I used to really like shopping here. I’ll give two stars for the organization and layout. However, there are 2 gripes I have: the buying process and the customer service. I understand that buying items is not an easy task, but they aren’t clear on their process. When I asked them how they price their items, they told me that they look for clothing that is “trendy”, which is a vague answer. If a customer asks that, they are trying to collect feedback based off of what you’re looking for and how much we’re getting for it so we can either decide to try and sell with you next time or figure out another alternative. I brought in a box of clothing in and they offered me a few bucks for a couple of shirts, but when I received my tote back all of the items were disorganized and thrown in with carelessness when I had them laid flat and shoes on top. The employees made the experience very unwelcoming and aren’t very friendly. And the responses that you have with customers who have left low review are snarky. Please do better.

This used to be a really great little store, about 10-15 years ago. But over the last several years they’ve gone the same direction as all of the other used clothing stores. They are pretty overpriced, to say the least. I had almost brand new Miss Me jeans and several other gently used brand name trendy Jeans that they wanted to give me two dollars for. A whole bag full of brand-name gently used children’s clothes that I don’t even think they really looked at. This store is also a miss as far as customer service is concerned, the lady who I dealt with was very snooty and rude. So I’ll stick to Poshmark and Stitch Fix for used clothing transactions.

Really nice stuff but so sad you cant try on shirts that pull over your head. I will miss buying shirts there. I have had too many times something looks great on the hanger but not on me. Vice versa is also true. In the past Ive experimented trying things on and bought them after they looked great.Now if you can try it on at home I would do that....

Ive gone here a couple of times to trade clothing and both times Ive been disappointed. They pay very little for brand new clothing and average about $1-$2 for each item. Then they turn around and sell it for 4-5 times the amount. I make way more selling my clothes on facebook marketplace. Goes to show you just a little more effort pays a lot more. Literally.The place is always pretty clean but the customer service could definitely be a lot better. Its hard to shop in a place where your business is unappreciated.

I visited fashion junkie today and it has been years since I haven’t been into Fernando’s store and for them to remember me after all those years just made me feel absolutely wonderful as a customer. That store has grown tremendously it is clean people are friendly and they have lots to choose from at a very reasonable price, if you have not visited fashion junkie you should!

I got the best deals, I was going to order some Miss Me shorts,, and spend all my money, but I got them 75.00 dollars cheaper !!

Very rude and unprofessional i will no longer do any of my shopping here the staff here is terrible and treat people as though they are better then the customers. It is a second hand store and brought in clothes with tags still on it from their store and they treated me as i was less of a person. Dont go here if you want to be treated with Any sort of respect. Stay away from here they should be ashamed of themselves and how i was treated

Rude! The man there (I’m assuming the owner) needs to learn how to treat customers if he wants to thrive as a business. I’ve been to the competition stores in town and have always felt welcome and treated nicely. This place has lost my business! I will never step foot in this place again and I would rather spend my money at Fashion Runway... and I usually spend about $75-$150 at these places. My advise, don’t support these jerks.

Fashion junkie is my favorite used clothing store in the valley! Ive shopped there and sold clothes to them for years, and I always have a pleasant experience. Im not sure what the other reviews were talking about, but the employees are always super nice to me and my sister. The prices are great and you gotta love the sale racks! Thanks for being here Fashion Junkie and Im so happy that youre open again!

They have decent prices if you are looking to shop there but if you are looking to sell your clothing then forget about it. They don’t give you anything. Even when it is nicer than 90% of the stuff in that place. Not good for selling clothing!

New-ish to town and this place = jackpot! I bought a super cute blouse for $1 and my new favorite pair of work pants/leggings for $7. 👏👌I do wish they had a little more of a jewelry and accessories selection but still I’m not complaining...that $1 rack is going to be my weakness 😅Going to try to bring in some of my clothes and see if I get lucky 🍀.

Stopped in today for just a quick look as we just moved to Grand Junction. Everyone was very friendly and store looked really clean and well laid out. I saw many things I liked, and will definitely come back to take my time and shop!

Absolutely love this place. Its neat, organized and they is something for everyone. Mens selection is fantastic. Its a rarity that consignments have great values and lots of choices. The staff is friendly and always ready to help.

Discriminates against people with health conditions even thoe colorado state law says there exception so if you know someone with disabilities or health conditions they dont make reasonable accommodation terrible place

Ive been going to this store since I was in middle school and still recommend it to friends. I find the staff to be pleasant and they have a wide range of items in a wide range of prices. I sell clothes here over Runway because they are way faster at looking at stuff. Take more of it. And pay more money then other places. Sometimes finding an item that I like in the stote can take some time but thats just cause their inventory is always changing. Its more fun to hunt for stuff anyway.

