I like the convenience of scheduling an appointment online. I appreciate the included car wash. I especially like that when the technicians find an issue, instead of coming out to the waiting area to discuss the issue in front of everyone, I receive a text informing me of certain areas that need attention and then allowing me the option to either decline or have the work completed through that text. Brilliant idea!!
Tyler was Great! Treated me like a real person and showed that he was in it for what was best for me as I was trying to find a vehicle for work. Heather, the financial also did her part in making sure I had the best possible deal for paying on it. Thank you both so much for taking good care of me. Had a bad battery. Honda battery, 32months old at the time. 100 month warranty written on the battery. Was told because I didn’t have a receipt of purchasing the battery myself (it was in the car when I bought it used), the battery is only covered based on the mileage of the vehicle. I was past the mileage limit, so no luck. This left a bad taste in my mouth, so I’m leaving this negative review.Also, I later found Honda’s replacement battery warranty online, and there is no mention of mileage or requiring a receipt. (My vehicle is a 2016, so I know this was a replacement battery.)
My experience buying my new Ridgeline was definitely one of the very best! I have purchased many cars over the years and must say Russell and all the folks at Gallatin made this a pleasure. I highly recommend them! Great people and great store!
I have a 1995 Del Sol that died while driving, and will not turn over when I try to start it. I was willing to pay the diagnostic fee to find out what was wrong. I was told that the main relay was out, and that it would be a $240 dollar repair (the main relay costs around 35-55 bucks, and takes 15 minutes to switch out, but okay). I was told today that the vehicle still isnt working, and that they want another 260 plus tax to do a diagnostic... again. This is beyond what Im willing to spend. I told the technician via text that I will settle my current bill, and have the vehicle towed back home. When I called to settle my bill, I was directed to the technicians phone, who did not answer. In trying to settle my bill online, I was placed in a live chat with a bot that wanted to direct me to the department I had JUST called.Yes, I understand that there will be mark up on labor and parts, thats how dealerships and mechanics make their money. I dont appreciate the feeling that Im being milked for more money, nor do I appreciate the hoops Im having to go through to settle my bill and get my vehicle home.-Addendum I was able to get hold of the technician about 5 minutes after posting this review, and he is in the process of texting me a link to pay my bill.
I have taken my 2015 Honda Odyssey here for service 3 times now (the dealership is close to a family member that I go and visit while they are servicing the van). The dealership is very clean and well maintained. The team member I check in with always calls me to make sure I know if they have found anything when doing the all points inspection as well as to let me know when the vehicle will be ready. I will continue to bring my vehicle here for servicing.
Took my Honda in for a file pump recall and the service was great! Austin was my service person and was wonderful to work with in setting up my appointment and securing me a loner car so I could get to work. I will definitely work with the again.
In late June 2021, I inquired about a 2021 Honda Insight, which had a sticker price of $26,610.00. I requested an itemized out-the-door quote, which REED denied my request, and stated quotes are reserved for “actual” customers. I was confounded, as I was unsure how he arrived at the conclusion that I did not qualify as an actual customer, despite negating to inquire about my education or income. This statement further proved he was condescending and discriminatory, as prior to buying any car, consumers typically are provided a quote from reputable dealerships. I planned to purchase the day of visit, however REED obviously believed that I was incapable of making this purchase and didn’t want my business. Shockingly, REED provided a handwritten quote of $30,472.00 below, providing no explanation of what this total comprised. REED attempted to insult my intelligence. As a woman of color, I am skeptical of REED’s morals and values. Moreover, the salesperson, whom exemplified great customer service, found his behavior reprehensible as well. REED denied my request of speaking to him directly to gain further clarification, and communication was funneled through salesperson. In final, I purchased a brand new vehicle from a competitor’s dealership, whom treated me with respect, courtesy, and transparency.Update: Unfortunately, I cannot exercise the option to contact the respondent, as no contact information was provided, ironically. I greatly appreciate your response!
From start to finish this Dealership was perfect! We were buying out our lease and Heather was beyond amazing in Finance. Was able to make an appointment right away for a power brake system failure on my 2019 Honda Accord they did all the proper testing diagnose the problem fix the problem and I was in and out in four hours very happy. We went in to the dealer to look at a Honda Pilot. A friend of ours had suggested working with Richard. Richard was simply incredible to work with. It was honestly the best car buying experience I have ever had. Richard is extremely laid back and at no point during our process did we ever feel pressured to make a decision. He answered all of our questions, was thorough in explaining all the details of our new vehicle. He listened to everything we said we needed to get the perfect vehicle for us. I can’t recommend Richard and Gallatin Honda enough for a great buying experience.

