Excellent beauty store with sooo much inventory and wide selection. Very very neat, organized, spacious and brightly lit. I highly recommend it for beauty and hair products and accessories.

Honestly I’m not even sure where to start with this review. Let me just start by speaking my truth. The customer service is phenomenal, the prices are four times higher than any stores and online!! I can’t believe that I’ve been giving this place my business for years today I decided to go online to inquire What if I had purchased it online? I am floored! The same hair that I purchased was packaged has two bundles. We know that we need at least 3 to 4 so that our hair is nice and full! I paid $91 for two bundles EACH. Online the SAME hair( innocent Brazilian natural wave)comes in three bundles and it’s only $89.00 from unice.com.Today is the last day that I stepped foot into beauty 4U. Today was the last day that you got $182.00 of my money!! This Price gouging in OUR communities has to STOP.

I dont buy hair so cant comment on the quality or price. Prices of hair products are a little higher than what youd find online or at a department store. Girl helping with hair seemed friendly but register/management(asian) seemed to possibly not know English well. Plenty parking

I want to personally thank the two wonderful women today that assisted my sister in finding the perfect wig . She lost her hair from cancer so it was very emotional for her . There kindness in taking the time to tell her all about wigs and what would be best for her resulted in us purchasing three. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment. During the period of covid it sure was nice to have such wonderful service

This store may have a lot of products (*over-priced*), but good customer service was something they seemed to have out of stock. Specifically, the owner James is rude and disrespectful. The attitude that man carries is uncomfortable to be around and not worth me ever going back. The black women that work there are nice and helpful though! Instead, I recommend checking out “wigtypes.com” for your hair and beauty needs or supporting black owned businesses!

This store is the epitome of a “one-stop hair shop.” Not only is the store immaculate, but the products are arranged from “high-end” to very affordable. Just when you might feel overwhelmed, here comes a store assistant to help. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. There is a diverse range of ethnicities and hair, worn by the associates. I love this store and all it represents. Take the trip, take a look and judge for yourself. You will NOT be disappointed.

Moved back to MoCo after a few years in LA, where I was used to beauty supply stores with everything under the sun. Here, I went back to the usual beauty supply store closer to where I live which was awful, very small with limited supplies, and the Asian store owners would follow us EVERYWHERE. Like breathing down our necks. Coming to Beauty 4U for the first time was like entering heaven!! Extensive products and I was happy to see Black women working there. Ive seen some reviews about poor customer service but I didnt experience that, and even if I did idc because as long as I can find everything I need and Im not constantly being followed, Im good!! This is going to be my go-to store.

The biggest, best stocked beauty supply in the area. I would reserve a star for the fact that you have to buy a wig cap every time you want to try one on, but the place is so big and loaded with great stuff, I just cant. Also the rewards program is nice. The ladies there are helpful. My favorite beauty supply.

The store has everything under the sun, EXCEPT good customer service. NO ONE in this store is friendly and the Asian guy, whom I presume is the the owner, is the worse of all. He doesn’t smile. He doesn’t speak. He is rude when asked questions, AS IF, his store is doing ME a favor. I don’t think so.NOW, they have a COVID policy, no exchanges, no refunds, no returns. I’ll take my money elsewhere, knowing that if I have a reasonable problem with the product, I’m not stuck with it.I live minutes away, but they won’t get my money anymore. Huge place with lots of products. Its extremely clean and very organized. Prices are reasonable. I appreciate how kind and helpful the employees are. Was even able to restock all colors i needed of my L.A. girl concealers and was very pleased with the price. Unlike other places in the area charging $7 for concealers that used to be $2 not to long ago.

Aside from having a wide selection of wigs, weaves, braids, beauty and hair products I did realize that some of the prices of the items are a little bit...over board. For instance, the miss Jessies hair collection though it is pricey, all of the products are not 24.00 worth. The only product in its twenties is the miss jessie Pillow hair. Compared to Target, that moisturizer is 22.00. The others are supposed to be from 14-16 dollars, 18 dollars max. So therefore, they are over pricing. Another product overpriced is the Aztec healing clay, which they price at 11.99 Ive been to other beauty supply stores and it was between 8.99 to 10.00. If you want miss Jessies hair products, take yourself to target. I am well versed in my hair products and I know that that is way over priced. Ive used mielle, Hawaiian silky, cantu, shea moisture, mixed chicks, ors, African pride, lotta, dr miracle, henna and placenta, curls, mane choice, so I know my hair products well.Take your business elsewhere. This beauty supply store is notorious for its manager. I need not explain. Other reviews will paint a clear picture for you.

Although this place is well stock with Hair, neat and clean, but customer service is horrible. These Asians don’t value customers, specially that they are the driven buyers and customers in the hair business. They don’t do refund and mainly they always try to cheat you from receiving full store credit. The manager is extremely rude. Customer service is the most important thing in business. I pray for the day when black business owner would own the hair industry since they are the customers and the clients they really need to step up their games own the air industry and keep it in their community. Just like you never see a black person own a Chinese restaurant or driven the Chinese food industry is the same way they shouldn’t be driven the black hair industry that’s why they don’t value our business our care to provide good customer service to us.