I brought a box of brand new clothes to the childrens side. The lady seemed irritated I was there. When I came to pick up the box she said she wasnt going to take any of it (brand new top brand names) it was obvious she didnt even touch the box. I told her I would never go back. The other side is nice. If you have childrens clothes dont bother bringing them there its more frustrating then beneficial. Just take them to childs place.

You can always find something to wear here. not badly priced and will pay you for name brand clothes!

I have never been there before. But after reading Aarons review, I will never step in there. People today lack courtesy, morals or plain common courtesy. Ive worked in the customer service field for over 30 years. Lived all over the U.S..A. and I do have to say 70% of the employees in this field in this town are rude, and obviously to not like their jobs. Every time I go into a business I acknowledge every employee I encounter by hello hows your day etc. They very rarely say hi or anything. And then theyll see somebody, that might be not clean, have tattoos or other things. And theyll follow them and their every move. And lo and behold that nicely dressed women with heels n hair done, has just stole $300 or $400 worth of things. A

I really hate the service, the girl at the counter just wanted nothing to do with me. I brought an awesome bag of clothes in and she only gave me 4$ for the entire thing, and Im nice Dillards and Buckle clothes. If you are looking for a second hand store go to FASHION RUNWAY. Awesome service, people who care, better clothes, and overall just a more pleasant experience. Also, they arent going to give you $1 for everything you bring in, I brought the same bag I got $4 to RUNWAY and got $38. Runway Rocks.

Horrendous customer service. The girl who works here most of the time is very inattentive to customers, shes usually looking down, responds very rudely to customer questions. I can imagine how many items walk out the door because of her lack of customer service! A few weeks ago, this girl decided to go out to the car to talk with her little friend. Shes very luck there were honest people in the store!! The kids store next to this one is great!! The lady is very friendly and actually has conversation with customers!!! So basically for men/ womens clothing, like Julia said, head on over to Runway Fashion Exchange! They are way better in all aspects!

I ve been shopping at Fashion Junkie for about 10 years and I LOVE IT .Honestly, Kori, you must be talking about different store.This guys PAY GREAT for my husbands and my clothing.His BKEs and mine brought in between 12 and 15 dollars EACH(they payed me $7 for one of them but it was pretty faded) I had a pair of Miss Mes, they gave me $20.With some ts and tops I got a total of $98.They used to pay me pretty good for my kids clothing too, but they are now shopping the adult side.ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE.Just try them, youll see.Happy Shopping!Mary

If there were an option for no stars, I would use it.Let me tell my experience here.... being felt discriminated against since the first time I walked into the door, until now, this last visit being told to leave and they no longer want me in their store.It all started when I took a friend there to shop and had a few items to sell. That was all going well, they bought some items so we had some cash TO SPEND. However... we didnt get to buy anything becauae my friend who was going to buy a pair of jeans wanted to look around for a matching outfit. The worker there, wish I knew her name, she was a little shorter had dark hair... anyway she approaches my friend and says ill take those jeans from you after we explain what we were doing, she replies you know what they look like, Im sure you can find something. And literally, grabs them, almost forcefully out of our hands.So there at that moment, we decided to not spend a dollar there and walked out. I have never seen such rude terrible customer service at any type of retail store in my life. I am not sure if its because this isnt a huge chain corporate store or what, I still find that unacceptable.So now here I am, doing some moving and cleaning in the house. I have some items I know are worth money and since the only thing that went good was the sale, try to return here for just that reason. Well who would have guessed that she remembered us, so from there immediately rude (no surprise I suppose)... ends up just stepping away to make a phone call, comes back and says you need to leave, we cannot buy any of your items. After I ask why, she replies your friend tried to steal a pair of our jeans last time (pointed at some brand) and you need to leave the store. Also there was some sort of issue with an item looking new and claimed that they wouldnt buy that anway because of some issue they are having with new items. Me personally just being caught off guard by all of this now, start to show them the items and again you need to leave or I will call the police on you.So sorry whatever it is happened with your store that I or anyone I know had nothing to do with, you felt the need to refuse service. Also cost you a customer because I guess I am not even allowed back in there.So from my experience, you can not browse around in hopes to try on an outfit. Or you can not sell anything there that even appears to be new. To top it off being told to leave before the cops are called. The worst part is I know for sure I do not appear to have a look of someone that has bad intentions. Maybe that was the problem...Edit: Forgot to mention the part where she took my ID information before I was asked to leave. At first, I didnt have a problem with it. Considering the fact it was written on a page from a spiral notebook. No legit form or anything, the notebook was just tossed under the counter too, not filed or anything... I figured, ok so they need my info this time, no big deal. Then after all that was mentioned above happened, I kindly asked for that paper back. At this point there is no legit reason to have it, other than it ending up in the wrong persons hands now and my identity could be compromised. She said no and you need to leave or I will call the police right now. Thinking back, I wish I would have had them call the police so I could get my personal information back. A lot of me just couldnt wait to get out of that store and never return.Such a terrible experience...
