I stopped by this week for a private group chocolate and wine tasting and it was phenomenal. Chef Roby and his wife are so welcoming and gracious! I loved the stories behind each of the the truffles we tried. Chef Roby was also nice enough to share more about his personal life and why he decided to become a chef. The chocolate sculptures are just fascinating! I couldn’t leave without taking some goodies with me back to Miami. You will not be disappointed! If you’re looking for a unique group experience, this is it! Or if you just want to catch up with friends over delicious chocolate and a wonderful ambiance, this is your place to! I can’t wait to visit again!
This isnt just a chocolate shop. This is an experience! Not only can you get truffles, nutella croissants and chocolate covered bacon (trust me, I did) but you can peruse a veritable museum of chocolate sculptures! My fave was the chocolate tree I took to think of as treebeard. I also loved the detail if the iguana.
Weve looked for a solid chocolate shop since moving from Indiana. Weve had some misses but this place is great. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful. the truffles are delicious. Im not much of a plain coffee drinker but I even I think it pairs well with the chocolate and my husband says its good. Also it has some amazing picture worthy chocolate sculptures.
Will definitely have to come back. Pretty cool atmosphere. If you are a Nutella fan, gotta try the Nutella Croissant
I was walking around in Geneva and ran into this place to see if they had it, and they did! I ordered an hot apple cider and was looking at the pastries. They had so many different delicious looking items, I decided to get one. I bought the pumpkin strudel to take home.Later that evening, I decided to indulge myself in my new dessert. After I was beyond ecstatic to dig into my pumpkin strudel. The cream was so light and fluffy and the dough held quite well. The staff is friendly and there is quite the selection. I have to admit, I wanted try everything there!
I love to visit Paris and this place always reminds of being there. One of my favorite stops in Geneva.
You know when you walk into an artisanal chocolate shop youre going to spend a little more than an *average* shop. The ambiance, the quality, the staff and the wow factor all play into it. Wonderful place to stop to cap a beautiful evening out with friends
Great gelato, friendly servers. There are some beautiful chocolate sculptures. Would recommend going there with a sweet tooth.
Excellence of highest level allows for this charming establishment be the locals’ favorite for sweet treats. When you enter this magical place you are taken to an imaginary “Willy Wonka” like hideaway. Many of the decorations chef Roby created out of sugar and chocolate. One of a kind environment inspirational for kids and adults. Personal service, attentive staff, and gelato that no one can pass. Must visit this fabulous Geneva spot.
Walmart quality pastry nothing special. Traveled to taste master chef quality not 2 dollar Walmart quality. Maybe just their chocolate is good, did not try after spending 25 bucks on pastry and hot chocolate.
Oh, so I have to tell you I had to buy a couple pieces of chocolate covered bacon to snack on while I browsed the display cabinets and decided what to indulge on today. The variety here is wonderful. Too much to choose from makes the decisions even tougher. So it kind of forces you to buy more than you need. Yes I spent some serious money here but it was worth it.
We just love it here. Whether stopping in for a coffee with such amazing flavor or just an after dinner treat. Our favorite ...too many to list. My nephew and I tried the peanut butter cookie the other day ... amazing! Shown here our Frosty the snowman one of our favorite Chef creations that is a staple at Christmas.
Absolutely a must see...and A BUCKET LIST STOP XOXO COOL CREATIVE AND YUMMY AND THE STAFF ROCKS!
I feel like I’m in France chocolates are phenomenal they’re so beautiful sometimes I don’t want to eat them
They have a large selection of gelato flavors and it tasted great! It was busy when we arrived, but the line moved fast. Good service.
The place smells AMAZING the moment you walk in. You have to try the Lavendar ice cream! Peanut butter was great as well. Definitely coming back and bringing a friend!
Bad Service. Overpriced . Coffee and cookie was almost $18.00. Cookie was like cement and noticed it was from Easter. Iced coffee was almost all ice. For a place that charges $60 for a cake, buyer beware.
Delicious icecream! Nice servise
Incredible! Highly recommend the spinach pocket! Cozy & cool environment too.
Best gelato we’ve ever had. The chef lists how it’s made, a true gelato. Wish there was one closer to us but definitely worth the drive.
Really cute shop. I hope the orange cranberry tea. A bit to hot. You can only sit 45 minutes.
Best gelato I have ever had
These lovely folks made us an amazing multi layer chocolate cake on short notice. It was fantastic and most importantly, my very particular wife loved it. We will definitely be back for more special occasions!
