Very fair pricing and awesome service. I needed a suit/dress shirts dry cleaned for an important interview, and they returned it the next day looking great. Also love the convenience of the store as well. Would definitely recommend

Im working three jobs this summer, so when I actually have a day off the last thing I want to do is sit at a laundry mat. Yes, you could do your own laundry here, but the wash and fold service is where its at! Theyre so fast and do a way better job than I could ever do on my own LOL. Plus, the owners are super sweet. Inexpensive and convenient. 10/10.

I was shocked when Google maps brought me here in search of a coin OP. Laundry. It may be there, but there is ABSOLUTELY NO PLACE TO PARK. I thought Id driven past and missed it, but no. It was the correct location but WTH can anyone park? Maybe they cater to walk- in student use but its in the middle of a heavily congested area, not easy to access by car. I didnt even bother once I saw the area and the shop which is this dinky little dumpy storefront. Not worth the gas to get there.

Fast laundry service at an astoundingly low price.Okay so I walked in here quarters in hand thinking I was going to do my own laundry and wait around for a couple hours. The washer/dryer costs $1.25/$1.25 to do it yourself which is already lower than the other self help laundromats in town. But then I spoke with the man at the counter and found out they do laundry service, so I was like, cool, I have to get back to work so this is great. I didnt ask the cost. I gave him my name and number, he gave me a ticket, and took my one load of laundry in less than a minute. 3 hours later he called me to come pick it up. It was beautifully folded and I only had to pay $8.40! If you dont have a washer and dryer at home, or even if you do but you are busy, I highly recommend this service.

*I want to preface this by saying that I am actually quite an agreeable and easygoing person (believe it or not) which adds even more weight to my complaint.Ill start with the GOOD: Great prices for their wash and fold service, and theyre usually quick as well. The lady there is VERY sweet and the son is mellow and respectful.The BAD (or good depending how you look at it ;):The man/owner of this place is thoroughly condescending and rude.BUT,he never seems to break character with anyone he interacts with, which is actually quite impressive, so perhaps if youre more-so into the M when it comes to BDSM, just walk right in and take it! OH YES! Although Im not sure if he actually enjoys it, so it might feel a little one-sided.Heres a little sample for ya: Hell frustratingly repeat himself while vaguely pointing (or if youre lucky, hell just use words to show you) where EXACTLY he wants you to put your laundry bag, all the while being very annoyed with you for not understanding his orders.Another thing is that he made up a new rule for the way I do business with him as a passive aggressive way of responding to the fact that I once didnt pick my laundry up for a few days. Whats more is that hes never let me live that down; hes literally brought it up multiple times as I subsequently visited this store to pay for more laundry services. (If youre reading this, Im so very sorry, your majesty!)And folks, dont take my word for it, step right up and marvel for yourself! Hopefully hell be there, and ohhh youll know if its him or not ;)

This place is a godsend. I use the laundry service regularly, so I can testify that it is fast, inexpensive, and the laundry is well-handled. Ive depended on their merchandise for my non-perishables and for my school supplies. And the family who runs it is helpful and generous. Please support this local business!

If I could give zero stars I would. Unfortunately that is not an option. I was greeted by very rude man at the laundromat. There IS NO COIN LAUNDRY SERVICE. Although they advertise it as so. If youre not planning on doing a drop off do not go here. STAY AWAY!!!!!

My brother was in icu due to a accident while on vacation. I took his clothes to get them cleaned. They couldn’t have been any nicer!!! Their kindness and compassion to a complete stranger was overwhelming. I just couldn’t thank them enough.And btw clothes came back perfect. Wish I lived closer, I would never do laundry again.

Coin laundry not offered, even though advertised. They charge TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS to wash a comforter, and an average of TEN-DOLLARS for an average size load of laundry. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Ive used Gator Spirit as a laundry service for 2 and a half years now, and its perfect for what I need. The family that owns the store is very friendly, the service is fast, and they do a great job with laundry. Everything I need, and I would certainly recommend.

Were in Gainesville for an extended period of time, and needed to do some laundry. After visiting two other laundromats, we finally got a recommendation from our hotels staff, and they sent us here. I am so glad we did! We had approximately 4,872 pounds (an obvious exaggeration, to be sure!) of laundry because weve been here for a week. Our laundry was ready within a few hours, and all for under twenty-five dollars. I abhor doing laundry and am considering moving to Gainesville JUST FOR THIS SERVICE. Seriously, you guys are amazing. Thank you. I was dealing with a lot of laundry-stress, and you made my day so much easier.

I dont think Ive seen a self service cheaper than $0.70/lb. Thats as inexpensive as it gets. Service was fast and clothes was folded well. Will be coming back.

I have been a customer at Gator Spirit for too many years to count. Patel and family run a great store, with a lot of misc. school and canned food items you wont find on corporate shelves. It is a shame Americans are squeamish about other people doing their laundry, because Gator Spirit also has the best priced/valued laundry service in town. Try it. You might actually save money. Unlike the underpaid and often braindead wage slaves struggling at corporate stores, the family staff knows where every single item is (because they put it there!). I like knowing my money goes to a local family, and a family who can make good conversation at that!. Also, the talking parrot is just a kick in the pants (Beat that, Kangaroo!). If you need a machine-pressed fake-a-mocha-latte, take your business elsewhere, this a corner store for the real Gainesville.JamesT

This place is not a coin laundromat. They only do drop off. Dont try to park here either, even just to get your bearings. The staff will come out and hassle you. Dont try to park anywhere other than the street or youll be told to move
