I took my car down there to get painted after a week they call me to pick it up and it was not what I expected. My car had over spray on the rims and in other places he told me that u will get over spray. I told him about it then he told me to bring my car back and they would fix it. Then I left my car once again the girl didn’t do her job I had to stay down there all day just so I can get the same results. I guess u get what u pay for but to me if u won’t people to come back it doesn’t matter what u pay a person still deserves quality work. I do not recommend anyone to take their cars to this place. The employees don’t do their jobs and the manager does not go behind them to make sure the job is done right.

My 94 Toyota truck was painted in March of 2016. I opted for the $600 deal at that time. I feel it was a job well done for the price. It warranted for 4 years and lasted 4 years. Yes, I would let them paint it again!

Took my 07 Nissan in for a paint job and they actually did a pretty good job. My issue came with missing items from the vehicle. Loose change, radar, and a gold chain from the center console. I went in to inquire about the missing items and was advised they were not responsible because they have signs posted. First off the signs were not visible unless they pointed it out to you. 2 8×10 signs were on a wall facing the opposite direction from the door. There was no sense of empathy regarding items stolen from my vehicle while in their possession. I was just told theyve had break ins in the past. Just make sure if you go here to double check for valuables in your vehicle and ask them to please lock your doors at night.

If I could rate them -10 I would. We brought our 1971 Mach 1 in to be painted and was told it would be a week, ended up being 3 days shy of 2 weeks. Ok, no biggie but...the paint looks horrible. Nothing but orange peel!!! Husband calls and tells Chad about it and he claims it was because of the body work...wrong!!! Then he claims that all of their paint jobs will have some orange peel to them???!!!?? Chad says, “I don’t know what to tell you.” Obviously they don’t know much about how to paint a car and nor do they care if they screw up a job. It was $1000.00 down the drain!!! Please spend the extra money and get your vehicle painted at a place that cares about their work and not just about the money. I repeat please look elsewhere!!! Read all the negative reviews!!

Great paint and body for people on a budget, especially veterans

I brought in my old 2000 Mercedes hoping they could help me out with my headlights, not only did they get them looking new with a restoration they saved me money from having to buy new ones! If I ever need anything painted I will definitely bring it to them! Love it!

Wow like night and day! Last year I would have recommended to anyone. Car looked good price was good . Today my girl got an estimate and prices are high ....really high. The cars dont have any shine??? Is it even more money to get gloss .

Dropped my car off on a Sunday night to have my bumper repaired and was told to expect it to be done by Wednesday or Thursday. Thursday rolls around and haven’t heard from them so I called and was told it would be ready Friday morning. I was scheduled to go out of town early Friday morning so I was trying to figure out what to do and see about getting an estimated time of when it would be done. Chad then got an attitude with me so I told him I’d just have my mother in-law to pick it up for me. Upon arriving back in town I went to inspect my bumper and noticed it was still messed up and the side of it wasn’t even connected to the fender. Monday driving home from work I noticed all the change in a small compartment where I keep it was all missing along with my phone charger. I then called to question why the job wasn’t finished and why things were stolen out of my car. Chad then told me that he forgot to call and tell me that I needed one more part to complete my bumper yet he remembered to call me to tell me my car was done. I asked him about the change and charger and he said the car probably got left unlocked and someone probably hopped the fence and took it. This is completely unacceptable and I will be calling corporate. I’ve read several other reviews stating that things have been stolen from their car. Terrible experience, terrible service and awful work done to my car.

Did a really awful job had piles of leaves in the back of my car, dont know how that got there, broke my eclipse sign on the back of my car. Paint was already chipping on my bumper so I asked and I was told a lie that it was the condition of my bumper, so I took it to another shop and was told it wasnt sanded down properly outside of someone there totally driving my car, I feel you should never go to this place or or recommend anyone else going seriously considering talking to an attorney about damages done to my carIn regards to your response and I never said I would do the prepworks I paid extra to have the color change and properly sanded down I was happy at first but the more I looked at the many different things that are screwed up I will add pictures if necessary because the bottom of my car is clearly not painted

I just had the roof and hood of my truck painted, base and clear coat. Very reasonable price and they did a very nice job. There were a few minor things I could gripe about, such as pieces of tape left on the truck and dust here and there that wasn’t cleaned off. For the money though the paint job was great. So 5 out of 5!

