The service was fine. I used the coupon from the back of a Kroger receipt for a semi synthetic blend oil change and tire rotation for $17.99 which I think is a good price. The job was done in a timely fashion and to my satisfaction. When I came home though, I noticed there was a big greasy boot print on my carpeted floor mats and Im not too pleased with that.

One, I was surprised my review did not make their website, so I see the dishonesty already with this company and their practices. We were traveling to Memphis when our brakes were making a grinding noise and being from not the area we googled the closest mechanic and called to see if we could get in. When we got there they were behind but we understood Saturday and was just glad they could get us in. After about two hours we were told the brakes need replace and it would be around 875.00 to replace. Well, we did not have a choice again we were traveling from Ohio to Memphis and wanted to make our destination hopefully soon. We okay the price to fix. Two more hours later we were told they miss qouted us and now it will cost us over 12000.00 to fix because of the make and model of our car. By this time traveling with a three year old and now 4 hours behind of scheduled we agree to get it fixed. Took another hour and we were able to leave with caution that we would need to pump the brakes and see another one of Midas shop for the other 900.00 in work. I am glad we called our mechanic in Ohio and was told of the Midad 300% mark up and thanks to the great people of Gateway Tires and Service in Southaven Mississippi for looking at the sr agreeing they over priced us and that we decided to get a second opinion. They flushed the brakes correctly and we enjoyed the rest of trip only spending and extra 88.00 dollars not 900.00. We did let our mechanic in Ohio see the car after and he agreed he did not see the error that Midas saw. We really think from all of this out of towners let charge more especially since we were not wanting to stay in a location we knew nothing about...

I came in for a simple oil change and was greeted with an attitude. The level of unprofessionalism was prevalent. Im not sure if the guy was having a bad day or overwhelmed with work but Im a potential customer and she be treated as such. I was told well get to it when we get to it, I scheduled an appointment specifically for that reason because I figured it would be easier than just walking in. I will never return to this location. I wasted time and money 😑😠

The staff was very nice and did their best to be accommodating, but the wait time was far too long. I scheduled an appointment and after about an hour and a half I realized that they still hadn’t taken back my car. Another gentleman in the waiting room told me that he had dropped his car off at 8:30 and it still wasn’t done when I left around 12:40. It wasn’t until I let them know that I had another appointment that they were able to get me out in about 45 minutes.

What can I say about this place? I would never go there again. Bought a groupon coupon for an oil change and made an appointment. When I got there it still took over a half an hour to get my into the shop. Total time to do an oil change was an hour and a half. Then they tried to tell me that I needed to have over $4000 worth of work done. Told me I had oil leaking from multiple gaskets and I needed to get them fixed. I took the car somewhere else and used the engine oil dye to find leaks and turned out it wasnt leaking at all. They seem to always be trying to make more money off of you. Buyer beware. Not only are they dishonest but usually they are rude as well. I gladly take my money elsewhere.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We were just told from a District manager Dustin Wellmen that we can’t get a refund, because the parts that were ordered have succeeded the amount we paid for the service. We went to get a part replaced for check engine light. They chose to order the parts and tried to fox it 3 times we were told we could get a refund. Now we are told we can’t. We were ignored for months and have spent over $3000 at Midas. We will never go back to any Midas now that we see how they really do business.

I was not told all of the issues that was wrong with my car when I requested a quote to repair it. The after I spent almost $3000 I was then told it would cost another $1300 to make it fully safe to drive.I was trapped because I was not told all of the cost up front, I would not have spent the first $3000 if I had known that it was really going to be $4300.This company took advantage of my family. They apparently concluded that since I was invested for so much, I would have no choice but to spend the additional money.