Services were completed on time and follow up was good. I wasn’t presented with an overwhelming list of add-ons that “had to be done” now. The additional items I was presented with were reasonable and actually expected. There was no pressure to do any additional work, but I felt like a thorough vehicle inspection had been completed to my satisfaction. I would recommend Rodney and the maintenance department at Gallatin Honda.

I did have to come back the next day because my Toyota parts weren’t in stock. Due to the chip shortage, today wasnt the best time to be purchasing a car. If I could have waited, I would have. However, my experience at Gallatin Honda was as good as it gets. I am a loyal Honda customer. All of my cars have been purchased elsewhere. After this, I will never go anywhere else. The process was simple, straight forward and I feel I got the best deal possible. The entire experience was a positive one. The sales associate was knowledgeable and the finance person was great to work with. I was not pressured to upgrade or add anything I did not want. Had all new tires installed on our van, oil change and several other points of preventative maintenance performed. Though communication was a bit wonky throughout, which resulted in a slightly longer wait and having to re-do something, these folks took care of it! Im thrilled to have a well-maintained vehicle. Price was fair, work looks as though it was done with care and it drives just perfect. Well return for the next maintenance trip; just maybe try to keep things clearer then. Thanks!

I have not bought a car in 10 years and this was a fantastic experience. I was only going to start looking, but after the top shelf customer service and knowledge of the product I decided to buy. Richard Rocha was my sales representative and he was so knowledgeable. During my test drive he was telling me all that I could expect to experience and feel as I was driving. I was impressed…especially since he was sitting in the back. He answered all of my questions and explained the tech of the car as well. Justin Johnson the manager was top of the line. He was very knowledgeable about the process and helped walk me though it. I would recommend shopping g at the Gallatin Ho da location to anyone!
I had a very good experience buying my new 2022 Odyssey at Gallatin Honda. Justin did a great job at helping me track and get my van in the trim and color combination we were looking for. The purchasing process was mostly online. Very transparent, upfront price with no surprises. I honestly don’t like to spend a lot of time at dealerships going through stuff, I like it to go quick, honest and easy and this is exactly how it went with Justin and his team, so very pleased with that and definitely recommend this Honda dealership.
Bought a car here. Good experience. Bought the service plan. Bad experience. Wait in the customer lounge for 3 hours for scheduled maintenance. Receive a phone call asking me where my car is at. Freak out a little. Explain that they had already taken my car back. They find my car. They blame the check in instructions. They blame having 5 advisors working? They blame me for using the self checkin feature that no one uses. They offer no apologies.....until I say something to the effect of come on man cant you fess up that you messed up? Service advisor didnt care. Service manager didnt care. Maybe you will. You make money and build loyalty in service, not so much the sale. Fix it.
Oh my goodness!!! These people were beyond wonderful. I was traveling and had trouble miles from them. They gave me an appointment and waited, on a Saturday, for me to get there. They cared for my car and charged me nothing. They treated me like a beloved grandmother which I am to my family. They also thank Gallatin Honda!!!!

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change. Arrived on time with one car behind me. The first service rep out went to the car behind me. After an hour I went to see what the holdup was.The service rep was very nice but frustrate with the process also. Everything else was fine but the reason I made an appointment was to reduce the wait time.

We had no plans of buying new cars, but my wife and I, and my MIL had issues with another local dealership for another car brand, that left a horrible taste in our mouths.We stopped by the dealership to see what they had on the lot and we’re greeted by Brandon, who was awesome! He was able to get us where we wanted to be on the deal and was not pushy in the least! Reid came over to introduce himself and talk to us and we were very impressed with his personality and how he ran the dealership and the people he hired! Heather in Finance was awesome too! She was able to get us where we needed to be and when the numbers didn’t come back with what we agreed on, she went above and beyond to get us where we needed to be!All around, from top to bottom, Gallatin Honda is an awesome place and a great addition to the Gallatin community! Not satisfied with how this place does business at all. Spent a couple hours here going over numbers about trying to purchase a vehicle. Told them on multiple occasions Id come back on Monday (the next following) to finalize the deal since they arent open on Sunday. Received a text about 2 hours later saying they sold the vehicle to someone else. Just dont appreciate the way business is handled here.I signed a piece paper, AND was not notified about any hold requirements whatsoever. Seeing that I never even spoke to the sales manager. Thanks for reaching out, but I would not like to conduct any more business here.

Justin Williams was a non-aggressive,friendly and very knowledgeable sales representative who guided me through my first New car ownership purchase. He took the time to introduce me to the staff and go over all the features of my new vehicle; including calming my anxiety by leaving me information on how to keep in touch after I leave the dealership if theres a concern/problem. I have no problem recommending this establishment for 1st time car buyers.

