Ordered online, shipping was fast and shirts seem true to size although a little small but still in range (xl). I ordered two plain colored shirts t-shirts that are very comfortable and two MI related ones. So far very happy.

Horrible experience. First off, they sent me the wrong item. Then they tell me to print off label, package up and take to USPS to return to them. You cant CALL them, the number they have is disconnected. They answer emails a day later....same as Chat feature. They make it way too difficult to do business especially with many other choices. Avoid.

Creative Michigan-themed clothing. Comfortable short- and long-sleeved tees, sweatshirts, and sweatpants. Michigan universities and slogans. Bit pricey, but we liked what they offer.

Amazing Michigan themed t-shirts for every taste. Not only Michigan colleges with vintage logos either. They have state and lake themed shirts as well. Great lakes and local lakes. Camping and beach themed shirts that are all super soft. They have super cute stuff for babies and kids too. Actually have pet stings I forgot about! All in all a great t-shirt store in one of the best parts of Grand Rapids, the revitalized West side.

The shirt I ordered was not completely stitched so it had a large hole in the side. Called multiple times for over a week with no response. Don’t waste your money or time like I did.

BEWARE NEW WOMENS SIZING! Their stuff tends to be overpriced and the shirts are super thin. However I do like the designs on the shirts so when they were having a 40% off sale I decided it was a good time to order. I ordered 2 unisex shirts and 2 womens scoop neck shirts. I followed the instructions listed on the website and sized up to a large as they noted the scoop necks ran small. When I got my order I received 1 scoop neck and one extremely huge tshirt that was not a scoop neck, so I thought maybe they sent me the unisex large by mistake. I contacted customer service and they requested I send them a photo of the shirt to confirm I did not receive the scoop neck. To my surprise after they received the photo they informed me that I had in fact received the correct shirt. This was the new style for womens shirts apparently. Yet the womens large is 2 inches wider than the unisex large so explain that one to me. Also, if they changed the style and sizing of the shirt AFTER I ordered why wouldnt they contact me. Not only is it huge, if I would have known I couldnt get the scoop neck I wouldnt have ordered it in the first place. I agree with other reviewers that customer service leaves something to be desired. I wouldnt order from them again.

Any issue Ive had before with shipping have been resolved. The shirts/hoodies are soft and good quality. I love their products! I highly recommend you give them a try

Shirts are great!! Sizing is a bit odd. Communication was poor with my last couple of orders (after weeks of not receiving my orders I had to initiate communication to determine status). Ill still order again, weve probably purchased a dozen shirts in the last year. Love the designs!!

Horrible online ordering experience. I ordered 3 shirts 10 DAYS AGO and order is still processing. Emailed their customer service with NO REPLY 5 days after order was placed. Messaged them on Facebook asking for shipping update. Received response that they would be in contact via email in 20-30 mins. Received the response that basically they are processing and shipping orders as fast as they can but my order will ship within 2 weeks of order date. By the time the order ships if it ships by 2 weeks, when the order is received it will have been close to 3 weeks from the order date. They had absolutely no problem taking the money right away! I mean if you have 3 weeks to wait on something you ordered (these were for a birthday and will not be here in time) go ahead and order something from here! You are probably better off to drive from anywhere to Grand Rapids and go to the store instead. Will not purchase from here again.

Placed an order 2 weeks ago and sent them an email asking when to expect delivery. I receive an email back showing they shipped it out the day after I inquired on the delivery. Bad communication, if you are busy or backed up, at least contact your customers. Pretty simple really.

Horrible customer service. Their website stated December 15th was the ordering deadline to get orders in for Christmas delivery. I ordered that morning. After hearing nothing from them I called on the 22nd. The rep on the phone rudely insisted that December 15th was the deadline, so only orders placed BEFORE December 15th would ship in time. Youd think theyd interpret a deadline LIKE EVERY OTHER ORGANIZATION IN THE WORLD.Now its the 23rd and I get an notification my item is BACK ORDERED.Im issuing a chargeback on my VISA. Dont give these idiots any of your hard earned money. Complete incompetence.

Grand Rapids Eastown neighborhood is going local with the Mitten States new shop (1502 Wealthy St. SE) across the street from YesterDog. From a few kiosks in the mall to an online presence, The Mitten State is beefing up their brand with a physical location. We wanted something that had character and a neighborhood setting with a younger vibe and culture, says Co-Founder and Creative Director Will Bransdorfer. The location will showcase everything they sell from t-shirts and hoodies to accessories such as coffee mugs, keychains, stickers and hats. We sell mostly t-shirts. None of us over here take ourselves really seriously, but what will be serious is the attention paid to the nostalgic and fun product and the new locations tailored experience. Youll be able to touch the stuff, try it on, walk in and get the full effect of the story and the brand.
