We were really impressed with the size and decor of the store. The stainless steel/chrome looked industrial yet polished. To our surprise there were only two reps working in a very busy location? We were fortunate to have Logan to assist us and even more fortunate to get in on their promotion of upgrading out phones, watches and ipad. Logan was personable and helpful in our transaction. He always had his mask on…kudos to him.I would suggest to housekeeping to clean the stainless rods at the bottom on all sales desk! Lots of lint and dust!Also to the managers….hire more people to work! The line was incredible when we left. Where are the females?We are very excited to pick up our phones late October!

We just finished a purchase/upgrade of 3 iPhones and an IPad for our family. Every went above and beyond to give us the best deal and solved issues and save us time too. One complicated item he worked on without me having to be present just to save me time. I highly recommend this location. Everyone was super nice…..even to our little dog that is really shy. (The background music was good too)
This review is for a visit to order a new phone that was added to our plan. Logan was very helpful in setting up the new line and ordering the phone. He was not pushy when offering accessories, which we already had. William was gracious enough to let me pick the phone up right before closing a few days later when the phone arrived. Overall, our service through Verizon has been a lot more consistent than we had with AT&T. Kieren helped us make the transition between carriers but I was told at our last visit he’s moved on. Overall, the entire staff has been very helpful at this location.
I went to the store today and met with Zak. He is an awesome professional knowledgeable patient and Kind staff member. there were a couple of things about my iPhone and my bill that I could not figure out on my own. I had tried various ways and was unsuccessful. Going to the store today and meeting with Zach he was able to solve both my problems. He was creative in the problem-solving as it wasn’t an easy fix. He was persistent and stuck with it until he got me my answers and fix both scenarios. When I meet staff members such as Zack it makes me want to continue to use Verizon and tell other people about how wonderful he is and verizon is. Thanks so much for hiring him
I was inside an actual Verizon store when I called this retailer store asking about the liquid screen protector that was or wasn’t properly placed onto my screen when I had went in to activate my phones. I had to talk to two different employees that were both overly disrespectful. The inquiry was about the liquid phone protector, how to make sure it was applied correctly and how to remove them safely. Kind of got a “laugh in my face response” from two men who disrespectfully spoke over me the whole time I was asking questions while also belittling me. To the point I had to remind the rep I am a customer and not a friend, so his tone needed to change or I needed to speak to a manager. Apparently there isn’t a manager on duty, and was unable to get the owners contact information to file a complaint. Customer service was so bad — they told me if I wanted that info I would need to contact corporate. Truly about to switch who I do business with based on this experience. Would absolutely never go back. I was also actually at a Verizon wireless store (in person) while talking on the phone with this retailer and they were in shock with how little help was provided. They also mentioned how the “real” stores don’t offer that type of screen protector so they weren’t even convinced the slightest that our was placed on given the response of two terrible team members that I spoke with. Hope they do something to bring a friendlier staff to Goleta!
THE REP WAS VERY GOODHE HOOKED ME UP WITH A NEW M PHONE
A total scam location. My family and I came into this location for assistance on activating phones and accessory purchase and during the initial conversation I had a feeling I was being scammed, because the representative gave me two options. Verizon was going to charge me $50 per phone activation or buy two screen protectors and get the activation fee waived by manager approval. My spouse and I decided to purchase two new screen protectors and get the discount on activation. We never watched the representative place the screen protector on the phone and today when we visited a Verizon store they let us know that our phones don’t have screen protectors. The representative recommended us to call that store and request to speak with a manager or authorized retail owner. We called the store and instead of providing us with customers service we spoke with two representative who were extremely defensive by our questions and decided to hang up on us twice and rudely disregard our concerns. We were prior AT&T customers and decided to switch for a different experience and clearly Verizon does not care for their customers. Extremely disappointed in the experience we had today. We were completely scammed and still trying to get our money back. If you’re reading this post for potential service provider, DON’T SWITCH TO VERIZON. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.
Terrible service, my husbands phone work broke so we went there on a Monday 4/12/21 around 7:33 pm cause he needed to get something right away, we walked in no one even welcome us, you know the usuall welcome we will be right with you it was like we did not even go in like ghosts there where 2 customer service people with clients, so we figure any moment they will say something NADA, we walked around the store looking at the phones and still nothing 🙃 must of been there for about 5 minutes so we walked out and still they did not say a word, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, What a waste of store will NEVER go back to this store. 👎👎👎👎👎

