The gentleman from self-checkout just brought out the 40 bones left in the Cash Back slot. He ran to get back in to help other customers. He’s likely a senior citizen. Well played!

I am from out of town and ordered several trays of meats and cheese, vegetables, fruit, charcuterie,breads, cookies, desserts and fried chicken. I was very impressed by the quantity, quality and appearance. Everything was ready at pickup and looked amazing. We feed 30 people and everyone bragged about the food! Thanks for making our event A success!

King Soopers as a whole is a great supermarket chain with the exception of locations such as this one. I have had problems every time I visit this particular store. Many of the staff are incredibly rude, unprofessional, and angry. I have experienced the staff carelessly leave restocking supplies in heavily trafficked areas in the store, belittle me at the deli counter as they did not approve of my meat selection, and yell at the customers like myself when the self checkout machine malfunctioned. Furthermore, I have experienced vehicle damage in the parking lot as a result of careless handling of shopping carts on multiple occasions by the staff moving shopping carts. The food stocked here--- everything ranging from the produce to the meat and dairy is frequently on its last day of freshness as the stock of food is infrequently rotated at this location. To add insult to injury, the City of Golden collects a 4% sales tax on all grocery items (something which is highly regressive to people with few financial means). By shopping here, you are paying taxes on not so fresh food and dealing with unpleasant people. Unless you are in a serious bind, consider taking your business to a different grocery store who treats their customers respectfully and sells fresh food.Update: I will visit this King Soopers from time to time and see if anything has changed.

Plenty of food and drinks in stock. Nice selection of bakery, fruits and veggies products. This location as a pharmacy, sushi bar and Starbucks.

I often go to this one after hiking because its one of the better king Soopers Ive been to.I cant get over the name of this store with the misspelled super. They shouldve updated the spelling when they updated their logo.

The name pretty much says it all. They also have an excellent collection of bulk spices at great prices. This is where I buy most of my spices.

Produce section is either very picked over or on the verge of going rotten. For the past 2 months I have had to bag my own groceries while the cashier just stands there and watches me do so. No frills here.

Clean, well organized store. I found everything I was looking for. Plenty of self check out lines, no waiting when I was there.

We have had significant issues with the clicklist service. We often receive and are charged for substitutions that we have rejected and are given rotten produce. Some of the substitution choices seem to be rushed. We have often found more reasonable substitutions when we go into the store ourselves. When King Soopers first offered this service they seemed to really care about the customer experience but that is just not the case anymore. It is hard to complain about a free service but I would rather pay the $5 fee for more reliable customer service.

Great experience with their app and curbside pickup. I use it about every week. I’m particularly impressed with how good they are at choosing substitutions when items are out of stock.

Always have what I need. Lines can sometimes be long, but they get me out fast

I love our Kings here in Golden! They have friendly helpful staff. The store is clean, an most of the time they have carts. They remember the regulars. An if they dont have a product that you would like to see, let them know. They have started stocking so items that I requested. Dont bother asking the people who ok work here where anything is. Very unhelpful, rude.

Management does not care about the safety of the customers. Signs and announcements saying that wearing a mask is mandatory, yet they will not say anything to those who refuse to wear them. All they want is the money, they do not care.My wife is high risk due to a breathing issue, so this is very important to us. We had to leave and go to Natural Grocers down the street who do care about the customers, way better service.

Dont use this store for the pharmacy. The techs and pharmacist have a serious attitude. If you’re actually a sick person, not just picking up birth control or allergy meds, these people could create a serious problem for you. I have several meds that keep me from declining and the people here frequently delay my fills. Ive ended up in the ER because they simply couldnt fill a basic script. Ive waited weeks, made numerous calls to them, my doctors and my insurance and they make it impossible to streamline the process. Ive gone here for over 10 years because of the convenient location. No more. Boycott this pharmacy please. They need to understand theyve failed.

Prices are acceptable. Selection is admirable. Experience is exceptional.

Customer service in the deli is appalling Staffing is very poor. At least have the deli manager help out.

This store has the best floors and shopping carts in Golden! If you love drifting your shopping cart while your waifu is spending your money on food, then this is def the place to be! The floors are so nice and clean, that drifting your cart makes little to no noise what so ever! So that means you can have fun drifting and not make your girl mad! What a win! Thank you king soopers!

You all need to check your staff, add some training as I not only saw some staff wearing the mask under their nose, I also saw a cashier stick her finger up way up under her mask, at least twice, like she was messing with her mouth. She then returned to checking someone out without changing gloves or using hand sanitizer on her gloves before proceeding with touching the groceries.

I had the best experience buying Norwegian Salmon from Reenie. She explained what cut was the best and was extremely pleasant to talk to.

Guest service is horrible...I bought 3 things of formula and my daughter got switched I couldn’t return or exchange because I didn’t have the receipt and the lady goes “well I’ll just take them for you” I paid a good amount of money for them not even to exchange it

Deli meat is not pre-sliced so you have to ask for everything at the counter from the lady that speaks english as her 3rd language and takes her sweet time to cut you the worst-smallest pieces of meat. Worst KS in the area.