I have visited this Midas 4 times now, 3 times within the same year for the same issue they claimed to have fixed and it cost over $2500 total. The most recent issue happens to be my airflow intake system and they claimed that it was my throttle body and MAP sensor that needed replacing. They were charging close to $1400 for it. The throttle body was going to cost over $600 alone and I priced it myself. It doesnt even cost over $200. Anyway, I didnt trust it so I took my car to the dealership (Chevrolet) and it wasnt even the throttle body. It was just carbon built up in the internal pcv pipe. This service is only costing a little under $800. Two stars is a given, only because one of the workers were nice enough to take me home instead of me having to Uber home. I would only use this Midas as a last resort for an oil change. Nothing more.

Bad experience waited 1 hour just trying to get an estimate to replace a stock exhaust system. I got so frustrated of them telling me they were going to get it right in and put it on the rack. Eventually I took my keys and left and refused to give Midas muffler in rivergate Tennessee ever my business again. I went elsewhere took 5 minutes I got my quote I scheduled my appointment. I would not recommend Midas muffler to anyone. I asked for a quote on a set of tires told him what I wanted he tried to sell me on something he likes on his truck. That is not what I was asking for. Do not use Midas muffler for anything

Took my sisters vehicle for a full synthetic oil change. She bought a Groupon and was out of town for a few days. So, I thought Id help out. The person greeted me for my 2pm appointment and informed me that theres additional money due for the extra quart of oil and special filter and $18.35 would need to be paid. Of course I said fine. He also said that it would be better if you just downloaded the coupon from midas.com and it would be cheaper for me, and they would not have to pay half the money to Groupon. I thanked him for the information and sat down in the waiting room. I think it was roughly an hour and a half visit, which seemed excessive and unacceptable to me, but it had to be done.I usually go to valvoline and rarely think it takes more than 20 minutes without an appointment.Overall, I think midas.com did a good job. It just wouldnt be my go to for an oil change, even if Groupon promoted it.

Extremely slow service. Booked an 9am oil change appointment and 2 hours later im still here. They are helping customers that came in after me! As soon as they see me get up to see what’s going on they take my car to the back. After 2 hours they are just now taking my car back to get started.There is absolutely no reason for me to be here 2+ hours. I hate getting oil changes for this reason. They are so inconsiderate when it comes to your time. Horrible customer service. Listen to the reviews and don’t waste your time coming here. I will not be returning.

Total scam artists. Go in for an oil change and you get scare tactics from the girl at the front desk and the mechanic. I was told that I needed a new axle and stub axle for the front end of my car. A $900 repair. A simple google search told me that stub axles go on the rear axle of a front wheel drive car. I was told to take the back roads to Knoxville and most certainly do not drive it over 60mph or it could be really bad. I was shown a rotor that I don’t believe was mine. They wanted to replace those and the pads. And then they were certain that I wanted an alignment it was so bad. Huh? There was nothing with the way my car drove or sounded. I got my oil change and left. Ridiculous.

The customer service was poor from some of the staff. The young lady at the front desk was more interested in her conversation than getting me rung up and out the door. I agreed to the initial time of 1-2 hours since they were short staffed on a Saturday. I waited an extra 20-25 minutes, with no apology, due to the poor service up front. At least the oil change was fine, although almost 3 hours is a little too long to wait.

DONT COME HERE! I arrived at Midas at 7 am, I was the first customer there. I went in for a simple oil change and to have air put in my tires. When the removed the tires they noticed the axle was damaged, and said it needed to be replaced immediately. I asked the manager how long it would take and he said 1hr-1hr30min. I was there for over 5 hours, and 5+ other people had their cars finished way before mine. This made me late to work which could have cost me my job! On top of that, beforehand the manager told me his name was Robert, but when I left asked name again and he said he was the General Manger, TJ Fowler. So I guess its in the Midas policy to lie.Rude staff as well, plus attacking you with extra unnecessary services!

