A beautiful, large furniture store with an awesome selection in all price ranges. Joey was our salesperson and he was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Even the owner stopped to greet us and welcome us to the store. No high pressured sales environment which is a huge plus. Delivery personnel were polite, friendly, kind, and on time. You are doing yourself an injustice if you dont check out this awesome store and its staff! Highly recommend!

First of all, I will say that when I visited the store, everyone was very friendly and helpful. A few years ago I bought a leather 6 piece sectional and because it was an expensive piece of furniture and I have dogs, they talked me into the 5 year extended warranty. The sold me on it because they said it covered everything, including pet damage.Fast forward a few years later and I am having some issues with my couch. The seam of the corner piece has fallen apart and one of the pieces (where the dog usually lays) is flaking and discolored. So I figured this would be the perfect time to use my expensive warranty. I made an appointment for an assessment and the guy finally came out. It had been a few weeks even though he said he would call in a few days, so I reached out to the warranty company. They told me I was denied for everything because it was considered normal wear and tear. I am infuriated because how does only 1 seam and 1 piece of a 6 piece couch come apart and they can just call it wear and tear which is apparently not covered under the warranty that I was told covered everything. The said even if the seam was a manufacturers defect, that seams falling apart is not covered. So basically I wasted money on a warranty that covers NOTHING and now I have more than $3000 couch thats only a few years old with a couple of defects that I will have to pay out of pocket to fix.I am very disappointed that the salesman at Furniture Country sold me this amazing extended warranty that is 100% useless to me now. Fair warning to anyone who is thinking about buying their warranty, dont expect much.

Excellent buying experience. No high pressure sales. We browsed at our own pace and got exactly what we wanted. Greg was very helpful in answering our questions and concerns. We had them deliver our furniture. The delivery folks were extremely careful and respectful. I recommend this place over Ashley Furniture, I do not like to be bothered while I am shopping.

It was a enjoyable experience to come and shop at Furniture County compared to other stores visited. The set up of the store is easy to navigate and there are a wide variety of choices. I had purchased living room furniture from him several years ago and was happy to see he still works at this store. Went in to find a couch for our home and we were greeted by Greg. We told him what we were looking for and he found exactly what we wanted! Its a perfect fit for our home. We decided to pick it up ourselves that afternoon and met an incredibly helpful and friendly guy name Roger and another guy but I forget his name(sorry) that helped us load and secure our purchase. Overall an incredible experience and would definitely shop again.

I came here to furnish my first house. We left and checked out a few other places in the area before we made any moves and decided that this place had the best selection. Joey provided some great guidance and helped us find exactly what we needed. We found an entire living room set for around what I was expecting to pay for a decent couch & coffee table. My house feels like a lot more like home.

Today 06/24/2021 My family & I walked into Furniture Country and we were immediately greated by Darius a very nice young man who we give 5 stars. We were looking for a bedroom set and bar stools but we stumbled across some area rugs we were told there were 3 in stock of the one we liked which was marked down from $169 to $99 and in fact Darius asked us if we wanted all 3? we said no just 2 but did you have any other choices? Darius took us onto the sales floor where they had the exact same area rug in a smaller size for $199 with 30% off which would be $139. We wanted to speak to the manager about this and he or she would not come over to speak with us, but whenever Darius went to ask the manager a question they provided him with an answer, but refused to come speak with us. So we told Darius no problem we will take 2 of the bigger area rugs we like for $99 the manager sent Darius over and they said because the other rugs were newer even though they were same make, size, model they would be $139.The lazy manager never came to speak to us so we purchased nothing. But we did find 3 great Ashley swivel bar stools for $300 at furniture king. We were looking for a bedroom and stools but rest assured we will never shop or recommend Furniture Country to anyone. That is one lazy manager terrible business practices.

Furniture country is one of the better stores in gainesville.Big store and a lot of slection to choose from. Oran was very helpful and polite in helping us finding the rocker/recliner we bought .we have bought a lot of furniture there over many years, and owner and employees have always been pleasant to buy from.

Bought our dining room set this Presidents day weekend from Furniture Country. While in store, our salesman was polite, helpful and low pressure. First of all I want to say that these guys at the store are very nice patient and they dont follow you like vultures waiting for a sale. They are very informative about there products and if they dont have something that your looking for they can order it for you. Now for the delivery guys very professional, happy and seemed to be happy to be at work, they paid very close attention to detail. When bringing in my couches purposely went slow and watched the walls and doors laid down a blanket for the table top while putting the legs on for me thank you guys again.

Recently I was in the market for a new mattress. I’ve been an customer of Furniture Co. for years. Bought my Lane bedroom set, my guest bedroom set and multiple other items since 2002. . My husband and I went to see mattresses and met Greg M. He was AWESOME. No high sales price, no gimmicks, no pressure. The result? We came back the next week and bought a couch, we brought my Mom to buy a mattress and we’ve decided what mattress we will purchase next month. Prices ranged from low to high based on what you were looking for and sounds like they have a great delivery service, Ill be recieveing my furniture when I move to the area which is on a weekend so it is great that they offered delivery at that time.

