I still love this place and looking forward for more boutique and establishments around the area. The restroom was clean during the visit.

I enjoyed my ice cream. They have a lot of different treats. Very pricey. The employees did not engage at all until I asked for my ice cream. Product was great but service was not.

My fave (chocolate seafoam) and everything else in there including their ice cream, is divine!

Came here with my family and we were excited to try it out, having never been there before. Honestly, we weren’t impressed. The ice cream was good but it tasted just like any other ice cream. For the price we were excepting something more. And the sundae was more whipped cream than ice cream. Very little ice cream at all. That being said, this place is WAY too over priced. I’m sorry to say, but we won’t be coming back. Not because of the quality, but because of the price.

This is the first time weve try ice cream at kilwins! It was pretty good! I had key lime pie with waffle cone. Yummm! Beautiful place and you can enjoy sitting outside and listen to jazz music in the evening. We cant wait to visit kilwins again soon!

So, their ice cream isnt that special and is overpriced with that said. I tried their milk chocolate caramel squares. The box of chocolates was as small as my hand and it $12.99. (luckily, my boyfriends cousin bought it for me as a gift). The chocolate has a gross metallic aftertaste. Its gross 🤮. If all their chocolate has that aftertaste then Im not getting chocolate from this place no more.

Everything is somewhat expensive but thats to be expected. It all smells heavenly though.

Amazing selection of chocolates but I was not impressed by the ice cream. It had a grainy consistency that I wasnt a fan of. I will go back for other treats but not the ice cream.

Terrible experience. The only reason Im not giving a one star is because Kilwins never fails to impress in the desert department. The worker, Melanie, was very rude and unwelcoming. We were trying to figure out what we wanted and told them so and they gave us an attitude the whole time. They also acted like they never wanted to be working in the first place.

Everything was great 🙂 my daughter has a tree nut allergy and they were so careful. Love when staff is helpful and knowledge 😉

Best flavors in town

Kilwins is my favorite ice cream. I was thrilled when they opened a location in gainesville. I went close to closing time. Staff was very friendly, gave wonderful service. You can try samples of ice cream prior to purchasing. A little on the pricey side but so worth it. They also have calories listed so health conscious consumers can make educated decisions. My husband and I got two scoops each in cup, for about $17. I got the Raspberry Greek Yogurt and he got the Lemon Sorbet. The area is really nice to sit and enjoy outside yard games, nice walk, dinning, movies and shoppingI highly recommend this establishment.

Delicious ice cream with a wide variety of flavors. The chocolate sea salt caramel was really good. The waffle cones for the ice cream are made on-site at the store. There are also many baked treats, dipped apples, and fudge here.

I ordered two milkshakes but to be honest they were more like flavored milk. There was little thickenss and to them, im pretty sure a ratio of 10oz ice cream and 8 oz milk is way too close to a one to one . It was extra disappointing because I really enjoy their ice cream.

Such a nice place and the Ice cream was awesome. Some ice cream can be to icy, but theirs has an awesome mouth feel and fantastic flavor. The various chocolates and other sweet treats are sure to hit that sweet tooth. Try the Kilwins Mud ice cream in a waffle cone, then for a later treat, try the dark chocolate peanut butter cup.

I usually love this place, but I had an employee literally scream at me because I guess I was cutting the line When I tried to get a soda. The whole experience was just very unprofessional.

Ice cream is very creamy and tastes fresh. Their waffle bowls are also really good. They even have caramel apples. They are a little on the expensive side but i guess because of the location they have to keep it up. You can always use a discount app for local Gainesville businesses.

I really try to pike this location, but I just cant. The caramel apples are skimpy on the caramel and the pecan brittle is thin. Saint Augustine and The Villages are much better locations. The ice cream here is delicious though

The ice cream waffle cone was delicious! There were so many amazing dessert, including caramel apples in a variety of flavors. Prices were a little high but as an occasional sweet treat its a fabulous place to satisfy your craving!

I grew up with a Kilwins in Stuart, Fl found one in Panama City Beach, Fl and now they have one right here in Gainesville, Fl. They have awesome candies and the ice cream they have is just delicious. This one is great. I was shocked to see it when we went to the new movie theater but oh so happy. We were able to take the ice cream and relax outside where there are they have a huge community area for relaxing. The employees were great.

We were greeted upon entering. The server offered us the option to sample flavors. Once we chose, he immediately got our items for us and rang us out. Its exciting to have a Kilwins in Gainesville now because its some of the best ice cream and waffle cones youll ever have.

The best hot chocolate in Gainesville! Though I have not tried their ice cream or other items on their menu, I can definitely say that their hot chocolate is SO delicious.My friends and I were out walking around Celebration Pointe in the chilly cold weather and we decided to get to Kilwins for their hot chocolate. Though we had a little bit of a wait (there was 6 of us) to get our drinks, it was worth it! The hot chocolate is made out of froth milk and topped with chocolate shavings. When we received the drink, it was really hot to the point where we burnt our tongues (we couldnt wait haha). There are 2 types of hot chocolate but the regular hot chocolate is always a classic! Highly recommend!

The appearance of the store is very nice, but it pretty much ends there. The service is very disorganized and unfriendly. 4 employees were attending to the ice cream counter while we and others wee literally standing at the cash register with items in our hands, we left without purchasing and returned after our movie giving them the benefit, but we were again ignored at the cash register while the ice cream was the only thing attended to. I suppose if we were there to get ice cream this would be a better review. I have been to the one in St Augustine many times while it was crowded and still left with quick friendly service. Cake Batter flavor changes for the worse a few years back. My wife and I had it our first trip to St. Augustine 2008, we had it again when I purposed to her in 09. We served 10 gallons of it at our wedding reception. The last few times we have had it, it just isnt as good as it once was. I would by more chocolates, truffles and treats but at $30/lb, they get very little of my business. I dont understand it. As a business owner I want to move product, not through it away. Drop your margins, do more business and your profits in dollars increase.

Quite small, but everything is made fresh instore. Usually short lines if any and friendly staff. Give the Kilwins Tracks a try if you cant decide what you want.

HORRIBLE customer service. Walked in and each employee looked at us but did not speak. The employee who helped dish ice cream acted as though she couldnt be bothered to tell us about the flavors and that it was inconvient to give samples. She was also speaking relatively inaudibly. I repeatedly asked for a waffle bowl and she gave me a cup/dish instead. When leaving, another employee mentioned samples and I asked her about it and she told me to hold on and proceeded to help another customer who had stepped in front of me. Which she saw. As we were leaving, the lone male employee told us to have a good day. He was the only redeeming quality of the establishment. I wont be back.
