Stopped carrying Farm Fresh brands.I went there for the Fresh Farms tomato 🍅sauce. But no longer. So not as many visits. Prices sneaking up om groceries

Manager always in the back look like he has been taking a nap. He is never around when cashier needs help. I caller about a mattress today that i ordered and he would not help at all..he is very lazy. Im double ordering items online through furniture and he said he couldnt pull information up to see my account in which I knew was a lie.....

The people are nice, friendly and professional. The manager is very helpful, friendly,nice and polite. The store is clean

Don’t expect to order online and be able to get same day store pick up. We just moved here and had nothing on our windows so went to pick up some cheap curtains and a shower curtain but the employees never bothered to get our order ready and told us to come back another day

Associates are always helpful at this and the other two Big Lots we frequently shop. Aisles were free of clutter which makes it easier to navigate through their store.

So, I placed an order online, paid for it and it was a store pickup. I go inside to pickup my item and the young man Chaisse asked me to sign the electronic pad. What I read on the pad was me authorizing paymen (which I had already done online) so I asked him what was I signing? He said I was only signing stating that I had picked up my item. I told him that is not what it says and that the purchase price already showed in my bank account. Anyway, I signed and said I was just putting it in my vehicle and that my child was in the store, somewhere, shopping. I come back in the store for my child ( 27 years old) to tell me how Chaisse was talking bad about me to the manager (for literally asking a LEGITIMATE question). So my daughter and I finished shopping, went to check out, of course it had to be Chaisse. I told Chaisse that before he talks bad about customers, which he shouldnt be doing anyway, he should be more careful at who might be listening. His response was, he wasnt talking bad about me, UNTRUE. And I told him that I regularly REVIEW businesses online to which he responded that he doesnt plan on making working at Big Lots his career so he really doesnt care about any reviews that are done. So, GREAT JOB Big Lots, you definitely have a WINNER with Chaisse!!!

This is literally the nicest big lots you have ever seen. They even have a gigantic candy display with all the stuff you loved as a kid.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve visited a Big Lots, but this one did notttt disappoint. They have everything and anything you could need while moving into a place. Everything is super affordable. Location is clean and well stocked. The staff was excessively helpful. I had a handful of things (didn’t think I’d find so much good stuff), and about employee reached out and asked if I needed a cart. I was super thankful as she brought one over to me. Viviana also assisted me with what I went there for and she confirmed they had a box spring in stock. I continued shopping and then checked out. I was impressed as she was hauling it out for me. It didn’t fit in the back of my SUV, but she was quick to assist me in securing it to my roof racks up top. They provided twine to secure it. She stayed outside with me until she was sure it was ready to go safely! Again, I was very satisfied with this visit and wanted to give a special shout out to Viviana for being an amazing individual. The cashier working yesterday (10/01 at approx 7:30pm) was also amazing. Everyone here made it such a welcoming and fun experience!!! Highly recommend

Employees are friendly and helpful. Their merchandise has improved over the years. They are carrying more name brands. And I just love their end of season sales!

Clean, neat store. I went in looking for a candle. Found that, and also bought a small table clock and a bag of cat food. All nicely priced!

My wife and I called to see if they had a couch set in stock. After putting us on hold so long that it rang back to the store 3 times the associate answered, said we don’t have it, and hung up on us. I went online and found the set in stock and ordered it for pickup the next day. I recommend looking at the furniture in store and ordering online. The associates at this store need a lesson in customer service. However, when we went to go pick up our set, the manager who helped us was very polite and very helpful!

Our Big Lots here in Goose Creek has mostly furniture and home decor. They carry seasonal items and holiday decor. There are a few aisles of food items, drinks, pets supplies, cheap tools n limited hardware and cleaning products.

Placed 2 orders online, I went to the store and they said they did not have the order. My bank shows I was charged twice for one order and charged for the 3rd order. Debbie who said she was the manager was extremely rude, and said its not her problem. I called my bank and they verified I was charged. I asked her to call corporate, they said they did not see the order and advised her to ring my up for the amount my order was for. They told me I should recieve my funds in 2 days. She told me that someone named Tommy says not to allow me to purchase my items for the price they charged me for online. I am disgusted, I spoke to the Goose Creek store manager Chris and he advised me that Debbie called him and told him not to help me. I am a regular customer of big lots, Ive never been treated this way. I will never shop with biglots again!

They didnt have much of the furniture items that were on the showroom floor. I, had to be redirected to another Big Lots and I was advised to shop online.😒

Looking for curtains but didnt have enough

Bought a recliner from here it was in stock and they even helped me load it in the car.

Love this place. They have upped their furniture game. Have bought many items out of there for my home. They also have Great prices. Can always find a better deal here. They have great pictures and quotes to hang around your home. As well as a nice selection of curtains and beautiful comforter sets for your bed. Their staff is always very helpful. One of my favorite places to shop.

I really like this Big Lots storeI was never a fan before. I went to a couple of stores in NJ and they were do trashy. This store is clean and I the people are super friendly. I am usually able to find what I want. Today I went for dryer balls. The associate took me right to the items. She could have just told me and I would have been fine but she escorted me. Got just what I needed.

