The diagnostic talent that he has shown far surpasses any I have seen. My 6.0 broke down in Central Point on my way to see my passing Grandfather in LA. The team at DNA started looking at my truck first thing the next morning and had it diagnosed and repaired by the next afternoon. I had to rent a car and get on my way but was able to pay for repairs and pick up my truck on my way back to Portland Monday morning. They are kind and professional. I cannot say enough good things about Bryan and his shop. DNA Performance is my go-to shop for my mechanical needs. His knowledge of diesels especially is incredible. From finding a bad O-ring in the HPOP system, to a replacement of a seized turbo, and so many other things Bryan has treated me well and fairly. He does everything he can to fix problems in a timely manner, getting me back on the road quickly. He also is great at letting me know about possible future issues but without trying to price gouge on problems that dont exist. For a great mechanic who will take care of you in a fair manner and make the unpleasant task of fixing a broke down or malfunctioning vehicle better and easier, I highly recommend this shop. And Audrey in the office is wonderful to work with as well. She is super nice and does an excellent job at communicating the needs and prices for parts and labor. Go see the wonderful people at DNA, they will not let you down.

The owner is nice knowledgeable man I have had him work on 3 different Vehicles of mine from miner fix’s to some extreme repairs always pay a fair price hes only got a few employees and he seems busy but I have always got my rides in after I have called and made the appointment and got them returned in a reasonable time if u live in the valley and need some work done on your vehicle or wanna upgrade some thangs u defiantly should check this shop out

My truck has been in my family almost 25 years. Means the world to me. That being said very few mechanics have touched it. Bryan has though and always did a great job. Had my truck towed for free and offered me his own rig so I wouldn’t be out a car. Stand up honest guy. How often can you say that.? He will have my business as long as I live in the valley. Brian has worked on all of my vehicles from classic to diesel. He once was able to troubleshoot a brand new motor issue that was the mechanical equivalent of the needle in the haystack. Brian is fair and honest. Brian has always gone above and beyond for me. The gal mentioned in the other review is not as described. She is however responsible for keeping the shop working and paying the bills. If you respect them as a business and not somewhere to get something for nothing, you will be pleased with their service. #payingcustomer

Bryan went out of his way to help me get my truck back on the road.

I had brought my vehicle in to have them diagnose and repair it. After they quoted me a price for the parts needed and labor involved the bill came out to be almost $3,200. I could have bought a whole new ride for that amount of money. But there was already too much invested in it, so I had the repairs done, it took the shop a little longer than they had estimated, but finally the repairs were done and I brought my vehicle home. It drove just fine for about 10-20 miles and then out of nowhere it begins stuttering on acceleration, and wobbling like something was out of balance, the engine check light came on, and there was a cylinder 7 misfire. What the heck! So I took the vehicle back to the shop and told them that there was still something wrong with it and they happily took it back and promised if it was something they had done then they would not charge me for the additional work and that he would call me the next day to inform me what the diagnosis would be. So a couple days went by and no call, now a couple weeks and still no call. To be honest I had other vehicles to drive while this one was in the shop. And its a good thing I did. Almost 2 months later I finally could not believe that no one had called me and let me know what was going on. So I gave them a call and he told me to come on down to the shop. So in that two months THEY BARELY EVEN LOOKED AT IT. He was actually in the process of making a diagnosis after I called, and of course, he determined that the problem was not caused by the job that they performed and told me there would be a charge to repair it and he told me what he thought it was a d offered to do it, but by this time I had enough, I just asked for my ride back and said have a nice day. Yeah, they performed the work needed, but didnt seem to stand out in any way as far as customer service or quality of work, and the speed of service was a joke. He explained that he had to fire ALL of his mechanics and start with a fresh crew. Well I dont know how that prevented him from picking up the phone and calling me about it. So all in all it was a huge hassle and a huge price tag when I could have went out and bought the same damn vehicle that blue booked at around $2,600 and been far better off than this situation where I was lucky to get $2,300 from a private buyer. Hopefully they have improved since then or I would be reluctant to bring another vehicle there.
