Caroline at Zales in Oaks Mall is a wonderful Zales Associate. She is nice, knowledgeable, and cares about her customers. She helped me out with a complicated repair. I was happy to have gotten her as my Zales Associate.
Oaks mall @ Gainesville. Great service
Lots of prompt attention from a friendly and knowledgeable sales lady, who really worked to help me find the right piece in a large selection. Fair pricing and a reasonable lifetime jewelry warranty. Nice gift bagging. This is a good place to shop for your better everyday real jewelry collection.
Friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Great buying experience and have returned multiple times.
They did not have what I was looking for.
Alex my Salesman was a phenomenal help, not too pushy but let me know the selection and gave good advice. One of the Easiest purchases I ever made. The Jewerly is better than everyone elses.
Bought a tennis bracelet the first day my fiancé wore it the clasp undid itself return it an the manager comes to me pulling at it saying it’s fine like I’m dumb an I don’t know what I’m talking about
I purchased my wedding band in March and that same day left it with Zales to get sized. They shut down a couple of weeks later due to COVID-19 (which is not their fault). I understand the need to keep customers and employees safe. So I booked a virtual appointment with the manager to figure out a way to get my wedding band after everything started opening up, since this location was one of the few that has still not opened up. When speaking to her the best thing she could do was ship me my ring from the repair shop. She told me I would have it within the week and be given a tracking number. I asked if I would have to sign for the package and she said NO I would just have to be home when it arrived (we are talking about a 1,200 dollar item with NO SECURITY MEASURES). My fiancee and I both work, but our complex does have a clubhouse where they can receive packages for us and hold them. She told me they couldnt do that to just track my package and try to be home when it arrives. Its been over a week and half and I have not received my ring OR a tracking number. I then booked another appointment to speak to her and was not called, so I booked another and was still not contacted. Frustrated because Im supposed to be getting married soon and do not want to purchase another fake ring for picture after spending so much on my actual ring I tried to call customer service to get more information. When i called they kept saying there were high wait times, which is fine but they hung up on me while I was waiting by the phone. Then I call again and after waiting another HOUR and listening to how pearls are the stone of the month on a loop they HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EXPERIENCED DURING THIS WHOLE WEDDING PROCESS. Wish I could give them zero stars. NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE MY RING IS OR WHEN IM GETTING IT. Their virtual live chat is down and I dont know what to do. If you are newly engaged DO NOT shop here, there are friendlier places that believe in customer service and now I have to get married WITHOUT my ring (WHAT WAS THE POINT IN BUYING IT). I understand that there is a pandemic and I sympathize but please do not tell me youre going to do something and then NOT do it or leave me in the dark. I would MUCH RATHER PREFER to be told we dont know when or what is going on, rather than be given false promises or being kept IN THE DARK.
Spent thousands on a ring and went back to get it sized and the sales associate had no idea what she was doing. On top of that she laid out a bunch of receipts that had the price of the ring right in front my fiancee! Didnt even think to ask if I wanted her to see. Will never go back here.
These people seriously have the ugliest diamonds. To top it, horrible costumer service. Your seriously better off going across the street to the pawn shop. They’ve got way better quality diamonds for half the price.
Mary Ann, was wonderful in assisting me, very friendly, and very professional, really knowledgeable about her occupation👍🏽
We have been buying jewelry here for about 3 years. Always nice employees and willing to show anything even when they know im probably not going to buy that day. The turn around time for repairs I feel like could be better but thats out of their hands. The trade in perk is awesome!
Thank you Carolyn & co-worker for helping my son with his purchase. Im so glad it worked out & you were awesome!
Not the place for me. Jewelry is overpriced. Quality is mediocre. Staff isnt friendly or helpful.....in fact, some of the workers are condescending and snooty. There are better quality pieces with nicer people in other stores. I wont be returning.
I Had the best experience with Zales today. My diamond fell out of my ring (because my son got ahold of it) I called the store frantic and Christine (I think) helped me out and was so calm although I was freaking out a bit. She told me she was going to take care of me and to just stop by with the ring and any paperwork i have. Well my fiance purchased the ring so I didnt have a recipt but she assured me that they would be able to assist me still. When I arrived the lady I spoke to wasnt there so Dwayne helped me and I was very impressed he was the gentleman that sold my fiance our ring AND remembered him too. He was very patient and understanding of my unfortunate situation. not only did he send my ring out for the repair but also recommending an adjusted size to a more comfortable fit for me.Thank you kindly!
Buyer beware - prices listed are NOT what you get. I purchased my fiance and my ring a year and a half ago for half off (marketing tactics I thought), we come back this week for a $100 emerald ring we saw online. The lady informs me that I need to call the main office because my card isnt working. I call and they explain to me that the $2000 credit was supposed to be paid within 6 MONTHS or else it goes back to normal price which is DOUBLE the price that was on the tag. I was NOT informed in the store about this. Now my credit line was $2500, with the payments Ive made im currently over $500 my limit (after a year of paying $50/m on something I thought was $2000, today I find it skyrocketed to over $3k). My credit went down almost 100 points and Im severely pissed. So, I guess we wont be able to get approved for the home loan we planned on getting this year thanks to Zales being THAT slimy....Buyer beware....Nobody said Id have to pay $350/M to get the discounted price or I would have went somewhere else or even found different rings in my price range ...
Poor customer service
I had very similar experiences as the other customers reviews on 3 separate visits to the Gainesville Florida store Very unhelpful, rude associates, and what seemed dishonest sales practices. My fiancee did open an account and purchased my ring, which is beautiful, but I think Ill purchase my wedding band some place different more honest and helpful
The attention and the experience I had at Zales was fantastic
GREAT customer service and excellent products.
This place is absolutely awful. From the moment I went ring shopping for my fiancée to getting the ring sized it has been horrible. Everyone has been so rude to me and my fiancée. When I was looking for rings the people working were so pushy. At one point we delt with the store MANAGER and when I told him I wanted to think about it before I bought it, he instantly got so rude with us because he didn’t make a sale. Then when my fiancée got her ring sized the older lady working there was so rude to her and acted as if she was such a bother, god forbid she do her job. I just called to ask when her ring will be back from getting sized and the lady on the phone was so rude also and told us a week and a half two weeks and now they’re telling me it’s going to be 3 weeks to a month before it comes in. Awful zales location and awful associates. The higher up should REALLY take a better look at the store management and associates because after I get my ring back and pay my credit card, I will NEVER shop here again. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else, even a pawn shop would be better than zales.
Adam was very helpful, good experience, easy to work with.
The most awful experience. I bought a $1200 Movado watch that after 10 months is not working anymore. When I came to the store looking for help a very mean lady told me there is nothing she can do for me. I asked for help getting information where should I send the watch but they did not help at all. They have no sense of customer service.
Rude people, no one talks to each other or know whats going on. They love to sell you stuff, but as soon as you want to make good on a warranty or a repair, terrible terrible terrible people.
Their on-line selection is good, but when I went to the store in the mall, it was a horrible experience. Although there were no customers there, no one even got out of their chairs to help me out. I asked about a personalized item I saw and they told me it would be at least 2 weeks... sorry. When I told them I could get it in 7 business days online they said the could maybe match that. They didnt bother even showing me around the store or offering other options as they knew I was looking for something in a week. Honestly the worst customer service I have ever had.So... I left and went to a few of the other stores in the mall, found what I was looking for at a good price, and ultimately left happy. The online selection of Zales was pretty good, but the customer service, at least in the Gainesville store, was horrible. I would avoid it if you can.
Terrible customer service.
Bad customer service
I liked them
