Esperienza casereccia, in un locale all’altezza del nome “osteria”. La cameriera che ci ha accolti è stata gentile e cordiale, ci ha saputo raccontare quelli che sono i piatti riproposti e ci ha consigliato proprio bene. Il proprietario è proprio la persona che definisco “Oste”, non solo per il suo titolo ma anche per il suo modo di fare.Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene e ci siamo trovati altrettanto bene, complimenti anche allo chef!

Bel ristorante dove si trova unatmosfera famigliare. I piatti sono quelli della tradizione della bassa Modenese. I sapori sono quelli di una volta golosi e invitanti. Si ritrovano i maccheroni col pettine, i bigoli col tornio, i tortelloni di zucca., il gnocco al forno, il gnocco fritto e tanti altre squisitezza. I sughi vari e golosi sempre legati alle tradizioni come pure i dolci. Il servizio è veloce e gentile. Insomma un locale dove si sta bene e si mangia bene.

Traditional cuisine, true, genuine, fresh; congratulations to the kitchen staff. Exceptional value for money. What can I say, super recommended for the things mentioned above but above all for that atmosphere that makes you feel at home and pampered.

What you see in the picture is not an encore of first courses, it is magic. Pumpkin gnocchi accompanied by pancetta and radicchio ravioli with parmesan cream, vinegar and crispy ham. All truly exceptional. The price is absolutely worth the quality of the food: € 20 for an appetizer, an encore of first courses and water.

Fantastic welcome, just reading the menu makes your mouth water. Clean room. The first courses are fantastic, the meat more and you drink better. I tasted a lot of stuff but I will definitely go back for the rest. Marco is the best, the typical innkeeper of the past. It is if you look bad that you have drunk a few too many drinks upstairs there are splendid rooms to spend the night. Highly recommended !!

Very welcoming and familiar place with friendly and hospitable staff and managers. I tried the traditional appetizer, the tortelloni with gorgonzola and crispy culatello and finally a taste of traditional desserts. All abundant and very good. The excellent cured meats accompanied by fried dumplings, gnocco and wholemeal piada were a pleasant prelude totortelloni of freshly made pasta, as well as my daughters tagliata. The excellent traditional desserts accompanied by a yellow and fresh mascarpone just like my mother-in-law did at Sunday lunch. The bill wasa welcome surprise, really good especially in relation to the quality / price. And we also have a small but welcome final discount.Really to try and maybe come back to try all the specialties on the menu.

Excellent quality of courses, welcoming environment that makes you feel you are well and able to communicate even by speaking confidentially and softly. I have had two bad experiences on two different visits to this restaurant.The first time I was pregnant, with related food restrictions that the restaurant staff completely ignored resulting in a very bad experience and I had to go away hungry.The second time was after the birth of my daughter, at a lunch with a group of friends. We were greeted by small but expensive portions, a poorly maintained bathroom, small and shared between males and females, and finally a place that professes itself “for families” but which has failed to provide the most basic need for a child seat. In fact, what they provided us was unsafe and not built with occupant safety in mind.The icing on the cake made my review go from two stars to one star, and if I could go to zero I would. After my original review, the owner of the restaurant (or who manages the reviews) decided to answer me by insulting my tastes in the kitchen in a passive-aggressive tone, saying that since I like Chinese and Japanese cuisine I clearly cannot understand the class of their kitchen.The food served in this place is not bad in itself, but Emilia Romagna has hundreds of other places where, not only are the portions more abundant and less expensive, but the staff would never allow themselves to insult a customer, future or past.

The inn has become my nest. It is a small corner of paradise, quiet, welcoming and reserved. The rooms are splendid. My favorite is the Emerald, a jewel in this jewelry box. Excellent black truffle at the last dinner I had at the inn. They are very good, fresh ingredients, interesting menus. Inn casually met to return from a tour in the Modena area. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the menu. Update 4/07/2020We had a lunch of fried dumplings, focaccia and wholemeal piadina made by the owner and cured meats with a first course of striped macaroni and donkey stew. Fresh Lambrusco.Wonderful.We had a great time in the covered outdoor area.All service was managed optimally for Covid.My two children aged 5 and 7 ate a plate of homemade pasta with beef tenderloin ragù which gives a marvel.Go eat at the Locanda because you really eat Emilia from those areas.The rooms are cleaned daily and everything is done in such a way that the pandemic can be managed properly.TV, free wifi, mosquito nets, double glazed windows because we are in the countryside but close to a road. For me, who lived my grandparents in Mirandolese, it is a habit: state road, ditch, house.Attention to those with different abilities because there are stairs to access the rooms. Simple and elegant at the same time excellent for a dinner with real friends

