gave me exactly what I was wanting! I will definitely go back to her and would highly recommend!!!

Couldnt ask for better customer service than what I got from Richard Manthey. Very welcoming person. Richard helped me pick some outstanding products that I needed. Will definitely be back. Also was given a business card for an ulta makeover when covid restrictions are lifted. Great place.. Cant wait to go back...

My 1-stop shop for everything makeup, hair and skincare! They have some fabulous holiday gift sets right now as well. They are the only place in town that MAC makeup. They have all the high end stuff you want and the lower cost drugstore items as well. Best of both worlds. ULTA is the place to shop!!

Mariann was very helpful and knowledgeable! She greeted me when I came in the store where she was stationed at the Mac counter. I was already several aisles in (towards the back near the skincare products) when she came to check with me. I honestly loved that about her because it showed a genuine interest in my shopping experience. She asked me what I was shopping for and within seconds, she helped me to a chair at the Mac beauty stations, and started looking for products she would recommend and knew best fit my skin type. Every product I brought home, I was extremely happy with. We had a disabilities fundraiser we were attending that night, and I honestly felt the most beautiful with the makeup recommendations she made me. Thanks Mariann!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Waited for help to ask about making a hair appointment and ask questions. The lady just stared at me and continued doing other stuff. The rest of the employees seemed to busy talking to other employees to help as well. This is probably the most dysfunctional Ulta I’ve ever been to. Trust me they don’t even deserve one star do not waste your time.

Who wouldn’t love this store!! Prices here are reasonable to me they have high end products which you are going to pay for and then they have the lower end things that are better in price. I really like the variety in everything. My only complaint is the few times I have been in once I can track someone down to ask a question about mainly makeup they never have an answer or are not much help. I just wish they were more educated so when I am about to buy a 40 dollar mascara I know what to except on how it will preform etc.

After placing an order I realized there was an error in my shipping information. I contacted customer service promptly and was given NO help. Sai at the Mac counter is so sweet and knowledgeable. I don’t wear makeup that much and I feel weird going into cosmetic stores but she was really helpful she exposed me to new eye shade ranges and taught me some new eye techniques. Fun experience!

Legit the rudest ladies ever who work there. Stuck up (insert bad word). My mother, sister and I were all in there looking around. One lady helped. I wish I would have gotten her name. The rest stood around playing with their damn hair in the isle. Literally they stuck up their noses like customers were below them. Only reason I would go back is if I didnt want to wait for shipping on something! You got hired in a sales/customer service industry. Be nice and do your damn job!

Oh my Lord, would leave no stars if possible. I recently vacationed in Great Falls & had left my makeup bag at home; normally I would panic but i mapped that there was a trusted Ulta near by.When arriving in the store I was not welcomed in, instead i was watched like a hawk as if i was stealing every product i walked by, by this bald lady.. I wanna say her name was Kira or Kristy. Something w/ a K. She continued to follow me down the NYX aisle making me feel super uncomfortable (Trust me, I have plenty of $$ to splurge for what I came in for).After selecting an NYX eyebrow pencil, I approached the same lady to ask her to color match me w/ CC cream foundation. Bad idea. I quickly realized she had little to no make up knowledge. Lets just say she had my neck and face two COMPLETELY different colors.She also was very snobby & rude throughout my whole interactions/ checkout with her as if she was too good to talk to me, some customer service huh? During checkout she didnt ask if I wanted to use my points(which I have plenty because Im always shopping here) & when I asked if I could she said it was too late yet I hadnt even swiped my card.I was very shocked my experience here & have never received this kind of treatment from any other locations

I absolutely hate coming here. The prices are outrageous compared to online prices at other stores. Theres some girls that are very nice but most the staff is almost never friendly, you can usually find them huddled in a group gossiping. As soon as I walk in the door I feel judged and unwelcome. Ill continue to order my makeup online.

I have been to the new store in Great Falls 3 times. Different days of week and times of day. All 3 times the girls who were working were clustered together talking. One was too busy putting mascara on to help me. All 3 times the cashiers were rude. I gave them 3 chances...back to online from Sephora.

Knowledgeable staff in Clinique Department. Staff needs more training in mens scent department. The only 2 departments I visit as my wife shops here. For the most part, I like my visits here.

Came into this Ulta Saturday 2/17 to try a different location. The girl at the MAC counter was super sweet and helpful. Great selection too.

My experience was amazing this was the 2nd time ever that I’ve been in an Ulta I always feel uncomfortable in makeup stores but Saeh The MAC artist was extremely helpful and super knowledgeable she knew everything from makeup to skin to hair!! She did a complimentary lip demo on me and she knew exactly what colors complimented my skin tone!! I purchased a bunch of Mac and she actually taught me how to use it at home!! A week later and I’d say I love my makeup and have a general idea of how to apply it!

Whenever I go in there, the staff is always friendly and helpful. However, they are always over staffed and this leads to being asked if you need help every five minutes and it gets annoying if you just want to browse.

Terrible service. Extremely judgmental staff. Under terrible management, uneducated on product. Got rid of all of the knowledgeable employees. Overheard employees talking about politics, and “the wall” it was very disturbing I wish I would have gotten the names of the employees I remember asking to speak to a manager and the employee replied “I am a manager” called HR and gave a description of her appearance and hopefully they handle it and maybe check the millions cameras they have of our altercation.

My visit was to find a new foundation. After looking at several brands & totally confused, a sales specialist approached & asked if she could help. I explained what I was looking for & she made suggestion of different foundations. We tried the Mac brand & I love it. Thanks Ulta & to the young Mac specialist!