Picked up my vehicle today from having a repaint done on a few areas. Items were missing from the vehicle. Sun glasses, spare change and other misc. items. All in all good customer service, but very bad experience on creating a trust factor with this company. I know times are rough, but apparently whomever removed our personal items needed them more than us!

I would not recommend this establishment, unless you dont value your possessions. They actually did a fairly good paint job but personal belongings were stolen from my vehicle because they left the doors unlocked. No one wanted to take responsibility for it and we had to call the police and file a report. I will also be contacting the corporate office to discuss the matter. This is completely unacceptable. Take heed before you leave your vehicle at this location.

I would highly recommend you not give them your business. Took my car in to be painted, 8 days later I picked up my car when it was dark (December). The next day I notice blotching areas, bubbles, scratches on my mirrors and other areas of the car. I brought my car back to them the day after picking it up and was told theyd fix the issues and Id have to bring it back after 30 days since paint had to dry/settle...whatever. I arranged to have an employee meet me with rental car at 7:30AM since I had to be at work; I was the only person there until 8AM and they decide to point the finger at me about lack of understanding. So, I came back on my lunch and dropped off my car. Less than 2 days later I get an EMAIL stating my car was ready. I go to pick it up and there is a rough/unpolished area on the trunk, more areas of paint on the trim, scratches remained on the mirrors and window trim, AND now the door to my gas tank was not closing as it had, almost like a misalignment. Chad, the manager began arguing with me about the fact that the part on the trunk was there (yeah, definitely not, I have pictures and videos) and they wouldnt fix the gas door. Ive called corporate and they have been anything but helpful. Honestly, this business does not seem to stand by their work and has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Do not give them your business, if you do you might be in my situation or have to make multiple attempts to the business and risk them damaging your car.

I had to have collision repairs and I also had a paint job done as well. I am so pleased with the results of the body and paint work . Juan and his staff was very help full and friendly. The service was fast, quality of work was great and the prices were very affordable. Good Job Maaco!

Brittany called me and wanted to repaint my truck so i took it over there. So in just two days it was done. It was the right color iam so happy with it thank you maco i will be back.

Broke the gear shift knobe then they said we brought the car to them like that then said someone tried to break in to the car but we knew that that was false so dont ever go to that place the mess your car up then they lie about and then they say you brought it to them like that so dont even think about going there and they care nothing about how they handle you car

I paid to get my car painted grey they painted it black and they painted grey and told me come back after a month to get repainted and everything was stole out my car and i know it was a inside job because a theif aint gonna clean up after i really do not reccomend the maaco in gastonia terrible service...

Good price and sales people were very helpful in getting me setup. I had an area behind an emblem that I needed painted and they were able to help me get it painted a few months later.

They have painted my car twice in two weeks and the second time is worse than the first time. There is so much dust under the paint that my car looks like it has chicken poxs,not to mention all the run and air bubbles in the paint. I am ashamed to even drive it!!! I took it to another Maaco and they even said it was inexcusable .corporate office says that the claim is closed I payed $1700.09 cash to have a good paint job with a 5 year warranty . I would not let the Maaco in Gastonia paint a dog house for me!!!! I will be talking to my lawyer tomorrow. Even corporate told me to do what I had to do. So sad that a company does not care about its customers! My advice is not to let Maaco ever paint a car for you!

This location done a fantastic job bringing my old Toyota tacoma back to life for a little over $400 Im very impressed with the work they done and would recommend this place to others!

I hit a small animal by accident and it cracked the front bumper so I purchased a replacement number but it needed painting to match the car I took it to maaco and they painted the bump and the paint job they performed looked just as good as the factory for 1 tenth of what the closest next estimate was. I was very happy with the Gastonia Maaco.
