Home Depot has some great products, however their service is very spotty.Sometimes it can be good, however like this week, I ended up once again contacting store manager Kevin to help me with a carpet order.He is GREAT if you ever need help!!!However, it seems to me that ordering 12 feet of carpet should not need 5 phone calls AND then a call to a manager.I love the carpet I found & it was at a decent price. Just was a little difficult to finally purchase.

During my visit I tried to purchase both a drill set and some lumber. Upon arriving I was not greeted once and had been ignored by multiple staff while trying to get some help with cutting some wood from there. After 45 mins I walked out with nothing and felt unwanted the whole time I was in there and left without cut lumber or the tools I needed.

I just love the customer service there. I had a hard time deciding which Blower to buy. 2 workers came over and explained. I found them to be very helpful.

I went to look for countertops, flooring and cabinets. Steven was very nice and helpful but your better off to schedule an appointment because they are busy and cant really spend the time with you otherwise. They do try to answer your questions the best they can though.

Its not a bad hardware store! I got here often, so by no means is it bad.But the employees seem to flip flop...some days Ill go in, and get people to help me find the most hidden of products. Other days, I cant find a single employee. And more often then not, Ill get employees that cant be bothered.I tend to just use the app to navigate and find what I need, so its not too bad.

Customer service was excellent.I bought a portable air conditioner. I called to verify the BTUs for it. CS was very pleasant. My one complaint is It said it was 10,000 BTU/5,000 BTU. I wasnt sure which was correct. She said 10,000. Now that it is hot out and up and running. It feels like less than 10,000 BTU. Health wise I cant do without an ac so cant send this back because I cant afford to pay for a new one.

I went into the Great Falls Home Depot at the Fox Farm area yesterday. I was looking for a special screw for my curtain rods. I was asked by so many wonderful workers if they could help. They made my shopping much eiser. They helped in many in many ways. Its nice to see us seniors and younger in the stores . They know how to work. Will always shop there . I encourage whom ever needs something check at Home Depot here in Great Falls .

Wow....hard to articulate my experiences.... Not all HDs fault to be fair, but...wow. I shop there almost daily and it can be frustrating...not that anyone who has been there on even a semi annual basis wouldnt know. Not alot of competition unfortunately, so I endure.

Went during the middle of the day, place was surprisingly busy for the time. Looked at lumber but every 2x4x8 was cracked or split. Decided just to get paint for a project Im working on and the poor lady working that section was all alone. Even though she was slammed with customers she worked as quickly as she could and remained calm even when a few of the customers were rude and impatient with her.

Dont ask for help in the appliance sectionHe will block you from doing product installation services and persuade you to hire his friend Tom.I ordered the refrigerator and dishwasher 3 weeks ago, but I still havent received it and I changed my mind and tried to get an installation service, but they didnt allow me to change my order.Yes Yes he made sure I had to hire his friend.I dont know how to install a dishwasherBut I have no intention of hiring his friend Tom.I get stressed just thinking about what to do. Home Depot turned into a nightmare

I feel like this place is probably the best Home Depots Ive gone to. I feel like the employees are very educated there. Assuming they arent just new. I have gotten some wood there, some house repair stuff. Its overall is a good Home Depot.

Not sure why a home and garden center doesnt carry activated charcoal for water systems and gardening. Not like I can use what was in my Christmas sock as they are not the same but if a staff mis-informed me, I might re-purpose the Christmas coal! Overall, I enjoy the store and the staff are helpful...unless youre a houseplant and then you are infected with red spider mite.

Super place! My fave place to blow hundreds of dollars! Every time I go, I get waaaayyyy more help than I actually want, but that is much preferred to the alternative. Good prices, lumber is straight with minimal flaws. The staff know a lot about whatever project you may be working on, and I have not gotten bad advice yet.Oh, and this is the top of our designated dumping zone list. In all towns. Ginormous, clean bathrooms with good lighting and the toilets are just the right height.

I shop here at home Depot at least 2 to 3 times a week for a 24 unit complex that I manage and take care of and for the most part most of their employees are nice you can get the help you need

Most Home Depots are identical, this location is no different. And there are so many locations for a reason. Home Depot is a great place for anyone working on a diy project, or working in the construction or contracting sector. They almost always have the item Im looking for, and though they have great quality products, the cost is not cheap. But you get what you pay for. I do recommend Home Depot.

As a veteran I find it funny that the only way you give a discount on lumbar is if theres a Lowes across the street. Double standards isnt acceptable. I buy a lot of wood.

I had curbside pick up with some very heavy cabinets. The two guys from Home Depot were the nicest ever and made sure my load was secure. They even wished me a Merry Christmas. Kudos to those two hard working gentlemen.

They are 50/50on deliverance. Once I got the wrong paint color and didnt realize until half the outside of the house was painted, and I had to loose for their error. I think its a Montana thing. They run out of material often and it takes weeks for the restock. Their our best option for our area only option is 85 miles to Helena

Customer service here has gone down hill real bad. And their prices arent competitive any more. You have to chase down an employee for help. Ive only had 1 positive experience of the past 10 times Ive been there...

I dont know why I keep going to Home Depot they never have what I need. The people in the departments are hard to find and rarely know what theyre talking about. Thats why I go to Ace hardware they know what theyre talking about.

They have a rather large selection in each department plus a very friendly and helpful staff. Downside is they do get extremely busy at times.