I received excellent service yesterday from William Marroquin-Haslett at Verizon. Another employee could not complete the purchase order two days prior for a new Iphone. If you want to start a new phone plan, go to the Verizon cooperate store in state street, where they won’t charge you 35 dollars for service fee and 20 dollars for a SIM card. I asked the person here if all Verizon customer have to pay for these fee, and they just said yes. After I went home and checked, Verizon cooperated store won’t charge you any service and sim card fee. Avoid this AUTHORIZED RETAILER at all cost if you want to be a new Verizon customer.
I came in because I was having problems with my old phone. Thomas helped me with sorting out the problem and helped me move into a new phone. I am happy that the issue with my old phone did not transfer to my new one. Thank you Thomas you were excellent!
I had a pretty complicated request and there were several technical difficulties along the way, but William helped me and was super awesome, despite the time it took to get everything set up. Definitely deserves props for his perseverance and good attitude.
Beware of this location. They are not a Verizon store, they are just a reseller. All that they do is sell, up-sell, and resell. I sat there for thirty minutes listening to them aggressively sell two elderly ladies. I had a bad SIM card and they wanted to charge me $20. I went to Calle Real and it was $10. Finally, I called Verizon and they said they could give me credit for a SIM card at Calle Real, so it was free. Beware of this store.
I was having trouble with activating my new phone. I went in and Thomas was able to get me up and running. All my contacts and apps and all the things I need were transferred by him. I would recommend anyone to come to this store and work with the sales people here. They were extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Thomas C. and William M. were a great help today.My phone randomly reset itself and was having issues. I went in and the sales people helped with retrieving my information on my device. We talked for a little while and we found out that my phone was many years old and there was a new better option for what I do on my device. I upgraded to the new Moto and they transferred everything.They even did everything for me while I was outside in my vehicle and brought it to me fully taken care of. Ty guys this was a great experience.

Verizon should not allow this business to sell any of their services.Before signing, read everything they try to charge you. In fact in order to avoid this simply visit the actual Verizon store on State Str. or just not go here for your phone needs.I ended up paying for a $300 deal.... no deal at all. LOGAN claims he told me about the deal when I walked into the store, I WAS NOT. He tried pushing me to upgrade my other lines at least 4 times, tried to push me to get an iPad or Apple Watch for “FREE”. Walked out and had to return things since he literally said “it comes with it” never mentioned about a deal. Looking at the invoice there is simply no deal, no discount on anything. I have never been pressured this hard to upgrade or buy anything in my life well except at a car dealership. Verizon should not allow them to further scam people out of their hard earned money.Please just go to the ACTUAL Verizon store or simple call or go online for your business. Verizon will ship you your phone via 2 day shipping and when I bought my iPhone 11 Pro it got to my house the following day.Now I’m stuck paying $90 for a screen protector and back protector. Well I learned my lesson for trying to get the new iPhone same day.

Signed up with Verizon after previous service provider was not meeting my needs. Service representative Zak helped me to sign up for a new plan and explain in detail what services I would get and what my bill would be. He called a few weeks later to confirm that I was happy with my service. When I had additional questions concerning my bill he asked me to come into the store so he could assist and call customer service with me and help resolve the issue. He has spent multiple hours of his time making sure that all my needs were met and the bill was correct. As a retired (tough) administrator I am very sensitive to service employees that merely occupy space. This is not who we experienced today at Verizon. Everardo was fully engaged in the task at hand and handled everything in a very friendly, professional, and expert fashion. Persistence was also required in extracting essential information from a temperamental phone... mission accomplished. I would not take the time to write this if I didnt think that Mr. Garcia is deserving of a raise, but I also assess him as worthy of consideration for increased responsibility and have no doubt he will perform well. Thank you for a pleasant experience... if we still had a company, I would steal him!
I was on mint moble and was not receiving my calls or text. I came into this store and Thomas got me all set up with an account gere at Verizon. He helped me get everthing set up and my calls and texts are coming in again. Thank you Thomas.

Zack was an absolute legend.He helped us get our new phones on the best deal available, was able to get us money back on our old phones, and helped us find a deal to get a second for basically free! He helped my 13 year old brother get hooked up as well and was super patient and attentive to his questions and put his mind at ease switching everything over to his new phone (even though he was super nervous about it). He walked us through activation and saved us a total of about $800 all up during the COVID crisis knowing we could use some help. This local neighborhood store definitely takes care of it’s locals. If I ever need phone help again, you already know where I’m going.Thanks again!

