We came here from where we live in Vegas in order to consolidate all of our belongings from the storage.Kat was very nice and professional. She was able to confirm my moms identity and help us find and access our storage unit despite it having been a long time since we were last here. Remember the theme song to the television show Cheers - Where Everybody Knows Your Name?  Mask or no mask Im warmly greeted by the staff each and every time I step foot into this location.  No joke!  Its great!  A small thing perhaps, but is much appreciated.I routinely get deliveries made for work here, which works wonderfully for me!  Far less time spent waiting in line to pick up packages at one of the shippers local storefronts.Facility is kept looking great too!  Ive used storage space offered from other companies, and its always pleasant when I pull in not having to worry about unkempt grounds or unmaintained asphalt.But let me wrap this up, because I can go on and on with the accolades, by saying thank you to Kat and the rest of the team here!  Thank you very much!

The property has a RAT infestation that management didn’t disclose to us until AFTER I paid and moved in. I paid for one month & had additional protection insurance. When I came to move out & remove our items from storage there was a dead rat at the gate of our unit and droppings everywhere. I ended up throwing some of our things away. The entire experience was horrible. When on property and talking to them about it they did nothing and replied “file a complaint if anything is damaged” poor service, poor property and poor accommodations. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!They also claimed the units are treated but that is UNTRUE! the employees at the facility documented and took photos to validate my claims.

Great experience! Rented for just over a year and they were great during these times of Covid. They follow protocols and the area is kept clean. I had an issue where my storage unit was difficult to open. They immediately went to work on fixing it! They have to replace the latch and we’re incredibly friendly the whole time. Highly recommend

***BEST STORAGE PLACE IN THE DMV!!!***I had 2 ladies from 2 different locations help me out today. First, Lety helped me locate the type of unit I needed. Although there wasn’t one at her location, she was more then willing to check out other stores in the area to see if they had the unit I needed. She was very informative and upfront about everything and did an excellent job mediating an argument that was going on outside of the store!When I arrived at the location that had my unit, Kat was outside as soon as I pulled up ready to help me get in, even putting in my code for me to ensure it worked. Not only did she guide me to my unit but she also gave me and my family bottles of water and even my dog a bowl for water and said if we needed anything just holler!I’ve been renting units off and on for years and this would be the first time I ever thought anyone working at a storage unit deserved 5 stars and a good review!Lety and Kat, thank you again and keep up the hard work!

Finally made the move recently wasnt able to fit as much of my furniture as I thought I would be able to. So I had to move to a larger unit, which wasnt an issue at all. I came into the store on behalf of my mother-in-law to help resolve a small issue/over site with the closing out of a storage unit.. the problem was all based on miscommunication amongst family members. While addressing the issue with Kat, she was not only incredibly professional and understanding of our error, but also worked with us to resolve the issue without further complication. Not only did she provide excellent service, but she made a difficult storage need manageable. Our boxes in storage had worn over time and she helped find the right replacements for the size of the items in our unit.

This Storage Facility is run very properly. It is always very clean. I went in today to speak to them about my Payment for my Unit and both Kat and Farid were very awesome! I highly recommend using them if youre in need of a unit.

Friendly staff, reasonable rates. My storage was not climate controlled, but stayed above freezing in the winter and wasn’t boiling in the summer. Access hours were super convenient. Customer service was easy to reach and responsive. We moved to another extra space location closer to our new home and would recommend this location or use it again ourselves if we change locations again.

I’m moving from Rockville to VA, after talking and visiting several storage facility I decided to go with Extra Space storage in Gaithersburg Maryland, Kat O’Hare was outstanding,She was very knowledgeable and made me feel like she really care for my needs.I will highly recommend this storage facility to do business with.

Just moved back from TX. As it is I moved during moving season so finding a storage to fit everything and what I wanted was a drive up so yeah hard right! It’s was until Fanny was most helpful. Came in on a Tuesday thought I was out of luck but ran into Danny on the way out and he said that maybe tomorrow something would free up to give him a call. Of course I went to another place hat was hell of expensive and was not exactly what I was looking for. So thinking I was up the creek without a paddle I gave Danny a call like he asked. Luckily he was right and he had a drive up storage free up just for me. Thanks a lot and just to top it off he gave me a little something to make the moving in a little easier financially thanks a lot.

While I was on a long trip to Maryland, USA, I bought a boatload of collectibles and stored them at Extra Space Storage till my trip was over. I was really impressed with their level of customer service. Kat, Farid, Ricardo and the crew treated me like family. Farid was like a big brother helping me with whatever I needed. Ricardo babysat my stuff when it got stuck on the elevator (my fault- Follow the signs- “Don’t prop elevator door open”). When I lost the key to my lock, Kat transformed into Xena Warrior Princess and fired up her blow torch thingie with sparks flying and blasted the lock open. Wow! Kudos to Daniel, the King of customer service!.So yea guys if you visit Maryland and need storage, go to Extra Space Storage where they really treat you like family!!!
