The best in the Metrolex! It has been 8 years since I first walked thru Five Star Cycles door. My needs were met then, and today, I ran to them and they saved the day. The price is fair, and often a more than that. Mark, an employee, has been phenomenal since day one! Dont waste time looking if you have any cycle related issues, take it in and become a friend.

Fast tire change decent selection, only thing I would change when giving price for item with service give total price including tax. If somehow it ends up more you could he putting a customer in a tough spot. Other than that friendly service!
I really didnt want to write a review, but they they deserve it.In August I gave them my Yamaha r6 so they put in a new faring . Mark at the reception said that it requires him 2 days of work to put all the faring. It took them one month to instal the faring, then me finding out that...they broke all my left side faring I dont know how that happend. Also I got to find out all the parts were not put in right. They had used a metal washer and glue against the fairing stay. they broke few screws and left it that way for me to fix it . After a month I got upset when I realize and went for my bike I drove few miles the front break locked on the wheel. the guy from shop come to help Take the bike back to the shop .mark said it the caliper which needed to be rebuilt and fixed and again another week just to fix the caliper and they Didnt get rid of the problem and another 250 bucks Wasted.Now after I spoke with Yamaha machine I realize that when they Change my front tire they damage the Brembo master cylinder. It’s been almost 2months and I am still waiting on them to take responsibility and send me the parts they broke . They rip me off so good . They are not professionals at all . I tried to work with them and they don’t even have respect for costumers time and don’t take responsibility on the damage.

Got my rear tire replaced and when I got home I saw my chain wasn’t adjusted right. So I had to adjust it myself since someone didn’t know how. The f$@# five stars? I’ll never get my %#@$ done here again!
Had new brakes put on. Five Star did not bleed them properly. The brake lever traveled 1/3 of its movement before any resistance was felt. Air in the line. Five Star never test rode after work was done. As a 40 year veteren rider, I totaled the bike in light rain the next day when the front wheel locked during easy braking. Two broken ribs and dislocated shoulder. Owner was very rude and despite the obvious brake lever travel said nothing was wrong. He then proceeded to charge me extra, unauthorized fees, which I had to pay before I could get my bike back. Get it in writing with this outfit and hope they do it right! Crashing is no fun.
Very expensive. Overcharged me. Need some tuneup. They literally worked for 5 hours but claimed to work for 7 hours. Avoid this place as they will try to steal your money.

Took my bike here for inspection. They got everything sorted out for me when it didnt pass. They fixed everything I needed and then my bike died when I was on my way home! Guess what!? THEY PICKED ME UP AND TOOK ME TO THE SHOP! Talk about service.

Just returned home from my second visit to Five Star. My first visit there was purely out of convenience, I needed a tire and theyre located within a mile of my house. I didnt call ahead for pricing, but I paid about what I was expecting to pay, and they had me on the road again in the time I expected them to take.I brought my bike to them today for an oil change. Again, I felt like I paid a fair price and the speed of service met my expectations. I dont typically leave reviews, but I was very happy with my experience with Mark today. He recommended a couple of other routine maintenance services, but there was no pressure from him to have the work done then and there. I was aware of the other things he mentioned, and I felt as though he was looking out for my bike, and not just trying to upsell me. He also noticed a few things I could adjust to improve my riding experience. instead of giving me a quote to do the work for me, he told me how I could do it myself at home.After leaving, I noticed something very minor and brought my bike back to them. Mark checked it out for me, took my bike back into the shop, and had my concern addressed within minutes.I really appreciated Marks integrity while talking to me about my bike, and he has earned my future business.

Do NOT come to this place for service work. They will try to take advantage of you. They are only good for tires and thats it.
Came in for a tire change and inspection for my FZ-09. Fast and friendly service. They forgot to add my inspection to the bill and when I told them about it he said “don’t worry about it.” If you are looking for honest and fair prices this is the place.

I have a 20 years old bike. A 1999 R6, and these guys are awesome. I’ve had to replace a lot of parts on it just because it’s old, which I understand. These guys always kept pointing out parts that I needed replaced in the future and always kept me updated on what I needed. These guys have the best prices around town and are honest. If you have a bike that you really are proud of these guys will take care of as if it were their own.

