I was looking for a good place to take my SUV for some repair work and remembered seeing a car flipped over in front of a Collision Center. I thought it was a very unique way to grab attention, so I decided to go in to get some advice on what was needed for my vehicle. The professionalism from the moment I opened the door was was second to none. They truly had a genuine care and concern for what I needed to get my vehicle back in tip top shape at a reasonable price. The receptionist gave a warm welcome and made sure I was comfortable, while the technicians displayed a relentless determination to help me with my situation. The finished product was absolutely “AMAZING” and to top it off they even added some touch ups that weren’t even part of the deal!! This is the definition of an incredible work ethic, mixed with a family oriented environment. I’m totally blown away and will tell everyone with ears about my experience. So I didn’t personally use them but my son did and I’m speaking on the matter because he’s on my insurance (which paid for it). My son took his car there in May I believe due to a steering issue. The main concern was the fact it took 4 months to get results. Now every time we would contact them in concern as to what was going on they would say “oh we waiting on parts or we found something else”and that may have been the case however come to find out after my son posted a negative review that’s when we discovered that wasn’t entirely true. They were taking so long also because they had employees out due to COVID-19. So instead of expressing that to us it appeared they would juggle the truth. Now as a grown woman who have dealt with these matters before I understood this. But now my son being younger and a little more impatient as well as a different breed from my generation it frustrated him feeling like he was being yanked around. So basically all in all the work was done it was just the manner in which they felt they needed to keep the ENTIRE TRUTH from us. So understand both parties but for future reference I would just say communication is key don’t fear how we will respond for being honest fear how we will respond to a lie. Or let’s just say half truths. So in conclusion the work was done the process a lil lengthy but I would recommend their service. Remember things happen (especially lately )out of our control and can’t be helped but we all are human we get it. We understand. Thanks for getting his car back on the road😇🙏🏾

My car was pretty damaged when we initially brought it in to the David Wilson Collision Center. After a recent wreck, it was deemed a total loss by the insurance company. The car is an older model Honda Accord 2003. I thought nothing could be done to bring back the splendor the car used to have. I had basically given up hope that my car could ever look decent again. Well that was the case until David, Kevin and the rest of the crew began working their magic. I could not believe my eyes when they unveiled the beautiful and impeccable work they had done on my car that was just 2 weeks prior, a complete mess. They also detailed my car to perfection. As I drove my car off their lot, I felt such deep pride that I haven’t felt since when the car was back in its “hay day” in 2003. Thanks again David Wilson Collision Center. This is the second time I had them repair my car. I am one that takes care of my cars and I am very picky who works on them. I was in the auto body business years ago and I can tell that these guys know what they are doing. They are really friendly and are looking out for your best interest. The job took a few days longer than expected, They made the necessary arrangements with enterprise to extend the rental car. They then Arranged for Enterprise to pick the car up at their location. The car looked brand new when I picked it up. They do good work and are very helpful. Anthony is a good guy and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this shop.

Just picked my wife’s Cadillac ATS from being repaired after a deer strike. If you are wanting unheard of (by todays standards), first class service this is the place to go. After my accident I was dreading the process of getting my vehicle repaired and was prepared for what I thought would be a nightmare. They made this an easy process. One example of the level of service- I am extremely busy with work and I could never seem to get the vehicle to them. So after a few days I get a call from Kevin asking if he could pick my truck up. Refreshingly enough they were following up with me instead of the other way around. I received regular updates from Kevin keeping me informed through the entire process. I was very happy with the work done at this shop... Kevin was a great guy to work with as we worked out details. The work took longer than expected because of hidden damage. I was able to get good updates from Kevin, though I would have liked it if he would have been more pro-active in reaching out to me. We had an extra vehicle so the days w/o my truck were not too bad, had I not had the extra vehicle the added delays would have been tough. I would certainly use them again!

I would like to highly recommend David Wilsons body shop the service was so great. I called and was treated like they truly cared for me and my family. They worked me in the same day I called and work began promptly. The associate explained everything that the repair men were going to do in details that I understood. The shop keep me up to date with every step during the repair process. When the work was completed they worked around my schedule to pick up the vehicle at my convenience. The repair was so great that we cannot tell what was replaced and what is original. The paint job is blended so well that we cannot tell the difference. I had a dent on the rear quarter panel. I came to David Wilson to get a price. While talking to Kevin, I had mentioned that my sliding door was giving me trouble but I would fix that myself! The next day I came back after getting another quote that almost stopped my heart! As I was about to get an uber, I was asked if I needed a ride! David took me home in my own van where we talked about everything! He noticed my seat was dirty from where we gave the dogs treats and it messes up the seat. Fast forward to inspection day....the van was gorgeous but to my surprise, the door was fixed AND the interior completely detailed like a new car! I will never go elsewhere for body work in the future! These guys care about the customer and do great work!! Thanks again guys!!