I felt like they were trying to beat me by finding minor problems and makingthem seem major: Allowed them to make some repairs and they just kept pushing for me to make more when I only went in for oil change. This auto repair shop should not be in business. After spending 13hrs awaiting a$3,535.00 front suspension repair, a rude adam heinz gouged parts prices, fudged labor cost. Heinz told the technician was told 2 take my truck apart then ordered 2008 parts for a 2006 chevy. Very unprofessional...lied 2 me the entire time!!! A front end alignment was not done & had to be done somewhere else...i will never trust any midas shops ever again...update still unable 2 get my trucks abs light fixed. Warranty is not being honored even at another midas!!!

Initially my experience with Midas was great. However, when I decided to not move forward with the service the manager became extremely rude and hostile.She tried to force me to pay for service that had not been performed, then for parts I did not want. She threatened to hold my car until I did so. Once I asked to speak to her manager she told me that there was no one else I could speak to because she was the manager and she speaks for that store. Finally she gave me her managers number but it turned out to be some random strangers number when I called the number!! She then attempted to contact her manager on her personal cell and then said thats weird Im not sure why I dont have his number in my phone.She banged her phone on the counter, said, whatever you can leave I will just eat the cost. I tried to explain to her that the price was just too expensive and I could get it done much cheaper since I have a young daughter and could not pay 800$ at that point and she replied yea, I dont care about that.Gave 2 stars for my initial experience and a great diagnosis done by the techs. I was able to purchase one of the parts needed and replace it myself for less than half of what she quoted me for that one part alone. I understand this is a business but at the same time you should not try to take advantage of your customers or severely overcharge.

Eric, Angel and Brittany charged me $700 to fix my brakes and rotors, front wheel alignment( in which they did not do I just had it checked by another mechanic), and a tuneup. Now all of a sudden my check engine light on my Infinity suv has came on plus my vehicle is jumping while I’m driving. I have never experienced paying a mechanic to tear up my vehicle. When I contacted the shop the Brittany girl cursed me out and Eric whom I spoke with over the phone promised to put coil #4 in my vehicle..... I was like how do you know what’s needed over the phone (setup to get more money out of me)???? I will Be taking a higher approach to this matter. People please be aware this is not a game.

I had car trouble on an out of town trip. They were the closest place open when I exited the freeway. While they could not fix my car, they had diagnostic check as to why my engine light was on, as soon as I pulled up. I was able then to get to a dealership quickly. Very helpful on short notice.

But they charge and arm and a leg and they will try to get you to pay to fix stuff that isnt broke and make sound really urgent unless you tell them you know your cars as I have been twisting wrenchs on cars since i could walk. I was showed the paper they gave her... And knew it was b.s. once i confronted them told them i know my cars and then they changed their tone saying well its recommendations due to mileage but they made it seem like its a major problem that needed immediate attention when talking to my fiancee. Took way too long fixing my car, it was there for over 2 months and then they tried to charge me exorbitant amounts on parts they didnt even know if they had to replace or not, simply because they had changed them hoping they would fix another problem and they let me take the car out twice while having not fixed anything. Eventually got the rest of the work done on my care for free but Ill never be going to his location ever again. Theyre scam artists and most of their mechanics have no clue what theyre doing.

