Larry Columbia, Jr. at Clayton Homes in Georgetown was such a pleasure to work with. We felt welcomed and everything was explained completely. His knowledge is apparent regarding Clayton Homes. We found our home today and couldn’t be happier! Thank you, Larry for making this process so easy.

The agent listen and talked to us, But didnt want to work with us when we said we would like to use our home as trade in, thats when the agent really shut us down, The agent did not want to work with us after that, or before that! The agent didnt seem interested at the beginning just joked and talked about nonsense stuff off and on, The agent made us feel like we was not good enough to buy a home there would not recommend anyone to buy a home at this place,

Worst experience ever. They will treat you like gold until you put down that deposit and they try to tie you into a shady contract. And if they suddenly cant do it or you try to back out good luck getting your money back any time soon. The corporate headquarters has to send the check which takes weeks.

Justin was very polite, professional, and helpful. He understood my wants and needs and took care of my grandparents needs as well. I highly recommend this office. The home was beautiful and they have plenty to choose from.

Make sure you make an appointment! Drove all the way there for them to tell me I needed an appointment to view homes. There were two sales reps there, and only one of them had an appointment for that hour time slot, but apparently they weren’t interested in showing a home. Never even asked which homes I was interested is seeing, just shut me down when I walked in the door. Guess I’ll drive to Corbin or Dry Ridge and see if they’re more accommodating.

I had no delusions of what I was getting when I chose not to “stick build” a home. The manufactured home I purchased has good curb appeal and the inside really is nice at first glance. Unfortunately, it has been all the other nuances of the home that has made this a regrettable experience. In the few years I’ve been in the home I’ve had to contact a plumber regularly. From lines damaged by finishing nails, to fixtures hooked up incorrectly. There has been a lake in my crawl space twice. Today, after only a few years I had to dig up and replace a portion of my septic where it was incorrectly tied into from the house. The house has become a great source of frustration due to the constant plumbing issues, leaks in my roof, trim and finish work that frequently falls off, bubbling up of the carpet and linoleum, duct work for HVAC incorrectly hooked up, and creaky floors (which the salesman bragged would not happen for at least 30 years due to how they were constructed.) My advice to anybody looking to purchase a home of this fashion would be to stop and reconsider traditional construction. You may have to build a smaller home but the quality of the final product is not comparable. Don’t be stuck with a 30 year loan, and 3 years into the process wondering if your home will be standing by the time it’s paid off. I wish I could post pictures to represent that it’s not a matter of getting what you paid for, but a combination of total disregard for the customers final product and lackadaisical application of craftsmanship by the installation team. My mind has been blown by some of things I’ve seen in the crawl space, attic, and plumbing. I’m scared to think of what’s in the walls. All due to a team that has no pride in customer satisfaction. Their goal is to get you past the warranty phase a laugh all the way to the bank. So dissatisfying to be in this situation on the largest purchase of ones life. Please reconsider.

Unprofessional, extremely rude, they won’t let you in the houses without them. All other Claytons let you in without going in. Also they didn’t have their masks on correctly it was on their face but not their nose or mouth so what’s that any good? I do not recommend.

We have been in our home for a year now. And every time we’ve ever had to call Clayton for an issue or anything Candace always was so kind and understanding as well as the gentleman they send out .Mike has come to our house almost every time and we’ve even joked he’s watched my two youngest grow up over this year!The day we moved in Candace helped me look up directions and helped me put my baby crib together! From that day for minor things (leaking sink, cracks they came back to fix ) have happened and no matter what I called for they helped us and did it on time! They are always respectful coming into my home and always go above and beyond!So as I said here we are a year later and I love my home I love Clayton for making this process easy as they could and I’m so glad we chose them!!

I would seriously give a lower rating if I could. After looking at various homes that were very nice I went to talk to a salesperson who was outside smoking on the front deck. I told her I was interested in applying for a home and she didnt even attempt to make a sale just basically said that I wouldnt be able to afford it. I asked her if she got paid commission to which she said absolutely! I was shocked because she pretty much said that I would be better off just buying an actual house. She went back inside and it wasnt even 5 minutes later she was back outside smoking. Very unprofessional and lazy because I felt like she didnt want to help me. Very displeased with my experience and would not recommend for anyone to go here. Also called earlier in the week twice and absolutely nobody returned my call! These people must not be very interested in making sales in my opinion.

Bought my mobile home from them in 2014. Very nice and good group of people trying to get my approved. But thats about it. I had problems with the mobile home since day 1. First week they brought it out I had them come out fixing stuff every other day. Small stuff. Strips coming off the wall, carpet bubbling up, strips being crooked on the wall. They did come Everytime and fixed it that I needed. But I felt that if this was a BRAND new mobile home someone should check that stuff before sending it...after multiple multiple calls and fixing small stuff they finally got it somewhat together. Id say about 3 years later I came home from work after a storm and my while cieling in the master bedroom fell in. Cannot make this up!! I called my insurance company to come out and look at it they said they could not cover it because the manufacturer sent the mobile home with a bad vent on the roof what caused the leak. They literally layed the shingles all messed up around the vent. Made no sense. About a year later after that I noticed leaking from my a.c from inside. Came home and my whole floor was bubbled up from it leaking and my whole room that it was in was completely ruined and has to be done. I would not recommend anyone getting a home from them! They are poorly put together and this has been the biggest headache I ever thought imaginable. Never never again. Lesson learned. Now owe on a home thats already falling apart !;

Clayton Homes take notice. My home has had a leak since it was delivered and set up. Several attempts were made to correct the problem while under warranty. Now that the warranty has expired the problem still exists not being corrected under the warranty period. This is not a homeowners maintenance issue. It’s a warranty issue that was never resolved.

Just stopped by to try an view a home.... it says “ on display” online at the Georgetown location. Not sold. Just on display, thought great! Let me go check it out . Drove in bout 25 minutes from stamping ground in the rain just for the sales guy there to say “ i’ll show it to you if you are actually interested in buying if just looking i’d Rather you not” great attitude for a salesman. Decided we’d rather drive an extra bit and look, if he has an attitude like that just showing the house imagine doing business with him to buy a home!

The one home I drove the 130 miles to see, was already purchased & locked up. Understandable, the new owners didnt want people trecking thru it. I wouldve done the same. However, their website did not reflect that the Lulamae was unavailable to view or off their website. Not a place Id do business with in my future endeavors.

Been moved in since December 5th and we still have a water pipe that isnt fixed so we havent got to use our big garden tub, counters came ungluded from the wall and the trim work is not flush unfortunately were still waiting for it all to be fix. The second day we was moved in we had to tighten all the screws and door knobs in the whole house. They have poor communication and they dont return phone calls. With them to get anything fixed it takes longer than a week. Its quicker for you to fix it yourself.
