Good as it gets for fast chicken. Perhaps smaller than Wawa or Quickcheck. Her really better atmosphere. Seating and nicer restrooms

The prices were very high even compared to Wawa. But the employees and manager on duty was very awesome and helpful. I dont particularly like that this royal farms is right across the street from a motel and it seems like a lot of shady people come in and out, no offense, obviously not their fault.. Its a good idea to keep an eye on your surroundings and like I said the employees and manager were awesome so im sure if you brought anything to thier attention they would handle it.

My chicken is crispy, crunchy, tender, juicy, hot and tasty. Way better than most fast food and many restaurants you can think of. Definitely five stars for my experience.

I agree with everyone about how cold the chicken is. Ive gone to this location multiple times due to convenience and today will absolutely be my last. Chicken is extremely dry and stringy and at best room temp. Biscuits basically turn to dust when attempting to eat. Maybe other locations are better. This one needs help.

Hang out for local younger crowd. Store was clean and service was good. Mens room could use some attention.

They run specials and then upper management make sure that they do never have extra large cups As Told by an employee hows that for good business

Last time me and my young granddaughter went, we ordered the chicken. we wanted to try Royal farms out because weve always been going to Wawa. she was excited as chicken is her favorite meal. however when we received the chicken it was small.. dry and it wasnt even warm. to say the least Im very disappointed in Royal farms and will never be returning to that location.

Went for some of their world famous chicken, it was good! store was decent. staff were friendly.

The chicken is lukewarm. You cannot find the advertised sandwich in the automated menu. After a couple minutes going back and forth through the confusing system, I chose some other sandwich that cost me $7 and was so small Id call it a slider more than a sandwich. There was this horrible beeping noise going off in the store, which was not welcome to my ears at 7am. Employees seem sad and confused. And as others have commented, the check out is automated but slower than a human cashier.

How do you fathom charging 8 dollars for this????

I just got home from getting gas here. When I got out of the truck my gas cap was dangling and the door was open! I don’t know how you forgot to close it? I’m glad I only had 10 minute drive and nothing happened. I guess from now on I’ll have to get out of the truck and do it myself. Pretty strange. Never had that happen anywhere before.

It was very crowded but the cook went out of his way to accommodate me on something I couldnt find on the menu. Thats the reason for the five stars. Their prices are adequate and they have seating inside and out.

It was my first trip to Royal Farms. I was having company for lunch and wanted to get some chicken tenders which was a huge hit. Everyone loved them. I am giving 4 stars because I didnt get a chance to look around as I was in a hurry. But Id give Stephanie behind the chicken counter at least 5 stars! She was very helpful assisting me to place my order (It was a little challenging for me lol). She was very pleasant and a great representative of Royal Farms! Thank you Stephanie!

Growing up in the Philadelphia area Pathmark supermarket chain had the best fried chicken. When they closed up shop I didnt think we would have anything as good ever again. Im happy to say that Royal farms chicken is as good as I remember Pathmark chicken to be and on top of that I could fill up my tank with gas and get a good hot cup of coffee. Excellent combination friendly helpful staff and a convenient location rounds this out to a good location to visit. Enjoy!

Tastes like how you think chicken from a gas station would taste. First time I ever saw fried chicken so greasy it dripped. Even the exterior of the box was slick with grease. Chewy biscuits. Soggy fries.

Place is understaffed and the gas station is closed half the time I go there due to lack of help. This company needs to get their act together. I’ll just go to trusty wawa next time.