I have always had the best experience and customer service until last week. I don’t know what’s happened to the service department but everyone there is clueless and very unhelpful. There is a severe lack of communication. They made me feel stupid for asking the questions I had. And every time I called the had my information wrong. This whole experience has left me feeling frustrated and defeated.

Rodney was very helpful and friendly. Hes got me in and out in just a few minutes.However, I had tried calling the day before and was sent to some call center off location. I could not understand anything the person said to me. I had wanted to schedule more service but could not. I asked for someone to call that I could understand but I never received a call. May rethink a new purchase if phones arent answered by the service department at the dealership. Thats very poor customer service.
Easy to set up appointment, easy drop off and pick-up, vehicle mechanical issues resolved 1st time!Only negative is that 2 VERY SMALL cosmetic exterior pieces were quoted at > $500 to replace.
Purchased a car yesterday and had a great experience. Everyone in service department was very friendly. I worked with Carley in sales and she was fun to work with! This was the first time Ive purchased a car alone and she made process very easy. Ive had other experiences with car salesman at different Honda locations that were not pleasant. Would highly recommend this location for getting your Honda serviced or buying a new car!
Communication while Honda had my car yesterday was poor. They text you that you can work with them throughout the day but no one responded to any messaging and it took 15 minutes to get someone on the phone for vehicle diagnosis. Previous experiences at Gallatin Honda were much better. (The shuttle driver though was great! )
I had my car serviced here for the first time and had a great experience. The staff is friendly and explained everything thoroughly, even to the point of including photos to support their suggested additional work, which I was able to approve first. I will definitely be going back there for future service needs.
The work that was done seems to be fine, but it took longer than they had said it would. Also, I had to reschedule the appointment for the next week after arriving because they had failed to tell me information necessary for the appointment, and this is not the only instance where they have tried to cancel and reschedule after I was already there.

I requested that brake fluid be flushed and air filter be replaced. The car had been left overnight after inspection completed and other services declined. When I called several times the next day was finally told it would be 5 pm before car would be ready. I felt this was an extremely long time for these 2 services to be done especially since the car had been there since the previous night.I commented that I was looking for a new vehicle but this experience had not left a good impression. Response, yes mame I understand.
Called to get my car battery replaced in a pinch and Bubba took great care of me in the service department. I definitely trust them to get my car back on the road.
I arrived early to my appointment for an oil change only to learn the power had been out and they were running late. Not to worry, Bubba made sure that I settled in the waiting area with coffee. After the oil change, tire rotation and wash job was finished, he went over the work done and explained the inspection report. Job well done.
I called to schedule service at 9:00a, problem found and resolved by 12:00p. Clean facility, efficient service, great communication the entire time. Have no intention to go anywhere else next time.

The dealership ran my car through a courtesy wash without asking prior, when I had come in for an oil change. The car wash damaged my paint job leaving micro scratches all over the sides of my car, as well as long swirl marks. I never use bristle car washes for this very reason and would’ve definitely declined if asked. The wash didn’t even properly clean the car on top of the damage it caused.

I had a very friendly service representative who helped with the service process. Never have bought tires from a dealership before but warranty was great and price reasonable. Plus the coupons made it even better. I’ve had my cars serviced here for the past year and have been satisfied with them.
OMG let me tell you how awesome this dealership is. After making a phone call the salesman told me the exact price of the car over the phone. I drove 2 1/2 hours and 165 miles to get there on 8/20/2021 and what they said they had was there, price was exact, no shady or hidden fees, no bogus markups, nothing, and 30 minutes later I was driving off in a brand new 2021 Honda CR-V. You heard that right, 30 minutes from arriving to driving off. I believe I met everyone in the building except service and everyone from salesman to finance to management was over the top friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Im 50 and this is probably the 20th new car Ive bought in my life and this is by far the most outstanding car buying experience Ive ever had. Will definitely be my first choice for the next vehicle in the family. A+++++++