Five star was my go to place for tire replacements, but I hate how they do service.I took my 2003 sv650 in (which has been sitting for two years) and the $65 diagnostic said it needed $878 worth of work. I said NOT to do the $250 fork seal replacement or the $70 oil change, and then purchased (not through 5 star, so I thought that would save $225 of parts (tire and chain) from the original quote) a new gas tank (old one was sludge), chain, sprockets, front and rear tires, and fuel pump rebuild kit.I asked that they install the parts I purchased, and get it to pass inspection.Today I picked up the bike (it passed inspection!) and apparently the $65 chain install from the diagnostic became $130 (I guess it took them TWO HOURS to install a chain?), but the worst part was after paying $859 ($20 less than the original quote with the fork seal replacement + oil change I had them forgo), as I was driving away, I realized the rear brake completely didnt work (it worked when I brought it in, as it wasnt on the giant list of things they said I needed).I asked how it passed inspection with only one brake and they said that they werent able to take it out due to the weather, but that they could fix it for $65, and after saying fine, just fix it, 15 minutes later they told me it was ready to be picked up.Apparently they needed to bleed the rear brake (I guess that isnt included with the many hours it took to replace the rear tire, sprocket, and chain).When all is said and done, it was $929 of basically all labor, and I can confidently say I will never bring a bike back to five star cycles, because even though they are $65 an hour, they charge you for so many hours, youre better off getting service at other shops for $95 an hour, where they charge you a fair amount of hours.FYI, by posting a good review, you get $5, so take the good reviews like a grain of salt.But YMMV

I want to thank Mark at 5 star cycle for recommended me a shorty lever for my 2018 Yamaha MT-09. Ever since they install it on my bike it felt much better than my stock lever was. I would definitely come back for my next upgrade soon.
Had a great first experience today. Took the bike in for a tire and they gave me some advice on what needs to be fixed and when to maintain some things with the bike. Being that this is my first bike I love all the help and info I could get! Ill be back.
A friend of mine has used them for a long time and they come highly recommended. Ive only had my tires replaced, but I will be back. They were really friendly and willing to answer my naive questions ahead of a long distance trip Im doing next month. I know that doesnt say much about their mechanical abilities, but based on my friends recommendation and how I was treated, I feel comfortable taking my bike there in the future.
A year ago, Five Star checked out a bike I was buying for free. I figured I would return the favor and bring them some work on a used bike I bought. They worked on a multitude of things and Five Star, specifically Joel, kept me in the loop on the progress of the repairs. Joel sent videos of the issues they found, asked to proceed when we deviated from the original plan, and they gave me the measurements on the work done (the actual sheet the tech used). My original parts were returned to me and the bike runs great. Five Star has great people working for them, they do great work, and their pricing is in-line with their service.
I’m a new rider not knowledgeable about bikes but when I called the guys at 5 star cycles they helped with my Harley and do have really great prices on everything from tires to labor way better then other shops and dealerships I called but they also spent time to give me some pointers, safety tips just things they did not have to do. They have diff earned my business as a permanent loyal customer. Thank you !
Both the cashier and mechanics seem a bit dull, all the times Ive been there I always try and spark a conversion so I can get to know them. However, they have incredibly economical prices, work quick, and have quality service. I recommended at least 5 bikers there already.

I had a great experience at five star! I had a nail in my tire, and when no place was open or had the size tube i needed! These guys were open when most places werent. And had the part most places didnt! The guys went above and beyond and I definitely recommend five star cycles!
Supremely CLUTCH on my inspection, went back and bought a front tire, had it on my bike in an instant. Seriously, they extremely helpful. Excellent prices too.
Left my motorcycle at the shop for over 1 month and they never looked at my bike, tried to baby sit them and call a few times to remind them about my bike, when I initially gave it to them he said he could help me out no problem, over a month later and a few phone calls he claims he was too busy to get to it, even though I left it there for a month, wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone
Had my bike way longer than expected. Went there for diagnostic all they could come up with was to much oil on my plug. To go any further would cost me $600. Go to maxim if you want a real diagnostic. I wondered why it was only $65 now it makes sense.

Best shop in town! Its a shame we have to search all over to find an an honest business these days. The guys over at Five Star are clearly focused on building customers for life.. and not the same ol churn-n-burn service you get elsewhere.

Great customer care. I brought my bike and tires in to get them installed. Was never pressured into buying tires from them and the install was a great price. They even called me to tell me my rear brakes needed to be changed, which I didnt want them to replace because I do my own brakes, and again was never pressured into having them perform my brake service. A week after they installed my tires, the wheel weight fell off. I brought it back to him and they replaced the weight and balanced the tire for free within 15 minutes.

Came in early morning and they took care of with a new set of tires quickly and professionally installed. Been here a couple times. Would make the 45 min drive again if need be.

Took my brothers bike to them to get a new rear tire...... got the bike back with a new tire and a broke rear brake lever!! They refuse to replace what they broke and want to blame it on Chinese parts. Its a 2014 gsxr 750 in MINT condition. If you want parts broken and not replace THIS IS YOUR PLACE TO GO!! 🚮🚮