Everyone knows Home Depot. State ordered mask mandate just lifted, lots of folks maskless.I did my research before I went. I wanted two items normally stocked and neither available. No staff available to answer questions so used Google. Aisles cluttered with product waiting to be shelved. Went to 4 other stores same day, all well staffed & stocked. This store cant seem to figure out how to staff & stock.

For the most part everyone here is very helpful and knowledgeable. Was surprised to find that some stuff was actually less expensive here than at Walmart! Overall my experiences here have been pretty good

Great prices but the only time they ask you if you need help us when you know exactly what you want and where it is. You can stand there with your arms out to the sides looking around like you are lost and they will avoid you at all costs! Customer service has definitely taken a dive there lately!

This place is a haven for those that get things done, LOVE the depot and can never spend enough time or money there.

Like that they honor veterans and do not have jump through all the hoops that Lowes require. Showing an ID Card should be adequate!

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!Ordered a product for home delivery...$900! Delivery day came and went, nothing showed up...not even a phone call. Apparently the item I ordered online was sold and I no longer had a product. When I called and talked to Kevin, the manager on duty, I was rudely told that there is nothing they can do for me. On top of this, I couldnt get my money back for 5-7 business days. So not only did I not get a order status call or the product that I purchased on the date I shouldve gotten it...I couldnt get my money back right away to go buy it somewhere else!? The Home Depot essentially took my money and promised me a product on said date...and didnt deliver, and now they cant fix it for me. They cant even give me a comparable replacement. I chose delivery on said date and pushed Buy online to get a product on that date because I needed it on that date. So not only did I pay them for something they dont have and cant get to me on the promised date, but they cant even fix a mistake that their own system made. Instead of apologizing for the mistake that was made by THEIR system I was made to feel like its my fault for using their online system and its too bad that it happened but feel free to wait another 3-5 days for the item we were supposed to get to yesterday.Ridiculous...

Arent the people that work at Home Depot supposed to know, like anything, about all those projects they sell stuff for? Everytime I go I end up asking questions, then googling it because what they said sounded ridiculous and then watching a DIY video on YouTube. I now know more than any Home Depot employee, thanks YouTube

Great place to get what you need. The store is always stocked well. Finding help sometimes can be a challenge I personal never ask for help but Im not the typical home owner i seem to have to find hard to get items and have to go to several stores to get all parts needed. For example they sell bathtub overflow drains that are made of ABS but they dont sell any ABS pipe or fitting but sell the green glue to change to pvc.

I would like to say that I was so impressed with the installers and very impressed by Tiffany who has been my Home Depot representative throughout the scheduling and project process. I have never ordered carpet, nor have I ever used the installation services that Home Depot provides. This was my first experience and I have to say, that had I known I would be working with top-notch professionals like my installers and Tiffany, I would have ordered my carpet sooner. I hope Home Depot appreciates them as much as I do!

Just a warning for anyone who might be wondering, you can not use any electronic payments here, so no samsung pay, google pay, apple pay etc. I asked an employee when I got there and they said it could be entered manually but you cant do that either I found out at checkout from a pretty unpleasant checkout clerk who actually threw a fit and started going off about how shes sick of us younger folk making everything electronic and its annoying when we ask about it. I just left and ordered it online so that I can get what I needed.

Home Depot is a hit-and-miss just like some of the restaurants around here. I went in to get a few plumbing connectors for a project. I couldnt find anything I was looking for and walked around for 30 minutes looking for someone to help. even after waiting at the desk. ended up having to put the stuff that I did find back on the shelf, and drove across town to another hardware store where I was greeted and helped immediately when I walked through the doors. sometimes I get great service at home Depot and other times such as this one its unacceptable...

If youre needing anything of any consequence, that is, anything but the most common item will need to be ordered in. It will take well past a week for said item to even come in. The Home Depot staff will tell you they will call you and email you when your order comes in but thats not true you will need to chase down your order yourself the store help isnt very helpful. Its much like 10 cents holding up dollar bills if you decide to let store help order your items into the local store. You can do the online ordering from an alternative vendor yourself and get it right HD screws things up for you.With all this said you can order from an alternative vendor online and your order will conceivably come to you much quicker than a Home Depot order and with less problems. Home Depot isnt the only game in town. You can wait forever on a HD order when the alternatives take care of your need quickly and accurately since you did the ordering yourself..

Good prices, decent selection. Killer black friday deals. Good credit options... if youre disciplined.

My cousin moved into Great Falls. He got sets of keys. A large task. Great service. I am sure this Home Depot has everything you might need. I always start with them.

Its a typical home depot except the carpet dept is horrible. I spent 2 weeks trying to buy carpet for my entire house, spent the 50 bucks for them to come measure, drove into town and no one could help us. We went back 2 more times and called several times with zero help. We finally cut our lose and took our money elsewhere to a company who was glad to help us.

Quite disappointed. Overall this place has what I need, but never when I need it. I have special ordered things more than once for jobs I had to have finished by a certain date. Its NEVER there on time. I end up having to waste a half tank of gas & the better part of the day to drive to Helena & back to get what I need at the Home Depot there. This place is either very poorly run or its gotta be the ONE Home Depots that never gets trucks with supplies.Its hard to manage contracts with deadlines when your supplier isnt reliable.

Plumbing department employee was very helpful.

They had what we needed. The way one worker treated another customer, was uncalled for. The worker seemed to not understand that older bills do not have watermarks. She was snotty and rude about it. Even made my kids take notice.

Helpful staff when you can find them. During the slower hours its much easier to find someone that can help you find what you need. No fault of the employees, theyre just really busy sometimes.