So... we were strolling around Geneva the other day and decided to stop by All Chocolate Kitchen for a cup of coffee. After waiting several minutes to try and get waited on, I walked around the counter trying to find someone to wait on us. After doing so, another customer walked up behind me and got waited on by the girl behind the counter. As I waited AGAIN for service, the other customer received their drink, and the girl behind the counter said, Ill be with you in a minute sir. With that, I really started to steam. She finally got back to the counter and stood towards the front of the store, not looking at me at all, and speaking through her mask. I had no idea what she was saying, and then she walked away to the back of the store and NEVER CAME BACK! I told the rest of our party to stop WASTING OUR TIME HERE AND GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. With that, we left.I did contact them via phone later that day, and spoke to someone who claimed to be the assistant store manager. She assured me that someone would be getting back to me, but not surprisingly, no one ever did. My guess is that I was probably speaking to the same girl who wouldnt wait on us.There are way too many other establishments in Geneva that really DO appreciate their customers. Especially in these times, you would think restaurants would go out of their way to treat customers with at least a little more respect. But apparently, All Chocolate Kitchen prefers to just wait on single customers only, and feels that a group of people is more than they care to bother with.
To specific questions if bakery was fresh made by the day, I was told that it is.Unfortunately the croissants I was given, was not.
Stopped in today to pick up an all sugar pumpkin. Its truly unbelievable. My grandson had the delicious gelato, I had coffee and a flourless chocolate cake. My husband has a chocolate allergy but, never has a problem here. I believe its because of the quality of the chocolate. This chocolate shop is definitely a place to go. Id give it 10 Stars if I could have but they only list 5.
Delicious and Unique!!Great work displays by a master chef!
Fabulous gelato and premium chocolate.
Good dessert but terrible hours. What kind of ice cream place closes at 5pm on a weekday and 7pm on a weekend?
The vegan ice cream is delicious!
Esther and Chef Roby treated us like family and our wedding day wouldnt have been the same without their attention to detail and Love! Thank you so much for your time and thoughtfulness!
This place is a MUST visit! A real Willie Wonka and magical place. We tried couple of different desserts, the banana cream pie was AMAZING same with the Pumpkin Pie.The staff is very knowledgable and helpful considering they were pretty busy. They advise us to try the Pumpkin Latte as it is all natural and we were so happy we did. We will definitely be back
Everything here is yummy!
Always amazing and true Gelato
Great Gelato, would recommend
Everything you can ask for in a icecream and chocolate pastry
This place is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I want to go to a superb dinner, this place comes straight to my head. fresh and all kinds of food and a large menu.professional staff members, and agreeable mood. Not less important, the expence is reasonable. I praise this spot with pleasure.
Nothing but love for ACK! They have the neatest products and you can always count on them giving their very best in service and care. Definitely recommend them and if you haven’t stopped in yet, you definitely should! 💯 💯 😋
The All Chocolate Kitchen is a special place. For some inexplicable reason I was struck with a sudden craving for gelato the other day. I called my mother to ask if she knew of any spots nearby that made proper fresh gelato. She excitedly replied go to the All Chocolate Kitchen! Its amazing! She sent me a list of things to pick up for her and I headed to over with high expectations.Theres a very warm atmosphere inside. My first visit was in mid December so there was a major Christmas theme going on. They have these massive sculptures made with thousands of pounds of chocolate. The soundtrack to Home Alone was playing and for the first time in a while I felt a warm nostalgia for the holidays instead of my usual bitterly misanthropic reaction to such merriness. It was pretty crowded for a weekday and everyone seemed pretty jovial.I ordered a stratiacella, coconut, and chocolate gelato with fresh whipped cream and is what delicious! They have a really tasty flourless chocolate cake with the density of a platinum osmium ore! Its a good thing I dont have much of a sweet tooth or I would be in trouble. I did learn some surprising facts about the difference between ice cream and gelato. Contrary to my instinct, ice cream is considerably higher in calories. I took a photo of the display board if you want to be able to justify a visit to yourself. Its definitely worth a visit. It would be a great spot to catch up with an old friend.
All Chocolate Kitchen is has two wonderful things good for it. The dainties are delicious! It also has a great ambiance and home town feel. I have been to many different parts of this country and you could put this restaurant anywhere and it would still thrive. All I can say is excellent, excellent, excellent! If youre in the area and you like some dessert stop in! 5 star place
The strudel. The coffee. The creme Brulee. Oh la la. Its worth the drive just to see the chocolate sculptures.