I shop here alot. Not all but Most of the employees Ive encountered are helpful and friendly. The only thing is i could be there less than 5 minutes and have already been asked 5 different times if Im finding everything ok which i understand because i have worked customer service but as a customer its too much. Makes me feel like they think Im stealing lol. Ive gone there enough by now for most of the ladies to realize i make purchases there fairly often but still maybe they are consistently over staffed that the asking if Im finding everything ok is still a bit much.

Look I understand the staff wants to be helpful, but I dont them to be asking my husband and I if we need help finding something every five minutes we are in there, we are looking, and one even rolled eyes, the staff here dont really know what they are doing when it comes to make up, trying to see about a foundation and the girl couldnt even figure out for my skin tone, I can figure it out on my own ...

Very disappointed with hair coloring. The person who did the work did not properly anticipate the possibilities and destroyed my kids hair. They did refund our money on a positive note.

Pretty disappointed in my recent shopping experience. I went in knowing exactly what I needed which was a Clinique face powder that I had previously purchased. My husband and I just arrived from going to dinner and I had to use the restroom immediately after entering the store. I asked the associate with a wig if they had a public restroom and she let me know where it was. After coming back out of the bathroom I went over to the Clinique station and couldnt remember my exact shade. I went up to the same associate and asked if she were able to look it up with my card info and she did. I went back over to the Clinique station and she almost escorted me over there which I thought was weird but didnt think anything. she complimented how cute my son was who was in his car seat and I said thanks and it got awkward cause she just continued to stand there. I picked up his seat and walked into the next aisle looking at eyeshadows and she proceeded to tell the other associate to keep an eye on me quietly and then said loudly yeah, I didnt want to say it out loud I was instantly so embarrassed. My most recent shopping experience I spent hundreds of dollars which she saw when pulling up my shade and thought I needed to be watched?! I have spent so much money at that store and have never felt like such scum until then. The associate she told to keep an eye on me proceeded to escort me through the entire store helping me find my eyebrow powder shade and stayed very close at all times until I was ready to check out. Luckily, I will be moving out of state and will not have to return to that store, but they have instantly lost my business at that location.

I have been a loyal customer of Ulta in other cities for years. The Great Falls store has lost my business although I doubt they care. What could have been a simple even exchange, changed my mind about how the company values their customers.

Salesperson was only interested in selling me on the more expensive brands and she had no interest in helping me with my specific skin care concerns. Also it was fairly obvious she was not all that knowledgeable about the products in the store. Couple that with the lack of any real savings off of the MSRP of the products and you end up with a very underwhelming experience. This chain has forever lost me as a customer. If you are going to charge close to full pop for something it may be a good idea to have exceptional sales people who are actually interested in helping your customers.

The only place in town for adorable name brand cosmetics..And GREAT services too!!

They have a variety of drugstore products to more prestige products (also body and hair products and clearance products etc.) and you can get haircuts to facials here!

This place has gone so down hill... They have so many new employees and they are very nasty and racist. They have one person of color working there in Clinique. The Mac girls are gone (they provided the best service) the bald “manager” is the rudest person I’ve ever encountered. I can’t ask any questions about anything, they never have an answer. I wish I could give less stars. I am a diamond member and I refuse to ever shop at this location, the service is worse than Helena and that says something. Sephora it is...

Okay, this is bit of a troll but I wonder if they dont have paper sacks beside the register to give to some women who they just couldnt help. And a sign posted beside the doors as you leave that say, thanks for trying.

Went into this location to buy products for myself and as soon as I asked someone for help locating something and they realized it was for me not a women I was completely dismissed. Should of guessed it seeing as it was an all white female staff, none of them even had makeup on anyways wouldn’t want their advice if they gave it

Its Ulta, so you can expect the prices to be generally high. The woman who checked me out that day seemed very rude when I tried to get some understanding of what my Ulta card was used for. Maybe because it was almost closing... 🤷

The customer service is here is great and Sai(MAC Counter) is by far my FAVORITE PERSON to deal with EVER. I absolutely love that shes so friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. Seeing her when I come in makes my day.

This place has really gone downhill since its opening last year. I went in about a week ago and nobody greeted me at the door. There were 3 girls standing behind the checkout counter laughing and talking. Im all for having fun at work, but dont ignore your customers. I walked the aisles for about 30 mins before anybody asked if I needed help. And when I looked for someone to ask, i couldnt find anybody besides the girl who was cashiering, the mac girl busy with a makeup client, and the girls in the salon. There were no floor walkers! When I went to ulta when they were newly opened, they used to give out samples at checkout for larger purchases and I loved this because 9 times out of 10 I ended up going back and buying a full size of one of the samples. Its a great way to discover new products. However, this time, my total came to $250 and I asked if they had any good samples and the girl said they dont do that anymore. Its very disappointing. I will no longer go to ulta unless I absolutely have to... it sucks because they are the only store in town who carries Estee Lauder.

On Saturday July 14 I went to Ulta in Great Falls.I walked in with a return I ordered on line.There was an employee stsnding behind the counter near the door texting, she did not greet me, ask if she could help me, or even acknowledge I was there. She actually turned her back on me and continued to text.After she texted she put her phone away still did not acknowledge me. She proceeded to walk off to the Clinique area and join the party that was going on.I needed assistance with Clinique Miss Texting still refuses to acknowledge me.I finally found what I needed on my own.Too bad Herbergers is going out of business.I refuse to go back to any Ulta location due to this extremely rude so called employee.I would rather wait and order on line from Clinique than drive across town and deal with legitimately rude employees.If I could leave less than one star I would.

Overpriced and majority of the staff are rather snooty... depending on how youre dressed you may get followed around or completely ignored.
