You are about to love this GameStop. It could be an easy 5 stars store if they would only answer the phone within a reasonable amount of time. Still good to go to.

The guys who work there are awesome and this location had the ps vr that no others had within a 40 mile radius. Im satisfied 😌.

Terrible service from the employee currently working at the exact time of this post. Employee was completely rude and disrespectful with me and other employees, bad attitude from the start. It’s the employee who opened the store at 12:00 am Saturday 19 of September. GameStop needs to remove these sort of people who do not like to work there and who have terrible people skills.

I would give 0 if possible. Ordered 3 games for my daughters birthday. Items came, one did not work. charged $30.00. Emailed them twice, asked for refund or exchange. It has been over 3 weeks, havent heard anything from them. For $13.00 more, got a brand new game from Amazon with free shipping. I will never use game stop again, bad customer service not to respond.

I visited the GameStop yesterday and I had a controller to return it was the day after my Insurance had gone out but the gentleman behind the counter working help me gave me replacement controller with my insurance with no problem I really appreciate your help. Im glad I visited the GameStop in Germantown!!!!

The staff at this location where helpful and knowledgeable. Im not usually excited about this chain but this location is worth reconsidering. Thanks to staffer who answered both my and my 7-year olds questions enthusiastically. Awesome job today!

I went in there with my PS4 to trade it in because I barely use it anymore. I went to take out my PS4 and the hard drive panel came off which is supposed to come off. Immediately following that, the store manager told me she would have to take it in as defective. As the manager was checking my games for trade in I considered my options and decided to take my console to the Montgomery Village location and Cat the manager there was super helpful. I have to say I didnt feel like I was being treated very nicely at the Germantown location and it felt like the manager was deliberately trying to swindle me out of some money.

After looking for a replacement Xbox 360 slim 4GB Console to replace my kids old one I get the system hooked up to find theres NO HARD DRIVE IN THE SYSTEM then see if they have a hard drive and the employee tells me its sold separately and trys to sell me a hard drive like the old memory plug ins having no clue about products and what comes with them I bought the system and the warranty he says bring it back we will refund it all we can do. So now nobody in the area has any due to COVID19 and I gotta order a hard drive online cause GAMESTOP RIPPED ME OFF.. last thing I buy from you promise you that No wonder Gamestop is folding my 6 yr old knows games better then some of these clowns

Came here after work to order a game from another store (nearest copy was in VA). Dani (sc) was working the register and her immediate response to my request was, “First off, don’t tell me how to do my job.” Pretty snappy remark followed by her talking over me & trying to get into an argument while there were other customers in the store. So I’m taking my business to the GameStop in Fallsgrove from now on. It’s 20 miles from my house, whereas the Germantown store is about 3 miles away, but the customer experience is much better.

Always spend too much time here. The conversations are great. They have great customer service and they really do help.

Made a hold on the gamestop website for the pokemon go plus but when I got there it was already sold..... No emails, no warning that the product was sold, wasted my time. Never coming back

Hit or miss staff. It depends on the day. Sometimes the experience is great and they are very courteous and helpful.Today however (11/12/16, 6:00 hr), there was a very rude woman at the counter. Condescending and unprofessional. I will be going to the one near Home Depot from now on. As a paying customer, I refuse to do business with stores who think its okay to employ people like that.

GameStop used to be a good place to go to for games and good deals. Now, theyre only concerned with profit and cheating the customer. You will never receive the amount they advertise for your trades. Even if it is brand new out of the box, they will charge you a refurbish fee, which means they put it in a box for a few weeks before selling it exactly as you traded it in, or if your lucky, after one of the employees wiped of the grime in the back. Dont shop at GameStop unless you can help it. Many places there is no alternative, unfortunately.

Knowledgeable staff that most definitely knows their games. I have a specific style of games I like and they had no trouble pointing me in the right direction. Justin in particular was very friendly and very helpful. I didnt ask if he was a manager, but if he isnt this store needs to make him one. He was able to handle multiple customers without making anyone feel neglected, and was extremely helpful in answer some of my fiances and my more difficult questions about the new PS4 system and their stores policies. Ive spent my fair share of time at different EB Games and Gamestops from here to VA, but this Gamestop has definitely become my homebase. In short I wouldnt be lying to say that if I moved even further away the customer service alone would have me making a 2 hour trip for a new game.

This store is horrible and the manager which is Caucasian white lady is very disrespectful and rude . I recommend you going to the game stop in Montgomery village a lot more nicer over there .

Typically I would give this store a great rating, as Ive shopped at this location many times & spend a ton of money here.However, over the weekend, I had purchased one of their Funko Mystery Boxes for $20.I had opened the first box & pulled two Pops! & two mini vinyl figures. I thought, great, let me buy a few more & see what I pull. I bought five more Funko Mystery Boxes, & to my dismay pulled the EXACT same products. These boxes are supposed to be random, this is anything but random. I feel that this is a ploy to unload overstock. Not worth it.Let me save everyone the suspense of these mystery boxes.....ready, here goes, you will pull an Enchantress Pop! & a Vegeti Pop!, maybe a Yellow Power Ranger Pop! & you will pull 2 Five Nights at Freddys vinyl figures, those being Animatronic Foxy & Crying Child.I am now the proud owner of 6 Enchantress Pops!, 4 Vegeti Pops!, 2 Yellow Power Ranger Pops!, 6 Crying Child Figures, & 6 Animatronic Foxys.The manager refused to do anything about it. Its a scam to unload overstocked items.If you dont believe me, buy a mystery box & see for yourself. Its not worth it.M.
