Sometimes you get an honest mechanic, sometimes you get a competent mechanic. In my opinion, rarely do the two meet. Excellent service at a reasonable price.I highly recommend.

We got the engine light check on and car lost power while heading to socal, pulled over and called around. Jeremy was the only place out of three called accepted to help us, even though they are full. they quickly found and fixed the issue (due to faulty spark plugs) and while waiting they took us to nearly mall to relaxed and even offered to picked us up when they were done. amazing group of people and top notch service.

I brought my van to Gilroy Auto because the check engine light was on. Jeremy, the owner located the problem quickly and provided an estimate for repairs.My sister also uses Gilroy Auto for regular service plus repairs.We find Jeremy and his staff to be professional, courteous and helpful.I am happy to support local business especially in this case because it is well deserved!

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.You will find no better mechanics around. I recently lost my car keys, (poof vanished, in thin air) and was not able to drive my vehicle for over a week. I was getting quotes on changing out parts I wasnt even sure cars had but then, I came across Gilroy Automotive Repair. I spoke one on one with Jeremy (the owner), and explaining my situation we came to the best course of action that I could afford and got me on the road in the same day.deffinently going back.

A family business that treats you like family!I recently brought our tow vehicle in for service to replace a compression clutch that was failing. It was a Friday before we were going camping, and they were able to accommodate us.Unfortunately, the new part failed during our return trip damaging the fan, radiator, belts, hoses, and filters. It stranded us about 100 miles from home - on a Sunday!So how on earth is this a 5-star review? Read on...When we called them to let them know what happened, not only did they come pick us up that night, they also towed our travel trailer back and helped put it in storage.Then they expedited the process to get the replacement parts and address the collateral damage. Within a couple of days, we had our Land Cruiser back and running better than ever.Their commitment to service excellence, fair and honest practices, as well as going above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met has made us loyal customers for life.

Jeremy was great. They replaced a burnt out lightbulb in under five minutes for no charge half an hour before my son had a DMV driving test. Thank you.

I was charged $60 dollars for half hour labor. it was a door issue. Never gotten no emails about the parts which the daughter said she will email. I told them it was 20 minutes of labor and Jeremy said no it was half hour. I was never told upfront how much Ill be charged for labor. when I told them what if I find it cheaper will you match that he said NO. And he said hell call me when the part is available and he never did call.
