Good service overall. They’re not the cheapest place to get work done but they are very good and efficient with their time. Larry did a great job of getting me a rental when I needed it. Overall, very pleased!

Was asked by salesperson if I wanted to have anything removed off of the car. I told him yes, my orange brake caliper covers. The only reason I hadnt done it yet was because I wasnt planning on trading it so soon. But I wanted them back. Now Im being told, its not possible due to it be appraised as is. Those are aftermarket parts & anyone that sells cars knows any aftermarket part installation brings the car value down. I will be reaching out to the headquarters & corporate office, today.

I have waited a few months before adding my review. I bought my vehicle used back in May due to getting hit head on by a distracted driver. It was a vehicle that one of their own employees had turned in. Not even two days after buying my vehicle the check engine light turns on. Reached out, had to go through multiple people before getting someone to take care of it. Found multiple holes throughout the exhaust system, they offer to fix it. Get my truck back and they did a sloppy spot weld on the exhaust and didn’t even fix all of the holes but no check engine light though (for a few days). While there Im told that they knew the check engine light was turning on and off and that if it happens again that I am better off taking it somewhere else because they use an outside shop that is not affiliated with them. Long story short I have had to invest over $1500 into this truck to keep it running right. The same PO420 code kept coming on even after they claimed to have fixed it. Valve cover gasket was blown along with the seals which with this specific vehicle required an entire brand new valve cover (left and right) which caused me to have to replace spark plugs and ignition coils (which aren’t cheap). Also the drive belt was dry rotted and was about to break. I understand there is a risk to buying used, but check engine lights that are known about should be fixed prior to going out on the floor. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless you are buying a BRAND new vehicle that no one has touched yet.
If you are considering buying a Jeep, don’t waste your time visiting other dealerships. Capital Chrysler Jeep Dodge is the only place you should visit. They make the process simple and easy. Unfortunately, we had an issues with our new Grand Cherokee L and it could not be fixed due to supply shortages of the part needed. However, Steven Best worked with us and Jeep and got us a new vehicle. This was an inconvenience to us all, but they came through and made it right. This is the second vehicle we have purchased from them and we will continue to buy from them in the future.

Second visit to this dealership for warranty related repairs. Both of my visits were seamless. My vehicle was immediately taken back upon my arrival. Issues were corrected and on my way within two hours. Thats them diagnosising the issues and replacing parts. Never once have I heard the famous dealership quote of we couldnt duplicate the problem. Clean, efficiently run, courtesy place.
I came here last Thursday for the Express Lane oil change and the service rep told me it would be an hour and a half so I needed to make an appointment and come back. I went in today, with a 9:30 am appointment, and was there an hour and twenty minutes. So, there is no such thing as express oil change here. Just go to a quick oil change place.

I visited Dodge this morning because I was concern about my seatbelt cover hanging off. My concern was the cover had writing on it suggesting that my Air bag was located there(it wasn’t). Fernando Sanchez was the technician that helped me and relaxed my nerves by taking his time to explain to me that my airbag was not located there. He also fixed my cover in record time and was so courteous and polite. I will be coming back in the future to Fernando Sanchez and will recommend all of my family and friends to him. Thank you Dodge for hiring this young man he is a valued asset to your company and I hope you realize it.

Very good servicecenter. Came in from out of town on business thinking I knew what was wrong with my truck, and how they needed to fix it. Left the truck with them and there diagnosis proved not only did I not know, but my home mechanic apparently didnt either. Gave me a write up to take to him, put in a bypass to get me rolling, could not say enough good stuff about them. Fernando is the man, and I owe him yet another apology, as I was kind of an a$$, he dealt with it and got me going, professionally at all times.

This entire team was fantastic! Darrion was the friendliest, helpful, honest and non pushy sales guy I’ve ever dealt with. My original purchase did not work out and I worked directly with the GM Steven and he made it right in every possible way! I took my new car in for its first oil change and tire rotation today and had a very good experience.I made an appt online last week and was able to get the day and time I wanted.When I arrived this AM, the Service person greeted me right away and started the process.I did some work in the waiting area while they worked on my car. It would be nice if there was a quieter place to wait, but that may just be a temporary waiting area due to covid (its open to the show room ) I dont know.The work was finished quickly and everyone was helpful and friendly. That made an inconvenient task (routine car maintenance) much more bearable. 🙂
I will never return to this dealership! 5 months later and we are still waiting for our tags and have to keep coming up there to get new 30 day tags. 2 letters from the bank stating they were coming to get the vehicle due to no title nor paperwork and all I keep getting is the title was lost…. It doesn’t take 5 months to get a title. Been there twice and still nothing! I would not recommend them to anyone! The sales manager was a complete jerk as well!

Upon arrival, very busy place, lots of customers, but seem to be only one person working the service desk. Though other employees were present. The CS rep checking me in for my appointment, did not have a record of my online appointment, all yet good. This was my first visit here since relocating & atmosphere totally different from prior dealership in Smithfield.

So we have been looking for a new Wrangler for 2 weeks. Our needs were specific so finding exactly what we wanted was a lot of work. We actually looked at 6 dealerships and it was painful! This morning I found what we were looking for and called Harry at Capital Jeep took us 2 hours to get there and a little less than 1.5 hours to test drive and depart in a new Jeep. I went in for a tire rotation and they did it and told me my car was fine. Turns out they did not do much whatever they did, it undid itself or something Bc now my car doing the same thing as if did before and I called several times and they were not helpful at all. I will NEVER come back here again.
I’ve always had great service here. This time I was pleasantly surprised as my vehicle was done 4 days before I was told it would be done.
It was fine, respectful treatment, clean waiting area, but even though I had and appointment it took about an hour to be done.