But Tim told me about this Motorola Z4 phone that is a great phone and a reasonable price . Not only that Tim made sure I had all my information from my old phone to the new one ! My customer service reps and his Co-workers was totally awesome. Christian Torres was very helpful and patience - explaining the features of the phone I requested to see and making good suggestions. He gave me the option to select for myself, unlike the young man 2yrs ago at your store. Thomas, Martin and the rest of the Verizon team gave me a good impression of the store. I received excellent customer service and they worked as a Team!I was supposed to come in to pay $30 to pay off my current phone and was suppose to receive a $330 Costco cash card toward my new phone. I ended up buying the phone Christian suggested with $200. Off a Pixel 3 XL and paying out $216. It had everything to do with Outstanding Customer Service. Christian and Thomas was Great!You have a Great Team of young men working at your store! Just want to give a thanks to the rep Tim that works there . I’m not even with Verizon and was thinking of porting over there . Long story short I decided to stay with sprint . But even tho I made that decision Tim still went above and beyond and helped me and my wife with our apples phones .They were a lot of technical issues with them and we thought it was sprint, but from Tim knowledge it was just a thing happening with older Apple phones . Tim helped us solve our phone problem by taking our sim In and out and now our phones work amazing !! He even called on his day off yesterday to check if the phones were okay . Thanks Tim! And In the near future when we consider switching you will be our go to!! We highly recommend Tim!

My mom and I came to this Verizon Cellular Sales store looking to purchase an upgrade from her old phone. Everardo was theemployee that helped us out and went over all the specs and info regarding thesmartphones. We ended up getting the Iphone 11 Pro which seemed to be the best option, as my mother has always had iphones in the past. He had phenomenal customer service and gave us a great experience at the store. Everardo also stayed late after 8 pm in order to further aid my mom with her phone and the transmission of information from her previous phone. We definitely enjoyed our time at the store as we were pleased by the kindness and helpfulness of both Everardo as well as Kieran who also helped us with a few things in the store. Id highly recommend coming to this store if youre looking to get a new phone or purchase other electronics.P.S. Ask for Everardo :)

I was in Goleta on business when a pallet of wine boxes was dropped on my iPhone. Unable to track down info on my insurance, I went to the nearest Verizon store where Thomas C. came up with some instant replacement options that might have worked if I was on an expense account, but no luck there. So he proceeded to spend about 45 minutes to connect me to the right insurance company. He then walked me through the paperwork processing with them to make sure a replacement would be delivered to my office back in Dallas when I returned home the following week. He didnt have to put that much effort into working this out, but he saved me probably three days of hassle trying to work my way through the phone replacement process. Greatly appreciated and a good sign that management is looking down the road (on behalf of Verizon) to make the companys current clients feel appreciated.
This store is unorganized and isn’t prepared to assist corporate Verizon account clients or anyone for that matter. I would avoid this store at all cost. Poor training of new staff. Managers and supervisors are absent while employees need to call them via phone for answers during a purchase with customers. They DO NOT have access to Corp account details They are a mess, staff is recruited from McDonalds just to give you an idea of the level of service you can expect. OMG
Excellent customer service, pleasant & highly professional staff. Thomas C went above and beyond, spending 4 hours with me (!!! wasnt fun, but necessary) making sure I was able to retrieve everything important to me off of my nearly dead phone, getting it all transferred to my new one. He also researched to make sure I was getting the very best deal, checking for every available coupon. I was also very impressed with the customer service I saw others receiving by all the employees at the store. I witnessed a lot of patience, kindness, friendly upbeat attitudes & respect all around from all of the employees at this store to the customers while I was there...and I witnessed some customer service challenges, including my own situation! The staff were also nice to each other making it an all around extremely pleasant experience. Thomas C even called me while I was in the parking lot on my way out to let me know I had left behind a $20 bill hidden in the case of the phone I had traded in. High recommend this store & Thomas C!
I had a particularly difficult situation with another carrier which refused to assist me (and my sales rep. Armando in the Goleta Verizon store). For well over an hour, Armando did everything he could to gain assistance from my previous carrier. We didn’t have a lot of luck, but Armando was exceptionally patient and determined. I got to point of totally losing my temper with my former carrier, but Armando’s calming and competent presence made an extremely stressful situation into a manageable one. He is an asset to your company and to the Goleta store specifically.
The downtown Verizon had to go back to 3 time for everyone to tell me something different, finally I made the drive to Goleta and it was worth the drive Tim helped me out and did a great job and no hassle
Had huge trouble with my lg g7 phone no one could help me fix the phone at any other verizon store but the rep Tim was able to buy my old phone out to get the new Lg G8 and now my problem Is fixed!! Tim also got me a new tablet which I love. Great verizon experience, Tim was great.
My wife and I just went in for a screen cover for her phone. I wish I had gotten the young mans name, but he is over the top friendly and helpful. He gave use white glove service on something he could have easily just have rung up and sent us on our way.I can tell you that he has a new born coming the first week of April, if that helps identify him.That 10 minute visit, I wish I could give him more then five stars.
I came in to get an upgrade to a new phone. I was assisted by Martin whom explained all different features on phones along with prices. Martin was patient on me since I couldnt make my mind on whether to get an iPhone or Google pixel 3A but I was sold to get a google pixel 3A. I enjoyed my conversation with Martin while the paperwork was being completed. I called Martin Next day because I couldnt transfer my contact from my old iPhone to the new pixel, also I wasnt able to receive iPhone text messages but I called the store and Martin was greasily able to help me within 5 mins. Martin has a great attitude and I recommend anyone to go there and ask for him to assist you as he will take care of you from beginning to end. Martin you are the man and most definitely deserve a raise. Thank you for all your help!

