Charged us over a hundred dollars for nothing. Told us that we needed a new compressor for my ac. But the place where you plug it in to check it hadnt even been touched when we Got the van back we did a few things and now I have ac. They just want money.

It is now owned by the Venturas. Who I have known for years and think very highly of them. They run a great business.

I was on vacation and the starter went out on the truck the friday before memorial day weekend. We were on the way home. They got the truck in and did the work reasonably and we did not have to stay extra time. They are friendly and professional. They were a godsend. Gracias por todo!

Wouldnt even give me a ballpark quote over the phone, broke down 2 blocks away ON THE WAY TO THEM. Ladies...I ROCK a 4x4, I can fix alot on my own, on the go, but I was given NO respect, dont know if its b/c of T&A or just bad customer service? I recommend U call Delgados on 43rd.

We have raved about these guys. They did an excellent job installing lights on our vehicle.We have been here a few different times. This last time wasnt as good as it had been with them. Brought vehicle on Thursday evening to be ready for Friday morning running special lights. I called them on Monday afternoon said vehicle was ready. They didnt run the lights (afraid it would harm alt) but told me I had a rack and pinion issue. At my request to take a look at a leak.

I know many of you are wondering about this location since Sonny retired and sold the business. I hate leaving the island to get my vehicle serviced so I decided to give them a try AND I am extremely happy! The same mechanics are there, so if you liked their work in the past, they will still be taking care of you! I found Grant to be very honest and excellent in communicating everything that will be done and the cost and the time. I am sure you will find that the change doesnt mean you have to go off island to get your vehicle maintenance and repairs.

This is such a wonderful friendly business. The employees are very knowledgeable in their field. They go out of their way to help you with your car needs. Very reasonable with their prices. I would recommend them to everyone.

The guys here were great. I had to drop my car off because I had car trouble on my way to the hospital. They were able to get it back to me the next day. The price was also good as it compared favorably with what others had paid on line. The guys here seem to do good work, charge a fair price, and run an all around good business.

What can I say about Sonny and the folks to do them justice.I took my truck to them after busting a air bag on one of many potholes in Houston. I was able to drop off my truck and they called me the following day with the diagnosis.The company who had installed them had installed the incorrectly. Galveston B& E worked with the company out of Ohio (the installer) to resolve the issue and get my truck back to me. It took over a week to get the airbags in do to the fact they had to come from Firestone and were installed by the other company.They kept my truck secure and safe in the building while they waited. Once the bags arrived I had my truck back in a day. For someone from out of town and in a tough spot they cared for me as is I was a regular customer.Did I mention the cost? Even though it was covered by warrantee from the other garage I was more than surprised by the labor bill and gladly paid it up front for the work and service they did.Thank You Sonny for the OUTSTANDING customer service and knowledge of my equipment. Now I can travel again.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I thought I was coming in for a simple diagnosis bc my engine check up light was on and I needed it to fix the problem for my yearly inspection. Grant, the guy that talked to me, called me to tell me that it would cost me over $500 for what I thought would be an easy fix ($330 for a broken fuel neck and then some for labor costs). He was telling me (lying) that I had to wait a couple of weeks to fix my fuel neck which he insisted was cracked and causing the engine light to turn on. He also insisted that he had contacted all the dealerships in the Houston area to see if they had the part and said that this part needed to be shipped in elsewhere which explained the high cost. One simple internet search later and I see that the part is worth less than $70 and so I have a good feeling Im dealing with someone trying to rip me off. I call him back and let him know that so he squirms to explain how these parts are better than the ones online and then has the audacity that he wouldnt mind fixing my car with that part if I bring it to him. On top of that, the labor charge is around $100.. This type of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Take your business elsewhere people!Was able to go back home and get my car fixed up for a much more reasonable price. First and last time Im dealing with mechanics here.

Every single time I have brought my or my wifes vehicle here, they fixed whatever the problem was and never once tried to overcharge or overfix a thing. This places has always treated me with complete respect and this is the only place that I trust my wife will be able to drop off a vehicle and be treated with the utmost respect on the island. I am happy to have found this mechanic.

Guys here have no clue what they are talking about they try and use BIG words to confuse you. I am very mechanically inclined and know for a fact that they are making up words as they go. When you question their pricing they get all defensive as if they dont by from the Internet them selves and just mark up the prices 5x what they get it for. Definitely steer clear of these guys they are very rude and seem to want to get into a fight for no reason. Plenty of other mechanics on the island that I have used and are knowledgeable and actually nice to you.

I knew this was the right shop when I saw the modded Jeep sitting out front. They provided excellent service, were very knowledgeable and were within my budget.This is my 8th jeep and their recommendations were spot on !!!

So normally we take our vehicles for maintenance here. Today i went for an oil change and it was a horribke experience. They suppose to open at 8am they didnt open until 20 minutes after. It took them 5 1/2hrs to do one oil change. They didnt apologize for the inconvenience or anything. Unfortunately we will not be bringing our vehicles back to them. The guy Ray stated that he didnt care because it doesnt affect him. But then he proceed to say well this is whats going on. They were 2 people short and they had to go out to help do things. After all of this they still didnt apologize. Communication and professionalism goes a long way. I hope nobody gets the rude service that we had today. The onky giid thing that cane from this is the young man who drove the car back up front. He was very polite and understanding and he also apologized for the inconvenience.

I have a 2003 Corolla that stopped running abruptly. My husband, a former ASE certified mechanic, tried a few things to get it running (replaced fuel pump, ignition, battery and cables). Nothing worked. I called Chris @GBE, told him what we had done and asked if they could take a look at it. He said Sure. I had it towed in. At first I was told it would be a few days before they could look it it. A few days grew into 2 weeks. Then 2.5 weeks, Chris called & said the manager said they couldnt do anything, because someone had already started working on it, before they got it.I called the manager who said he didnt know that Chris knew the condition of the car before it was towed in.The ONLY reason they got 2 stars, us because they helped my husband load the car onto the tow dolly, when he went to pick it up.I would not ever recommend this garage.

Very rude people at the customer service desk. The older guy with grey hair was very snappy and rude when I went to get my car inspected. I would recommend going to the Exxon that is about 2 blocks away from them. Fast and friendly unlike this slow place that is rude and slow. They even had several cars backed up and only one guy working at GBE.

Fixed my car super fast, price was what was quoted, and the staff were honest and helpful. I would defiantly use them again.
