The selection is so wide, they have so many things. You can find everything you need for Asian cuisine here. It does smell a little like fish, but I’m not complaining. The smell makes me a little nostalgic, actually. Brings back good memories of shopping at different markets with my mother. Overall great staff, food, and pots/pans selection.
Good selection of fruits and vegetables but they dont really have a selection of fishballs and the prices werent the best.
The store it self is amazing. But be very careful around the people. Someone tried to hack my bank account by skimming my debit card in my wallet!
I am use to my Asian market in Tarrant County, Arlington. I have moved to Rowlett...thus far this is the Best Asian Market. The Market has a variety of fish and other produce that I am accustomed to.
Ive been many times and have had great experiences. On my last visit i brought $30.00 worth of salmon heads. I put the bag in my fridge, the next day my refrigerator smelled like the fish was bad, it was. If the fish was going bad or needed to be cooked immediately it should have been labeled. i wont be buying any fresh items here any more. But i will buy packaged items. it was a waste of $30.00 and a huge disappointment.
Always fun coming here. Every time I go Ill pick up some unusual item. Staff is very helpful.
Store is big and doesnt have the bad distinguish smells like others. They offers variety products, dried or frozen ones straight from Asian countries. Prices are decent
This is our closest go-to spot for an Asian market & it never disappoints. Prices are decent and they have a wide selection of fruits, vegetables, meat & spices. Its always clean, stocked & well organized. The checkout line is always fast so you dont have to sit there waiting to get your food started at home.
This place is was totally worth the drive. My wife finally got the small pork intestine she has been craving. They have an excellent selection of fresh sea food. Everything from crawfish to lobster. They have a crazy good selection of fruits and vegetables. In Tyler 1 green mangoes is 5$ here they have on sale 4 for 5$. If your looking for Thai good this is the place.
👍 Great Store for Oriental variety 👍 This place have plenty of Asian Grocery more than others store ... and ... cost less ... ♦♦✅♦♦
Worst Asian grocery store. Everything is much more EXPENSIVE than other Asian groceries store, like 99 ranch or H-mart. Also food is not fresh. We will go somewhere else next time. Never come back here again.
Great first time going and i will def return
If youre looking for the best rice, asian food, fish market, this is it! Amazing fruit and everything else! I chanced on this looking for great rice, and was amazed and will make this a frequent shopping stop! Im an international flight attendant and found things here I could only find in Japan or other Asian cities before! And they are very helpful! My new favorite store! The fish market is incredible!
Your fish market are admirable. The veggies are fresh and they are near where We go to church- convenient. Your staff are inherently friendly, too
The cashier I had was so professional and courteous. However I bought an imported rock crab it had white colored growths on it that looked unappetizing. I have never seen the American blue crab have that type of abnormality so I did not eat it. Plus the fish guy that fished it out the tank was intent on choosing the one I had no desire to get.
They have a lot of good choices for your Asian, Korean, and Chinese cooking. I always go to this store for my Korean meals.
Very disappointed.. the staff and management is worst. They better learn how to give good customer service. And also the place is smell so bad.
Great store! My asian friends told me about Hiep Thai years ago, and Ive been shopping since.
I love to go here. The food is good and fresh! However, they need to check on their noodles products because some of them already expired!
Highly recommended dont buy this RICE( Golden sea horse premium jasmine rice)from Hiep Thai, gao thom thuong hang but it is smelling like the rice long time ago,the cheap rice is better then this.expensive also, almost $50 .the Shrimp is ok,the rest is expensive.the market is dirty and smell.they sell the products with expired date .i wish i can do 0 star.
Great experience. Love the variety and the Bistro is amazing. I will go back many times. Very user friendly for English speaking guests.
I only go here when Im desperate. Theres a repulsive dirty smell with flies landing on everything.
Bought a 28 pound crawfish in the bag it was mix with a Very small crawfish left over sell Never go back there again
Business is always pack like always & great quality of Asian Shopping needs
This is our go to spot for most Asian products. Thats if we arent looking to drive across town to either H-Mart or 99 Ranch. Good variety of fresh fruits, canned food, sauces, seafood, and meat. It needs updates, but still a good place to shop. Hence the reason I gave it only 4 stars.
Great place to find asian stuff.
I really like all the variety of fresh fish and other sea dwellers
Great place to shop.
Grew up going to this store...still love it
Just an Asian store you can get everything you needed.
Horrible customer service from the manager Sonny.Shop at troung Nguyen or h mart.
Nice Asian grocery store...
Line are fast even when (sometimes) crowded. Friendly service.
Great place to get Asian foods, especially japan foods, they carry other things like utensils and other household stuff, best thing is to go check it out for yourself, there many things you might like.
SIMPLY because you have you and
Great source of other cultures things I need and like
Very nice Vietnamese grocery store with great selection !!!! Love the live seafood available!
If you are looking fresh sea.This marked its the placeFresh 🐟 🦐 🦀 🦪 🦑 🐙
Not very clean, and the fish I bought was rotten
Very good selection of seafood, Asian food and condiments IMO.!
Great Selection, fresh, Seafood, and exotic ingredients
I got everything I needed, got a pack of shredded bell peppers, for $1. I couldnt believe my luck. And the Norwegian mackerels that I bought, were heavenly delicious.
Do not buy the coconuts here. They’re advertised as “Fresh Young Coconuts”, but when I opened it, the water was completely brown and expired.