Nothing to take away from the a la carte menu, but yesterday the Christmas menu left a lot to be desired, starting with the appetizer, in which there was a capon with a lot of jelly that didnt quite match the rest of the menu. We also found the rude waiter who, besides not having taken away even one of the bottles of wine and empty water, has been reluctant to change our flat where they had eaten the breadcrumbs with the knuckle, when they served stuffed guinea fowl.

Positif: La chambre est spacieuse et propre, la literie est également très bien. Aucun souci pour se garer, il y a un parking privatif. Le prix est très correct au vu des prestations !. Négatif: La chambre étant juste au-dessus du restaurant, le bruit peut être incommodant. Il faut réserver : le patron (?) devait demander si il était encore possible de nous trouver une table, et ne nous a jamais donné de réponse. Létablissement est situé à lécart de la ville, prévoyez donc le coup. Laccueil, bien quaimable, était sommaire. Je vous conseille de savoir parler italien. Létablissement ne propose pas de petit déjeuner, une bouilloire dans la chambre aurait été appréciable. Et surtout, narrivez pas avant 18h30, voire un peu après : vous ne trouverez effectivement personne sur place..

We took advantage of the excellent Emilian hospitality for a weekend in San Felice sul Panaro, on the occasion of Fotoincontri 2013.Marco, the histrionic owner, welcomed us on Friday evening at past 10:30 pm, with whats left in the kitchen: an appetizer of mixed DOP cold cuts accompanied by an excellent mountain piada and the inevitable fried dumpling; followed by bigoli with sauce and meatballs and a taste of risotto with porcini mushrooms. At the next offer of tagliata, given the time and despite the goodness of the dishes, we passed the hand, postponing the deepening to the following evening.On Saturday, in fact, we found a fabulous risotto with cheeses waiting for us, in a basket of Parmesan cheese and some very tasty strips of beef with turnip tops and asparagus.All washed down by the excellent selection of local DOC wines.Obviously, the taste of mixed desserts has never been missed, from the homemade sponge cake to the delicious mascarpone cream.We also stayed overnight in the rooms just above the restaurant, furnished with an original shabby-chic touch; spotless and very comfortable.

A lovely place! A bit difficult to find with the navigator but it definitely pays off, once you find it!I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this beautiful restaurant / renting rooms on the occasion of the photographic event held in San Felice sul Panaro on May 25th.I arrived, along with 4 other friends, on Friday evening at 10.30pm: not knowing where to eat, I contacted the owner by phone to warn him of late arrival and to ask him if, despite this, we could find something to eat . He replied yes, but given the time, we should have been satisfied with what the kitchen had ready for. I replied there would be no problem mentally preparing to have to eat a piadina or I know! Instead, once arrived, he welcomed us with three different types of appetizers (fried dumplings, baked gnocchi and piadina montanara), two different types of first courses (green gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and tagliatelle with meatballs) ... and he would have liked to have also a cut of meat that we kindly refused since we were full. Nevertheless we delighted the palate with a mixed plate of delicious desserts containing zuppa inglese, chocolate cake, mascarpone cream (delicious) ... in short, a joy for the palate, for the eyes given how cute the place is and how rich it is both the presentation of the dishes and the wallet, since eating so well and so abundant for only 25-30 euros is still a luxury for me.A note in favor of the dining room staff: fantastic! All very kind and extremely available as well as very very good.After dinner we went to sleep upstairs where we had booked the rooms: since we were a landlord our expectations were certainly not exorbitant but we had to change our minds!The rooms (approx. 60 euros / night), very well kept, spacious and furnished in shabby chic style were worthy of the best of the farmhouses; in the bathroom small sets of herbal products were very welcome, the very comfortable beds offered us a good rest. In short, a place full of surprises!In short, really a wonderful place: Im sure to come back and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Typical cuisine of excellence !! I have been there many times including Christmas where I ate very well even though I was very full. Where to start .. The starter of the traditional delicious, but be careful that it fills and then you have to choose whether it is worth eating the first or the second. This choice is difficult because the former are the end of the world, but the meat is no less so, the cut is very tender melts in the mouth!