It is tough enough saving for a new car even worse when someone hits your new car. Then there is the nightmare of dealing with the insurance companies and dealing with their suggested quick service body shops. I was skeptical that the insurance recommended body shops I called and checked out said my car could be done in a week or less. So glad I did some looking around at body shops not on the insurance companies list. Dave Wilson Body Shop took the time to listen and understand that I wanted this car fixed to spec not some after market or junk yard parts but the OEM parts that built the car in the first place. Dave Wilson Body Shop took my car the same day as the estimate and helped deal with the insurance company to make sure my car was done right. I was kept up to date and informed throughout the process until my car was ready. I can only imagine the nightmare I would have endured if I had used a so called recommended body shop wondering what they would have used to put my car back together and hoping they fixed everything. For anybody who finds a need for a body shop take the insurance so called recommended body shop list and trash it. Im from out of state and was looking to purchase a pre-owned vehicle from a Gastonia dealership, but wanted to have it independently inspected prior to purchase to ensure the vehicle hadnt been in an accident (CARFAX reports really arent worth the paper theyre printed on, BTW - always have an outside automotive professional verify). The lovely folks at Wilson Collision Center were very helpful and accommodating, took a look over the vehicle to ensure all was right, and wouldnt even accept payment for their time. While I dont have experience with them from a collision repair perspective since Im not local, its clear from my interaction theyre honest, thorough, & will look out for the consumers best interests.

David Wilson Body Shop made the car repair process so smooth for me. When having my wifes front windshield replaced, I was notified by the Safelite technician that I had rust damage to the metal around the windshield. He told me that I would need an auto body shop to repair the rust damage in order to have my window replaced.My family just moved to the area a little more than a year ago and was not familiar enough to know where to have it repaired. I searched Google for body shops and noticed that Wilson Collision Center had very good reviews from almost 30 people. I also found out that they had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. I later dropped by and spoke with Anthony and found him to be a very personable person and got a very good sense that this was the right place to have our car repaired.Upon picking up our car, I found that they had thoroughly cleaned my wifes car inside and out which impressed me very much. The detailing job also allowed me to better see the work done around the window and helped me to see the thorough job that was done to replace the windshield and repair the rust.I highly recommend Wilson Collision Center for any auto body repairs. Every employee that I interacted with was very polite and provided excellent customer service.

I had a great experience working with all of the staff at Wilson Collision. They are very professional and always were super nice. My truck was hit by another driver and caused $10,000 worth of damage. It took three weeks for them to repair my vehicle and they always called me once a week to let me know how things were going and the repairs they were making to my truck. It looks like new and drives fabulous. David and Kevin went out of their way to do extra things to my truck and they did not have to do this. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needed auto body work on their vehicle. These guys are great!!!

Gastonia is lucky to have a professional body shop like David Wilsons shop. My husband had a minor accident in his work pick up and they did an excellent job fixing it. When he picked it up he was delighted to see that not only had they repaired it but they had detailed it to the point that it looked brand new again. When you take the time out to write a review you know it’s either really good or really bad... and here at this shop you will get and expect nothing but excellence!! I have been hit twice within a year. The first was a T-bone that totaled my van and Wilson’s handled everything in getting me a rental to making sure the insurance went smoothly. The second accident was a bump up on 85 calling for a new back bumper and a lot of dent and wrinkle repair. I’m absolutely shocked to know they were able to smooth the lines out back to its natural shape and didn’t have to repaint. The quick turn around time was also a plus because not having your own van and running 3 kids around it just doesn’t run as smoothly. It’s good to have my “Wanda” back and a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you at Wilson’s for taking care of us yet again!!

As someone who had never been in an accident before and didnt know what to do, he was a great help who spoke honestly about my situation. I didn’t feel pressured by them, but rather they were genuinely kind and wanted to help me.

David Wilson Body Shop has definitely raised the bar! Fortunately, we have not needed a body shop for a while, but my wifes car was bumped by someone else, so we started the process of getting it repaired. We thought this would be a laborious process, but we were so wrong! From the minute we contacted David Wilson, to when we picked up our SUV, we could not have been happier! David Wilson did an awesome job on my car. I crashed the front and they made my car look better then when I first got it. And they were on point with the estimated wait time to get everything completed.I would definitely go back if I ever need to (hopefully I wont). Great experience at this body shop. My car was pelted with big rocks falling off a truck on the highway. They blended the old and new paint perfectly, shines like glass. They used OEM parts and negotiated the whole event with my insurance company. They even set up my rental car. They kept me informed of ther progress as they did the work.Great experience at Dave Wilson’s, my 6 year old infinity looks new. I’ve gotten a few compliments on it since I picked it up.

Kevin and staff were most excellent. Their customer service was awesome, and it was so very kind that the owners took the time to come over, speak with my wife and I personally, and to take special interest in our repairs.I got to see my repairs underway, and the shop went to bat for us, to ensure that OEM parts were installed, vs. used, or substandard parts that the insurance company directed them to use.I am most happy with their work, and will strongly recommend their services for anyone who is unfortunate enough to have been in a bender, and need body work :)