Good price and collection of fresh/ seasonal food. The isles are quite narrow and small makes it hard to push the cart around.
Best place to go if you are looking for fresh seafood, exotic fruits and vegetables, imported beer and soft drinks or a special grain of rice.
Good selection and close than the Asian markets in Carrollton. There is good variety and prices are comparable.
I was very impressed with the different products they have was my first time to shop I will come back again.
Please sell back the Maggie Kari noodle and Maggie Asam laksa noodle 😭
Spoiled chicken hearts, as soon as we opened the container the kitchen stung. We’ve gotten products from here that were old and had to return them but with difficulty. Keep giving them more chances but we are done this time.
I MEAN I LOVEEE THE FRUIT
Good quality sea food, but terrible customer service. Drove from Uptown Dallas to get seafood and seafood rep. were non responsive about availability of the products.
Great selection, unique items, fun exotic candies and cookies. A WIDE variety of fresh produce from around the world. I would give 5 stars but fish smell is pretty strong, but other than that great place.
I love their noodles
Great selection, ok price, not so good customer service.
I go here for exotic fruits and fish. It could use a deep cleaning as there is always a funky odor wafting in the entire store and outer breezeway. They have great deals but you have to search them out.
Buddha worship alta should be at private residence, not at supermarket.
No complementary ice given to customers. Whats a point of buying grocery here when other Asian stores around Garland provide free ice to customers? TX is known for extreme heat and if customers spends their money here for meat then they should provide FREE ice to customers. Rather spend our time and money eslwhere that value customers’ opinion... This place doesnt appreciate/respect customers’ opinion!!! There were few complaints about providing complementary ice to customers but they dont seems to care about it.
The largest Asian grocery store that Ive found around here. Great selection of products and awesome produce!
Little limited on varieties, but veggies are very fresh.
Good selection of fresh fish and they will clean it for you too. That’s the good part. But, the guys behind the fish counter could learn some customer service skills. Hello and Thankyou would be nice.
Good knifes and fish nothing wrong and nice cashiers
Excellent prices on many items and very friendly staff
Good grocery store, decent seafood and fruits, vegetables are ok
Bad service 👎
Smell so bad
A great source for that unusual spice you need for a particular recipe or if you are looking to try something different. Give your nose some new experiences and your tongue some new tastes. You wont regret it.
This is a great place to shop for fresh produce. The staff is very helpful. The cashiers especially #2 are quick and professional.
My family moved from cali to east texas and have been dying for a good asian market till we found this one. They got everything you could need to keep an asian house hold happy.
Good selection of items. First time I went their machines went down and they didnt tell me until I was at the register. Wasted 30 minutes gathering groceries. Went again and checked out no problem, but the customer service could be improved.
Great selection of sauces and noodles authentic so expect a fish smell
I love this place, varieties of things to choose from.
Personally I dont like Hiep Thai food store, smells bad when you get in, for the meat is okay, but the rest is not, more expensive than others Asian food store
All the Ramen youll need also the Catfish fillets are HUGE. And yes its catfish not the other stuff
AMAZING seasonal produce and great prices! Can find lots of vegan items here.Smells like dead fish, but once you get past that, your shopping experience is a great one.
Good Seadfood but it smells bad. The store has amazing products and good service.
The bad smell is petty overwhelming and selection not great. Prefer to drive to h mart or something
Older style, kind of smelly Asian grocery store. Decent prices and decent selection for store size. Wish it felt cleaner, so I tend to go here just for a few items. When I have a full list I go further north to a more modern, cleaner Asian grocery store.
Lots of fresh fish and seafood varieties
They have everything I need.
Great thai grocery!
Best selection of fruits and vegetables in dallas, especially hard to find and exotics. Fresh squeezed daily orange juice is excellent, about the same price as Central Market but the juice is so sweet, more similar to what I used to get directly from the orange groves in Florida. The only store in Dallas that Ive found sapote, a South American fruit that tastes like creme brulle, and passion fruit at half or less other stores. The seafood selection is very fresh, great prices, huge selection. You can find every variety of seafood, and the clams are kept in tanks where the water rises and falls to mimick natural tides. This allows the clams to not only thrive but rids the clams of all sand and grit. Much better than clams kept on ice in other stores. You not only taste the difference, you can see the difference when you cook the clams. The price is also less than most stores. The meat market cuts meat daily and offers a wide selection. A great place for hard to find cuts, like beef shin when Im making Hungarian goulash. A beef tenderloin roast, chateaubrian, or filet mignon is less than half the price of most other grocery store, and the quality has always been just as good. If you are buying the full tenderloin you will pay half the price of other stores and its already been trimmed of all the fat.
This is where I do all of my grocery shopping! My go to place for fresh fish and fruit.
The Vietnamese Supermarket have Tropical fruit, Asia Grocery, fresh meats, fish that you can trust for every day cooking.
On hold for 20 minutes LMAO. Then I hung up and called back. It was the same lady. I said “Did you find them”. She said oh yeah but they won’t work for you it’s for dim sum”. I wonder how long she knew and kept me on hold. Anyways I can’t find a store in Dallas that has wooden steamers so I can make barbecue pork steamed buns.
One of the cleaner vietnamese grocery store Ive been to. Good selection & prices. Fresh produce (most of the time). Ive been to other vietnamese store in the area, but always come back to this one.
Lots of fresh herbs, fruits, vegetables, and seafood you cant find at your larger chain stores.
