Best choice for Kerala Food - we have been over to Kea multiple times for groceries, meat, fish, and home style cooked food including Kerala snacks (pazham pori, bonda, vada, samosa etc.). Their quality and taste are both authentic and unique. We had recently ordered Onam Sadya from Kea. Starting with the punctuality to all the way to the taste - it was authentic.The shop owners are very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

We recently celebrated onam with KEA onam food. I must say their food was so amazing especially adaprathaman payasam. On another occasion, i was eating his chorum kariyum with some guests fom New York, they also said the best food they ever eaten. Keep it going KEA and their staff

Has no price tags in some products and unreasonable price on certain goods.

So I go to this place because I am hoping they have spring rolls wraps that you can fry. As soon as i go in, there is no one there, anywhere. No problem, i go straight to the frozen section and look. I am pressed for time because i have company coming over. I look quick and find nothing. Still I see no one. So i go walking down the store to see if i can find someone to ask, and in the far back i see a man sitting eating i think in the kitchen area. So he looks at me and asks me how he can help me. I asked him if they sold the egg wraps, spring rolls wraps that you can fry. He looks and says, No we do not, we can not help you, sorry. So i turn around and see a lady go into the restroom as I am walking back to the freezer isle. I start to look closer in the freezer isle and guess what i find, exactly what i need in the lower rack a little far back. So i walk to the man that was still eating and never got up, and show him that i found what i was looking for. He said, you found what you need, I said yes and i am ready to pay. so he sits there looking at me and make a motion with his hands and his mouth. So i figure he is just going to finish chewing that food in his mouth. So i go to the register and wait for about 5 min and nothing. The guy never came out. Then the lady comes out of the restroom and sees me and walks by saying hello, I ask her if she may help me because I am ready to pay. She looks at me and says that the man will be able to help me, but i tell her that he is eating and hasnt come out. she looks dis-trout and says, he will come out when he is done eating. Are you kidding me!! Really! she sees my concern on my face and says that she will go and ask him. So she goes to him, then comes back and gets what i am purchasing and takes them to him. Then she comes back, rings up the items and yells the total to the man, then she yells how much i am paying and yells what my change is. He never gets up! Then she says she is sorry and i leave. Would i go back... Probably only because it is closer than the Asian market...Would i wish there was another Asian market closer here, YES!!!

It’s truly a blessing to have a store like KEA near us for all of us longing for Indian Food and Groceries. I can’t believe all those people leaving bad feedbacks ever know the owner of this store takes care of his customers. Every single customer is treated with utmost love and care and I appreciate his dedication and love for his customers!!We, my family and friends truly appreciate the taste and quality of the food from KEA and recommend the food for anyone, blindfolded...

Be cautious, unethical owner costs all corners to make a profit. He has been discovered taking discarded/expired meat and produce from local big chain grocery stores then using it at his store and kitchen for resale. How shameful of a human being must you be, how far are you willing to go to make an extra dollar?

Great selection and great food. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. This is where you get fresh food and veggies and spices. The catering is top notch. Best Indian food in greater Dallas!

Carried almost all of the south Indian stuff we were looking for, wasnt expensive. Has catering and meal carryout options as well( we havent tasted the food but heard it was good and that infact the business is known more for it)

My experience with this store and the owners have been great! You can find everything you need in this store and the food is very tasty, Im a huge fan of the beef fry and the fish curry! We always order food from here and never find a reason to complain. I would recommend this store to anyone.

I tried Chili mushroom 🍄 today.Enjoyed eating. Nice thing about this place is they introduce new recipes and cuisine. And of all, nobody can beat biryani and butter chicken from here

We used KEA Import Food for our appetizers at our wedding. The guests were raving about the delicious food and how flavorful everything was. The staff were prompt and always responsive to any questions we had before the wedding as well. I’m so glad we went with KEA Imports for our appetizers and of course the mango lassi as well! It was the perfect way to start the reception!

We hired Siby (owner) and the KEA Imports team for our wedding to serve appetizers during our cocktail hour. We were thrilled to have chosen them for this task. We had so many guests come to our during and after the wedding mentioning our delicious everything was. Hes got several options to choose from, all of which were delicious. We were very happy how things turned out!