This beautiful store is a must “go to” in Geneva! Best coffee I’ve ever had (sorry Starbucks but it’s true)! The gelato and the sweets are amazing! Great customer service and family owned charm here!! Come here people! You’ll love it!
If you need a chocolate fix or are just a fan this is the place! Friendly service too.
Hours are not updated online or on voicemail. Drive here for no reason and the person inside refused to speak to me while I was at the locked door - pretty rude.
Hands down the absolute best!!
Amazing place, but they served a chocolate martini...$14.00 in a plastic cup...
Overpriced. My espresso was barely warm...they need to put cups on top of the espresso machine to warm them. (I saw two larger cup on top but no espresso cups) $4 for a double shot is a bit pricey. Chocolate croissant was stale. My wife had the hot chocolate which was a generous amount however it was bitter. Adding sugar helped. Lastly, the biggest letdown was the chocolate brownie. It was huge. First bite....very rich.....and freezer burned after taste. Yuck. Chef Robby needs to quit chasing Guiness records so that he can better provide for his day-to-day customers. I dont care about a 850 lb chocolate sculpture behind glass when the products Im served are terrible quality. Great atmosphere and potential just need to get their priorities in order. Staff were friendly.
One of the lovely place to come and to have a dessert. All Ice creams and cakes are yummy and delicious. All staffs are friendly and customer service is excellent. Beautiful environment too. People are polite and officiant. This time I decided to write a review because I stopped by for dessert with my family on wednesday night and I didnt realize that I left my purse behind. Chef Roby and his team to found my purse and handed to the police department for me. I really really appreciate that too.Thank you guys :)
Great dessert and atmosphere! I love coming here! I almost always get the gelato, because its too good to pass up. Most recently I tried it with two flavors and it was absolutely delicious. I mixed chocolate with coconut, it doesnt it much better than that!
Had refreshing gelato and some of their exquisite chocolate, always delish. Love this place!
This was our 1st time. It was quite overwhelming since it was busy and unclear to us as to how this place worked (what line do I need to get in, is there table service, who is in line, where to sit, etc.). The person who took our order asked me the same questions multiple times which just made it more confusing. In the end, we enjoyed our desserts, but won’t likely be back soon.
ALL CHOCOLATE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, anything you get will be amazing. Ive been in a few times with my wife and our children and we all really enjoy our visits.Disclaimer: in the restrooms, that isnt chocolate. Learn from my mistake.
Their devil’s food cake was quite tasty, but the flavor of their key lime pie and brownie was off. It must be something with the chocolate they used, because both the brownie and the crust of the pie left a strange aftertaste. If you plan on dining here, I recommend the devil’s food cake or their assortment of gelato.
Nothing exciting. We came today for hot chocolate, not that great. This place needs a remodel. Everything is covered in dust. Dont care for the sculptures that are super dirty. Tables with broken legs and ripped chairs. Dont think Ill be coming back.
So I dont know a lot about All Chocolate Kitchen but I can tell you how Chef Alain Roby saved Christmas Dinner! I was busy as all get out all holiday season and had everything ready for Christmas except the desert... this is when the Chef saved the day! All I had to do was ask and he came up with the most unbelievable Chocolate cake to serve my family. It was so good people are still talking about it! This dude is the real deal and a great person to do business with. I highly recommend you getting down to 3rd street and checking out his Chocolate magic!!!
Loved the gelato, loved the decor and sculptures even more. Can’t wait to come back and try more
Chocolate is good
Truly a gem here in Geneva! Highly recommend stopping in if you happen to be in the Fox Valley. Absolutely wonderful desserts and coffee in a vibrant location.
Everyone is always very nice; I have always received excellent service here, even when its busy. Its also so much fun to see all of the candy sculptures! This is the first time Ive been in a while, and theres a Jurassic Park sculpture! So cool!!
Great deserts and very good service. Unique and fun finds for sure
Dont pass this place up... Gelato is out of this world
My friend and I ordered a pretzel caramel brownie, we took one bite a piece and we were very disappointed. My friend brought it to the counter to explain how dry it was and if we could get the money back or exchange it for something else, the girl said the manager left and she didnt know where she went. We waited an hour for her to come back. She never returned. I left my name and number for the manager to call me. We left the brownie there too. I waited 4 days until I called the manager, i spoke to Ester and she promised to send me a gift card and i still have not received it. Im extremely disappointed in the customer service also. I do not recommend this place, its not what you think it is.