Customer service is Horrible, All automated checkout, Literally every single time I have come in to Get Tobacco it is a 3-5+ Minute wait never anyone available to Man the 2 Regular registers that are available, They must hate Diabetics Because there is hardly ever a selection of Rofo Diet teas available, And chicken is always dried out Dont know what the issue is Between The Locations In Deleware and Maryland and here in New Jersey but this location is in desperate need of New management and full restraining, Looks like im heading Back to WaWa

I have worked in food service for a good portion of my life so I get mistakes happen so when I brought it to the attention of the woman making my sandwich I apologized and said I didnt want mayo on it. She then replied well you should have said no mayo then. This is my first time ordering from here so I said Im sorry I didnt see that as an option nor did I see that mayo automatically came on the chicken tender sub that I order, which was a build your own. She then replied with even more attitude then she already had relax so I said excuse me to which she repeated relax. I always go out of my way to be extra nice especially when there is something wrong with my order because I know what its like. I have never been treated so unkindly so I will absolutely not be returning

Chicken was very good. a little greasy but flavorful. Would have given 5 stars except for, we ordered 4 wings and 4 breasts and only got 3 of each. didnt notice until we got home. 7 miles away. sides werent very good. next time ill count the pieces before leaving

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would the staff is very rude and ignorant. On 3 separate occasions, I went to buy milk and on all 3 occasions, the milk on the entire shelf was all expired by at least 2 days. When Ive gone to management about this, they just simply get one from the cooler and leave the expired milk on the shelf, which is very UN sanitary!!! Clearly management doesnt care & neither do the employees. Do yourself a favor and skip this place and just go to Wawa or anywhere else. Im sure it will be better.

So I see from other reviews, my experience was not out of the ordinary . After work I stopped to get gas and a bite to eat, at 10pm, 2 pumps, not stations but only 2 pumps were open, which neither could be used as both drivers were in the store shopping, the attendant was in the booth on their phone, nice customer service. Needless to say I did not stop, went down the street where I received service. If this place wants to stay in business and compete with Wawa, which by the way they are building right down the street, they better step up their game.

Dirty place, out of order equipments, show off crew. I should leave when I heard the employees yelling to each others, I wasnt smart to take such decision so I got two legs of chicken one with red meat ( looks like blood in cooked chicken ) and one only bone and skin. Looking for soda, I had a none working soda machine, and the fun part is a dirty table. I liked the potatoes even though it wasnt hot enough, and enjoyed the outide look to Gloucester City.I will never go to this place, and maybe never to a Royal Farms stores. It was my first time, and probably my last...

I didnt see a nametag for him, but the gas station attendant who pumps your gas with the dirty blond hair was very kind. I appreciated his concern for my well being.

0 stars for the rude staff. I stopped here to get gas. I waited at the pump for a few minutes. I see other cars pull in and get gas right away. Finally, I got out of my car to get the attendants attention. The attendant looked high, unmotivated, lazy and frankly rude. I should have went up the road to the wawa.

Staff are friendly !! Self check out was a cool thing to see, especially for a gas station !! I was alright with it ! Everything was clean and orderly and everything was priced to move as well as having a lot of options for me being an out of town picky person ! Gas was the cheapest in the whole area which is what made me stop after knowing that I had to fill up before I started my trip back to Maine ! Glad I stopped thank you Royal Farms !!!!

Well I ordered chicken it could have been crisped up a little better,i had to check it to make sure it was cooked all the way, was salty but good,forgot to add fries to my wifes order when it was brought up they gave them to us,will probably try the coffee tomorrow.

It’s around 11:30 pm on a Saturday night and went here to get food. If you wanna call it Edible I bit into my chicken tender and it was so hard to chew I almost Choked. Then I was over charged for food I never ordered. They changed there gravy it’s so gross and taste like powder. This place has been a fail since it opened!!

Food is on this expensive side and just... disgusting. I got chicken (because of all the hype I’ve been hearing), potato wedges, and mac & cheese. Chicken was UNBELIEVABLY salty and potato wedges were sooooo bland. Let’s just say after eating some of it I felt like I got acid dumped on me. And don’t even bother getting the Mac and cheese- you’re better off making kraft out the box!

It is about time and theres competition for Wawa its a new business thats just starting there going to be a few bumps in the road they have establish themselves in other states and they are doing exceptional business with other businesses in the area thats been there for quite some time Royal Farms will take hold in New Jersey just wait and see.