Today I had the best experience at this new Verizon store. I was greeted upon walking in the door by a nice and very knowledgeable consultant by the name of Chris Fisher. He took his time and was able to answer all of my questions regarding phones and the right plan for my family. His recommendations allowed me to gain knowledge of different devices that I was not aware of. The new store is very nice, and very professional. I highly recommend it! AAA+++

Don’t be fooled by the Verizon logo on this store. I assumed that this was a Verizon store and therefore trusted the sales rep while purchasing. Little did I know that they had charged me $115 for simply setting up the phone numbers. In addition, the sales representative lied to me by saying that all I need to do is call Verizon and they would waive the $40 activation fees per line.In addition, after leaving I found that one of the phone numbers wasn’t even set up, requiring me to spend 2 hours on the phone with a Verizon tech support. If you want to be lied to and charged an extra $100+, this is the store for you.
Couldn’t believe how unhelpful these guys were today. I owned two phones which I bought at the store and needed to transfer service from one phone to the other. Easy, right? they at first wanted to charge me $35 for the transfer. Then they said I needed a new SIM card and the charge would be $55. It didn’t need a new SIM card at all. One phone call to the Verizon support number got me a $15 credit and I transferred the SIM card and got going. That was it. What a joke these salesmen were trying to pull on me. Awful!

Ive used this particular location for all of my Verizon needs for the past 2 years. Although it seems like I get a different person almost every time the one thing that has been absolutely consistent is they provide top-notch service. Its definitely a sales-driven location, but I have never experienced any kind of high pressure sales tactics in any way. They let me know about new Verizon services but have never tried any of the typical salesman tricks that you might find in other locations. They never waste my time and thats part of the reason that Im happy to drive out to Goleta from Santa Barbara even though I have official Verizon stores closer to me. Good customer service is never a waste of time! Update: 6/22/20 Tim helped me out with a new Pixel 4! Everything I said before is still true! Thanks!

I went to Verizon to start up a plan. Donavyn is the gentleman who helped us. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We walked in and were helped within a few minutes. The guys were hanging out joking with us. Overall it was a pleasant experience. I will be going there for all of my Verizon needs.
Michael was such a big help. Hes very knowledgeable and personable and didnt talk down to me as he was helping me. I recommend you ask for him when coming to this Verizon store.
Had a good experience at this Verizon. The staff were courteous and attentive particularly Nathan. He was a enthusiastic and forth coming guy. It was quite informative. Though the prices were a bit to steep for what I was looking for I enjoyed my time none the less.
Very good service. we want to change or contract from AT&T to Verizon. It was a big challenge but Tina helped us very much with patient for the process. It took her about 1 1/2 hours to complete all things necessary.
I had an amazing experience at the new Verizon store on Hollister. Great friendly staff and very knowledge! Lilly in particular was awesome. I really felt like she wanted to help me find the best option. I will definitely be back to this location and recommend it to everybody!

Tom was very helpful when we first came. Second time we came Manuel, Tina and Jonathan were very helpful too . It was pass closing time and they did not make me feel like i had to rush. Atmosphere was pretty cool too.

Came in to Verizon today to get a new phone/line & had a GREAT experience. I was greeted at the door and taken care of very well. They really took their time to help me out. Awesome customer service. Went from having the worst day ever & came out with a huge smile! Im glad I chose Verizon & not to mention this location. Chris, the manager was really attentive & Shar was so sweet! Will definitely be back!
Great experience. I first called to gather as much info via phone, prior to making a visit in person. Jon, the rep who assisted me via phone also happened to be the one to assist me in person. Very professional, detailed, and explained all items with me the customer in mind, as opposed to wanting to simply get the sale. I would definitely consider returning to this location again for any future needs.

I didn’t know this store was here and the other location was closed. I had issues with activations ans walked in they helped me with open arms. Santina activated my account and had me on my way. Thank you for the help.
Nice guys, but mistakenly read the listed offers available to my account, which caused me to assume I was getting a benefit that in actuality was not available. Just make sure you read ALL of the fine print in the contract so you arent disappointed the next day.