The best place for your daily food shopping.

I ordered on-line and asked for delivery at 11 and they sent early at 9:15. I asked for 11 because I would have somebody to bring in the house for me. I am handicapped and it .is difficult for me to get things into the house so I usually do not order much but today I was going to have help.

Small old store that’s constantly out of products. On top of that, it’s understaffed. You’ll nearly always been waiting in line to check out, no matter what time of day. Carts are sometimes available, but many times they’re all out in the parking lot. Very poor management.

Great place to shop.They are very accommodating for wheelchairs.I had no trouble navigating the store.Restrooms were clean but I did go in right after they cleaned on another occasion it wasnt as clean and there were no paper towels.Produce looked fresh but to my dismay all the bananas were very green even inthe organic ones so I wasnt able to buy my 4-5 lbs. of bananas that I usually buy.

Had a large cart of groceries at checkout. While the clerk checked the groceries, 4 other associates chatted with the cashier slowing down the process. Non of them bagged the groceries. I bagged my own groceries without help surrounded by 5 employees. I did not realize that king Soopers is actually a daycare. My 3 year old handles more responsibility than some of the employees of the King Soopers daycare center. Some cashiers are outstanding however so I dont want to diminish their efforts.

Best check out times. Super friendly staff, well stocked shelves. The man who works the gas station in the mornings is the best. More then helpful, I look forward to seeing hi and saying hi when Im in the area.

Everyone is so friendly every time I’m in there. They have always been so helpful and kind to make anything right after something is goofed up. Prices are decent and of good quality food. The fresh French bread that they have out is simply amazing. I love this king Soopers!

This store was the worst experience i have ever had at a king soopers or any store for that matter. I have never been treated like i was at this store. I 1st went to the service desk to cash in lottery tickets, i asked the lady if i could cash the tickets in, she let out a sigh grabbed the tickets and she did cash them. Im sorry if i inconvenienced you to do your job, i will cash my tickets elsewhere next time. Then i asked a cashier who was standing there not doing anything if she knew where the uncrustables where. She looked at me and just short of yelling said I DONT KNOW!, Im sorry i bothered you while you werent doing anything, i will buy uncrustables elsewhere because apparently this store dont need my money. Then i got to the checkout and i asked the cashier how he was doing, he said not good. I said that good huh. He said i said not good. When i left that store i felt horrible. I will never shop at that store and be treated so rudely, no thanks i will go down the street where they appreciate my business and treat me accordingly.

The person in the pharmacy was incredibly rude when I asked her to look up a price for me. She had a whole litany of verbage to spew about where I could find a price checker and I should use that in the future. Wow, sorry you had to take 5 seconds out of your day to communicate with a customer. Clearly customer service isnt in your baliwick.

This is a great King Soopers. The produce is usually fresh and tasty. They have a good meat selection. I enjoy the 2 piece dark chicken meal from the deli for only $3.49. They have a good selection of other items as well.My only negatives are that it is often crowded here and there was tricky price labeling on a produce item that would not have worked out in my favor of I wasnt paying attention at the register.

This is a really great store. I have been shopping at the store for about 13 years now and the staff are always polite, and the store is pretty clean. I do wish the King Soopers would carry more consistent health food. It seems like they randomly try things for a month and then switch to another brand. However you can get all the sugar food you want.

Horrible experience at guest services and self checkout. Staff seems Uknowledgeable about products, and front end management seems to like to ignore customers waiting in line, when there’s only 1 clerk at the guest service counter. Alecia, or whoever you spell it, a front end supervisor, looked directly at the six people in line, turned her back and ignored all the customers, and left her employee struggling. Horrible leadership skills.

This particular King Soopers in Golden, Colorado has the WORST customer service almost any given evening. On this particular night they had NO actual cashiers, just self-checkout, even though it was only a few minutes after 8:00 PM. In general in the evenings the cashiers here are slow and appear to prefer talking, especially to eachother, instead of helping customers. I am a regular King Soooers customer but its experiences like this that make me want to shop elsewhere!

Gorgeous spacious, and full of courteous employees. Wow! Just stopped in to grab some quick breakfast vittles, and its such a great location that I decided to have a picnic here in the parking lot

The staff has always been so friendly and personal there. Andrea is awesome! There were a lot of great closeout deals and sale prices today, but I cant give this experience 5 stars because out of the 10 or so packages of strawberries I looked at, all of them were rotting and/or moldy.

A nice KS. They didnt have everything I was looking for. I was trying to use coupons loaded to Sooper card, employee tried to find item I was looking for and he couldnt find it either.

Very disappointed in customer service here tonight! After unpacking all of my bags, I noticed I was missing one. It contained over $17.00 worth of items. I immediately called customer service and was told it was left behind, but the items were all returned to the shelf because Doug, didnt think anyone would be back to get them. Not even 20 minutes had passed. I drove back and had to go and get the items off the shelf again because Doug was busy at service desk. I asked for a manager. Jasmen (I think) told me their policy is to return items left behind if not claimed after 20 minutes! Wow - how nice...dont worry about the customer. Just sell everything a second time!!!