1600.00 to fix my car. Car broke down less than 2 miles down the road right after I picked it up. With in a couple of days, a bolt was not properly replaced, came loose, and almost caused a wreck. I had to take it back. About a month into all of this, my new breaks started squealing very bad. I called the shop and was told that was normal???? It should stop shortly???Less than 3 months after getting the vehicle fixed I took a trip and noticed that when the vehicle hit 60mph, the entire frontend of my vehicle was starting to shake, by 70mph it was so bad I thought I had a flat and pulled over. Took the vehicle back to find the squealing was due to the front brake pads were already wearing down and rubbing the rotators...now mind you, I work from home, my vehicle pretty much sits in the driveway. Also found out the the vehicle was way out of balance.Needless to say, I had to leave the vehicle again and walk home...thinking as I walked in a heat index of over 100Β°, wow 1600.00 dollars spent and here I am walking.So, heres the thing, you want to hang around some cool people who work there...go for it. They were actually going to charge me for something that should have been addressed the first time. But theyre sorry for what happened before. Spent almost 3 1/2 hours there this morning. Previously missed 11 hours of overtime because of them. But theyre sorry. Theres a service bulletin that was put out by the manufacturer regarding my 2016 vehicle. Thats true. But the way I was treated by the previous manager, the money I missed from my job because my vehicle wouldnt start, my trip to see my son before being deployed was ruined...and so on...but its ok because theyre sorry. I recently had my oil changed at this location and before using them my vehicle didnt leak oil the next morning I wake up to find fresh oil underneath my vehicle when I called them to ask what was going on I was told that it was noted that my oil pan needed to be replaced but this wasnt verbally stated when they informed me on my brakes and ball joints they allowed me to leave their facility with oil leaking from my vehicle I was then told that it was stated at the bottom of a three page receipt and there was nothing they were going to do about it. When I go have maintenance on my vehicle I dont care where it written I want to be spoken to in person when Im being told whats wrong with my vehicle I also want to physically see what is wrong with my vehicle I arrived with no issues in that area and left there in worst shape thank you Midas but I will not be returning

Came in for an oil change thats on sale and my service was excellent! The manager there was super helpful and informative. I knew i had some other issues before hand and the tech there noted the problems on his inspection. i ended up getting my work done cheaper than my regular mechanic and will now use Midas from here on out!! Said approximate 2 hour wait and service timeframe around 1:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Completed ahead of estimated time. Received a discount on the oil change that was greater than if Id had a coupon.Recommended tune up. Id had tune up done within the last 60 days. Recommendation was based on mileage. Just wanted to say how amazing my experience was when I walked into what used to be Goodyear and found out it was a Midas. Well right when I walked inn I was greeted with excellent customer service from the worker at the front. I believe her name was brittney. She was excellent and explain what type of oil my car needed and even put a discount on there without me even asking if there were coupons. The techs were very thorough with there inspections and told me everything that was wrong with my car. I needed some extensive repairs done but couldn’t take care of them at that time but will be getting my car serviced by them. They even gave me a price on everything so I could come back and get the same deal.

Absolutely horrible experience. First I was told that my brake pad change was only going to take 30-45 minutes, as I had arrived at opening (8 am) Saturday morning. Then the manager informed me that they always resurfaced rotors -- which 90% of brake shops dont actually do anymore -- and that the wait time would be 2 hours. I told them I understood and waited. And waited. And waited...3 hours in, the poor new kid at the front counter came to me and told me they didnt have the right tool for the EPB on my rear wheels, but the owner had gone to another store to get the tool. An hour later I asked about the status, and it turns out the owner had just left and didnt come back. Come to find out they had no idea how to change rear brakes with an Electronic Parking Brake, so they just slapped the pads back on the rear and thankfully didnt charge me for the resurfacing. 4 1/2 hours to change the front brake pads on my car and now I have a knocking sound coming from the right side of the car, probably caused by something they either didnt tighten or knocked loose.I really cant emphasize enough how bad this experience was.UPDATE: The job they did on the front brakes was so bad I was forced to go to the Mazda dealer and have them redo the work. It shook so bad when braking at speed that things would fall off of my dash. So basically I paid over $200 to sit in their waiting room for 4 hours.

The $19.99 Special is not special after they tack on a $3.50 charge for shop supplies.I should have walked out paying less than $22.00. Instead I paid $25.57. Im not really fussing about $3.50. Rather pointing out that Midas does not disclose extra charges when you surrender your key to them.In case you are wondering, this is the oil change & tire rotation special, but I did not have my tires rotated there. The only place that rotates my tires is where I purchased them: Discount Tire in Hendersonville, Tennessee. They are the best place for tires in my opinion.