Great experience. Jared was very helpful when we had to load our truck. These days good customer service can be hard to find these days but not with him. Would definitely recommend this location to friends and family.

Some prices were average and some were great deals. great store if your familiar with it. people are always friendly. Great place for a quick run in and grab if your familiar with there stock line are usually short and quick. Have a good holiday selection of things you dont usually see in the bigger stores.

Service was great it was easy to find exactly what I needed. When I didnt see an item I ask and they were quick to get it from the back. I will do ALL my business their.

New store layout looks very nice. Furniture is right up front, making sure old and new customers, alike, know that they sell furniture of varying designs. They have great options at a budget with Progressive Leasing options. Also good thrifty bargains on everyday items.

They re-organized this store within the last year. It looks fantastic! But I still havent gotten used to where everything is now, ha ha. Workers are awesome! Polite, friendly & helpful😊 it helps that I show them respect, am nice to them & dont DEMAND that they do things for me. Ive actually seen other customers do this!😱😡I enjoy my shopping at this Big Lots 😁

The prices are always great. The atmosphere is awesome. When you come in there is always some greeting you. It is really organized and way cleaner than the other Big Lots. Never crowded and you dont have to stand in a line long. Always able to get in and out without a problem.

When there were only 4 of a particular brand of plastic storage bins left on the shelf I asked one of the employees if there might be some more in the back. He was friendly and promptly went to check the inventory. He was quick to return with a box of 6 more so I was able to leave with exactly the number I needed. Great customer service.

I had a good experience. But they need more help in my store. I want to ask for a job. I think it would be a great place to work. I always go to big lots when I cant find things at other stores and they always have better prices.I go there if Im on that side of town. Because of the price and people.

This place just got a remodel and it looks a whole lot better except for the fact that they sell a lot of rip-off toys including matchbox and bricklock and other brands like that trying to compete against the larger ones.Aside from that its not too bad(Edit) they listened! Thank you so much guys

Would have gave a five 🌟 but they were out of the full size frame we wanted. When we asked when it would come in they were not sure. Said it could take months. When asked if we could get the floor model. They said no because their builders wouldnt want to build another one. Everything besides this was perfect

Went in on a Friday evening and it was great! There was almost no one else in there, so no line. Got some pretty cheap 2 liters of soda, and the very pleasant cashier double bagged them. We will return!

Love what theyve done with this place! Recently renovated or redone.. Whichever?! Either way its even more organized than before! The furniture is the first thing you see when you walk in. Everything else is still there. Its just to the left, right & behind the furniture. They have sales people in the furniture section just like at a furniture store. They are very knowledgeable & helpful with the furniture.I recently bought a mattress for my sons bed from them. They had the mattresses in stock at the store. They dont deliver but do have a number you can call to set up to have your furniture delivered by a independent delivery service. I spoke to them but decided to bring a teenager with me to help me get my mattress home. The guy I spoke with said they could deliver the following day.Same great prices! New look inside the store! Friendly knowledgeable staff! Ill be back before too long. This is a fun place to shop!

Big lots has definitely changed the way their stores look and feel. They used to look dingy but now they look amazing. Wide selection to choose from as well.

I was treated unfairly because I was returning an item that number one was missing the charging cable and the manager tried to give me 15 dollars for a 65$ Amazon Alexa that I had just purchased within a month saying that it was being sold during black Friday sales special for 15$ basically calling me a liar about when I purchased the product and Im a very loyal and frequent customer of big lots and when I asked for the name and number of his supervisor he turned red in the face and snatched the box from me and said Im just gonna do it for you and also said to me that it would be his last time shopping with big lots if he was me and had the experience I was going through currently..... Such disrespect and not professional for a franchised company and him being a representative of this outfit a manager. This may just cause me to spend my hard earned much spent money elsewhere his name was Mike and this was Goose Creek SC location

To me personally, Big Lots is ok. I know a lot of people that aren’t interested in going there, but if you spend a little bit of time, you can find some decent deals there.

You may be surprised at the prices...if you like what you see you better get it for it may not be in the store the next time you return. Very nice sales staff.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the store is clean and well organized. Unfortunately the manager Mandy is very unpleasant. She condescending to her employees in front of customers and treats customers as if she’s much too important to be forced to speak to them.

If i could put 0 stars i would. They kicked me, my boy friend, and my little sister for looking at couches because my boyfriend is planning on moving out when he turns 18. (Hes currently 17) and they kicked us out because we looked to young i suppose. Safe to say my boyfriend will not be buying a couch from them...

The check out lady was rudeI asked her to please wrap my candle holders separate so they would not get scratched. She took them back out of the bags that she wrapped TOGETHER. She has a very bad attitude just BECAUSE I bought something that I didnt want to get racked. She acted like anything I asked her was such a problem. I ran my own business for 10 yrs and u just dont treat customers that way. I will no longer go to that store on St James.
