I have known about this shop for years. Indeed they specialize in a huge range of vehicles, but most important to me is the Nissan GTR platform. I was fortunate enough to buy my dream car the GTR, and after months of planning, I was finally able to bring it to SB automotive for the work I had planned. This car is very special to me, and trusting it in anyones hands is often stressful, but not with SB automotive. The guys at SB are incredible professional. Customer service is of huge importance to me and SB treats you like family. They kept me up to date every step of the way. If I had questions, they were very prompt to answer. They provided me service for everything I wanted and MORE! I have researched a lot of the shops in the area and a lot of them put it their pride over their customers. This was probably one of the best experiences I have had with any shop. The attention to detail and communication was incredible. After being screwed over by another shop I took my GTR here after not listening to a cousin of mine. I simply cant recommend them enough. The guys over at SB Automotive are at the top of their game when it comes to performance modifications. I brought my C6 in for a harmonic balancer and performance modifications and they got it done in a few days for a fantastic price. Couldnt be happier and were already discussing the next round of work!

By far the best and most professional car mechanic shop in the State. Both Dave and Chris take the time to explain all the work before and after completion. I was recommended SB auto from friends after going to two different auto shops (multiple times) for vibration and steering issues. They were able to correctly diagnose the issues the first time and showed me what damage the other shops did to my car! On top of that they were able to repair my severely scratched rims which I was amazed with. This will be the only auto shop I go to from now on!

I’m stoked!! I’ll start there before I rant, in a good way of course.I reached out to SB Automotive and I got a quick prompt response from Chris. First impression was great I got the answers I wanted and arraigned for my car to get dropped off.I’ve known David through a friend, as an outsider I always followed his work. I never had any lack of confidence in the work which is why I elected them.From first email to drop off to social media updates (lol) wasn’t expecting to have them post my car to picking up my car it was all too easy.Mind you what I got done on my car is minuscule in comparison to what these guys do. They do some really really intense projects. I work in the car industry (Car Audio) not in the Auto Tech side of the world and I can honestly relate to their work ethic as it’s what I believe in and do. I went to SB Automotive to have a lot of repairs done on my 08 Acura TL. Chris was really responsive and communicative throughout the process. He provided me with before and after pictures, and gave me a lot of good advice about how to maintain my car. Also got all that I needed to get done on my car, he quoted me a less than other auto shops in the area. I would absolutely recommend Chris for any work you need done on your vehicle, he’s an honest and down to earth guy. You won’t regret it.

Chris and Dave are simply the best in the area - hands down! I thought I needed my brakes changed but actually only needed brake fluid (brakes were in good condition). Chris explained everything and made a few recommendations for my next visit. Most other shops would have just went ahead and changed the brakes to make some extra money. I accidentally took my keys home and they patiently waited for me to return so they could continue with the work. While I waited, Dave even brought some AMAZING empanadas for his staff and offered me some (foodie at heart, here!). Needless to say, theyll be my mechanics from here on out!

Took my 1998 4runner in for some basic tune up repairs about month ago, chris and david were extremely helpful in getting my truck repaired. they noticed i had some leaks from my rear axles that was causing my e brake not to hold. they quoted the repairs and i decided to bring the truck back at a later date, after the second repairs were done i was more then pleased with their quality of work, they even cleaned and adjusted the brake shoes after the seals were replaced to get the e brake working correctly again. they have earned my business and i will be back with my other vehicles.

I own a ford ranger 2000 and a couple of weeks ago it began making some horrible noises coming from the engine. I spoke to a cousin of mine who referred me to Chris @ SBautomotive. Spoke witth Chris on the phone he sounded like a very knowledgeable guy. I got my truck towed to sbautomotive since it wasn’t driveable, turns out it had a crack in the head gasket. After discussing my options with Chris I put my truck in his hands. Got my truck back a week now and it’s running smooth even better then before!!!! Chris basically rebuilt the engine he also took care of a antifreeze leak the truck had, all for a great price! I highly recommend SBautomotive. Will be taking my Honda to them for future repairs also.

I brought my GT-R in for a FBO install and tune. Everything was done in about 3 days (I expected a week). David and Ryan are both very friendly and they work with you. I definitely recommend this shop if you have a GTR or even if you need service on any car.

I needed my Maryland state inspection done along with some other repairs . I also needed a reliable shop with honest mechanics. THIS IS THE PLACE ! They have a sign on the street so you can easily pull in to find and its right next to prestige . Chris and Dave know their stuff and are always willing to work with you, and give diagnosis and list of what needs to be done first . The list was clear organized and prices along with the total . They also can email it to you which is helpful. They are quick with labor and work, but the only wait times are for parts arrival. But they always keep you updated . The drop off box is big and obvious so you cant miss which is also helpful. theyre nice and friendly guys, customer service 100. For any clarification or questions you can always call as well. The waiting room is comfortable with a water cooler and a few magazines . Chris was smart and he knew what I would need done next and prioritized. Repairing a car cost money which is to be expected especially if you want your car to last . Not cheap but quality and that is what is important, you have to invest in your car. I rely on them the most because they are dependable, knowledgable, experienced, and wont leave you stranded and safety comes first . Out of allthe places ive went to Chris has been the onlyone that has ever solved my mechanical issues correctly . I was very happy when I left and my car was repaired and i also have a peace of mind that I have good mechanics for all my needs and future repairs . The first review is correct they only give you what you need and do not oversell or unnecessary add ons, which is annoying from other places . Thanks Guys!
