Freaking fantastic sandwiches! Only flaw is the deli closes really early seems like. But pretty good store and friendly people.

The owner was so RUDE!! He was yelling at me telling me to be a better mother just because my kids forgot there mask. Ask them to leave the store or go get them and then come back. Dont yell at them tell them to grow up also dont go and hurt there feelings like that! How do you know if we were not just evacuated or our house burned down. He is so rude! Will not be going back there! Worse customer service ever!!!!

The owner is very cautious of kids stealing. Being right next to the school I can see why, but it seemed like the person they kicked out was mistaken for someone else, besides the fact that they literally locked the door as my 3 yr old daughter and I were trying to open it. We just wanted some candy but I guess it was 9:00 on the dot.

Its getting a little long in the tooth, and could use a refresh. But thats all they really have in that area so they probably arent highly motivated to change things. A redbox out front would be nice. It would also be a really nice place for a city bus stop as it is still a community hub for the highland area.

This is a nice local market serving the NW side of Grants Pass. The store is always clean and well stocked. Ive always been impressed with how curious the staff is.

I go to this place often after school and its a great place to get some ice cream, a drink or any nice snack and cheap items.

I dont like anything about this store the food is way greasy and I have lived in this area my whole life attended NMS and GPHS. It hasnt been as bad as a kid spending a couple bucks here and there, but as I grew up and started a career in business management myself. I have realized the owner is one of the rudest and most selfish person I have meet. He uses a fake 5 dollar minimum on all card purchases which you can do then refuses the sell if you dont get more then 5 dollars. I will drive into town now to spend my $4.95 since they will take it.

Its a pretty spendy convenient store...the owner is a bit of a jerk, and they brag about their homade biscuits and gravy, but that slop is served up from a can and biscuits were hard and old...not homade and only good if youre hungover.

People should understand what a terrible man the owner is:Customer R.11/14/2014The owner of Highland Market ran me out of the store and cussed me out for turning in cans and not buying anything with my can money. He used such fowl hurtful language, I told him that I would never come back again as his fowl cursing got louder as he started walking towards me. I left crying as he continued to scream at the top of his lungs, his voice was starting to crack. He was so mad I was worried he was going to hurt me, it truly was disturbing. I hope he doesnt do stuff like this when the children from the school across the street come in. By far the worst customer service I have ever witnessed or experienced in my entire life, and I have worked in customer service my entire life. I would never recommend going to this market.
