Good store, excellent service, ! Now on 6 Nov. 2021 there was only 1 cashier available everything went smoothly. Logistical analysis says if something pops off like a price correction, who is gonna operate another cashier if the line starts backing up verifying a price check? Besides that ALDI was a great Gilbert store experience

Great prices on most items. Some are the same. If it were closer to where I live I would frequent more often. I live 30 mins away but If Im in the neighborhood I will stop by to get some deals.

Great priced grocer, with a clean store and friendly staff. Make sure to bring your own bags as they do not provide them. Also, a shopping cost will cost you $0.25, but youll get your quarter back when you return the cart

Clean, competitively priced and displayed merchandise. Some of the used to have non packaged veggies seem to have disappeared in the new style stores. Of course, that could be COVID H&S rules forcing that. My feeling is, its the new business model approach to sales. Nevertheless.. Associates are friendly and helpful.. .thank you to the young man who gave my Husband and I a pretty bouquet of flowers!! Thank you to his Mom for guiding his actions and positive behavior! We so enjoyed the gift and interaction!

READ MY PRO TIPS..This is a brand new Aldi, Opened February of 2021.The store is large, has plenty of your basic grocery store items.Pro Tip: bring a quarter for the shopping carts. You insert the quarter and the shopping 🛒 cart is released. Once you are done with the cart bring it back and the quarter will be released. Smart system to make the customer return the shopping cart.Throughout the store you’ll find basic needs. They also have clearances bread daily selling for $0.10 and $0.75 a loaf 🍞!Pro Tip: they charge you for a shopping bag, when you are shopping grab a empty product box 📦 and use it as your bag.Don’t forget your quarter!!!

Aldi is an all-time favorite! They have quality food and fun items you dont find in other places. Their isle of limited-time items is awesome. And they have new things you didnt know you needed every week! Just take your quarter for your cart (you get it back when you return the cart), and youre ready.

Finally open! So happy to have an Aldi closer to home. Fresh and very affordable produce, delicious selection of bakery items, cheese, meat, wines and other pantry staples. Highly recommended! Dont forget your quarter for the shopping cart 😊

My favorite grocery store, always cheaper than most places. We go in and fill up a whole cart and expect to spend hundreds and only spend half of what we expect so the prices are great. It seems like they are trying to carry more health food type stuff which I dont mind but dont like it because they are better as a standard grocery store. But other than that its new and clean too. And the employees are super nice and will help if need.

BRING GROCERY BAGS and QUARTERS! We didnt know they dont have plastic bags to put your items in. We have to put our groceries in the trunk individually. You need a quarter to use the shopping cart but you get them back when you return it. It makes you accountable on returning the cart where it should be and not leave them on the parking lot. The prices are reasonable. Very clean. Smaller than Winco but bigger than Trader Joes. I would say same store size as Sprouts. As expected on a new store, it very clean, well stocked. Location is right across Winco.

We all had fun grocery shopping. So many different things to try. Cuban sandwich flavored potato chips! Kids behaved and the lucky one got to keep the quarter for returning the shopping cart. Will definitely return when we are on that side of town.

If youve never been to Aldis before... Dont forget to bring your own shopping bags or be prepared to buy their reusable ones. Dont forget to bring a quarter or youll be without a shopping cart. Dont look for normal name brands, most of the items for sale at Aldis are Aldis brands. They had quite a few gluten-free or keto friendly items. They have something called Aldi finds which means they have a limited amount of an item and it might be there today but it wont be later. Once its gone its gone. I bought 22 items including 6 lb of chicken breasts and my total was $40. Most of their items were cheaper than a typical grocery store but know your prices. The half and half was the same price I pay for it at Frys.

Overall prices not competitive. Not much variety. Nice clean and very friendly store. Some ad prices are good, but only one ad item is good. Some ads only run for 2 days.

This is a small grocery store with limited selection. Many of the items are generic or off-brand. You need to bring your own bags or pay 10 cents/bag for one of theirs. The cashier doesnt bag items for you.Aldi has a lot of devoted customers due to their low prices. I only visited once, and saw some prices that were a little lower than other stores and some that werent. Shopping there regularly might provide savings over time. For just an occasional visit its probably not worth it.

Absolutely love this place!!! Make sure to bring a quarter to get a cart (youll get it back) and bring your own bags.They have a great selection of healthy and organic snacks, their fruits and veggies are done if the best prices Ive ever seen, and they have great prices on fresh meat as well.I also love their diapers! Theyre the only ones Ive liked besides Pampers! Their frozen pizzas are also really good! And at less than $3 its an awesome deal!!!

Was only there for a few minutes. Seems pretty organic and California-ish. Got the specific product I was looking for so no complaints. A bit pricey, but not Whole Foods Stupid pricey 😅

First off I had to pay for my basket to be able to go through the storeSecond you can see how their prices can be a little bit cheaper as their bottles and their stuff is so much smaller than going to Sams or Costcos.

Definitely more bang for your buck. 200.00 on groceries here is the same as 350.00 at Frys. Will always recommend 10/10

This is a nice place. There are a couple around the east valley and I like them both. For those that remember Fresh and Easy, it’s like that to some extent. One can buy known name brands there to for many things however, the majority of product is the Aldi brand which is pretty good quality.Two other things to note for some may be that the shopping carts are pay a quarter to use, get your quarter back when you return. Also the store is bring your own bags.

Just like the bankruptcy Fresh market corp a couple years ago. All reviews online indicates prices and products equal WINCO and its NOT. All meats are just packaged, along with deli products. Maybe 1% brands All rest are generic. It will drop.

