RUN AWAY!!! I had 6 exaust leaks out of eight welds. Horrible job. Its now unsalvageable and Im going to have to buy a new exhaust and have it installed. Somewhere else of course. I wish I could post pictures.

I called every place in Grand forks and East Grand forks for quotes and this was the most reasonable! Great honest work.

Fast friendly service at the right price

I have taken my car here in the past with no issues. I know close friends that have done the same with great reviews. Took my car in yesterday for shocks and struts. Upon their completion, they called to say that my car was ready for pick up. I paid the $704.70 over the phone and went to pick up my car. When I entered my car, the ABS light, Brake System light, and Brake light were all on. These were not on when I dropped my car off. When they called to say that my car was ready, they did not tell me of these lights. As a common courtesy to your customers, you do not give their car back with new issues, and if something went wrong, YOU TELL THEM ABOUT IT! I was VERY displeased with this service. After I had to bring this to their attention, they then said that I could bring my car back so they can figure out what happened, as they didnt know at that time. After they fix the issue that they caused in the first place, I will not be taking my business back there.

Called them up because my 94 Caprice needed new cats and sensors. They set me up with an appointment and ordered up the parts. When I brought the car in, it was back the same day. Overall was cheaper and they didnt request I pay extra or advance to get the parts in unlike a competitor in town. I highly recommend these guys for any and all exhaust work.

They were super nice. I had broken a muffler mount and had a rattle. Was in and out in just a couple minutes. For sure using these guys in the future.

I had them put on four struts in my car and they were the cheapest in town and were quick and did a very good job. A few years later, I brought my car to Eide Hyundai for a noise in my rear suspension (which I told them it probably was a bushing on my sway bar), they told me that my rear driver side strut was bad and needed to be replaced. They were going to charge me a lot for parts and labor so I ordered the strut online and brought it to National Auto; I got a call a couple hours after saying that the strut was fine and asked if I wanted the new one on or not (I opted to keep the old strut in), long story short, I asked them how much I owed them, and the manager didnt charge me. I have had struts put on my other car there and will be going there for any suspension problem that I have. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Best price in town. AAA dropped my 2001 Pasaat off for a faulty starter. I didnt come in and National fixed it the day. When I told them I was coming in to pick it up, they had my car running so it wasnt freezing when I got in it. Very good customer service!

My go to place. Fair/low pricing, great work. Had a headlight out and they gave me a bulb to use in the mean time while the bulb I ordered came in. Also did a quick solder job as a walk in to make something in my super old car to stop making so much noice (forgot what it was, police actually pulled me over and said I had to get it fixed) and only charged me $20. Atmosphere of the shop is less of a corporation and more of your friendly neighborhood mechanics, ones that you can trust.Update: I ordered an LED bulb for my headlight because thats what my car had when the bulb burnt out. Just had another headlight go out a couple months ago, but was living in Detroit so had it replaced at a different shop. They said it was a normal halogen bulb, and that I had halogen bulbs in both sides. So the LED headlight I ordered with National Muffler accidentally got replaced with two halogen bulbs, so I overpaid because I ordered an LED and they even took out the LED light I had in there.
