We needed new rollers on our Pella sliding door. That in and of itself did not make me happy. It took a little bit to figure out who to call, but once I did, they helped me identify the door exactly for new rollers. With Covid, it took longer than usual to get an appointment, but that I understand as well. And Richard & David showed up, on time, masked. They didnt disturb a thing as they worked on the door, showed me why the wheels werent working much at all, installed in the new rollers, and the door is now a pleasure to open and close. They explained everything, and they left no mess. I highly recommend Richard & David if you get to choose who you want.

Don came over to adjust two of my Pella doors. One door had the bolt in the middle (3 point system) come out all the time. The other door would not lock. Don quickly and accurately assessed the situation. Both doors were out of square and Don was able to get the doors closer to square. He also replaced the locking mechanism with a spare I had from another Pella door.Dons decades of experience paid off. He was pleasant to work with and willingly shared advice on how to keep the doors functioning well into the future. Don is truly a professional who really knows his windows and doors.

This was professional from start to finish. The installers worked very hard and did terrfic work. They arrived at 7a and worked till 7p. Took two days. I got them subs for dinner each day as they would not take a break from work.Installed 26 windows and the front door.

We have Pella sliding glass doors with internal blinds - that we just love. One of our internal blinds started acting up after almost 5 years of daily opening and closing. Don was the Technician that came out to inspect and repair the blind. After inspecting and assessing the situation, he determined we needed a new blind. He placed the order and returned with the new blind for installation. Don is very knowledgeable, personable, efficient and a great teacher - he showed us the best way to open and close the double glass doors. We Highly recommend Don.

A sales rep, Steve Philips, came to our house to give an estimate. He gave an estimate and stated that because his yearly sales quota was tomorrow, he would waive his commission and gave us a really good deal. We went with him and signed a contract. He told us that the windows would be ready delivered in 3-4 months. We called him multiple times trying to give him our deposit, and he repeatedly said that we didnt need to pay that until the windows came in. I called this store today asking for an ETA on when the windows would be delivered, as nearly 12 weeks had passed. They informed me that they closed the account because we never gave them the deposit. Extremely dishonest. We could have our windows installed by now if we had gone with another company, but this Pella sales rep lied to us so he could meet his sales quota. He offered us the windows at a price that he knew he could not be supplied at and then purposefully killed the contract. Now, three months later, prices have gone up.UPDATEAfter posting my initial review and calling other Pella phone numbers besides the sales rep, a manger reached out to me. They honored the contract and they are installing what I originally ordered. I have no idea what was going on with my sales rep, and I am pretty sure he was not supposed to give me that offer, but the company did honor the contract and push it through. Very honest company.

Didnt hold up their end of the contract. I purchased 7 windows from them for my home (paid good money too). Initially, The sales rep who did an in home consultation told me it would take approx. 4 weeks. Then he sends me a contract to sign that says 8 weeks; I immediately replied that this is not what we talked about. He changes it to 6-8 weeks and emphasizes that 8 weeks would be the maximum. Turns out we get the windows 12 weeks later. Not to mention that 2 of the windows that were delivered were 1/2 too big (despite two separate visits to verify measurements). I expressed my disappointment at each step but always got some version of Sorry but it is what it is. I feel that people should be aware of my experience.

The scope of this project went far beyond simply replacing a regular window with a bay window. He reassessed the substantial weight load and, in an abundance of caution, called for his team supervisor, Aaron Smith, to pick up and deliver onsite an even heavier gage cable to guarantee absolute structural integrity. At every turn, Robert considered the best plan of action, explained his thinking to me, and proceeded with his construction crew of three to carry out multiple tasks as carpentry, wood cutting, frame building, masonry drilling, molding design, copper sheet roof cuttin and installation, and painting.The Blue Sky crew worked for two full days, 7am to 5pm, non-stop but for lunch and a few snacks that I provided to keep them fueled. Aaron, Troy and Ray also dropped by at various times to check on the project.I’m so pleased with my beautiful and spacious addition. Greetings!I wanted to share the great experience I had with service technician Philip Wendtland today Thursday 9/10/20. I could not fully close the bottom sash of my ground floor window which prevented it from locking. Yesterday the service manager arranged for Phil to come by after a particular time today. During that time window Phil called to let me know he was en route. Immediately afterwards a torrential rainfall started. Phil arrived and found a LEGAL parking space - no small feat in this area.When I showed him the problem he pointed out that the problem wasnt the bottom sash but the top sash was not fully closed. Duh!Afterwards Phil gave me detailed instructions on the operation of the window (OK I never washed them but he wasnt judgemental). We then went upstairs and repeated the lesson this time on a different model of window. Not only did I appreciated the time he took with me to give me tips on how to properly open, close and lock with windows and how to avoid typical Gotchas hes experienced with customers, I have a much better appreciation for the quality and workmanship that goes into your product. We didnt attempt to fix it ourselves and so pleased with Dons magic touch. He also showed my husband and I how to fix it ourselves, if it should happen again.The clips that hold our glass in were popping out since we had new glass panels replaced when our blinds were replaced. Don easily fixed that problem and now theyre flush and hold the panels more securely than before.Hopefully, no need to call Pella for repairs but, if we needed service again, wed like to know that we could ask for Don again.

The initial service person deployed was unable to repair the deteriorating lock on French doors leading to the deck. The door was sticking and the lock had become extremely difficult to operate. Because it was still under warranty, a replacement lock was ordered and a return service visit was scheduled. Don, an experienced technician came and installed the new lock assembly and adjusted the door alignment so the door and the latch now open and close with ease.

Pella installed two three pane sliding glass doors in my townhouse about two years ago. During the last heavy rainstorm one of our doors started leaking. We called Pella and they arranged a repair man to come out. Ngoc came out this morning and identified the problem right away. After about 15 minutes of work he was on his way. Very professional, very nice, and thorough.

I had a problem with a slider installed two years ago, the Sunday night before I was to leave town for a week. I left a message at the office but wanted to talk with a human. I allied Paul, the salesman that sold us the door. He answered and told me what to do to secure the door and gave me the contact number for service.i called service the next day and was able to schedule a service call. Paul checked back in a couple of times to ensure that all was good - which it was. Thanks Paul!

Richard replaced our broken window on August 06, and was quick, professional, and friendly. He repeatedly attempted to contact us about our window, as I had just woken and didn’t hear him knocking. Fortunately his persistence paid off, as I caught him just in time. He even gave me tips about how to care for my other Pella windows.

The serviceman, David, arrived on time and quickly identified the problem. Repaired the seized roller. Identified additional damaged caused water coming around the vinyl trim. Applied caulk to prevent additional water damage. Only issue was that the service only sent one person to remove and repair a large wood and glass slider. David did a great job!

It was a great pleasure to work with the same people 3 years later since my first project - Alli, Ray - and that tells a lot about the company. Rarely any designer/contractor would advise you better than Ray. The teams who do the work are professional, and know well what they are doing. I had a very good experience with service technician Philip Wendtland. Our windows were old and tricky, they wouldnt stay open, so we called Pella. Phil made several trips to find just the right balance for them, gave extra care and attention to detail until they were working properly.. He explained a lot of things about windows to me. I definitely will be using his service again in future if I need more windows help.