My mother enjoyed her shopping experience at this shop. She said they had a good variety of products and helpful employees. She recommend any aged women to shop there. And of course, she will visit again.

Bought 2 wigs today. Explained that I have chemotherapy damage and wigs were too small. One didnt have the deep part advertised. Asian male manager would not exchange or refund. Was extremely rude. I am going to report to consumer affairs office in Rockville. Also contacting American Cancer Society as well as the better business bureau. Will never return. You will lose lots of business today. Had no compassion at all.

Its the employees but one particular manager, Im guess thats what he is. He appears to be Asian and is just so nasty, please avoid him if you can. Out of everything you want

The store is very nice and clean and the cashiers are very courteous but,the Asian male manager we met today was horrible. His customer service was very poor and he acted like he did not understand what I was saying but, I knew he did. Advise to owner, please train your Asian male manager in customer service because your very good business will loose a lot of customers because of him, remember there are a lot of other beauty supply stores in this area and if the Asian male manager happens to be the owner I suggest you change your attitude.

Customer service sucked the staff are rude as hell. I went to buy same wigs and the way I was spoken to was very nasty over a wig cap. I understand the point of the rule of buying the cap but its not what you say its how you say it to someone. The woman was so nasty to me with her tone.I left and went some where else to buy my wigs. Great customer service. I ended up buying three wigs, the owner give my a discount since I bought three.still being piss off about the bad customer service that I received from your store, I come back to voice my concerns and all I got was a blank stare. I was a regular customer at the store, but since you had no respect for my feelings I will never shop at your place of business again. I will shop at black owned shops from now on. From experience, they have treated the customers with the respect they rightfully deserve.I, unfortunately, can not say the same for the Asian MALE manager for he is soooooooo and veryyyy racist and unprofessional. One night, me and my sisters went to the store to purchase wigs as we have done once before. We received assistance from an elder Asian lady. She was sweet enough to help us and even gave us advice on how to work the wigs. She advise us to take off our jackets, so we can see the full beauty of the wigs. After she kindly helped us, we found what we wanted and was ecstatic to purchase the wigs. However, before purchasing, we went to look for more items we needed to complete our shopping. As we made our way around the store, next thing we know, the Asian MALE manager started to BLATANTLY follow us. Legit, EVERYWHERE we went in the store, he was RIGHT THERE. He acted as if he was buying items near us, as we moved place to place, with a EMPTY shopping cart. He had A EMPTY SHOPPING CART!!! My sisters and I were finally fed up with his antics and we decided to not buy anything, AT ALL. We were so UNCOMFORTABLE and completely embarrassed in how he was treating us. Note, there were other non black customers in the store that he did not follow and harass like he so blatantly did us. We gave the wigs back to the old Asian lady and said “never mind.” And the LOOK she gave us on her face indicated she knew why we returned the wigs. It sure wasn’t because we were dissatisfied in the wigs (we absolutely loved the wigs), but because we were extremely dissatisfied in the manager’s behavior and treatment towards us, as customers. I am extremely disgusted and disappointed in his actions that he does so shamelessly.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! I wanted to purchase a spray bottle for my hair. Unfortunately, the one I chose didnt have a price tag on it. So the lady asked how much it costs. My husband went back to the area where we got it. He came back and said $2.99. The Asian man who is probably the owner, was on the other register with a customer and automatically said $3.99 without even thinking. My husband said that the tag said $2.99, but the man said no, its $3.99. We have no reason to lie about the pricing. I told the lady that I didnt want it, and she said okay. She was about to check us out when the man said, move over here to this register. She told him that we didnt want it and he again said, with more authority I might add, move over here. There was no reason for him to be rude to his employee and for him to automatically raise the price of the one that my husband gave. I will NEVER come back to this one and I will NEVER. EVER recommend it to anyone. I know that it was probably because we were black and they probably have issues with a few of their customers, but come on! You need the business. Get your act together and learn better customer service. Sincerely, unsatisfied customer

Stumbled upon this store a few weeks ago. 1st, presentation is everything and boy do they present. They had everything and I do mean everything. Everything was neat and in its place. No open boxes laying everywhere with product over stocked in the isles. It was an experience. Ill be back this weekend.

The stock and inventory is consistent but the staff is way too rude. If you’re black they’re looking at you like you’re about to steal. Even young children with their parents who come in get the “you’re about to steal” stare.

Racist Asian manager. I showed up with my white friend and we separated. He trailed me as I looked at braiding hair, and never thought twice about the white girl looking at black hair products. When we met at the counter he insisted on doing my transaction and not hers. I just left all my stuff at the register and she did the same. We will not patronize racist business and you shouldnt either.

Customer service is poor. A couple of the workers took turns following me around the store (yes, I noticed) which made me feel uncomfortable. Id rather travel a little further to a different beauty store rather than feeling as if Im a theft suspect.

They have a huge selection of products. But they are over priced and I found everything I needed at Salleys for a lower price. They dont have a return policy either. They also only give store credit even for unopened product. The customer service there is horrible. The employees follow you around and the guy there watches you the whole time the lady is checking you out. He makes you feel like a criminal.
