Favorite Garden City treasure. Bulk spices, candy. A cake /cupcake decorators heaven (ingredients, toppings, tools, colors). I come here for every birthday cake I bake and in between for homework treats.

Great Candy shop, lots of choices from Candy to peanuts. Can even get your candy in the color you like. Prices are not ridiculously expensive like some bulk candy shops are. Great spot for the kids too..Also very clean, require gloves to remove candy.

Ive been coming here for years but my most recent experience has turned me away for good. I got a fudge bar that was MOLDED and TWO MONTHS past the expiration date. The other candy that we got was stale and not flavorful.

I like to get candy and other items at Bulk Food of Garden City on Middlebelt Road because it is easy to get to. During busy times on Middlebelt it can be a little difficult if you are heading south but there is an entry further north in the shopping plaza that you can use that makes it better.The store is unique as there are ‘robots’ displayed around the room above the food displays. They are easy to miss if you don’t look up! I believe the robots would sell very well also but they don’t seem to be for sale. I have never seen anything like them anywhere else.This location is great for packaged and bulk candy but I am reluctant with the powdered items. The powdered items are separated in two groups but I don’t know why they were split up. In any case the same situation applies to the cereals. They appear to be of good quality but the manner in which they are stored gives me question.The place is well lit and the staff is friendly. The floors could use a sweeping, mop and polish!Great place for savings and quality candy and some baking needs.

Friendly hands on service and a very wide selection of products. The low price of a big corporation with the care of a family owned establishment. A lot of older candys I haven’t seen since I was little.

Any candy you could think of they most likely have. The selection is amazing and the prices are fair. They also carry spices and herbs. There staff was polite amd helpful.

Went looking for penny candy for work and found an amazing array of choices! I found Mary Janes, salt-water taffy, Slo-poke chews, Tootsie roll chews, caramels, etc. Very reasonably priced and FRESH! Store is a little cramped but I was there on a Saturday so expected the process of walking around and finding my choices to be a little slower. Clerk was friendly, professional and efficient - will definitely be back!

This place is well stocked and I love them. For less than 3 or 4 spices from Kroger, I got 13 in better than monthly quantity, plus I know they are fresh. Go there, highly recommended.

Primarily they sell candy and spices, but they also have a pretty large selection of teas, lorann flavors and oils, and all sorts of things needed for baking or candy making.

If they dont have it, no one does. Candy, spices & more - your old-time favorites are there, too.

Still nice to be able to buy bulk bin foodI the amount you need still cool place but had lost some of its pros since new owners took over.use to have a lot of things they got rid of....mistake because the stuff they got rid of was things you couldnt get other places why be family and friends i know went there. Use to have the old Timey candy...got rid of a lot of it.and no longer have the diet mix nuts.

Feb 2017 this place is open! I can bring my own containers for buy bulk and they have beans, flours, spices, rices, seeds, nuts, dry fruits, sweeteners, bakery decoration in bins. I didnt see tea or coffee so im not sure about those, no liquids bulk buy, cleaning supplies or dry pasta. I got 3 different items and they are all fresh. Whoever tries to make this place show up as closed is a d*ck.

Love this store but honestly after new ownership took over a few years ago, the store has gone down hill....its not as clean and the food doesnt always stay fresh like the last owner kept it.