The people at Gallatin Honda were great! Anthony was very helpful and quick with messages before visiting. I showed up to test drive and look at a truck and immediately fell in love with it. Which made it that much more exciting getting to leave with it that day. Anthony and Heather made the process easy and simple! Our family will definitely be back to purchase future vehicles.
We have a 2017 Honda Pilot. This car is now in the shop every month (approx. $700/month in system/electrical repairs. Every time we take it in, something new is wrong and then ANOTHER $700-$800 to fix it. The latest is one automatic window that won’t roll down and just the labor to diagnose the issue would be like $500. That doesn’t even include the cost to fix. When they called, they didn’t even address the fact that the alarm now won’t set or the ignition error, both of which began immediately following their last fix (3 weeks ago). My recommendation I guess at this point is to 1. Don’t buy a Honda Pilot (we’ve loved ours until year 4. Or 2. Don’t use this dealership for fixes.
My experience was HORRIBLE!They had my car for over 2 months with EVERY excuse known to man as to why it was taking so long. THEN to top it off they broke my dash and I had to pay for it.Everybody that I talked to went around in circles with their story. Including the General Manager.Terrible experience. $3000 later.... just to fix my ac.They are liars.I can say one good thing though, Austin in the service department is great.
Things were really great, until they werent and we are honestly so disappointed. The sales man we worked with was fantastic, however, we ran into some serious issues.We were in the process of buying a 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L (VIN: 5FNRL5H64CB093745 ) from this dealer, contingent on it being inspected by our personal mechanic and any issues being fixed. Thank God we did. Our mechanic found the oil pan gasket to be leaking, a leak from the transmission case, and the timing belt in need of replacement. The oil was just changed by the dealership, but the oil pan gasket leak was so significant that after a 30 minute drive, the oil level was low. The dealership told us the transmission case leak could only be remedied by a new transmission, but they could not justify replacement at this time. Reed, the GM, said they were willing to pay our mechanic to repair everything but the transmission, and that would cost $3,000+ for parts alone. They wanted to assure us peace of mind, but unfortunately a transmission in need of replacement was an absolute deal breaker.
The members were extremely nice and informative in the services I was receiving g. They made sure that I was aware of everything that was going on and accommodated me the best they could. I would most definitely recommend.
Came in to Gallatin Honda service center for a bizarre issue with my car that required them to have to order a new part. Though it took a few days for the part to arrive, they kept me updated throughout the process and did a great job repairing a complex issue.
The team was able to get me in at the end of the day and fix my problem quickly. They also threw in a 10% military discount. I’ll be back!

Took my 98’ Prelude in with a bad ignition lock cylinder. With it being old and high miles I was afraid I was going to be pestered to buy something new. Didn’t happen at all in fact they were more excited to see a Prelude than anything else. Austin helped me out through the whole process and kept me informed. Got the car back good to go with new genuine Honda keys and the red programming key (super rare these days). Awesome place and awesome people.

While Ive had excellent experience with Gallatin Honda in the past, my previous trip was rather disappointing. They told me my car died and had to be jumped 2ce while it was being serviced. I found this odd as Ive never had battery issues but its been a few years since purchasing and batteries dont last forever. They quoted me $285 for just an oil change and new battery. I declined the battery and immediately went to auto zone. Autozone tested my battery and said it looked great and no replacement was needed. I also got a second opinion from another car place that said the same. I dont know if the Honda serviceman were having a bad day or if they were simply trying to squeeze some extra cash out of what they believed to be an easy target. I will be looking for other options in the future when my car needs service.

I took my 2016 Honda to Gallatin Honda April 19. Grace was the Service Advisor. Grace always does a great job. Eric was the mechanic and found a problem. We were able to get the service done and the problem fixed. Thanks to Grace and Eric I had a a great visit to Gallatin Honda. These employees made a very pleasant service visit.
The employees here have always treated me well. Randy is usually the guy I see, but they are all great. I don’t feel pressured to get things I don’t need or don’t have the money for. I would recommend.

Carried my CRV for airbag recall. Upon picking up in lot, I noticed grease on floor mat, fabric both front seats, and door panel. Pulled back in and service writer David said they would clean. I opted not to wait and clean myself. Upon arriving home I seen three scratches through dash color where airbag was replaced. Contacted David and was told to bring car back. I opted not to as I feel I cannot trust their service department after this experience.

Scheduled service through the website which was quick and easy. Greeted upon arrival by Bubba who discussed service options and returned the car in no time and had it washed. Place is quite clean and service was orderly. Will definitely be back for future service on our car.

I left my vehicle for an oil change and a recall pertaining to a fuel pump on 2019 Honda Ridgeline. I was told the recall couldn’t be done because I had almost a full tank of gas. You’d think Gallatin Honda and or any Honda service shop would have a transfer pump and fuel storage tank to perform such tasks. Regular mechanic shops have equipment to pump out fuel tanks on and means of storing the fuel from a vehicle.
I contacted Gallatin Honda regarding a problem with my passenger side sun visor. I asked for a warranty repair since the truck is still covered by the warranty. They ordered the part and installed it when it came into the dealership a few days later. Everyone I talked to was very friendly and their facility is very nice. The customer waiting area is large and has several sitting areas with different TV channels playing and one with no TV playing. There is complimentary water, coffee, and a few snacks plus vending machines.