Very friendly staff, good food, good prices. That being said: the major reason for the 2/5 star rating is the drastic change from a 24 hour store to cutting out the only convenient time of day for my family to head to the store. There is very little 24 hour competition in the Golden area (only two things I could find outside of emergency services were circle k and Dennys), so they previously had the market cornered. Alternative work schedules from 9-5 exist (they still have overnight stockers), so its frustrating that they dont allow for the convenience of hiring one extra person to run the front cash registers...

Very few registers open. Almost all self check out. I dont get a discount for bagging my groceries. Please open more registers or offer employee discount at self serve.

We were just in and forgot to use a coupon and went to customer service and Chad took care of us. He was so nice and made everything a breeze.

They have extremely rude staff! Especially their in store shopper with the big dolly carts she has black hair, she’s young, works in the evening! She walks around like she owns the store hitting people really hard with her cart! Then the adolescent front end managers who laugh about the incident where very unprofessional as she had injured and bruised the back of my legs because of it!!

Usually I love this Kings Soopers but today when I came in the customer serservice was absolutely rude.

Im sure the food is fine and the staff is friendly, but I went to pick up a sympathy card. Out of a full aisle of cards, they only had four to choose from. Kind of frustrating when a store has a row of cards that say things like You, me...sexy time but almost nothing for when someone dies.

This is my usual King Soopers. They dont always have everything I need at this location but its a busy location and the employees are always respectful and nice. The store is clean and presentable.

They were the life force out here passed Midnight. Several people came to the store. Now they close at Midnight, with everything else in Golden. When you walk in, 5 minutes before they close.... no hello, no can I help you? Just Um we close in 5 minutes. No appreciation for the people who have been coming for years. Remembering the 24hour days.... Sour taste about all Kings now...

Love this place, go there all the time at all hours of the day and night. Staff is pretty friendly no matter what and great selection always. I go here for almost everything.

Click list employee a few months ago took time out of her day to show me where Olives were. Didnt get her name but i really appreciated it she was Short with purple hair with lip piercings.

Great store just need to up date hours of money services web site says 6am but don’t open till 7am. The 2 stars are for the web site.

The salads were picked over and haphazardly in their place within the produce section. There were some pre-packaged salads that were wilting. The self-service checkout stations were not sensitive enough know when the item was placed in the bags. The point of sales system was not smart enough to know that when I was paying, I was ready to be done with my transaction...it prompted me to answer multiple questions before I could just finish. I have been at Walmart Neighborhood Markets that provide far better quality and service.

Front end supervisors and clerks are amazing. Always friendly and helpful. The managers have their days. Most of them are days where they dont have time for the customers.

So many friendly, helpful associates. . Sales, too. I would definitely shop here again

Hi there everyone, first I have to say most of the people and my experiences at King Soopers are positive. I dont particularly like posting anything negative. With that being said, I get so frustrated with the deli, at all their stores. Ive never come across such a wide variety of workers who hate their jobs! And it shows. Do they need more help, more pay? What is the problem? I actually get a knot in my stomach if I know I want to stop at the deli. I was there on Monday, July 17, 2017, about 12:30pm. It was myself and 2 other ladies waiting to be served. No one even acknowledges our precense for at least a minute and a half. Then a girl helps the first lady. Meanwhile me and the other lady are standing there. There are people behind the counter working, people stocking cheese, even the store manager walks by with a clipboard and talks to a clerk putting chickens in the roasting oven! Not a word to the lady and myself. The next lady left. I waited another minute and a half and also left. I was going to spend $20.00 in lunch meat and cheese, for workers at my house. Guess what? Bought packaged luchmeat at the meat section. Just imagine how many sales youre losing. Imagine how much more money you could be making of anyone cared. I get really sick of hearing the customer always comes first, really? Its a lost concept everywhere. So sad! Especially when corporations are only driven by money. You want us to believe its about customers, but thats a gimmick. Ill still be at your store at least 5 times a week, but Ill start frequenting the mom and pop Dells in town. I was there earlier this afternoon with my children. There was a manager by the name of Patty. I put the term manager in quotations because she was everything but. She was very short, snappy and rude to other employees on the floor. She was rude enough that my two year old covered his ears, begging me to make it stop, mommy. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on, especially if this is how management treats other employees. Unbelievable!!!

Decent clean store, just buy your produce and fruit elsewhere. This store must be on the end of the line, their produce and fruit has dropped in quality massively over the past couple years. We have used this location for over a decade, but the produce quality has dropped severely, so we have just gone elsewhere.

My first visit: good produce selection, healthy and fresh. Friendly staff. Good layout. Lots of healthy options. Moderate pricing.

I was there this morning and the white employees seem to be very comfortable doing cartoonish, exaggerated impressions of black people. Management needs to go over racial sensitivity training again. This King Soopers is not for everybody.