She went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my purchase and did a fantastic job in helping me choose a color scheme between 2 pieces of furniture I didnt think would work together. I had a great experience from start until finish with sales associate Greg. He assisted me with new chairs, bed set + a king sized mattress. He made it easy to purchase, schedule delivery for the bed, and explained pick up details for the living room chairs. Sales were made and we were out the door in no time. What I also thought was nice is Greg gave us his cell and store number to make sure he was in that day when I came back to look again. We had one day with chairs and knew we were coming back to purchase the bed set w/mattress so you bet I called to make sure he was there! The bed delivery went well, too and it was tricky to get a king basically in a corner room, but they did it and set it up in record time. We were told by Greg that although they had to quote 14 weeks for shipments of furniture, he checked and the items we wanted would be in Oct 20. Greg even went as far as to go check with the manager about ensuring we would get our items on the Oct. 20th shipment. Now we are being told it MIGHT be here Dec. 4th. We are big in shopping local but this store and Greg have made us think differently. Please just be honest with your customers, be ethical. Oh and I spoke with the manager, nice guy, I asked him just to call me back with a honest time frame for our furniture.....still waiting on a call back. No surprise there.

This product is really comfortable and was reasonably priced at Furniture Country!But more importantly was the fantastic, honest and reliable service I received.The sales people were not out to sell me the most expensive item in the store but rather the item that suited my particular needs. Furniture Country, they are so amazing, my wife and I bought a living room set we got home and found out it was to big and the color didnt work for us so I went back in the next day to change the whole set and they were so understanding and so helpful I really appreciate how they handle the situation, and dont let me forget we came in 1 hr. before closing and held them there late.Thank you furniture country I will not shop any where else if they dont have it I dont want it.Sign,1 hr before closing.

If youre shopping for a mattress go to a MATTRESS STOREIVE bought numerous pieces as has sister. But go to real professionals when looking for mattresses.The staff doesnt offer any guidance or educate you and I ended up stuck with a less than desirable purchaseIt could have been avoided had I been advised on this very important purchaseThey do not take returns even tho I had it hours and knew something was offBtw. Most stores do exchanges or returns under certain conditionsI wont be going backBtw. I spent $400 extra just to make this semi comfortable

Buying a new home. Went to Furniture Country for a bunk bed by Discovery World. Greg was very helpful and made the shopping experience pleasant. I bought more than a bunk bed and am very excited to decorate my new home with the quality furniture from this store. My living room set was bought from Furniture Country 2 years ago. The moment I walked through the door I was greeted with a nice warm welcome by Rae. I had my 3 children with me and she was so patient with me and the kids the entire time. I explained that I had been to 3 different stores before I finally stopped here and was kind of dreading the experience with being taken advantage of, and treated like another number. I told her I was looking for a new bedroom set for me and my husband, what my budget was and she quickly got on board and helped me out.Mind you, this was my first time EVER going inside Furniture Country and just the welcoming feel to it all really set the tone and put me at ease with knowing I wasnt just another number to them. On top of them being kid friendly! But she helped me find this beautiful King Size set, they mentioned they had a four day special going on, I agreed to try it out, her and her co-worker then really got on board and helped me the best way possible. Joan Banks was very helpful in picking out the best mattress for me. I expressed a preference, having slept on a Serta mattress at a hotel and loved it. I didnt know what model it was. She explained different layers in different mattresses and offered price comparisons and a bonus or 2. I purchased mine within the half-hour - delivery was set up and I was very happy with entire process.Joan then called me before I got home to tell me that mattress would be delivered 2 days later than was set up because it would not be at store yet on original date. Thank you Joan Banks for making this purchase a pleasure.I also want to give 5 stars to the delivery men - Zach and Kori - for their excellent and timely delivery of my mattress. They moved the previous mattress to another room and placed the new one over a dust ruffle - keeping all in place. They were friendly, pleasant and professional. They were industrious and efficient. Excellent service from Greg in furniture country team as helped us with getting our bench replaced from furniture set after our first one was damaged. He showed us quality affordable options and we found something we really liked.

Joan was extremely helpful and pleasant. I was looking for a recliner for my stepfather that just got released from the hospital, ( he had back surgery performed and couldnt lay flat in bed). He and I were looking at the website and found a recliner that was perfect for him. I called Furniture Country and Joan was on the other end. Within an hour the recliner was purchased and loaded into my vehicle by another friendly staff member. I took it to my stepfathers house and he has been sitting in it since. I will highly recommend my friends and family to shop for their furniture at Furniture Country in the future.
