Prior to the changes made to our routine by COVID-19, I mostly came to Harvest Health for niche items. The ease of both online shopping and curbside pickup has made harvest health one of the first places Ive looked to buy my groceries. Ive been really impressed with with the whole process. Fast & easy checkout and great sales.

I recently called Harvest Health desperately in need of some grocery items and was unable to come into the store. Holly took my extensive order and rounded up all the items within the last half hour before the store was due to close. She then had someone bring the order out to my car. This was real service.Harvest Health also orders and gives a discount on the purchase of cases of items. This is unlike Trader Joes, who not only do NOT give discounts on cases, but actually discourages the purchase of multiple items.The Cascade store is where I usually shop. Jessie, who I think is the produce manager, has a wonderful array of fresh fruits and vegetables, always increasing the number of unique produce items available.

Whats not to Love! This is the best place to get all your health needs. The staff is so helpful, even if you are a novice at natural remedies, rest assured they will know how to help. So many healthy options, tons of tinctures, and earth momma products.

I have been going to Harvest Health for years for all my supplements and food/drink items. I love the store and have ever since I was a little girl who shopped there with my mother at the original Eastern location. Its one of my absolute favorite stores and I have been making the Cascade location my almost every Saturday trip with my shopping for several years. Not only that, I make a great deal of recommendations to people who need quality supplements and guidance. I want to say that I have noticed over the past year that the staff has not been as friendly or helpful as it used to be, with the exception of the new people.Because I love the store and really dont like to complain, I have held off making any comments at all, until I had an experience this past Saturday that tipped me over the edge. I went to do my shopping as well as pick up a supplement that was being held. The girl I asked, got my supplement for me. When she returned, she proceeded to put it on top of product on a top shelf with a stretched out arm to avoid handing it to me because I didnt have a mask on. The reason I didnt have a mask on is because they cause me anxiety and they cause me to get headaches. I happened to have one that day and realize its going to have to be something Ill have to suck up and deal with because everyone is in the same boat being forced to wear them. I also understand people are paranoid and it is very apparent now that the mask or no mask wearing has made people avoiding and cold toward one another as well as treating others with contempt when one isnt wearing one. I wish I didnt have that experience and didnt have to write this but I feel that with the money I choose to spend at THIS store is way too great to be treated the way I was treated and believe it could have been handled in a little more respectful or kind way. No customer should ever be treated as if they have a disease and made to feel unwelcome...especially when the employee is already wearing a mask to protect themselves. The way I was treated did not feel good at all and made me feel shamed. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

My husband and I came down to shop for a specific brand of beef they carry. We live 110 miles north of Grand Rapids and were stocking up for the winter. I did not call ahead to make sure they had it----foolish on my part!! They were, unfortunately, out of stock, but June called across town to another store and had them reserve their supply of it for us. I cant begin to tell you how friendly and helpful she was. We were very grateful for all her help---right down to clearly written instructions on how to get to the other store. Talk about great service!!Thanks so much, Harvest Health!

I used to frequent this store to find very specific items or when I was in a pinch, because their every day prices are higher than most. Unfortunately, I wont be shopping here much anymore, if at all. I find they are often out of stock of items I am looking for. As such, I had to buy another brand of something I needed in a pinch. I took it back the next day, as it didnt taste right. The manager came over and said that they do not take items back when a customer doesnt like it. I stated that it didnt tasted right. The manager said that often natural products will not taste the same as others. While, this is true, we only buy all natural and/or organic, so this was not the case and I reiterated that it didnt taste right. She made it seem like she was doing me a huge favor by giving me a store credit. Too bad the customer service isnt as great as Trader Joes. Youd think with this new competitor in town, Harvest Health would be trying to keep their customers, not drive them away. It wasnt that we didnt like the product, it was off. Trader Joes will actually refund you any product they sell, for whatever reason, even if you just dont like it...no questions asked...and certainly without the hassle!

Good store for many healthy alternatives, I always enjoy visiting and picking up different health supplements.

A fun healthfood store with more than just flax seed imitation hot dogs. Beyond the usual organic veggies, kombucha, and soy cheese, Harvest Health also carries a wide selection of vitamins, supplements, and alternative medicinal products. I always enjoy wandering the aisles (theres a surprising amount of products for a store of its size) and seeing whats to be found. Prices cause some initial sticker shock, but you have to remember what youre getting for your money. Take your time, and really poke around so you dont miss anything.

An excellent choice for all of your natural, organic, holistic personal needs. An awesome family staff that is personable, knowledgeable and helpful and a well run chain of Harvest Health Foods stores in the greater Grand Rapids and West Michigan area. My first choice when I am in the area.

If harvest health doesnt have what you need? They will try to find it and order it for you. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They carry a ton of specialty products.

Ive no problem with the food here, but the prices are almost too high to remain reasonable with other specialty organic grocers in Grand Rapids. Also, the staff are generally kind and helpful, but always appear to be in the midst of a mid-day burnout and look a little pissed off, which is cool with me, but if you expect your existence greeted with a smile, you might not dig it here too much.

Great store, tremendous selection very helpful staff. They carry everything from vitamins and natural remedies to high quality health foods.

Not the best shopping experience...the store is poorly stocked and runs out of necessary items. This is even more annoying because I live far away and have to drive 25 minutes to get there. I cant tell you how many times I wanted to buy whole wheat bread (Little Rooster), half and half (Organic Valley) and 1% milk (Org. Valley) and found them sold out. Not a dependable store like Meijer or Trader Joes. Plus, the road leading in to the parking lot has more mammoth potholes than Baghdad in 06. An old GR standby for organic food but misses the mark.

If your health is important to you, then this store is a must on your shopping schedule. Have everything you need and knowledgeable staff to assist..

Called ahead to see if they had what I was looking for. No one else in town carried it, always have to order online. Holly helped me on tbe phone. Very patient and helpful, even verified if on shelf or not. She wanted to make sure they had it on the shelf for me, before I drove all the way there. Very thoughtful. Put aside for me. When I arrived, Camele stepped up to help me right away and retrieved my hold items from back room. Camele answered all my questions and gave me some more healthy options and informationto. Thank you both Holly & Camele for your great service and making me feel welcome. Store was very neat & clean with great selection of food and health options. Will shop here again.

Stopped in today and asked if they had any soil-based pro-biotics. The gentleman I asked gave me a bit of an attitude. He apparently had not heard of them. He turned to a woman who was coming out of the back and asked (in a somewhat mocking tone), Do we have any soil-based probiotics? She looked at me and said, No. And just kept looking at me. So that was it. End of discussion. FYI: People with SIBO actually do better with soil-based probiotics, but I didnt really want to get into it with them. And some people are sick who come into this store, looking desperately for something that could help. A little more sensitivity and a lot less attitude and dismissiveness would go a long way. Normally, I have great experiences here with the staff, but this one was very disappointing. They seemed to have no interest in helping (or even in not being rude).

Great healthy selections, monthly deals are good savings. We go for a good GF selection.