Good place. HOWEVER I HAVE A MAJOR CONCERN ABOUT FROZEN FISHES IN PACKETS FROM INDIA. IT HAS BEEN TREATED WITH BAD CHEMICALS TO PRESERVE LIKE FORMALIN WHICH IS VERY BAD FOR HEALTH. This is not an issue with the grocery shop BUT THE IMPORTER SHOULD BE CAREFUL. WE WILL REPORT TO FDA IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN AND AGAIN AND THEY WILL LOSE THE LICENSE !

I bought a Mask from this, but the quality of the mask is disgusting. When I informed them regarding issues, they made me to wait for nearly one hour and they responded rude manner....It is Very Bad Service

Superb grocery food selection. Fresh and hot food also available. Sibi the chef and owner is legendary for his chicken biriyani. Really you cant go wrong with any of his food. Attached restaurant. Catering and take out available with some of the best prices in town.

Do not buy anything from this place. We bought a bag of rice from here which expired in 2017 and we didn’t notice it until we opened the bag and it was full of black bugs. We took the bag back to the store and they refused to give us the money back. If you’re buying anything from here please check the date.

Be carefull of this place lot of expired items in the inventory,also Pay attention to when you checkout.. if you wont pay attention the guy in the counter will sneak in some items to your total.he already did that to me 4,5 times.He is very good at steeling customers money..

On my daughters wedding KEA Imports provided the appetizer and that was so good and they kept the quality of the snacks as five star hotel standard. I do recommend everyone to KEA Imports.

Dont ever order catering from KEA IMPORTS even if its your last resource. We had ordered past week for a function and was disappointed to the very extend...Owner kept on repeating YEARS OF FOOD SERVICE but was worse than a beginner, Half of the orders were not fresh...Was told to me by a close friend from St. Thomas Knanaya Church, Irving that on Good Friday this year even the NERCHA KANJI was short by half of the given count and was given excuse of missing tray by the owner... We did a big mistake by not cancelling the order, the taste of the food was all because of taste-makers not because of freshness !!!Im writing the review because of multiple invitees complaining of not getting enough mango lassi, meat puffs and moreover FEELING SLEEPY AFTER THE MEAL !!!!!!RATING - 0/5

Guys,I cant believe we ignored the warnings and got in such a tragic situation !One word experience with the catering service is CHEATING !!Believe me, we have never been through this situation and pray no one ever be in one like this when u have guests from all over United States !!!The offers sounded Best food, customer satisfaction and lot more... I would describe the experience as pure cheating, reasons are because 2 functions I attented in 2 weeks span including ours were disappointing and disgusting !We were told a rate which was reasonable, I agree but my husband specifically told Sibi chettan that there shouldnt be any compromise with quality of food... Sibi chettan told Thats what I have been doing for 30 odd years, I consider this as my personal responsibility blah blah blah...But reality was entirely opposite !!!# Suggest you all dont trust what he offers, in worst scenario get the rate and dishes in writing.. so u have the proof when u go to pay off...NB - 3rd function was suppose to be this weekend and our friend cancelled the order after our experience even before we wrote a review !

Im regretting to refer my friends to KEA Imports for a catering service !Heard a lot of negatives from people who attented, pointing out some below1. Food wasnt fresh2. Had to wait in line to get Mango lassi out of container, when asked for an alternate solution to get lassi from dispenser, owner ignored and kept on shaking the dispenser to get lassi out.3. Taste-makers were used causing drowsiness afterwards4. Half of the dishes were stored inside the containers and had to prompt to get it out (felt like we were asking for extra servings)5. Last but not least Miscalculations, both my friends had lots of mis-matching rates from what were told while placing order !!!!To the owner Sibi,If you read this review, I seriously suggest you to be at least sincere or kind with customers so they dont have to bow-down infront of their guests !!!

Great place to get South Indian groceries, especially anything from Kerala, india. I been to here to buy jackfruit which was really good and the salesman helped to pick a good one. It was hard to search something inside, cluttered. Its better to ask the salesman to find the stuff which you want instead of searching in your own!!!