I bought a 2020 Toyota Highlander from here in May of 2021. After discussing the warranty with my husband, the day after I bought the highlander, I came in and signed cancellation for it. Bill (the finance guy) worked diligently to get the cancellation processed, he explained that the warranty was processed on June 23. I have yet to receive any communication from Capital Corporate regarding this refund and it has now been 2 full months. Im super disappointed with how this has been handled and would not go through a car buying process from here again because of the lack of communication with the finance guy at Garner from Corporate - he only knows what they tell him which isnt much of anything.UPDATED 8/19/21:I still have yet to receive the refund check, and if I didnt actively email to ask about it I think nobody would ever have done anything to follow-up. I had the same issue when I didnt get my second key for my car and they said they would get it to me - I had to actively call and email to get anything done. At the end of the day, they seem like they just want to sell you the car and be done with you. (Maybe things will change, but thats how I feel right now and Im beyond frustrated)

I’m giving a ONE STAR for this location. I ordered a part and was told it would be there the next day. Never got a call about my part being there. Waited a WHOLE week to see if they would call and they didn’t. So I called them to see if my part was in. Which it was and had been there since the day it was supposed to be there. Come to find out they said they were just too busy to call me and let me know the part was there. But when I went in the dealership they are all talking, laughing, playing around not doing anything. I’m very disappointed in this location. And I spend a lot of money with them. They will not get anything else from me.
I dropped my Jeep off for a check engine light. No one got back to me.The person that I was dealing with was off the following day. Just got his VMI will not be referring anyone to this dealership
This location provides awesome service. I went in for an oil change but I had an issue with my tire for the longest time. I had taken it to another location twice but they did not find the issue. The technician found the problem and resolved it in minutes. The staff is friendly and frequently provides updates on what is being done.
Ive been here twice so far and theyve done a great job each time, got the work done quickly and did a great work, reps are very polite, I really cant think of any way they can improve.

On Saturday, 20 February 2021, I was car shopping for a specific model of Challenger. Realizing there are few choices of this model with the options I desired in North Carolina, we chose to make the 3 hour drive to Garner late in the afternoon on Saturday. Upon arriving at Capital, we were greeted by several sales agents outside the front entrance. All of them were extremely friendly and cordial .We made an appointment with Johnny in the sales department through the web site on the drive down. After the introduction with Johnny, it soon became apparent that he was professional, but he was also down to Earth and a joy to work with.The dealership had 2 of the models I was looking for ( one white, one gray) and after taking a test drive, I was torn between colors. By this time it was getting dark outside. Johnny was thoughtful enough to pull both vehicles under the lighting for me to look at side by side to help my decision.Even though it was close to 8 pm and closing hours for the dealership on a Saturday evening, Johnny was impressive with his patience in an attempt to help us make a deal. I was also impressed that the General Sales Manager took the time to come out and speak with us. In the end, even though we came VERY close to making a deal; we did not. I left disappointed, and I would have liked to give them my business. I dont have anything negative to say about the dealership nor the employees. I would deal with them again, even with a 3 hour drive.

Traveling from Kentucky and had issues with my diesel truck def fuel system. Joe Tomberlin was very helpful even though the parts were back ordered until mid July. The team put me in a loaner for the week while we decided path forward on the repairs. Will be glad when the parts supply chain is back up to full speed

We all know vehicles are very expensive these days. The dealer has to make their profit or they wouldn’t be in business, but what really matters is that if you leave a car lot with your brand new automobile and you’re happy, that’s what matters. This was my experience dealing with Capital jeep. I have purchased four vehicles from them. Yes, it’s all a back-and-forth negotiating game, but if you get what you want and you’re happy, and it’s where you need to be with a vehicle, then that should be all that matters. Everybody from our sales person, to the general manager, to Larry in the service department have been top-notch with Larry going above and beyond an issue I had that was resolved quickly. I have never worked with a dealership that is as much concerned as their customers as this one. Before you purchase your next vehicle, go try them out.
Went and got a used passat yesterday, Destin was a great help! They have a very welcoming and honest sales team and that’s hard to find! They weren’t overly pushy and had plenty of cars in my price range!
Edit to include the “Owner” reply was the relations manager. He contacted me and the issue was never resolved. Highly disappointed with the lack of care within their staff.It has been over 90 days since purchasing my vehicle, and I just received an improper tag and registration. I have been trying to contact them for nearly three months now, and with over a dozen calls and voicemails to the finance managers I have not a received a SINGLE call back. They do not care about you as a customer once they have the sale.I wanted to transfer my original tag, which had 45 days remaining until it expired. The admin department failed to transfer/renew my tag in time (even though they had a month and a half to do so), leading them to then have to apply for a completely new tag/registration. Now, nearly three months since purchasing the vehicle, the tag arrived, but is not the proper plate (specialty university plate) and the expiration is incorrect.I would like to say that the salesman I had (Destin) was fantastic through the buying experience, and has tried to assist in the ongoing and prolonged registration dilemma. If only the remaining experience was as great.I am still awaiting a response from a manager or owner of the dealership.

Mike was great in coming to a price we both could live with. The Finance man Mr. Black was very professional and not pushy as some F&I guys can be. Overall 5 stars. I had a problem with my new Ram and I called around to get it fixed the wait was long because I needed a loaner car but Capital Dodge got it in and I had to wait for parts but that was only a couple of days and when they came they did a great getting my Ram fix I was really impressed with the service I got and I’m glad I went I’ll be getting all my work done there
