Tare CH4 loaders CH8 Exit scale CH7. This place is one that you should get to know from someone who has been here before. Some areas where materials are loaded change through out the day. As soon as you go through the gate go right and youll find the tare scale. Sign in, ask for info or a map there. When you get your material and youre at the hazardous intersection this pic shows how you line up for the exit scale of there is a line. Everyone yells or complains about cutters, but no one tells the noobs how to line up. This place is alright except for one loader who seems to have OCD or something. If you dont angle your truck perfectly Mario will send you back around. Whether its a medical condition or just an attitude problem it shouldnt fall on the truckers to have to contend with him. I can only imagine how much money is lost by the truckers and the pit because this guy seems to hate his job. Good luck out there truckers and be safe.
I’ve had 3 windows broken in less than a year from the trucks pulling onto 70. Nobody knows how to sweep their trucks after loading. My main priority is STAY away from the trucks. Why don’t u do all of us a favor..and go away.
This place is the most cluttered, disorganized chaotic place to load anything. Youll have 20 people trying to use the only CB channel at the same time all trying to navigate a chaotic mess of a pit with only a piss poor inaccurate hand drawn map, no helpful navigational signs and no clear direction to anything.Every other pit Ive been to in Colorado is very organized and easy to navigate with good communication. This place is always a nightmare every time I go to load material.
Ordered 40 tons of riprap for a Gabion wall project, was told repeatedly over the phone the riprap would have a size parameter of 3-12, with an average of 6. I explained very clearly to both the sales person, the dispatcher, and the manager what we needed. They all said no problem, that is what youll get. The trucks show up filled with huge boulders averaging approximately 18-24 in diameter, not even close to what was specified throughout the ordering process. I send back the material as it is not what was specified.I call and explain the situation to a manager, explain that this is an emergency situation with a wall near a home that is actively collapsing and we need to stabilize it now. She says shell look into it and get the right stuff sent out. At this point everything is fine. As a business owner I understand mistakes happen, and when they do it is your responsibility as a business owner to make it right. This is not what happened. The manager calls me back an hour later and basically says, tough s**t, we sent the right stuff, and were not sending you any more. Well no, they didnt. The engineer who designed the wall was standing right there with me and we both clearly saw, plain as day, that the riprap was FAR beyond the engineered specifications we requested. Some of the worst, most rude customer service Ive ever received in my life. Now we have a wall that is collapsing near a home on a precarious hillside, equipment rented and sitting idle etc. Very poor business practices, will not be using them again.
Polite and helpful. Not a bad experience.
I was discriminated against and the Loader wouldnt load me for no reason.