First time shopping here. Some great buys. A lot of the items are packaged to look like name brands we are used to buying. Great buys on snacks, treats and cereal for kids. They do take debit and credit cards not just cash as first thought when they came to the valley. You do pay a quarter to get a cart but you get it back when done shopping.I will go back again.

I Love ALDI! It brings me back to MY Midwest child years Growing up in Kansas. The Shopping carts you slide a quarter in to use. All the snacks and brands my mother use to get me as a kid. Overall everything the classic ALDI has. with a slightly modern look. I love it.

Loved this place, but pretty disappointed lately. Seems like they only keep stock on gluten free items (other than frozen pizza) in May during their GF month promotions. They had some really awesome GF products like take and bake pizza, donuts, hot pockets, etc. Which all were amazing and delicious products. But I have been in multiple times since May and what they have is a very limited selection of items. Maybe the new one coming to Mesa will be different, but Im not counting it. Maybe next May well find some more.

This is one of the friendliest, cleanest stores around. It has so many treasures down every isle. Not your typical grocery shopping experience, bit, if you are looking for unique, this is your place.The employees go out of their way to make sure you find what you are looking for!

I love shopping here. Every week they have some weekly finds and since they are a European based store I love their items from Germany. The face creams and washes are amazing and only 2.99 ea. The chocolate and cookies are amazing. They also have a great set of Keto items. Great prices on organic items. Bring your own bags and a quarter for the cart.

I first shopped at Aldi in Germany and was excited to see then near where I live. I find the priced lower than sale prices at other stores. Now my kid shops there and loves it.

Best place to buy boneless, skinless chicken breasts! I never have to trim them like I do from other stores.

I was extremely happy when Aldis store arrived. I have always loved shopping here for the variety and especially the prices.

I am now in love with shopping at ALDI. Their brand is so much cheaper than anyone elses, and youll never know what you may find! I am seriously saving so much money on my grocery trips now. Bring a quarter to unlock a shopping cart (you get it back at the end), and bring your own reusable bags. Its a different experience, but is focused on efficiency and savings.

Aldi’s was very clean, great customer service at the checkout. Found some good deals like organic eggs for .99cents! It’s not a huge store and you might not find everything you need. Luckily the location is great, near other stores you might want to visit.

This Aldi is ok, has most of the usual Aldi stuff, but ive been to a bunch of them, and a lot of them have more home type stuff. Like BBQs, patio furniture, things like that. This Aldi has none of that.

Aldi was my favorite store when living in Chicago, so happy to have a beautiful new store in Gilbert! It does take some getting used to with the quarter for cart and bringing your own bags, but they have really good products at great prices. Just a tip- a lot of their products that they private label actually are the name brands you get at other stores. The produce especially at this store is great.

I have missed Aldi since I moved back to AZ from NC. Aldi brand foods are comparable to brand names and a lot of their prices are very competitive. This store is clean, stocked and has very friendly employees. Dont forget your grocery bags! (You bag your own) if you do forget though, Aldi sells reusable bags or has empty boxes you can use. Also, youll need a quarter to rent a cart. This ensures youll return the cart which in turn cuts down on staff needs which helps to keep your costs low. Yes once you return the cart you get your quarter back.Aldi also has organic foods and Angus beef (for those who prefer)Check it out! Youve really nothing to lose.

We used to shop at Aldi in Iowa, couldnt have been more excited to hear they were coming to Arizona. First time at the Gilbert location and it was absolutely fantastic. Not exactly the same selection as Iowa but I saw the same brand of products as Iowa and I was so excited!!!

Supposedly German week...German food was almost non-existent. Made a special trip and only found brats. Can get brats at any grocery store.

Great selection, amazing discount prices on fruit, produce, & meats! Store is bright & clean, with friendly & helpful staff!

All of the staff was very friendly, and the store itself looked nice. With that said, some items were a great price, but other items were either expensive or average price. Not as cheap as I thought it would be. Had to also put a into the cart in order to unlock it. In days of covid, I do not use change. So I think that requirement is not size. You also have to pay for bags at this store, which I found kind of lame. Selection of items is also extremely limited. You will not find things you would expect like cottage cheese and cans of soda. The stock they do have of each item appear to also be very limited.

It has been years since I have been to an Aldi. This was far cleaner with better service than any I have been to before. It also helped that it its brand new. Love those Aldi exclusive products. Especially the German ones.

Prices seem to be good. but no customer service. limited items to chose from and the quarter to use a Cart is truly a nuisance and absolutely make zero sense. due to the fact the size of the parking lot is Tiny. so encouraging people to put their carts seems to just cause more of an issue than its worth to have an associate gather carts for 5 minutes in theyre tiny lot. we were very excited to try this store out for the first time but we will not return definitely not worth the drive. WinCo has the same or better pricing and way more to choose from too much competition for Aldi to exist

Superb prices and a very interesting selection of stuff. Glad to see a lot of new things without the clutter of national brand stuff clogging up the aisles everywhere. Definitely recommend checking them out!

This Aldi is a very clean, well-stocked grocery store offering basic, but tasteful goods. The staff are nice and dedicated to making the store appear nice. Most goods are inexpensive, but many are private labels so cross shopping is not possible. Still, basics such as fruit and bread are reasonably priced compared to majors like Walmart and Kroger. This is a German-style store, so you need to bring your own bags and also a quarter to unlock a cart. The quarter is returned upon return of the cart. All in all, a well organized and efficient store. If youre looking for a full service grocery store, better to shop Frys or Safeway.

Produce not fresh signs misleading. One sign said zucchini .99 but when you got to register it was .99 per lb