I dont know how it took me so long to find this place!!! The salted caramel latte is to die for and pairs perfectly with the almond biscotti 😍😍😍 ...we came around 9pm so the sweets selection was a little picked over, it seems like there would be like to choose from earlier in the day
One of the best gelato ice cream in the world! Chef Ruby always does great job running his business there. Very popular in downtown Geneva.
Best place in Geneva and on earth. Amazing coffee, food, gelato, and the staff!
High quality desserts. Im an excellent baker but dont want the calories of a whole dessert. Chef Roby satisfies my craving without me balooning out of my pants! Also, they have more than chocolate.
A truly incredible experience! There is something for everyone here. Try the Grand Cru Hot Chocolate or some Italian Gelato!
If youre a fan of chocolate, sweets, or fancy dessert sculpting (like you see on Food Network), this place is a must see. The available fare was tasty and there are some truly impressive works of food art on display.
They have absolutely the best hot chocolate in the, well, anywhere! I think they make their whipped cream from scratch, like everything else. Its clean, tastes amazing, and the desserts are out of this world. I highly, highly recommend this place!
Took my age 8 daughter here for a after dinner treat. She was in awe of the decor made of sugar. This place is really amazing with variety of desserts you can purchase. The gelato, candies, bakery treats, coffee, and yes the chocolate bacon! The counter help made the line move quickly. Our server had a friendly smile and made my daughters day with a personal compliment on her dress. Ordering was quick and service was fast. The treats are expensive but worth it!
Truly relaxed pacing. Excellent meal overall. ONLY complaint was the droning of the gears of the chocolate pump. Otherwise, memorable and will return.
Tried to get information to book this place for a baby shower. After caling and being told no one would speak to us with out an online submission, we did the online form and waited for a reply. No one got back to us. Tried calling at least SEVEN times and apparently someone answering the phone before 2pm (even though they are open) does not happen, or so I was told when I went in to try and speak with someone. I was told the manager would not come out to speak with me but I could fill out the online form...when I explained how I already submitted the form, tried calling seven times and ended up coming in because we were very interested in booking for a baby shower I was told you can leave a message then...this is just how we do things and the manager would still not come out to speak with me even though I offered to wait. I would advise against trying to book an event here!
This is by far my favorite gelato place! I’ve been coming here for years. I love all the amazing chocolate sculptures too. Great ambiance and delicious desserts!
First time here and it wont be our last! I used to work in confectionary for many years, and I can defintely say this place does a great job at everything! Great latte, pastries were fantastic, and the chocolates are beautiful! Great experience!
New Fat Elvis gelato rocks!
Typically very good here but they now have a no refund or exchange policy. We got some food that was obviously freezer burned and they would not refund. Tried to give a cookie as a consolation instead. Why would I pay $7 and be cool with getting a cookie. They actually cut off a piece of the food and said that it must have been too far back in the cooler which made it taste bad. So, they know it is no good and still had to debate with them for another item, then, I had to pay the up charge of a dollar for another item. At that point dont you just take the dollar loss and do the right thing? Left a very bad impression. Disappointed for sure. That policy should not be in force for food that is defective.
This place disgusts me, it is 1.79$ for a bottle of no name spring water. Not to mention the 1.50$ chocolate covered pretzel worth maybe 70 Cents at the most.Their is a five dollar minimum, I had only wanted 1 bottle of water to give to the homeless man in the wheelchair because it is 90+ degrees outside, I had too buy 2.Visa and MasterCard do not allow a minimum to be set for debit card purchases by any establishment for any reason, which I addressed with the manager who rung the purchase and her response was that it was the owners choice. The water should have been 1.00$ the extra 79 cents could have gone towards covering the transaction fee.Such a shame places like this exist.
Was pleasantly surprised at what I found when we went inside. Lots of cool art made from different types of candy, very relaxed and friendly environment. I went with my two boys (4 and 2) after being out in the cold to get some hot chocolate and coffee to warm up. The boys had a great time and the hot chocolate and coffee were very good. We didnt have any of the food or gelato but both looked very good. Defiantly going to go back with my wife next time.
You want chocolate?! This is the place! You cant go wrong here.
Highly recommend the afternoon tea and the pumpkin tea! Delicious and relaxing.
We had tiramisu which was served with coffee on the side. I recommend it very highly. We also had gelato, but I was not very impressed.Service was good.
