Wow, I called a week ago to make an appointment for a warranty issue. I was not told about an upfront diagnostic fee of 140 dollars, even after I asked. I was told that they have over 10 people that work and answer phones there, well training is a must when people are trying to make smart decisions regarding vehicles. I was also told that any updates my system needed is not covered by my warranty and therefore would be an additional charge on my certified vehicle! New to MD and my dealership back home treated every customer like family, and made sure all service information was given upfront, worked hard for the customer. Disappointing.

I went in for a simple oil change before my family vacation to OBX. On the drive down I smelled an oil burning smell, which I assumed it was the car in front of me. When I got home from vacation, I was cleaning my Wrangler and noticed that the oil cap was not closed and oil spilled all over my motor and hood. I contacted Tate and expressed my concern about my motor and they basically dismissed it ‘stating that no damage was done ‘. Etc... they didn’t even apologize for their screw up. I’ve had jeeps all my life and have been going to Tate Glen Burnie for a decade. And before that I went to Ourisman in Clarksville. The poor service that Glen Burnie provided has me looking for a better Jeep service center. Sorry Tate Service you lost a customer.
