Leanne and her team are the best. I’d vote for her to be president! Pioneer Golden offers very knowledgeable and friendly services. They have huge flagstone pieces. A bunch of breeze colors. The product is high quality and there’s a really great selection. It’s convenient you can grab landscape timbers while you’re there. Can’t say enough about the staff — all so terrific!

JD had a lot going on but did a great job hooking us up with the correct order quickly. And it got delivered to our site the same day by a great young lady who knew what she was doing. She dropped it right where we wanted.

This was my first time to visit Pioneer Golden. JD handled the transaction quickly and directed me to where I needed to go to have my truck loaded. I asked for 800lbs of 3/8 gravel and the operator of the loader dropped just a tiny bit over what I asked for. Unreal! The whole staff is friendly and very accurate.

Ive been to this pioneer landscape center twice now. It has a great selection of boulders and the staff is really helpful, JD in particular. Hes got a great attitude and knows his stuff. Its nice knowing I can find both the materials and help I need at pioneer landscape in Golden.

We used the Littleton office to regravel our driveway that has a hill, before winter. Driver John Stone was courteous and fast. He put the gravel where we wanted it and we spread it from there. Nice work from a great company.

Went to Pioneer Golden on a Sunday to price out landscape pavers and thanks to JD as he was willing to take the time to determine existing inventory and help me identifying pallets. Hopefully Pioneer can keep their customer service at this level, it is much appreciated. .

JD was absolutely awesome. I was building a hot tub pad with gravel and he walked me through every facet of what I needed to know as well as helped pick out the right gravel. I gave him my measurements for the project and stated that it comes out to roughly 1.9 yd.³ without any notes, he was able to convert this into tons in his head; totally pressed. Unfortunately, my trailer would not hold the 2.7 tons I needed and had to make two trips.On the first trip I got 1.6 tons and re-calculated what I needed and went back and got the remaining 1.1 tons which filled the space perfectly. Also to note, Loren is fantastic at loading. He drives that giant front loader with precision and efficiency. I highly recommend this location of Pioneer and definitely look out for JD and Loren, they are fantastic. The other gentleman who checks you out there was also very nice and easy to deal with on the transaction.

JD was a huge help, both on the phone and in person. I was tagged with a honey-do of building a sandbox for my kids last week, and needed help determining which kind of sand to use, and how much to order. He was able to arrange a delivery of 2.5 TONS of play sand to my driveway in a matter of hours. JD saved me a ton of time and about $150 over buying bags and hauling them myself.

Drove up to Pioneer Landscape Golden on Saturday afternoon and pulled up on the scale. JD helped us and set up our account right there. We picked through the flagstone and loaded our vehicle. Then we drove around and on to the scale again. JD quickly got our weight and we were able to quickly make payment right there, without going into the building.

I was helped today by JD. He was so friendly and helpful! He obviously has worked for Pioneer for awhile because he was very informative. I hope when I come in again he is there. He made my purchase go smoothly!Thank you JD

Bob?) were SUPER helpful every step of the way. Lots of variety - we tried 2 other places without finding what we liked, but we found good options here. Prices seem reasonable too! They also told us when our car looked too full - which probably saved us from an expensive mistake. Thanks guys!

Ordered some Breckenridge Gold gravel for my driveway in Eldorado Springs. JD was very helpful and arranged a bobtail dump truck which was able to get into my very tight narrow site. Arvada yard - Good people, great product, always friendly. Broomfield - Good people, great product but crowded trying to self load in the aisles but I know the deal when I go there. I would like to see drive in weight and final load weight on receipts like the old system. I see the total tonnage weight charged but start and final was nice. Really for nothing more than a want than a need.

Pioneer used to be a company I could rely on. After my recent experience I am sorry to have to say not anymore. I ordered a delivery of Rip Rap for deliver last Friday. The delivery was schedule for between 1:00 to 2:00 PM. At 2:00 I call the Golden office and was told it would be there at 3:00 to 3:30. At 3:45 I called again and was told it was on the way. At 4;15 the driver call to tell me he was lost. The address he had been given was wrong and he was 45 minutes away. I called the Golden office again and requested that the delivery be rescheduled for Saturday morning. I was was told it would arrive around 8:00 AM. Next morning at 9:00 I called the Golden office and was told the truck was on the way and would arrive at 10:00. The truck finally showed up at 11:30. 6 hours of my time lost and then it gets worse. Driver drops the load and leaves without providing a receipt. The rock delivered is not the 5 to 18 I ordered, it is the large 12 to 24 some of which will be very hard to move by hand. Finally this morning I get an overdraft notice from my bank. Your company has charged me twice for the same order. Not sure what has happened to your company but I will tell you that this is not how you used to work.

Prodect was great, pick up at yard was fine. Delivery service is seriously lacking! I called for a delivery, first available date was a week out. Set up the appointment. At 8:00 sharp on the expected delivery date, someone from dispatch called to confirm. He said they would be there between 10:00 and noon. I had already arranged for someone to be there. At 9:00, my elderly disabled neighbor called me to say there was a big truck at my place, she heard the backup alarm! I convinced another neighbor to go there and sign for the delivery. Before he got there, the driver left. My neighbor chased him down in the car, all the way back to the golden yard,where the driver refused to return. He said there was no cell service, so he couldnt call me. This is true, but Im pretty sure the phones clock still works!! I called dispatch back, they said they wold transfer me to golden office phone, but instead, they hung up on me. I called the golden office number where they apologized and offered to transfer me to dispatch to reschedule??? Upon hearing my story, the girl at the golden office offered to talk to dispatch for me and set it all up. She did, and told me they would deliver between 3:00 and 5:00. She said they would call first. The person i originally arranged to meet them stayed the rest of the day, and good thing, because the driver showed up at 2:50 without calling. In the end, i received my product, used up every favor with my neighbors, wasted 5 hours of my friends time, and a couple hours of mine. And all because there drivers cant read a clock. Most expensive delivery ever!

I love this Pioneer sand. They have been nothing but useless to me. Theyve told me they had something in stock that they didnt actually have so I wasted a trip that time then they refused to load up rocks over 4 in diameter. They said their boss will not let them load the rocks in a truck since they bounce and can cause damage. They would have loaded the rocks in my flat bed trailer that would have been impossible to retain and caused more damage to the trailer than my truck though! The reason I love them is that, because of these issues, Ive found APC landscape on 44th and McIntyre. They happily loaded up 6 cobblestone in my truck without any damage and it was 1/3rd the price Pioneer would have been! Ill be giving my business to APC from here on. Thanks for showing me the light, Pioneer!

The driver never made the drop off on time for our school project. order a day in advance. I really needed this play mulch for our playground. Not happy very poor service. Jeffco public schools

I needed something from homedepo and decided to call them again to verify.Me hey I have another address in case you get lost. Its the neighborsThem okMe and again I wont have service but Im tilling out front all dayThem okHour past delivery.I drive down to call them.Me hey just checking on my deliveryThem we couldnt get a hold of youMe I said I wouldnt have service multiple timesThem well he went there and couldnt find youMe I was out front the whole timeThem the best we can do is deliver on MonMe I just want a refund thanksI later check my voice mail messages and the driver not only didnt have the neighbors address or a note about me not having service, he also didnt even have the right street name!!.... How was he at my house when he doesnt even know my address!!!Its impressive there still in business. No wonder there ratings are SOOOO LOW. Cost me days for refunded money and 150 cash for my trip up to the job site.I have to now waste more of my time scheduling another work day just to do 2 yards of potting mix. Over all 330$ mistake plus 160 locked in refunds. Bogus.
