I love going to Family Dollar. They always have great prices. The store is nice and clean and well stocked. The staff are nice and friendly and very helpful. I get all my cat supplies there as well as my personal items. I also get my cleaning supplies there. And Family Dollar is conveniently located near my house and my boyfriends house. We go to the Family Dollars for almost everything.

Employees so unkind. Terrible looks on their faces as soon as you walk in the door. I was rang up every thing in my buggy and entire process without the woman even looking at me- and never said one single word. Rang up took money ripped off receipt forcefully handed it to me turned and walked off. Actually went out the out door in front of me and didnt even hold it or acknowledge I was right behind her she literally let it swing shut right IN my face.The definition of rechidly RUDE PEOPLE.

I have a broken leg and currently in a work boot and using a cane to get around. I went to the Family Dollar and Goose Creek that is located next to the post office. I went in and ask the cashier for some help. The cashier was very friendly and proceeded to get the other employee which happened to turn out to be the manager. I asked the manager if she could help me get some copy paper, a notebook, and if they sold thumb drives. The manager proceeded to tell me that I should get a cart and get around the store that way and she told me to which Ill everything was on. I know she was busy but I really did not like her attitude and for her not to at least offer assistance when she plainly could see that I needed it I was not pleased with that at all. I found the store to be stocked if anything it was overstocked to the point that it was even hard for a normal person to get around. They have so much Christmas stuff and Gifts its like trying to navigate a maze. I really wish I didnt have to go into for Family Dollar today but I had to for a few things I needed. I try to avoid Family Dollar as much as possible only because the lack of help the layout in display of the store its like they need to update their stores or remodel them are something but fine so much and a store where the store is poorly lit and lack of a good staff and the place that pays very poorly and has a huge turnover makes me not want to go there. The only positive thing I can say about it if the cashier was great and their prices are reasonable on a lot of stuff but other than that unless its an emergency or you just want to go in and look by yourself this is something I try to avoid.

The ladies here are so helpful and never have an attitude and dont mind explaining the store policy (smart coupon) to you.

I was checking out the other day and I noticed a couple of boxes of Snickers candy bars with a big pink sign asking to buy a candy bar to help win a contest. The girl then asked me if I would buy one to help us out . When I inquired I was told that it was a contest between all the stores and whoever sold the most, they would get a bonus. Instead of having your employees solicit and beg for money from each customer maybe it would be better for your bottom line to just give them a raise. After all, you got my dollar but I will never go back to this store again.Also, the store is waaayyy overstocked and a jumbled mess! I had to wait a few minutes for the cashier and the other employee was crouched down in the middle of a tiny aisle talking on her cell phone. Again, I will NEVER go back.

The manager of this store is considerate and helpful. It is a pleasure to shop at this store.