The manager TJ signed me up for EZ pay and I was approved.. Thankfully he did the work and got me back on the road the same day.. Ill recommend Midas to anyone. Thanks TJ for going above and beyond.

Stay away from this place!!! My sister just had tires put on her vehicle and a few maintenance things done. She had NO problems with her vehicle, but wanted it to shape for a trip shes taking to see her son off who is being deployed! After receiving her vehicle back its barely starting massive gasoline smell took it back after missing a day of work and they claimed it was fixed. Next day... Same thing, check engine lights on and they are closed!!! They see a woman coming and disregard her complaints as if she doesnt know what she is talking about! Im sure they did absolutely nothing to diagnose what they did to my sisters vehicle!!

Came in with a broken serpentine belt after it snapped within 3 miles of your shop. Your sales person constantly tried to sell me on services I did not need or want. First he tried to say my water pump was bad. Which it wasnt. Then said he thought my AC Compressor had locked up and snapped the belt. Which again it wasnt. He told me if they did not replace the AC Compressor, they could not warranty an work on the belt they were replacing. The actual mechanic working on my car was polite and willing to awnsers questions and did quick work. But your sales person just kept telling one thing after another. Kept talking about a pulley must have locked up to cause the belt to break. And kept asking whether or not I heard the belt squealing before it broke. I told them the only thing I heard was the belt slapping when it broke. No squeling. It was like he was trained to update.They charged me for 2 hours of labor when I watched the mechanic doing the work. He was constantly pulled off of working on my car to help others. Why am I paying for a mechanic to work on someone elses vehicle. It took the young man about an hour to fix my car. And to top it all off. I just happened to pop my hood the next day and found the mechanic had taken off my radiator cap and never replaced it. Not a happy customer!

They were nice. But I could tell they were just trying to take advantage me. I tried to use a $20 oil change coupon and she pretended like my car couldn’t take the oil they would use for that price. Then I told her I would just wait. Then all the sudden she was able to do it for 20 lol. Then I sat there for three hours after she asked if I was in a rush. For them to tell me I needed to change my oil filter and that that there was about $1000 worth of things needing fixed. And also that due to these things they couldn’t change my oil. So I left with..... nothing. 3 hours of nothing.Update:Went back to give another try after I was quoted a decent price for a coil replacement. Went in and she verbally attacked me for this review and said they would β€œnever service my car here” and I told her she was unprofessional and she called me unprofessional lol. πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

I brought my car in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. They brought an issue to my attention that would need to be fixed in the near future about my car. I then asked if that issue could be related to a sound I had been hearing since I got the car. They looked into it and discovered brake fluid had been leaking and that both the brake drums and rotors needed to be replaced. I had been to many other shops and asked about this sound and was told it wasnt of concern. I am so thankful they took the time to look into it and actually listened to my concerns. More so Kristin actually brought me back to my car and showed me what the problem was and where the leaks were coming from. I would highly recommend this shop! Thanks again!

They would not honor the groupon, because they decided they wanted to stop taking them, even though they were good through September 2019! We were assured by Midas we could get a refund through groupon, but groupon refused to refund! My mother was quoted one price over the phone for a full synthetic oil change, they charged nearly double the price! Between their price and groupon my parents were out $150 for an oil change! Unacceptable that Midas made their issue with groupon the problem of the customer! That is no way to conduct business! A problem between two businesses should not fall on the shoulders of the customer! I will never go back and would never recommend them! The excuses given were about Midas being inconvenienced due to different locations having different prices! That is not the consumers problem and Midas needs to honor that contract until that date is up!

I took my Chevy HHR in last week and was told by the manager that I needed front brakes and rotors for a total of 447.00. I thought it seemed odd that he was telling me my rotors were bad so I decided to take my vehicle elsewhere. Turns out I only needed front brake pads and my rotors just needed to be resurfaced and it saved me 250.00 dollars. Be very careful dealing with these people.
