I knew going in I was requesting more service than my vehicle needed. The staff was honest and provided advice on services I needed and didnt need. As I waited for my vehicle, I observed their staff interact with other customers and all I can say is they really go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Shout out to Bill, who really makes you feel like your working with a friend.

These folks took good care of me. Brought my truck in on a Saturday and they mentioned wouldnt be able to get to it until Monday. They asked a lot of questions about previous service from other mechanics and about the nature of the problem. What seemed was going to be a big wheel bearing/suspension overhaul, turned out to only be a lumpy tire. They discovered this on the same day and recommended I pick it up the same day as well. Great honest service shop, highly recommend.

Excellent service. I hadn’t done a maintenance on my car in a while and they were honest about what I needed but didn’t make me feel bad for the condition my car was in. They even went above and beyond by helping me resolve an issue with a tire that was out of their scope of service. They are friendly and provide service information about costs of services prior to competing the service. Everything from start to finish was a great interaction. 100% would recommend for any general car service.

Had a fuel line come loose during a road trip, gas was POURING out! First time customer, brought my Chevy Tahoe in for fuel line repairs. Received a phone the following day with a diagnose and solution. They repaired the fuel line without any other problems. Great communication, reasonable price, and awesome customer service! They took care of my engine at a very reasonable price and even buffed out a couple of paint smudges w/o charging me. They did a diagnostic on my 2003 ford taurus and it was quick got a call 4 hours later and they identified the problem easy, very easy going and respectful as well.

Professional and courteous. Skip and I discussed the issues, they diagnosed the problem and replaced the parts. Reasonable rates and quick turnaround. Couldnt ask for better service.

I have a 2004 3/4 ton suburban with 174,000 miles on it and the electronic shocks were shot.I took it to an unnamed place that would only install OEM parts because of the computer readout that says “Service Suspension System” requires the computerized connection to get rid of the code. Would have been about $4,000. The truck is worth about $2,000. So, no.Meineke (Skip specifically) had no problem with swapping out the originals for some very good Monroe Reflexes after I told them I didn’t care about the warning codes.They had the new shocks put in in about 3 hours and the experience was very positive. Under $1,000 and the truck rides like new again.

We had my daughter’s car towed to Meineke after she had an accident where she destroyed a wheel and tire. We had bought a replacement tire and wheel at the Wheel Works which they assured us was the same as the ones my daughter purchase a year before. Meineke called me and told me they could put it on but she would not be able to rotate her tires because it didn’t match the others… It was a nightmare working with Wheel Works but they had finally found another Wheel Works that had one of the discontinued tires.I was so impressed with Bill at Meineke for being patient and storing our car and then with the other repairs. The total cost was unbelievably low for all they had done for us. My daughter Sarah was very grateful for the experience we had a Meineke. I think besides honesty and reasonable costs…they also don’t take shortcuts but do what’s right. I’m impressed - thank you Bill and Meineke! Meineke will be servicing all of our vehicles from now on.

Dropped my car off at noon and picked it up a little past 4pm all repaired in the same day. I even got to talk to the technician who worked on my car, nice hard working guy, so nice even that he even picked me up from my house past closing hours. I was passing through and my serpentine belt went out. Bill and his team squeezed us in about 30 minutes before closing time and fixed it right away. We were 250 miles from home and if it wasnt for the great team that works here, we wouldve been stranded and missed our camping trip. I highly recommend this place. Bill will take good care of you.

Got front brakes and my rotors for a good pice brought my own assembly for them to put on i have go back and get the rear done too.

Its okay if and when you dont have time to go and get a good estimate for half the price they charge here! Very professional and very nice staff, just wish they would be more reasonable, but being a franchise business, guess you really dont make the rules!

The Gilroy Meineke Car Care Center has never let me down. It is always easy to make an appointment, the staff is friendly and professional, and usually, I am able to just wait there for the car to be ready. Cost is reasonable. If something else is noticed that requires attention, the staff has always been good at letting me know about the needed repair, whether or not it is urgent, and the approximate cost. I am grateful that I started taking my car to Meineke instead of the dealership.

Im always skeptical of dealerships and corporate-owned outfits but they are great to work with. Always feel like Im getting straight answers from them and they never give me any grief when I want a second opinion or to take care of the work myself. They do excellent work and worked with my extended warranty/maintenance plan purchased through DGDG when I bought my car.Their staff is knowledgeable and communicate well. They tend to under-promise and over-deliver which I find to be a very valuable trait with auto shops.If I had one complaint its that they always seemed to be booked when I need them! Not to worry, they are flexible with their pick-up and drop-off schedules and I have yet to have any issues with getting work done when I needed. They may tell you that they cant help you today but will give an honest answer of when they can and will stand by that answer. Other ships Ive worked with in the past will tell me to bring my vehicle over and theyll try to get to it but never seem to be able to in a timely manner.

I was visiting Gilroy and had some free time. I walked in to Meineke, and was promptly greeted very pleasantly. I took a shot in the dark and asked if they had an an appointment available for an oil change. Despite it being last minute, they were ableto accommodate me (although I was warned this was unusual). I was out in 45 minutes, and it was significantly cheaper than other places. I was very satisfied, and am very thankful for the staff at Meineke.
